Now, no matter what was going on, they were together. And eventually, Moirai convinced him to move in with her. She had a huge apartment, and she told him she was saving up for a house to buy with her stream money.
 
He felt a little bad, but he did it anyway, after promising to help with whatever bills she needed.
 
She smiled and took his hands, "If you wanna work and pitch in, then by all means...but I make enough that you don't have to. The thought that you even want to do that for us makes me really happy." Us. That made him tingle a little.
 
She smiled brightly and moved to cup his face, "Consider it done~" She cooed before kissing him gently.
 
"You guess?" She laughed softly, "Well, my mother used to say that a way to a man's heart was with carbs." She smiled before it suddenly faltered and she seemed sad, her eyes downcast for a moment before she forced a new smile, "I have a recipe for the cheesiest mac and cheese you'll ever eat in your life! We could do a fried chicken with it, or hot dogs, or burgers, whatever sounds good!"
 
He made a noise. "Well, maybe that mac and uhm.. shit I dunno chicken sounds fine.." he smiled as he pet her arm a bit.
 
She seemed nervous whenever things grew a little heated between them, always apologizing when she stopped it dead.
 
They were sharing lunch together, as they always did, in a comfortable silence, and the thought itched in the back of his mind again. Was she ace? Was she scared? Did she not to hurt his feelings? He couldn't figure it out.
