He sniffed, settling into the normalcy of it all to listen to Shoto and temporarily forget about the fight, about All Might, and just everything that was wearing him down lately. Talking to Shoto had that effect on him. He felt they could talk about anything and Katsuki could actually be invested and not worry about anything else.

He turned onto his side with a slight groan, willing himself to face his boyfriend even if it hurt his arm to do so. He just wanted to look at him, make Shoto the last thing he saw before he fell asleep. He couldn't guarantee that he'd be awake for the entire conversation but that was the beauty of being in a relationship and sleeping with your boyfriend. He'd just be there to wake up to the next morning.

"Hm..." Katsuki pouted. "Don't get anything that's bigger than me."

Todoroki snorted and reached out to draw his fingers down the side of his boyfriends face, just touching for the sake of touching. He could do that. He was allowed. He was the boyfriend.

"As if I could take anything bigger than you," he muttered. "The idea only even crossed my mind because you mentioned it that one night."

He stays quiet for a moment and the edges of his mouth quirk into a small smile. "She tried to convince me to at least go and buy condoms. I told her we already have some because it was better than trying to explain to my best friend that I'm a filthy whore who likes being filled with your cum."

How he manages to say it all with a straight face and not hiding is a real feat.

The casual sex talk sobered him up quick, and Katsuki even chuckled between his tired little sniffs. As if he could remain in a foul mood when Shoto was talking about sex. He was a hotblooded man through and through and wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth if the opportunity fell into his lap. Besides, he was thankful for the subject change.

He pulled Shoto closer by the waist, his arm protesting a bit but it was well worth having his boyfriend close.

"So did you?" he asked. "Buy anything. Or did you really not go in like a loser." Katsuki even grinned softly at that. The two hadn't used condoms since... well, the first few times they'd fucked. Once Katsuki had convinced Shoto to fuck without them, they hadn't gone back to that since. He still kept some around just in case they felt a little frisky in public, or somewhere that wasn't their dorm.

He knew what he was doing, changing the topic to something safe, something light hearted. It would put them both in a good mood before they drifted off, the heavy stuff had been there, and dealt with, there was no reason to linger on it.

He let himself be dragged closer and was thankful for the skin on skin contact. He'd used to sleep fully dressed, but that had changed, it was just easier not to bother. He still wore pants, mostly because it was getting colder.

"I really didn't go in," he grumbled, averting his gaze and resisting the desire to push his cold toes against his boyfriends leg, in case he jerked and hurt himself.

"Ehh," Katsuki deflated like that was the singlemost worst news he'd heard all day, even when compared to his fight with Deku and all. "You really are a loser." Even if his words were spoken in jest, he still couldn't conceal that slight look of disappointment on his face, like he'd really looked forward to Shoto bringing home something fun to play with next time.

"Go with me, then," he said. He'd never been to a sex shop himself but he was of age, and it honestly sounded like a fun venture to have as a couple.

At least then he could make sure Shoto picked out a decently sized toy, or something that wouldn't overshadow him in bed.

"Yeah?" He asked, but he figured he shouldn't be too surprised at the offer. They were out, after all, doing things together had become more and more common. Going to a sex shop seemed a little extreme but also ... why wouldn't he go with his boyfriend? If toys were something they were going to introduce into their sex life, they might as well do it together. "Okay, next time we're out then."

"If you find yourself alone with Mina, she's going to ask about our sex life," he warned. "It's become her new favorite topic."

Todoroki himself could barely talk about it with Bakugo. And he was the one he was having sex with, so he definitely wasn't going to talk about it with Mina. He'd thought about giving her details jus to make her uncomfortable and back off, but he actually figured she'd love that and just ask for more.

Katsuki made a face at that. He definitely didn't care about Pinky enough to give a damn whether or not she was invested in their sex life or not, but he tolerated her a bit easier because she was Shoto's best friend.

With the promise of that date on his mind now, Katsuki felt it was easier to sleep, and he did so with his arms wound around Shoto, pulling him into a snug embrace. If Shoto was on his side, things... felt okay. Like he wasn't so alone anymore.

It didn't take him long to fall asleep, his expression which was usually twisted with anger falling even.

For awhile he stayed up, just watching his boyfriend sleep, stroking his hair and wishing that maybe one day, things would be easier. He didn't get enough sleep that night, which left him sluggish through his classes, but he didn't really mind either. He felt like he'd been a good partner, and in a way, that was more important.

Midoriya looked worse for wear the next morning too, and those who knew their friends well shot concerned looks between the two of them, but no one said much. Todoroki asked him if he was okay, and when he got a small smile and a nod in return, he didn't push farther. The boys got in to see Recovery Girl just before lunch, and Todoroki sought out his boyfriend in the cafeteria.

"Christmas break is coming up," he mentioned as he sat across from him with a bowl of ramen. He hadn't really noticed the impending date himself until one of his professors had mentioned assigning a project over the two weak grace period. "What are we going to do?" After a moment to realize he'd said 'we' automatically like that, he corrected, "I mean, I'll probably stay on campus, but do you think you'll go home?"

There was no way he was staying with his father. If his siblings wanted to see him over the holiday they would work something out, but he'd much rather be at the dorm, away from the drama.

Even though the events last night had undoubtedly happened, Katsuki was surprisingly in a better mood than he should have been. It was all thanks to Shoto, of course. If it hadn't been for him, he probably would have been in a worse mood and the healing process at the infirmary would have taken much longer.

He spent the day with Kirishima. The two had a complicated relationship, with the redhead thinking that they were best friends and Katsuki just... tolerating him in the same space. Maybe this was what having a friend was like, and Katsuki just didn't know it. He only caught Kirishima up with a brief summary of what had happened, and Kirishima had mentioned how lucky he was to have someone that doting by his side.

When he was in the cafeteria, Shoto found him first. He was eating something non-spicy for once, just a bowl of udon for the cold weather.

Naturally, the thought of Christmas hadn't even come up until Shoto reminded him that it was close. A little too close. Usually, he spent Christmas with his family, but college allowed for more independence and he knew he didn't have to go home to stay if he didn't want to. That, and Katsuki speculated Shoto didn't want to go home to his family, or more specifically, to his father.

"Probably. For half a day," just so his mother didn't flip her shit. "I'll stay with you." What did couples do for Christmas, anyways? Their last Christmas had been spent apart, mostly because the two had been all kinds of flaky about spending holidays together. "We" had never been a priority. "I'm broke," he pointed out. "But we can go get some coffee, walk around Shibuya Square."

He hadn't known how much he didn't want Katsuki to go until he said he'd stay. He wouldn't have argued if his boyfriend wanted to see his family, but he supposed he'd been kind of nervous about being alone. It was an odd realization - he was very good at being alone normally.

They hadn't ever spent time together that didn't involve something else going on. They'd spent summer apart, and highschool had. Well. Been a mess. He wasn't sure what all that free time would look like, but he found himself looking forward to it anyway.

He hadn't expected to really do anything together, so he's surprised when Katsuki mentions it, but he smiles softly and nods a little. "I'd like that."

It sounded ... really nice.

"Would you um ... like to meet my mom, over break? We don't have to stay long, but I'd like to take her some Christmas Cake. She's always in a better mood in the winter." Something about the cold, he thought, or maybe the lights.

Katsuki didn't even mind the gossip around him. With Shoto, it was easy to tune himself out of whatever was happening around him and just focus on the moment.

Strangely content, Katsuki was mid-slurp of his noodles when Shoto invited him to meet his mom. "Yeah," he answered all too quickly. "I mean, yeah. I said I will, right?" If nothing, Katsuki was a man of his word.

He snatched a piece of the side dish on Shoto's tray. "Just tell me when," he said. "So I don't have you looking like that when we go." He pointed to the hickey he saw peeking out of Shoto's shirt with his chopsticks.

He reached a hand up to where Katsuki pointed and even though he couldn't see or feel it he knew exactly what was there. He blushed lightly, then huffed out a small laugh and nodded. "Yeah, okay."

He nudged Bakugo's foot with his under the table, it was as close as he could get to affection in public, and let a comfortable silence fall between them as they ate.

He felt like the night before had changed something. Maybe mended another bridge between them that they hadn't realized was broken. Maybe even though they'd decided to date, talked about having a professional and personal life together, they hadn't really felt they'd meant it until Katsuki had said Shoto was supposed to be on his side, and he'd agreed. Like suddenly their future together was a promise instead of just an idea they were shakily walking towards.

Was this what people who loved each other felt? Contentment and peace? He kind of liked it.

Like with every scenario, Katsuki couldn't help but make their game of footsie a competition and clamped Shoto's between his as if he had it in a lock.

"What do you want for Christmas?" he asked, scratching his neck a bit. He'd even asked Kirishima for suggestions but the redhead just seemed appalled that he wouldn't know enough about his own boyfriend to know himself. All Katsuki could think of was cold soba and things they could use in the bedroom which were not really appropriate for holiday cheer.

He couldn't afford anything expensive either, not if they didn't want to eat cafeteria food for the rest of the semester.

"Eh, I'll find you something in Shibuya Square. There has to be something you like," he mumbled, though looking at Shoto now, Katsuki thought he'd look really cute with a fluffy white scarf.

Shoto blinked at the question. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been given a Christmas present, outside of class exchanges which were usually just crafts they made for their friends and handed out. Actually ... he couldn't remember getting any of those either. He hadn't exactly made friends in highschool.

It had to have been before. Before the scar, before the hospital, before things had so drastically changed. He wasn't sure if he hadn't remembered that gift giving was a part of the holiday, or if he'd just expected them not to take part in it.

"That's very likely," he agreed, there would be lots of trinkets to buy, and he'd always kind of had a fondness for silly gifts that had no purpose other than a reminder of something that had made him happy. Which reminded him suddenly of the box of things he'd had from Katsuki from before, still shoved under the unused bottom bunk.

He made a mental reminder to ask Mina to go shopping. He wiggled his foot free to start another game but just ended with it locked back up again. He would have frowned, but he wasn't all that upset.

Katsuki finished his bowl of udon and glanced at his arm, which still had some light scarring but was healed overall. Recovery Girl had told him that the bruising was so deep that he would need some more time to heal naturally from that. He scowled and glanced to that mop of green hair across the cafeteria room.

Izuku looked to be in better spirits with Uraraka and Iida too. He and Katsuki had a brief talk in the morning when Katsuki had just pointed out things Deku was fucking up with his combat style. Mistakes that would cost him if he'd been battling a real villain.

He glanced back to Shoto and said. "I have one more class before I'm free," though he figured Shoto knew his schedule by now. "Wanna go to the mall tonight?"

Katsuki grinned. "Come on, I'll buy you dinner." He rarely got to say that and it kind of made him feel proud.

Shoto watched as his boyfriend look at his arm. He'd noticed the scarring, and figured there was probably still some pain under the healed skin. He'd run them a bath later, help rub the soreness out. He'd never thought he'd be the caretaker type but he didn't mind it. At least not for Katsuki.

He smiled and it quickly turned into a grin. "What, like a date?" He asked. Though walking around the mall would give him an excuse to window shop for what Katsuki might want for Christmas.

"Yeah, okay," he agreed. "I'm done for the day - pick me up at the library when you're out?"

Katsuki nearly choked on his water when Shoto teased and called it a date. It was one, but it still felt weird to acknowledge it so boldly in public. He wiped the water from his chin and huffed. "Yeah. A date. What else would it be, hanging out with a friend?" he snorted.

It felt strangely blissful and domestic just... picking up his boyfriend from the library. Kirishima was bummed that they couldn't work out together and that felt weird too. Having somewhere to be. Having someone to be with.

When he picked Shoto up, he felt a little sheepish, and tried not to let it show so much just how happy he was on the inside.

Once the two were at the mall, he glanced around briefly, then took Shoto's hand in his. Sure they were going to get some weird stares but Katsuki looked intimidating enough for the stupid ones to mind their own business.

"Damn, wish it was snowing," he said, glancing at the sun roof of the mall. It looked like they were getting ready for Christmas though, with all the holiday decorations. "Well, what do you think for dinner?" he grinned.

He spent his time in the library working on his class schedule for the next semester, seeing what to change from pro hero classes to be a better sidekick. There was a course outlined by Sir Nighteye that looked promising, more of a partnership program than one meant to place a student under a hero they could train with to become pros themselves. He made a list to go over with Bakugo later and put it in his pocket just in time to be picked up.

It was oddly ... nice. Waiting for someone. When his boyfriend came into view a small, barely-there smile crossed his face. He shoved his hands in his pockets to keep from holding one out to him, it was still a little too public for that, and fell into step with him on their way. He hadn't expected by the time they were actually at the mall that Katsuki would hold his hand instead. He looked at him shocked, blinked, then twined their fingers together and it felt normal. Too normal for the occasional glances they got. But Shoto figured his unapproachable expression and the energy that radiated off Katsuki that matched a junkyard dog did enough to keep people off their backs.

He glanced up at the sunroof himself and had to agree, but Christmas was already starting to appear in places. The weather would already get colder.

He had a couple of ideas for Christmas presents too. Not even just for his boyfriend, but for Mina and Midoriya too. He even found a little something to get Kirishima, to think him for the ice cream a few weeks back.

He perked up at the mention of dinner and asked hopefully, "Soba?"

Katsuki rolled his eyes, finding it insufferable but also adorable how Shoto always craved the same thing everyday. How he survived on a diet of soba was beyond him. "Come on, you eat that everyday!" he snorted, but his aggressive spats directed at Shoto always sounded more affectionate than anything.

"Fine," he said. "But I'm getting hot soba." It was his way of meeting in the middle because he couldn't really resist those pretty, odd-colored eyes anymore. Not as easily as he used to, at least.

He tugged his boyfriend protectively along, mostly window-shopping stores. Many of the mannequins were in the winter themed clothes now and Katsuki thought many of the outfits would look cute on Shoto. The tags on them, however, always made Katsuki flinch.

He shoved one hand into his pocket, the other arm leaving Shoto's to wrap around his shoulders instead, tugging him even closer.

"So, where's the sex shop?" he whispered against Shoto, pressing a cheeky kiss to his cheek.

Shoto smirked when he won. Soba had always been his favorite food, and it tasted a lot better from actual restaurants than the cafeteria. Somehow, he'd known that Katsuki would give into him anyway, it hadn't been much of a fight.

He leaned into his boyfriends side when his arm went around him, finding comfort in this small way that they could be together in public. From a distance they probably just looked like good friends, but on close inspection their vibe was definitely different.

That point was only made more obvious when Katsuki's words making him blush. But it was different with him that it had been with Mina. His stomach did an excited little flip as he changed the direction they were walking in to head further away from the center of activity.

The shop was in the corner, brick walled and dark enough that it clearly said Not For Children even before the 18+ sign came into view. He ducked inside, pulling Katsuki with him. There was no chime on the door, and the front displays were almost innocent looking clothing items, like giving anyone a chance to sneak back out before they made the decision to go deeper, where toys, condoms, lubes, anything and everything, were proudly waiting to be taken home.

Shoto made going into a sex shop feel like he was committing a damn crime with how sneaky he was being about it. Once inside the store though, it seemed a whole new world opened up. There were so many dicks everywhere that it was just... mind-boggling what sizes and shapes were possible.

He stood there in front of the display looking a bit lost, and honestly a bit intimidated by how many choices they had. "Shit," he chuckled softly.

There were even fleshlights of various colors, some resembling mouths, vaginas, and even assholes. Of course, Katsuki thought those were more up his alley, before he wandered into the BDSM aisle for collars, nipple clamps, things of that nature.

"Found something you like?" he smirked at his boyfriend, while he grabbed a thing of lube. They needed to stock up anyway since they blew through these so quick.

"I know," Shoto agreed when his boyfriend cursed. There was ... a lot. His face was red and he stuck to Katsuki like he might get lost if he wondered off. He tried to stick to the things he knew, but his gaze kept wandering.

He didn't realize how distracted he was until Katsuki actually asked him something, and he walked right into ... something very soft. His feet nearly tripped over themselves as he backed away from a pair of silicone tits he'd pressed his face right into. He turned so red then that he almost matched his hair.

"Oh my god," he whispered, shocked and almost a little scared. "I am so gay."

Katsuki screeched with laughter when Shoto walked face-first into a pair of silicon titties. He had no fucking idea what these were used for, but he still grabbed them anyway and squished them hard. He kind of missed touching them, since his boyfriend's pecs weren't exactly pillowy.

"Come on, let's go over here," he pulled Shoto's hand out of that aisle, though he made a mental note to come back to the BDSM aisle later for some of the accessories.

They headed into the dildo aisle, which was honestly so overwhelmingly diverse that Katsuki didn't know where to look. Instead of being embarrassed, though, Katsuki took the initiative by taking a vibrator off its display stand to test how the pink, blunt tip swirled and buzzed.

"Don't know what the hell you like," he said. "My dick can't do like, half the things these can." Seriously, how could he keep up when these toys had rotating beads and even a buzzing motor?

Shoto glared when Katsuki laughed and folded his arms over his chest as he watched him grab onto the things. He had to admit it was kind of aesthetically pleasing, but he wasn't ... he just didn't ... gay. He was very very gay.

He let himself be dragged away, but honestly there were so many options that he just plastered himself to his boyfriends back and watched warily over his shoulder as he selected something to test out. The store was fairly empty, any other patrons minding their own business, and whoever owned the place evidently leaving it up to the customers to approach if they needed help with anything.

"Um," he said softly. Some of the cases said things like 'clit and gspot stimulation', and looked a little scary if he was honest, so he focused more on other things. "I don't even know what i like."

All he knew for sure was that he liked Bakugo's dick and everything else besides his own fingers was ... new.

He thought about what it'd be like, playing alone, Katsuki watching him, and chewed thoughtfully on his bottom lip. "Maybe ... something smaller than you? So that once I'm really worked up ... I'll just .... really want you to finish me off."

"Yeah," Katsuki chuckled. Why was he getting so excited over this? "Okay." There was a heated blush across his cheeks but this kind of heat was more from arousal than embarrassment. "All of these are so damn big, though." Granted, he was thicker than most of them but it really raised the bar for men to pleasure women or men with these toys on the market.

Since Shoto looked like he might pass out from embarrassment, he handed him the water-based lube to carry, and scoured the shelves for something a little more compact, yet fun. Eventually, he found one that was baby blue, had a slight curve to it, and a bulbous tip perfect for rubbing at a G-spot, or in this case, the prostate.

He held it to his own crotch to eyeball the size comparison a little, and nodded in approval. "How about this one?" It even came with a baby blue egg vibrator as a set, and, well, that looked fun, too.

"And this," Katsuki grinned a little deviously as he picked up a spreader bar that had ankle-cuffs and wrist-cuffs attached to it from the BDSM aisle. There was even an entire rack of collars and leashes that Katsuki wondered if Shoto would be interested in.
