What’s your absolute favourite series to RP/ERP?

For me it is quite difficult to say which one but I do wanna say Naruto Universe or Dragon Ball Universe with some alterations.
Those two are probably my favorite with Helluva Boss probably close to it due to how the show is lol~ xD
 
For Canon Characters: DC. The characters have been through so many versions and are so iconic that I don’t feel weird putting my own stamp on them. I also had an RP that ran in an alternate MCU for a while, which was fun because the characters in the first few phases have such strong voice to them.

For OCs: I haven't had the opportunity, but I think Star Wars would be a fun sandbox in which to play.

I also take frequent inspiration from TTRPG settings.
 
TTRPG inspired: I love having a framework that I can pull references and use to start something new. I think of them as mental lego sets/pieces.

Mass Effect: I just love the universe and my first playthroughs were akin to playing through an epic book series. There's room to play plenty of OC storylines even if the point of Shepard was to more or less play an OC through a space epic. Only had a couple decent games.

Monster Hunter: I bust love the primal vibe of the setting and the over top yet uber low key vibe the life of a hunter is. It's hard to get an rp rolling though.

A good Castlevania or Legend of Zelda were my White Whales, at this point so would a Dresden Files or Monster Hunter International rp.
 
Creepypasta. Very well prepared, it can ignites the flames inside the characters and turn then from cringy to actually weird and obscure.
Something which I absolutely love to see!

I am very partial to Scifi in general and have a huge love for Mass Effect but also do love my Anime, General fantasy, post apocalyptic and general OC ideas.

More recently, I've favored OC content, but I do enjoy a good Fallout or D&D inspired RP from time to time.
 
I love using Fallout settings. Generally I write OC x OC, but I really enjoy adding canon characters as side characters lol.
 
RWBY, I don't get to rp it much but still it holds so much potential and the times I did manage to rp it just meant so much. Final Fantasy, preferably 7, 8, 9, 10-10-2, 12, 12, 15, and type-0 are likely ones that would resonate with me...even if I don't get to rp that much. Um...Sonic the Hedgehog Archie Comics...reason why is because it has more characters to play with...another one I don't get to do much but lots of potential. MLP...another one within reason. Life is Strange...that one is fun. I have like so many you'd be surprised the level of fandoms in my journal entry but all of those more or less hold potential and make for some fun Rp/ERP and such.
 
I also agree with RWBY! Definitely a favorite, but the things I like are quite specific so. Definitely rare, but ultimately the ones I always go to are anything DnD/TTRPG related...That's my favorite and specialty to be within!
 
I don't really do Fandom roleplays anymore, just not the phase I'm in currently, but they used to be all I did! My favorites back then were:

1.) The Legend of Zelda
2.)Vampire: The Masquerade
3.) Any and all fantasy games
4.) Fallout, specifically New Vegas for some reason?
