Raz was standing at the alter of the church, chuckling to himself at the looks the humans were giving him. They had their whole world turned upside down when they saw a demon walk into their place of sacred worship. When would they figure out that demons were just like any other species on the planet? That crosses didn't stop them and they they didn't spit fire? They were just stronger faster and smarter. And that was why he stood here today, wearing these uncomfortable fancy clothes. And they were very very uncomfortable. The stupid humans didn't even bother to cut a hole for his tail, which was now uncomfortably cramped in his pant leg.
He was tall and handsome, at least for humans. He was rather average by demon standards. But his dark black hair hung down nearly to his eyes, which were a piercing red and filled with a constant look of annoyance. His whole body was covered in tattoos in a strange language that no human knew. But they were meant to show him as royalty. Then the door opened and all of the crowd gasped. There was his bride...A stupid little human, even if she was pretty. It was all he could do to stay where he was, for the sake of his father's treaty.
