Seeking Jezelda (Evendur x Lord DreamCrusher)

For some reason, Misaki didn't find his assurance all that comforting, and went to take her anger out on the trees nearby. She stayed in her natural kitsune form, just wanting to be herself as she blew off steam. As much as she hated being restrained in her sleep, a large, warm bodybwas not a terrible thing to be shackled to. If only it jad a better personality. She did not know of what troubled her Alpha, though, it wasn't like she could help it if she did.

Miskai was moved into a half awake state as Draven got up to take care of his morning biological duties, thr ninja getting up to do the same elsewhere. She could tell something was bothering Draven, and if it kept him off her, she was all for it. The morning was cool and she hastily redressed, before the pair continued to the ruins of old Feldan.

The day managed to pass without any unnecessary hunts, and the pair managed to arrive at the outskirts, marked buy some burned corpses of houses, and hald a sign thay said "FEL". This matched Santus's description of the town, so now they just needed to find where the Black Veils had kept their treasure. The priest hadn't known exactly where, but advised that the old cathedral had been made from stone, so, it probably survived the fires the best.

His anxiety and frustration didn't lessen as they made it to the ruins without trouble. Of course he wanted to arrive here but the time was ticking down. Tonight it would be the full moon and he still had no sacrifice to offer his goddess. He'd hoped to encounter one of the dangerous species that were spoken of around her such as the lizardfolk, but so far they'd not had such luck. Draven was unsure if he'd get another chance to please Jezelda if he failed such a simple task tonight, but all he could do for the time being was to focus and stay alert. "Keep your eyes open. Let me know if you spot anything odd or suspicious. We'll check the temple first, expand our search from there as necessary."

Also a reminder that his scent will alert him within 30-60ft depending on wind conditions.

The abbey church's smooth stone floors have buckled and cracked as the building slowly collapsed. They are extremely uneven, with many bumps and cracks; running or charging across these floors is impossible.

A mound of old leaves, twigs, and bits of stone covers the floor in this circular chamber. Here and there, bits of crystal glitter in the debris— probably shards of glass from the chamber's
broken windows, which are now blacked by masses of ivy. Just to the right of the chamber's entrance, a closed stairwell with a stone spiral staircase leads up. Though it's dark here, light filtering down reveals the remains of a wood-and-plaster ceiling some 12 or 15 feet above the chamber floor. Beyond that, only stone walls are visible, rising a good bow shot up to a network of wooden rafters high above. The only apparent opening in the staircase (besides the one here on the ground floor) seems to be at a catwalk just below the beams.

As the pair enters and takes a look in the not collapsed tower, neither Draven nor his ninja notice the covered pit, and when he steps on it, the werewolf's foot goes right through the flimsy wood.

Reflex Save DC 20

Draven considered himself a rather perceptive individual. He was, after all, a skilled hunter and tracker who could secure kills from both creature and man in the forests he grew up in. Unfortunately his lack of familiarity with human construction meant that he wasn't paying attention to the weaknesses that he should have been, the burnt wood at his feet. As his foot broke through the planks he tried to quickly twist and reach out to grasp the edge, prevent himself from falling, but he was too surprised and caught off-guard to manage the maneuver with enough speed. To his credit, Draven did not shout or cry out with alarm to show any weakness, but he did grunt and growl as he fell through and did his best to brace for the coming impact.

Reflex Save: [1d20+10]=6+10=16, Failure (Actually should be -2 from that, not that it matters in this case. His Dex goes up when transformed but he's not currently in that state)

The hole is wide enough that Misaki finds her light feet under the collapsing lumber as well. The pair are off to a stellar start as they both fall 20ft, making a loud splash as they plummet into the 10ft deep water below. At the bottom, they can se corpses in various states of decay, indicating how long they've been in this place.

"Pllp...well, shit, how should we get out of here?" Misaki asked as she looked at the round walls that spanned the bottom of this tower.

Draven too took the time to spit out some of the rancid water that had gotten into his mouth and looked around as he tread water to keep himself afloat. "Good question." He wasn't blessed with the capability to climb sheer walls, however these were old and likely uneven with handholds along the way for a skilled individual. The attempt would be terribly difficult for most, especially with the water making the lower parts slick, however he had one major advantage that meant he just might be able to pull it off; his size when transformed.

Draven took a deep breath and let himself sink below the surface as he tapped into the power of his blood and transformed into his monstrous werewolf lord form, a form Misaki was more than familiar with at this point even if it was no less impressive. Once his shifting was complete he could all but stand up in the water, not quite of course be he neared ten feet in height while transformed so he wasn't taxed quite as much.

With his head above water again he extended his arms and legs outward to brace against the opposing walls but unfortunately he misjudged the size of the tower. Even enlarged he was still too small to reach from side to side, so he had to pause and think up a new plan. His yellow eyes turned sidelong to his omega as he considered, then moved to grab her.
"We'll see if this...grrr...works." With little warning he sunk down to plant his feet on the bottom of the pit and jumped up to clear his upper body from the water. In doing so he curled and tightened his generous muscles, literally throwing her up out of the pit as far and as accurate as he could manage.

"What the fuuuuuck?!" Misaki yelped in surprise as the thrower was turned projectile herself as Draven attempted to hit the fadeaway 3 at the buzzer. The ninja tucked herself into a ball mid-air and just cleared the edge of the pit. Her boots ensured that she landed on her feet, and then while she had thoughts of bolting and running, she was very worried the incensed werewolf would just pound his claws into the wall and carve handholds, and then kill her for trying to leave him to his death. She sighed and took out her rope, tying it around a pillar and tossing the rope down to the wet werewollf. "Ugh, it's gonna smell like wet dog..."

If she had attempted to run he would have just commanded her through the magic of her cage and forced her to return, he wasn't worried. Nevertheless he shook his head at her complaint and took the time to shift back into his human form solely for the fact that his added weight would likely have strained the rope. "You and I already smell like decomposing bodies." He retorted as he took the rope and began his ascent. Braced as he was with it there was little to no chance of him slipping and falling, it just took time to make his way out of the pit of the tower and join her back on the main floor.

Draven gave a small shake to clear some of the errant water clinging to his body, though light enough to not shower her in the process. He was accustomed to many things that the lesser races might consider gross or disgusting but rot and decay was not among them; he was visibly disgusted but with not much recourse at the moment to solve that problem.
"This would be the rare case in which I'd actually want to bathe. I doubt the treasure is down there, though if it is then I'm inclined to leave it be." He took a few moments to pour the contents of his waterskin over his head, hoping to wash away some of the foul liquid with the clean variety, then pointed to the staircase leading up. "You are lighter and more nimble. Check it out, quietly, and let me know what you see at the top."

Misaki nods and heads up the stairs.

This circular chamber is a collection of bare beams and rafters, with nothing but empty space below. An arcade of narrow, empty arches (each no wider than a human boy's shoulders) leaves the chamber open to the elements, as do a few holes in the roof here and there. One arch leads to a spiral staircase of rain-slick stone curving down. A rickety catwalk leads from the top of the spiral staircase to the chamber's center, where it ends in midair. Above the catwalk, farther up than a tall human can reach, is a structure of exceptionally heavy beams radiating out from a central hub like a colossal wagon wheel. Massive bronze hangers, green with age, adorn the spokes of the wheel. Chimes and small bells dangle from some of the hangers, but most are empty. Ivy growing on the tower's exterior has invaded this chamber, festooning the walls and beams with leafy green.

"Pretty tight up here..." The kitsune calls down, as she squeezes in and takes a step forward, before jumping back, as there is a crash, and a net falls into the pit below beside Draven. "There was another trap up here!" She explained, before two white, floating whisps of energy appear before her. "And two very menacing white balls!"

The two wisps attack Misaki. They both connect with the stunned ninja, electrocuting her. "Aagh! Fuck! They're attacking me!"

When she called down to him he shook his head in frustration. He needed to have a talk with her about what 'quietly' meant it would seem. Whether it was the activation of the trap or her own ineptitude that alerted her foes wasn't clear, though her alert to him of their attacks meant he needed to help her. "I said quietly! Why the fuck are you shouting to me? Gah!" So incensed as he was, Draven was slow on the uptake as he attempted to get up the stairs to follow her. He'd save his transformation for when he reached the upper floor so that he didn't have to squeeze, though he was painfully aware that the structure was quite possibly going to fail underneath his added weight in either of his werewolf forms.

Initiative: [1d20+5]=3+5=8

40ft movement to climb the stairs. If that gets him to the upper floor then he'll use a standard action to change into hybrid form. If not, then he'll double move to make it.

Misaki vanishes from sight, and for adjusts the 5ft to the side there is on the platform, and then, delivers a jumping kick to hit one of the wisps in the air, appearing with a start. Draven can see that the platform doesn't have enough room for his shapeshifted form, unless he is okay with knocking his Omega into the pit below. The entrance is also small enough that you would have to be under 3 feet tall to not have to squeeze through.

Swift Action to use Vanishing Trick with Shozuku
Misaki Stealth Check (=20 form VAnishing Trick) = 54
Wisp cannot roll that high.
Misaki attack (+2 for Inivisiblity) = 17 (Hit due to Flat-footed)[
Uanrmed Damage = 3 + Sneak attack = 19 = 22 damage (the wisp is still standing.)

Draven can make it up there in an action with his amount of movement. Feel free to attack if you wish.

"Shit, I can't fight like this." Noting the lack of space and the short entryway which meant his transformed state couldn't fit. "Pull back downstairs, see if these things follow. Otherwise I can't help you. I don't carry a weapon, I'm not built for enclosed spaces like this." With that he grit his teeth and moved back down the stairs, trusting that Misaki would either follow him like he commanded or she'd be fighting alone. How anyone could build structures like this and feel comfortable in them was beyond his understanding. He could understand the desire of the meek for protection behind thick walls but the lack of open space was where he couldn't comprehend. Once he got back down, Draven spent the time to transform where there was appropriate space and wait to see how this all would play out.

He has no weapon, he relies solely on transformation and natural attacks. He technically could try to punch them since he has Unarmed Combatant but, even if he hit, he'd only be doing 1d3+3 damage in his human form which is pretty pointless.

"Gee! Thanks!" She calls as he wusses out and retreats downstairs while the orbs attack her again. She manages to dodge the one she struck, and then gets hit by the other one.

She again uses the power of her garment to turn invisible and then pop up and attack again. Fairly well tazed and panting, she looks to dodge and retreat this time. "I think if I let it out of my sight, it'll disappear, and I don't want to get snuck up on." She calls down, taking this fight herself.

The wisp attacks again, managing a glancing blow.

Misaki continues her disappear and poof attacks, this time drawing her sword and seeing if that has an easier time killing it.

The wisp attacks and misses!

Misaki again vanishes from view for what she hopes will be the last time. She slices upward and catches the floating orb right in the center of mass.

Her blade cleaves it through, and ends the threat. The ninja returns down the stairs and panting, battle-worn, and with rather frizzy white hair from all the electricity. "I took care of them for you, Alpha." She said as she cleaned her blade off and sheathed it.

He had his arms crossed by the time she returned, clearly having been zapped more than once by the look of her hair and of course her admission only clarified that. Calmly he stepped forward to close the distance and reached out to her head, running his hand along the backside and gathering enough of her hair within his grip so that he could tug it back and force her to tilt her head upward. Draven used enough force to get his point across, certainly mild pain and discomfort, but this was to be a light chastisement so long as she didn't further provoke him.

"Congratulations, you didn't die to whatever those things were. However, if you disobey a direct order from me again like that then I'll make you wish you had." He waited a few breaths to let the words sink in before he clarified what this was supposed to be teaching her. "I expect you to exercise a certain measure of will and thought in most endeavors, a mindless omega would be a little use in any regard besides pleasure, but when I tell you to do something then you listen. If you have input then give it, ask for permission to change the plan, but don't forget that your life belongs to me and I will not be denied...understand?"

Misaki thought that at first she was getting reward pets from the werewolf, but it seemed that even when the kitsune succeeded, Draven would find a way to have fault with her carrying out her task well. "My apologies Alpha. When I got up there, they appeared out of nowhere, so I figured that like myself, they have an ability to turn invisible. I did not want to let them out of my sight to let them sneak up on us later. And since they seemed to attack with some sort of powerful shock, I doubted that your tough skin would have been stopping that the way it did my shuriken. Also, they were very difficult to land blows on. Had I not been able to disappear and surprise them, I don't know that I could have hit them reliably." The ninja replied, giving a more detailed explanation than she'd been able to give in the middle of the fight.

"It would have taken me too long to communicate that all to you and ask for permission to change the plan of luring them downstairs. I am used to being a disposable tool on missions for my employer. Please forgive me for not remembering I am endebted to you for something greater than gold coins." Misaki says, and would get down and prostrate herself before Draven if he allowed her to do so.

Her explanation did not please him even if he could understand the thought process. That said, her submissive turn as she spoke of her familiarity in being used as a disposable tool softened his snarl and, when she tried to pull away from him to move towards the floor, he allowed it and watched as she knelt before him and bent over completely to show her commitment to his will. "Your life has what value I assign it now, and it is not used for petty things such as gold. If you had failed to defeat them then you would be dead and would have accomplished nothing."

Draven lifted his right foot, clad in an armored boot, and placed it upon the top of her head to reinforce his control and dominance over her very being. He didn't push down with much force, this wasn't to inflict pain, but the weight and pressure would hopefully remind her that she belonged to him now. "You no longer exist for yourself. If I decide that you no longer hold value to me then I'll kill you myself and finish what you started at my camp when we met. In the future you will ask me for permission in deviating from my established commands and you will otherwise act as you think would best please me otherwise when I have not ordered you specifically. Again, you should have spoken your insight to me as best you were able. If indeed you had returned and they had disappeared then the responsibility would have been upon my shoulders, not yours. Speak when you have knowledge and insight, but do not disobey me again. I grow tired of reminding you of this lesson."

Far less brutal than he had otherwise been in the past, Draven shifted his foot off of her skull and gestured for her to rise from the floor. She'd shifted much more towards obedience already and he wasn't foolish enough to crack down hard when she only made minor errors. She survived, the enemies did not. Whether she got lucky or her skill was more than capable to handle them scarcely mattered in this instance but the speed in which she offered her apology helped ease the heat of his anger. Indeed he would have granted her the combat if she'd explained more clearly and asked his permission, hence in part why he was less upset in this case, but he still needed to enforce his will to ensure she didn't find him lax; that she didn't think it easy and acceptable to ignore his words.

Misaki's response were short "Yes Alpha"s as she was dressed down and again reminded that her life was his to take whenever he wished, until he either died or released her. And given the rate at which the full moon was approaching, he might choose to prematurely end their contract tonight. Not that the kitsune knew the reason behind her master's recent frantic nature. What could scare a 15ft tall werewolf that was built like a brick shithouse like Draven was? "Yes Alpha, thank you again for your continued patience with me. I will not disobey again." She answered into the floor, as he continued to hold her head down uncomfortable position for a little while longer.

They continued to explore the ruins, walking into a long, wide hallway supported by tall pillars. Some of the pillars have fallen though, due to large sinkholes in the floor. Draven and Misaki both notice some slimy footprints on the ground that seem relatively fresh, and they travel further into the building.

With his dominance re-established, and his rules made more clear, Draven didn't have anything further to say as he allowed her to stand up and for the exploration of the ruined structure to continue. For the moment this seemed to be more of a waste of time as the condition was terrible and nothing was being discovered, at least until they came upon notable and odd footprints. "Slimy, wet. Perhaps lizardfolk? Trolls wouldn't bother with the buildings I don't think, not large enough or in good enough condition to make good dens. I've never encountered either, though I've heard stories of trolls, so I doubt we'll be able to communicate. Be ready for a fight, and listen to my commands this time."

Following tracks would be no problem for him. In fact, his heightened sense of smell would help ensure that he found this individual without being ambushed themselves. Of course, he wasn't the only creature with a capable nose and he didn't know anything about the capabilities of the lizardmen to know if he had that edge or not. Nevertheless, he trusted his nostrils more than his eyes in this case as he moved to follow the trail. "Quietly if possible." He said in a low tone as he moved out to lead them, moving slowly and trying not to make too much noise though Misaki knew that stealth was far from the man's forte.

Welp, that's an amazing roll. I didn't expect much but not even breaking a 10 is always disappointing lol

Draven's nose smells something unnatural, and foul. Like wet fabric draped over rotting flesh. The smell only gets stronger as they press forward, toward the dais upon the altar at the end of the hallway. Fortunately for the werewolf, he spots their next foes before they spot the pair. There are 4 shambling creatures that look to be rotting humans wrapped in cloth, and covered in swampy muck.

The scent was foul, wrong, unnatural. Still, there was no point in leaving such creatures free to roam when they'd likely come to blows if spotted. It wouldn't do to show mercy to such things only to be punished for it later. Besides, these things elicited an instinctive response within the werewolf to kill. He didn't speak a word but his actions should prove to Misaki all too well what he was intending as he focused inward and transformed before her eyes, the uncomfortable and somewhat grotesque shift from man to beast that saw him grow to a form far more suited for battle. In seconds he was the hulking, muscular lycan that he so preferred to be and he snarled to signal his impending attack.

Misaki silently nods and understands, making some complex hand gestures and her form starts to distort and shift, looking like she was in several different places at once.

Misaki's Suprise Round is to Activate Acceleration of Form, getting Displacement and Haste for 4 rounds.
Misaki Intiative: 9
Mummy: 13

However, the shambling remains are onto their attackers and approach, closing the distance and getting into melee, but that is all they are able to do. As they approach, both Draven and Misaki are filled with a sense of despair and dread.

Four DC 16 will saves. If you fail you are paralyzed for 1 round.
Misaki fails and spends her turn being paralyzed.

Draven noted Misaki's fear, his animalistic nature allowed him to sense it in a way that the more civilized races could never hope to. For the moment he staved off the same reaction in the face of the abominations, however his will couldn't quite hold up in the face of so many of them at once as they approached and their features became clearer. The stench of death was not unfamiliar to him but the decay from these things was simply different to him for reasons he couldn't explain, forcing him too to freeze up momentarily as his yellow eyes darted between them and his body seemed to forget how to properly move.

The two adventurers spend their turns momentarily gripped by fear as their new foes get the chance to attack. Two attack each of them. Both of them connect with the large, paralyzed werewolf, an easy target when he can't defend himself.

In 1 minute, you will need to make a DC 18 Fortitude save.

Misaki is also beset by two of the swampy figures, they swing at her shifting form. One attack manages to still hit her, though her ninja magic does cause the other one to miss.

Damage = 14
Attack 4 = 26
50% Miss Chance = 88 (Miss)
In 1 minute, she will need to make a DC 16 Fortitude save.

Misaki gasps in pain as she comes out of her frozen stupor, and clutches her chest for a moment. The have been beset upon by some undead, and having lost the moment of surprise, she is at a severe disadvantage. Hopefully the trick that worked against the owlbears will work here. She invites them to take a swing at her. One does, but her accelerated reflexes easily dodge it, the second one connects, but her form flickers away instead of drawing blood. The bladed stars spawn in her hands as she throws a flurry into the first one she's duped.

Three shuriken are enough to take it out, so she turns the other 3 to the second one, hoping to take it out as well. All six of her frantic attacks do land, however, she is only able to fell one of them, though, she took some decent chunks out of her other opponent.

The blows were softened by the toughness of his hide but they still struck with enough force to harm him, something he didn't take lightly considering. By the sounds of it Misaki recovered before him so Draven opted to shake off the loss of vigor and focus on the ones attacking him as he lashed out with teeth and claws, hoping to focus one down and thin the tide much like his omega had accomplished.

Draven takes...15 damage after DR. He's immune to criticals while transformed so don't bother rolling confirmations unless you hit him while he's a human.
