She had to make things right. She moved into the village slowly, and as she walked, she felt eyes on her. Everyone was staring at her, in horror and in shock.
They chased her, throwing whatever they could find at her, and soon she began to tire. Blythe fed her too well, and while it was good, it was the worst possible time to be short of breath.
A white shimmer caught her eye, and when she looked back, Blythe was between her and the villagers, all nine of her tails fanned out behind her.
"W...Witch...!" They halted and coward before her as she glared down at them.
"Let those who wish to die remain, the others may flee." Blythe said, and every rabbit ran for their life. Blythe's tails turned into one and she turned sharply on Laura.
"Gods..." Blythe dropped to her knees and held Laura close, "I understand but please...please, I beg you, don't ever do that again..." She was shaking and Laura could hear she was starting to cry.
