Zavodila (PoisonousIvee/Mr.Aznable)

The raid was getting closer and closer, and the training sessions were going well, but were getting faster. And running later.

She could hear the training guns and explosives late into the night, laying in her cot in the dark as she listened to him bark and hollar, finding it oddly soothing.

It was time. They were en route, in separate vehicles, on separate streets, all to avoid being found out. Edrick made a noise and doused a sweet lho stick on the heel of his boot before he clamped the helm down on his head. He stood in the chimera, and moved to take a peak out of the top hatch. They were close.

She sat in the Salamander, making sure she had enough medicae and their ammo was good before she recited a soft prayer to the machine spirits of the vehicles and weapons.

Edrick saw the salamander and made a noise, wishing that everyone would come back. Sadly, he knew not everyone would. Seconds crawled by, and soon the multilaser on the chimera opened up, and Edrick and his ad-hoc stormtroopers were bursting out and into the doors of the manufactorum, like a well oiled machine

When the Salamander stopped and everyone burst out into thr fray, Ellianor followed after them with her gamma pistol. She had no idea what could be hiding in there for them. She was almost too scared to find out.

She entered the manufactorum, her weapon ready, her mechanical eye scanning everything. She didn't know why she was so anxious, she had never been this way before. But she forced it down, finding strength in the Omnissiah's grace, knowing that no matter what, they would succeed.

The fighting was intense, and more than once, she heard the desperate call for a medic. Thankfully, she wasn't the combat medic. Also thankfully, she had an escort.

She was glad she made all that medicae, her gut twisting at the pained cries of the men. "Any word from the Commander...?" She asked gently, watching her servo skull as it went about taking more samples, clicking as it went.

The escort simply shook his head, still scanning around. "Vox silence during the raid. Headcount after." He said.

She nodded, "Understood.." She muttered, before lifting her gamma pistol and vaporizing a cultist who tried shrieking angrily at them. Her servo skull completed its task and they moved on, her eye still scanning the area.

The trooper behind her fired down a corridor, and hit another two cultist, blasting wide craters in their chests.

The escort was fine, but the cultists were dead. And soon enough, the gunfire was starting to dissipate.

She was surprised she didn't see any actual Tyranids, but she figured the planet would be much worse off if 'Nids were around. As they walked, she found bodies of cultists as well as Edrick's men and she frowned, wishing she could truly pray for them as a chaplain would. She could only offer soft gratitudes to them as she passed them, hoping they found peace at the Emperor's side.

Edrick was standing at the center of a circle of carnage, talking on the vox like nothing happened.

He looked around and took his helmet off. "Area secured.." he said. "Did you get the samples you needed?"
