Was this what Icarus had felt like? Oriane couldn't help but wonder. As he flew too close to the sun? Her wings, if she had them couldn't have been wax, like those of Icarus... The errant though made her smile into the kisses. She always ran hot, but as she and Sol kissed it felt like she burned. It was more than the touch of his lips upon hers that caused the rise in her body temperature. The curl of his hands at the nape of her neck and the swell of her hip, the nip along her lower lip... the way his tongue teased and danced with her own. There was also a small bubble of relief that if there was anything lacking from her end, Sol didn't seem to mind; her kisses in return were eager, if not slightly unsure. Small actions by him mirrored and changed a little. The nip to her lower lip had made Oriane gasp softly and she kept the action in the back of her mind. As he pulled back, she nipped his lower lip, toward the edge, careful of her fangs.

His compliment had Oriane's lashes lowering as she looked down blushing; he hadn't lost that talent, not that she had expected him too. Sol could make her blush it felt like, with very little effort. Though, along with her blush came a slow almost pleased smile. Slowly lifting her eyes she allowed the glow she felt to help her be brave, a small secret, likely already known by Sol, but too kind to question... "I am glad.." her voice despite her bravery was still shy. "Sorry.. but am I any good at it?" Her blush deepened and she bit her lower lip, eyes watching his. "Kissing.. I mean"

The answer was dragged out as the android returned with their drinks. Her face lifted to them and she smiled, pulling her glass towards her; happy on one hand for the interruption, for she was already embarrassed by her question and on the other nervous. She should know right? The answer was obvious? If he desired to kiss her, then he had to like it, right? "Never mind" Oriane said quickly, lifting her glass she took a sip, the effervescent bubbles tickling her nose pleasantly. His next comment had her squeaking and looking at him with wide eyes. "Sol!" Even as she exclaimed his name Orii couldn't help the smile and laugh that followed. More so, she wondered what it might be like to have someone hold her as she fell asleep; not someone, Sol... What it would feel like to have his arms around her, cuddling her close to his chest. Blushing deeply once more, she lifted her drink again and took another sip. The hand on his knee traced random little patterns against the fabric of his trousers with the tip of a nail.

"Okay" She agreed, biting her lower lip. "I know it's not my cube but.." Shifting slightly, Oriane pressed her back against his chest, her small form cuddling into his side. Her hand found his own and pulled it around her waist. "At least while we finish our drinks?" Her face tipped up and leaned to the side so she could see his face, her lips brushing the edge of his jaw. Orii didn't know how to broach the subject of holding her while they slept could be deadly for him; a part of her wondered if he was aware of the risk anyway, she slept in the cube, it was pretty clear as to why after the days events. For now she was content to snuggle into him, hand still on his knee, her head resting against his shoulder as she watched others dance, it might not have been what either of them would have desired more, but it was safer and Oriane still got the sense of what it could be like. "Do your kind often like to come to clubs?" Shifting along the bench, she snuggled in a fraction closer.

Drinks finished, the time stretched out slowly as the music played and couples and groups danced, Oriane eagerly let more than a little time pass before she pulled away; the movement was reluctant and it showed as each part of her body slowly separated. It was as if each place where they touched refused to allow the space without a fight. "We should go" She smiled, though it held a touch of sadness. She wasn't ready for the night to end and Orii's lips brushed the corner of his own. "Maman will worry..." Bellamere would be a good reason for the two of them to head home and honestly, Oriane felt like she needed a reason to not linger with him the world of dancing lights and stars for the rest of eternity.

Allowing him to slip from the booth, she followed. Her hand found his once more, her small fingers, slipping between his own, lacing them together. By the way they walked, it seemed clear to here that neither of them were in any rush to have the evening come to a close. Walking as they did they bumped together gently, each time, the brush of their bodies gentle and intentional. Their progress was slow and she looked up at him, a twinkle in her eyes. "Trust me?" the smile that curled on her lips was shy and inviting. Gently tugging him along Oriane smiled at him, her back towards where they were going her eyes on him. "It should be about the right time, I think!"

She never would see them coming.. her eyes for Sol and Sol alone, the excitement on her face lighting her up. It should be about sunrise on the planet near by and she knew the perfect place to watch the sun rise. "It's the most beautiful sight, I promise!"

Sol couldn't help but give Orii all of his attention. All of her little reactions to him just drove him wild with passion. Her heat rising, the gasps, her eagerness to return his affection. He smiled with every kiss and breathed deep through his nose, drawing more of her in as he consumed all of her offerings. Sol wasn't expecting the bite at his lip as he drew away, giving a soft gasp himself as he gave her hip a warm squeeze. Orii truly knew how to get under his skin and he could feel himself growing hot under the collar as they molded closer to each other.

As she responded to him and gave him a question of his own, Sol couldn't help but to smile. Was she serious? He wondered this as he was certain she'd been present for all the kissing they'd been doing. He assuredly wouldn't have been so desirous of her had she not been kissing him in the most pleasing ways. He paused as he considered how to respond, wondering if he should give her a playful or teasing answer. Her bashfulness made his heart flutter as he chuckled and shook his head softly.

Their drinks were brought and she began to have a sip as she told him he didn't need to answer. However, he didn't like leaving her without response so he replied, "Oriane, your kissing is incredible. You're very responsive in the best possible way." His tone proved genuine as he looked upon her with those blazing eyes of his. If she didn't know any better, she would think they were glowing as well as he held his gaze upon her. Truly a rapturous creature to have captivated him so thoroughly. Her hand on his knee elicited a slight push of his leg towards the touch, silently asking for more as he grinned.

Orii agreed to the cuddling, though not in a manner he had expected. She sidled closer to him in a way he found to be adorable. Moreover, she pressed her back against him sweetly and pulled his hand around her waist. Not that he wasn't already moving it there in the first place, she'd have noticed. His fingers immediately began to trace affectionate little shapes on her waist as he smiled broadly. "You don't even need to ask. I'm delighted to," he said as he leaned his head against hers softly and basked in her presence. His eyes occasionally took to the dance floor, looking at the people who continued to move to the rhythm of the music. Sol thought of how nice it would be to dance in a more intimate fashion with her, just the two of them or a smaller group of people, at the least. Her next question piqued him as he looked and gave a nod, "I guess so. My teacher loved to go and stated as much, saying it was a lot of fun to manipulate the lights. He wasn't wrong," he explained to her with a laugh, his arm squeezing around her waist to complete the closeness she was desiring. Another pull of his drink left the bottle empty as he placed it onto the table with a soft 'clink'.

Sol didn't say a word as he held onto Orii, appreciating the warmth and softness of her in his arm as he nestled closer into her. His comfort was apparent as he lazily stroked her waist with his fingertips, occasionally brushing her upper thighs with his strong fingers. She stretched and peeled herself away from him after a fashion and he almost grumbled with protest. "It is wise we return in a timely manner," he said with a warm grin and he returned the affectionate kiss to the corner of her own lips. "You need to work on your aim," he said playfully as he looked at her with mirth glinting in his eyes. Sol stretched his back with a groan as it popped before rising from the booth. It was almost comical how far his head pushed upwards as he stood and he reached a hand down to help her. The moment their hands met, she laced her fingers with his and he smiled. ~Feels like it's right where it belongs,~ he thought to himself gleefully as he began to walk slowly out of the club with her.

Their bodies crashed together playfully, a large grin splayed across his face as he stole glances at her each moment he could. She asked him if he trusted her and for a brief second, Sol considered it before nodding and bent down to kiss her on the forehead sweetly. "Of course, darling," he said before following with her tugging. She'd turned to face him, walking backwards as she seemed absolutely elated to show him something. They twisted through the path, people stepping aside for the couple as Sol's eyes focused on hers.

He hadn't noticed until the moment before the trigger was pulled. A man stepped out of the shadows, wearing a hooded cloak of deep ebony which obscured his face from view. His hand lifted and pointed a Merina Q-73 blaster pistol. Sol only had time for one action, screaming out, "Behind me!" as he pulled Orii in and shoved her body behind his as the trigger was pulled. A sharp, loud report echoed from the blaster as the laser diode discharged, sending a screaming bolt of charged particles straight into Sol's torso. He bit his lip to stifle the pain and she felt him release her hand as he drew both of his together and his stellar mote formed into that brilliant sword she'd seen once before. His fury was scathing, as if he'd not pulled her in she would have been struck by the blaster. Though, he suspected that this action was anticipated.

A smoldering hole was left in his clothing, a deep wound on his left shoulder. He watched as three other men stepped out and pointed the same variety of blaster weapon at him. Fuck, he really needed his armor right now. He had some resistance naturally to the shots but he wasn't certain he could take on four individuals on his own, especially not ones as outfitted and coordinated as they seemed to be. More blaster fire erupted as Sol spun his sword around, absorbing the bolts into the stellar weapon as he advanced forward hastily. "Stay there, Orii! I'll protect you," his voice was calm towards her but she could hear the aggression in his tone.

His aura flared around him, lighting him up like a beacon as he charged towards the man who shot first. Quick reflexes allowed the man to duck just barely underneath Sol's weapon. Surely, his head would have been severed cleanly from such a strike. Not wanting to risk losing the opportunity, the cloaked figure sneered and held his blaster up, point black and charged another shot straight into Sol's chest. Orii would see the blaster fire erupt from behind, piercing through him straight through where his left lung would be. Had it been any further to the left, Sol might have been killed instantly.

Instead, the solarian cried out furiously as his solar weapon's edges roared with energetic plasma and he cleaved downwards. As if he were warm butter, the man's body bisected easily from the powerful strike as the last breath he would have given just escaped through the vacuous space which had previously been where the middle of his body was. Each half fell independently of each other as Sol staggered, horribly hurt from the shot through the chest. He turned to face the others, who were beginning to close on him. Orii could see blood trickling from the gaping wound in his chest and from his mouth. However, he looked fearless and ready to keep fighting.

His teeth ground with resolve as he deflected more energy blasts from the trio's weapons, his hands shaking in shock from the immense pain. He never showed it. Orii would see him beginning to shine brighter and brighter as photonic energy built around him. His eyes slowly filled in with vibrant blue energy, crackling angrily in the air as the space around him began to steam and the air quivered with the immense heat Sol had begun producing. Undeterred, the three continued to swarm over Sol who seemed he may suffer yet another grievous injury if nothing was done to prevent it.

It was like in those old movies she'd seen on her tablet when she'd been a small girl, time around them seemed to slow down, almost freezing. Golden, adoring and indulgent eyes had lifted from her own and the look in them had changed. Oriane swore she could see the way they changed, the warmth in the melting into away; fear and anger taking it's place, hard and cold to contrast the warmth just there a microsecond ago... The voice was no doubt loud, as his face contorted anger and fear taking place there as well, was dimmed and sounded far off. Pulled behind him, Orii was confused, what was happening? Sol's body jerked, just slightly as the bolt of energy struck his shoulder. His hand left hers and Oriane frowned, the first sign of any emotion. "Sol?" His name was whispered as his blade appeared and men stepped forward, blasters drawn.

Oriane's eyes were fixed on Sol's shoulder, what looked like faint smoke drifting from from him. Had.. had he been shot?! Panic was slowly starting in the pit of her stomach. Blaster fire erupted, the sound some how sharp, dull and whining all at the the same time. Oriane's head had turned towards the sound, only to flip back towards Sol in horror. Was this because of her? Another layer of panic settling into her. Behind him, Orii began to slowly heat up, unaware as she gasped, hands over her mouth as he deflected the shots by merely absorbing them. A small part of here was aware of how skilled Sol was, but her mind was having trouble processing that; it was slowly being taken over by emotions that mirrored his own, anger, fear... panic. Sol's voice sounded so far off and she nodded, absently behind him. He'd be okay.. Sol was.. Sol. Some how that justification made sense. He had saved her once, twice now... he could do anything.

That panic and building anger that mingled with her panic surged through Oriane's body. She was hot. She didn't notice it, but her skin was beginning to steam. The hazy tendrils moving like they were alive as the heat built within her. Her chest rose and fell, the pace getting quicker as her panic rose in tandem. Each of her emotions fuel to the changes happening within her until the crescendo spiked within her.

Her eyes had not left him as he advanced on the man who had fired at them, wide and showing far too much pupil. She saw this jerk of his body as if she was just beside him, the blaster bolt hitting him squarely in the chest. "SOL" His name was screamed, fear and panic rising in a tidal wave followed by something new... Rage. Her skin had not begun to glow as it had rose in temperature, but this act was the final straw. Ruby locks slowly rose on a currant of air, dissolving in flames. Something far more primal rising to the surface within Oriane. Her eyes seemed to burn, flicks of color slipping past the the edges. Small hands burned with living flame clenched themselves into fists.

Locks of her 'hair' separated and rejoined, moving with fluid movement as it swirled above her head, crackling gently with energy. Steam still rose from her skin, as if whatever was within was struggling to be free. Her only goal was to get to Sol, rage still bubbling near the surface. The men were focused on the threat ahead of them, Sol, as his own energy crackled. Sol was deadly, there was no doubt, why would they look to the small female who had screamed his name? She was a target, but no one had any intel on her being dangerous. At most she was a healer, but there had been some question to that as well, no one one hundred percent sure what she was.

Dimly it registered that alarms were going off, some sort of station warning being broadcast across the speakers. A ball of fire formed in her hand, leaping from her hand to the nearest man. The fire seemed to have a mind of it's own, quickly spreading and growing hotter. The fire leapt to the next man in the line, behaving oddly. It never left the men, never spread as they tried to put the flames out. Slowly she moved to stand between Sol, her smaller frame before the last man. She wasn't nearly able to shield him, but it didn't seem like she needed to as a tongue of fire spread from her hand towards him like a snake.

The man's eyes went wide and he backed up, as if he thought to outrun the blaze... Above fine mist fell, like snow. The station thought it was on fire and was actively trying to put out the blaze. But how did one quench the anger of a small sun? Her flames stuttered slightly, going blue and white, but never going out. Voices could be heard behind them and she spun, eyes narrowing. Oriane could no longer tell friend from foe and someone was reaching out towards Sol. "No!" Hissing, the sound feline in nature, Orii backed towards Sol A ring of fire surrounding them. She'd allow no one close. Beyond her flaming circle, voices rose loudly, men screaming, warning bells. Anyone who tried to get closer to the pair was chased back by an arm of flames.

Sol hadn’t even registered the overhead warning that had begun to go off as the two began to smolder in tandem. Usually, his radiance wasn’t detected as anything but an anomaly, but two heat signatures, which spread as Orii flicked her hand out and unleashed the fires of her wrath upon the men who attacked her Sol, was another story. Sol’s eyes flicked over to her and he could hardly believe what he was seeing. Her body was steaming, hair and hands wreathed with fire as her hair seemed to dance as if the living embodiment of flame itself. Her eyes were glowing, not blue like his but a rich orange-red. Screams came from the men as they tried to douse the flames to no avail.

‘Warning -- Uncontained Blaze detected in Sector 37 Alpha. Releasing Fire Suppression Protocol.'

Sol’s eyes hadn’t left Oriane’s radiant figure for a few moments, now. She was captivatingly beautiful, as if she was an angel, full of fury and ready to smite those who trespassed. He was honored to have earned such a response from her and it made him smile through his wounds as the trail of crimson trickled down his chin and dripped. He watched as Orii closed in on him, a ring of fire separating the station from them and his vision had begun to haze slightly from the bloodloss. ~No...Push through it…~ he thought to himself as he kept vigilant, eyes scanning for any immediate threats.

Someone had reached for him and he hardly the time to register whether the hand was friendly or not before they were pushed away by the encroaching wall of scorching heat his darling was building. “Oriane…” his voice was saccharine and gentle, calling into her as he seemed to speak in a way that demanded her attention. His aura shone more brilliantly as his eyes brightened and he lifted his hands to cradle her head between his large palms. Thumbs caressed her cheeks as his fingertips dove into the living flames which had become her hair and she felt him stroking along her scalp. Seemingly, her fire hadn’t any effect on him. “Calm down, my sweet...No one will hurt us anymore,” he said with a charming smile, yet his teeth were stained with his own vital essence which made it a little more of a gruesome gesture than he’d anticipated.

One of the men seemed to still be living after the flames had begun wreaking their damage against them and crossed the threshold of the barrier she’d erected as if he were possessed. Drawing a thin, heinous blade from a thigh holster, he rushed towards the small female. Sol growled in aggravation and turned the two of them, allowing the blade to sink into the flesh of his back with a snarl. He felt the pulse of poison that entered him and Orii could feel his hands shaking against her. However, the tremble seemed to get faster than possible and she soon realized he wasn’t shaking but was vibrating with immense energy.

“YOU COWARD!” Sol screamed with rage as his body suddenly lit up like a star, a blastwave forming around him as the temperature of the air around them skyrocketed to temperatures close to that which would be found on the surface of a star. They were wrapped in an orb of plasma as the molecules in the air began to fuse around him from the immense heat he produces. ~Fire suppression protocol failure! Evacuation of Sector 37 Alpha by all civilian personnel is mandated! Evacuate immediately! Radiation levels reaching upper exposure limits! All personnel should evacuate immediately!~ the alarms began as the blade-wielding thug could barely manage a scream before being completely atomized and scattered like dust. Around Sol and Orii, the sphere of blue-white plasma that had formed rushed away from them in all directions, dissipating after a radius which almost equaled her wall of flame. Anyone outside the blast radius was blinded by the immense, star-like light which had suddenly taken shape before it vanished without any trace save for the glowing figure who stood in the middle of it. Those just on the cusp of the explosion was knocked off their feet by the rapid shockwave which propogated off of the metallic halls and echoed far and wide around the district.

People were screaming and fleeing as the show of power from these two individuals far exceeded what one would see in a normal day.

As the light faded from around him, Sol would be stark naked as his clothes had similarly atomized in the incredible blast of heat. His chiseled, rugged body was close to Orii’s as it became apparent why his body hair was blonde rather than black like on his head. After what seemed to be a supernova explosion, his long, black hair had bleached by the immense radiation into a golden, sandy blonde appearance which complimented his eyes rather well. Before too much time could pass, Sol had focused upon the stellar energy within him and made the both of them appear as though they were wreathed in light so as to give them some privacy in order to escape unperturbed by those who would leer.

Sol had already ordered replacement clothes for them, to be delivered via drone as he broadcast their location every 10 seconds via his implanted interface core. He seemed to be paying close attention to her, as he would have ordered the dress in her exact dimensions, as well as her undergarments. He wasn't quite certain as to her tastes, but he felt something of black lace would have been appropriate.

His wounds were still open, but weren't bleeding so profusely as he grinned at Orii. His eyes reflected his desire to protect her from everything, his face stoic and proud as he admired her. "Come, let's get to see what you wanted us to see...I ordered us some clothes but the drones won't come to an area under evacuation orders...I can keep this light up indefinitely, though. None should be able to look at us without being blinded," he said to her with a soft laugh, wincing slightly with the pain which arose from it. He was going to feel this in the morning, he was sure of it. She seemed to be protected from the damaging effects of his blinding light, as if he had somehow made it to where she'd been excluded from experiencing the full brunt of it.

As he allowed her to lead them away from this area and hopefully still away from the crowds, his breaths came in slow, ragged passes as his lung on one side had partially filled with blood and had been pierced through. With the addition of the poison, it was miraculous he hadn't fallen over dead already. Sol was slightly uneasy on his feet as well as his vision faded in and out of darkness, wavering and undulating in a way which would make lesser men sick to their stomachs. None of this was new to him, unfortunately, as his profession had made his life incredibly frought with danger.

Oriane turned at the sound of Sol's voice, though what looked at him through those flaming eyes wasn't the woman who had begun to send off a shower of sparks as she danced for him. It wasn't until his hands brushed against the inferno of her skin, slid along her cheeks towards her hair that the creature of fury and vengeance took pause. The flames within her gaze stuttered and molten gold, amber and red swirling within as she held his eyes. Her head leaned into his hands, and a soft sound purred through her throat, as his fingers brushed along her scalp. Slowly more of Orii shone through and she was once more who she'd been just ten minutes before. "Sol?" The sweetness of her voice trembled, unsure fear lingering at the edges; the sight of his teeth sending alarm through her, the memories flooding back. He'd been hurt, each small realization, memory that crashed over her, lowered the reaction that had sparked within her breast. Her hair fell slowly, silky and soft against his hands, the heavy weight of curls tangling with his hands. Her small body was still a furnace and the wall of flames did not vanish, as if whatever had risen within her, was not quite ready to fade away.

The growl had her face fill with confusion, a nanosecond before he spun her and then a snarl. Once more, the blade that was meant for her, much like the bullet sunk into his body. Heart racing she could feel the trembling of his body, but it wasn't like shock settling in. No, the fine vibrations getting stronger and Orii could feel the heat spike between them. Her blood sung at the warmth even as he shouted, the words melting underneath the heat. Her smaller form cuddled into his, like a cat finding a beam of sunlight, she basked in Sol's heat, eyes closing. The fire bird within her soul elated by the inferno Sol was raising. The energy and heat mingled against her skin, Oriane was dimly aware as her dress was vaporized, his own clothing following suit; her soft naked form still pressed close to his own muscled form. The heat and warmth had soaked into her very marrow, eyes slowly almost lazily opening to find Sol nude before her, his once dark hair a soft almost golden hue. It was that, rather than her own embarrassment at being similarly nude, or witnessing his own that caught her attention. A hand rose to his hair, fingers slipping though the pleasant new color. A quote from Tolkien coming to mind, she spoke it softly "A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer."

It wasn't until he mentioned clothes that she gave gasp. Swatting at him "Sol! Close your eyes!!" Pushing him gently ahead of her she looked around. The smoldering market was for the moment blissfully empty, though somewhat worse for the wear. There were no human eyes, but the functioning cameras could still see them. It wasn't as if he hadn't seen her naked, nor her him mostly nude, save for that thin suit he'd been wearing. It didn't seem to matter to Oriane, her eyes had closed seconds before she swatted him. Slowly she opened one eye and nodded, slowly. "You still keep your eyes closed!" Though her own took in not the grand lines of his body, for the moment, she wan unable to look away from the devastation that had been wrought along his flesh. Oriane refrained from saying anything, hand finding his own. Perhaps there would be other days to gaze upon him, wonder at the marvel that was the man before her... for now, however there was a goal in mind.

When Sol began to falter slightly she eased her pace, slowly taking him several decks lower. Oriane figured it had once been an observation deck for something, but long since had it been out of use. She'd found it one day by complete accident, on call to fix pipes near by... She'd stumbled into the room, trying to determine if the pipe would require further patching later on. The room she pulled him into was dark within, but the large bank of thick glass panes, layered one on another to protect them from the vacuum of space. "Open your eyes" Her voice was a soft whisper, from just behind him. Though the room had no lights, from outside light illuminated the darkness, shining over the plush benches. Over the normally blue and green ocean planet, one of the systems suns slowly rose over the curve of the planet. The surface slowly bleeding into red and yellow as the light ate across the world. "We would have been early."

Behind her she heard the soft buzz of a drone. Several neat packages were released and fell neatly into her hands. "Thank you" Oriane whispered to the drone and watched it leave. It wasn't hard to find the outfit meant for her. A dress of black lace, a sheath of red underneath that would form to the soft curves of her body and a pair of simple black lace panties. Pulling the panties on first she smiled softly, the attention to detail was sweet rather than creepy to her. The lines of the soft lace fitting to the swell of her ass snugly. The dress, much like the underwear was perfect, hugging the curves of her breasts, before sweeping inwards along her slender waist. It formed to her hips and thighs, ending just short of her finger tips. It was gorgeous, from the heart-shaped bodice of the maroon under dress to the black lace that lay over it, rising up around her neck, arms bare.

His clothes were laid to the side, and she stopped him before he could reach for them. "Is it all men, or is it just Solarians that are this stubborn? You can dress once I heal you" Oriane brushed a kiss to his shoulder and ordered in a firm tone "Sit" Once he had, she stood behind him, barely taller than he was sitting. At first, nothing seemed to happen and then much like the planet before him, Sol would feel warmth slowly grow over his skin, seeping from the surface within. The touch of flame, for that was what danced along his nude form, golden, bright hands of flame, shifting between that gold and blinding white, felt like her hands, tentatively brushing against him. That touch could even be felt within, unsettling as it was. Orii didn't rush, slowly taking her time to heal every injury she could find.. It was more that just cauterizing wounds, Oriane healed him in truth. The hole within his chest slowly filling and knitting back together, the blood within his lung burned away as was the poison. Her power also seemed to notice old wounds too, the tips of her fingers seemingly brushed over them tenderly, but leaving them be. She could have healed them, but they had long since been a part of Sol.

Swaying behind him as her healing came to an end, Oriane, drained from not only healing him, but her fiery outburst felt unsteady on her feet. "I... I cannot replace the blood you lost" her voice was fainter as grasped his shoulders, fearful she might collapse. Oriane's voice sounded stranger, thicker as if she was wading through honey "N..ot en..tirely, from what I.. Un..derstan..d. I en..coura...." The grasp on his shoulders loosened, the tips of her fingers the last to lose contact with Sol as she fell sideways, red hair streaming behind her in a ribbon of color as she collapsed.

Sol had registered her naked form pressing into his; soft skin, sensual curves, and desirable warmth. He pressed back, enjoying the absence of space between them as he radiated with power, though it was quickly dissipating. Had the situation been different, he would have been struggling to keep himself from jumping her. However, his blood loss meant that his functionality was minimal at best and the poison coursing through what was left made him dizzier than he'd been in a long while. He smiled softly as she reached up to stroke through his golden locks, his hair shimmering with highlights as she did. Her quote made him chuckle softly and he shook his head a little bit, "I suppose I'm the sun in this situation?" he asked amusedly as his eyes faded back to their molten golden color as he looked down at her. She ordered him to close his eyes, however, he'd already started appraising her from head to toe. He bit his lip and silently wished the circumstances were different so that he might better appreciate her loveliness. Deliberate and slowly, he closed his eyes with a grin spread over her face. He made it obvious he didn't wish to stop looking and he shifted from one foot to the other as a manner of keeping himself from outright passing out from the pain and blood loss. His musculature was firm and tense, some muscles still twitching softly just under the surface with anticipation of more conflict. "Yes, ma'am," he replied playfully to her demand that he closed his eyes. It wouldn't stop him from peeking. His body was still debating between fight and rest as she reached out to find his hand. She felt him twitch in her grip, a defensive reaction being in the mode as he was but, swiftly enough, he began to melt into a more relaxed state as she held onto him.

Appraising his wounds, she'd see the fresh burns over his flesh from the few blaster bolts which had made their way to him. A hole punched through his left pectoral muscle, straight into his lung and exiting in a slightly smaller wound in his back. A faint hint of light bled through the gaping wound and, joining the bleeding of his back, the slit where he'd been stabbed near his kidney. Such a stab would have found Orii's chest for certain, a thought which continued to frustrate the bounty hunter. If she appraised further, his long, musclebound legs showed a few scars and some interesting markings on his right which looked unfamiliar to her. Dangling betwixt, his masculinity was enough that he'd earned quite a bit of jealousy in his youth when team building sports and physical exercises required the young men to all gather and wash together. Such an ancient practice in human society, seen as a bonding experience to elicit trust. Frequently, though, it just ended with a lot of mischief and taunting.

Luckily, the paths they took seemed sparsely populated and yet, Sol continued to emanate the bright light which obscured them from the others. His solar companion was orbiting his head slowly, its output diminished as a result of the Solarian having expended such a great deal of energy in the battle. Sol opened one eye occasionally, not only to check where they were (not that he knew anyway) but to also glance at the way her body moved as she walked, how her hips sashayed with each step. Her form was elegant and attractive and assuredly deserving of more of a response than his broken body was able to provide. He silently cursed each moment that he wasn't drinking in her beauty.

Without meaning to, he slowed their progress enough that when they arrived at the darkened room, she whispered to him and his golden eyes opened to take in the resplendent wonder which unfolded before him. "Absolutely astounding...It's a shame we arrived too late to watch it rise. Another day, perhaps," he said sweetly, a promise of a date to come. He'd heard the drone buzz in and muttered under his breath, almost seeming as though he protested its prodigious arrival. Sol, gazing at the planet before him, found himself craving to watch her as he turned to witness her dressing. Everything fit just so, accentuating the lovely figure he'd been spending so much time admiring. Orii seemed pleased with his choice and it looked positively stunning on her. ~If looks could kill,~ he thought with a grin. Sol's breath caught as she finished dressing and looked at him with those lovely eyes of hers.

He'd begun to reach for the clothes when she chastised him for it and he gave a soft chuckle as he looked at her with slightly narrowed eyes and a mischievous gleam. "I'm happy to remain naked for as long as you wish to look, lovely," his voice was teasing and yet genuine, certainly unashamed of himself as he shivered softly to the gentle brush of her lips on his shoulder. Slowly, he knelt at first and then settled fully onto the ground, legs crossed in a meditative fashion as Orii moved behind him. His eyes closed as he felt the pleasant, soothing warmth beginning to flow over him, and even into him as if intangible fingers reached in to stitch the wounds he'd suffered. He sighed with appreciation, feeling the blood emptying from his lungs and he was finally able to draw a full breath. His head began clearing as the poison boiled away in his veins and just stopping the blood loss seemed to bring back most of his vitality. Her gentle touch elicited soft groans from the large man, his body subconsciously pressing closer to her fingers.

Orii began to wane as her convalescence of his injured self was nearly complete. He heard her speech which slowed and disrupted as she loosened her grip and began collapsing. "Oriane!" he exclaimed and Sol's arm shot out to cradle her waist as his body rotated a little too quickly for comfort to counter her descent. His other arm joined to keep her from falling back any further, not wanting her to hit her head on the dense cermet tile underneath their feet. Slightly dizzied from the motion, he held the girl from the ground with ease as he shifted and slowly rose. He held her in his arms as one might carry a bride, cradled close and swooped in an affectionate, protective manner as he found one of the padded benches to place her on. After ensuring she still drew breath, Sol walked over to the clothes and began to pull them on slowly. The clothes fit him well, complimenting his figure while leaving him a comfortable amount of room to move about in. Looking to the unconscious Orii, he bit his lip and frowned as his golden eyes swam with concern and worry.

He moved aside her with haste and then slowly and carefully lifted her into his strong arms. Cradling her to his abdomen, he began to carry her back home. One arm held under her legs and his hand gripped her thigh comfortingly. The other cradled under her shoulders, with one of her arms up over his and his fingers gently, sweetly traced her shoulder as he used his intraocular HUD to display the quickest path back to the elevators which would take them home. He considered how long she might be unconscious for, feeling a bit guilty for taking so much of her energy. "I'll take care of you. Don't you worry about a thing, love," he spoke in a hushed tone, his protectiveness rising to the surface as he carried her. As they reached the lifts together, he saw the crowds had lessened quite a bit. Likely, people evacuated home after hearing of the lethal fight occurring in the space station. Sol was certain that station authorities would be coming to interview him about the occurrence, though it was pretty apparent what had happened since there were cameras all over the station.

He stepped into the lift and requested to be taken back to The Spine, taking a deep breath as he looked down at Orii's petite frame in his grasp. His body began to radiate heat once again and his aura began to roar to life within the lift. He'd lost quite a bit of blood in the fight and she'd not been able to replace it. However, he did have a little healing capability of his own and his body shimmered with the mystical forces which he influenced to manifest his power. Such an ability was nowhere near the complete restoration she was capable of. It felt almost electric as the energy tingled his skin, color returning to him more earnestly as his blood pressure normalized. Once again, he was hot against her and blood thundered in his veins once again as he looked at her adoringly.

As he exited into The Spine, his eyes darted around cautiously as the streets here had also been emptied of most traffic. It seemed that, for the most part, folks here either adhered to a schedule or practiced a very secure protocol in the event of a significant conflict on station. He carried her home and opened the door, being as quiet as possible in the hopes that Bellamere was asleep and wouldn't be disturbed by their arrival.

The world had gone dim at the edges and just before she fainted Orii had known she would. Her lips had formed his name, but her voice never left her as darkness claimed her. The last real thing that Oriane had been aware of was her own name from his own lips, and the feeling of arms catching her, slowing her decent. Darkness claimed her seconds later. If within that deep dark place, thoughts existed, Orii would have been annoyed at passing out twice in a single day, once had been bad enough. The time passed with in the dark as it always did, in the blink of an eye, even though she'd been out for far longer. Sol had dressed and carried her, cradled against his chest out of her secret place and they had entered the lift before she began to wake.

Warmth, quiet strength. The first things that drifted through her mind and as the darkness tugged at her, unwilling to release her just yet, Orinae curled into Sol. One small hand moved to his chest fingers curling in the deep grey of his shirt. Her cheek nuzzled into his shoulder, a soft sound passing through her lips, a sigh of noise, deeply content in tone. Several strong, even heartbeats later, Orii shifted in his arms once more, fighting the siren's call of blackness; lashes flickered and blearily slid open slowly. A frown pulled at the fullness her mouth, and furrowed between her brows.. The nuzzle of her cheek against his chest was repeated as the tiny female took stock of where she was. There was a rhythmic swaying movement, each step smooth and sure. The spine passed by, at a leisurely gait. Moving, she was moving. Slowly she came aware of of the hand at the bend of her knee, and just to the side of her breast. She didn't need to look up to know whom carried her, but she did anyway. Tipping her head up, she found the strong profile Sol and she smiled softly. Her voice was still thick like honey as she spoke, though it held her smile in it's tone. "We need to stop meeting like this" She had no doubt, the first time she'd passed out she'd be carried by him as well... Blush slowly pooled in her cheeks and she shifted slightly, head falling back to his chest.

Oriane was sure she could have walked, though perhaps not without assistance. However, she saw no reason to bring this up; content within the cradle of his arms, smell and warmth. Another gentle nuzzle against his shoulder, unable to help the small movement of her head. "Are you feeling better?" The thought coming back to her, perhaps.. she should walk on her own, rather than have him carry her. "I could probably walk..." The offer needed to be made, but she hoped, selfishly he'd decline to release her. Sol's arms tightened around her in response and she smiled. The small squeeze alone however was not the only response, as she was lifted higher in his arms, a kiss pressed to her lips. Why was it when he kissed her, she felt like time stood still? Or that she seemed to forget everything else? Lowered, a bemused smile on her lips, Orii nodded in to his words, blushing as she cuddled into his chest further. "Okay" The one word held a wealth of emotions within. Content, elation, and budding emotions she was slowly allowing herself to feel for the man who carried her with such gentleness; the man who had twisted in goddess only knows what sort of way to catch her, that dreamy hlaf remembered memory coming back to her. Comfortable silence slowly enveloped them, her hands still twisted into his shirt, as her heavy lids drifted half closed.

The door of her home came into view, and with dexterous ease, Sol slid the door opened. The heavy door swung inwards without a sound, the well oiled hinges making the task easier. Within was silent, save for the soft snoring of Bellamere. Giggling softly she shifted within his arms. "I am glad maman is asleep, having to explain any of this would worry her..." Her hand released his shirt, slowly rising to cradle his jaw within her palm. When Sol's face turned towards her she leaned up pressing a kiss to his lips, lingering with the gentle kiss for a moment. "Thank you" Relaxing once more she motioned towards the chair. "Could I trouble you for a glass of water?" Her voice was a soft whisper still, as it had been since they'd entered the dwelling. Oriane wanted to talk to him, about what was happening.. to figure something else out, if she was going to be attacked multiple times a day, something would need to be done. He couldn't babysit her 24/7.

The request however seemed like it would go unanswered due to a sharp knock on the door. Frowning her eyes shifted away from the main door and towards the one which held Bellamere, deep within her dreams. "Come in" Her voice lifted a fraction and as it opened she kissed Sol's shoulder. "Put me down?" If the visitor was hostile, and she wasn't willing to discount the possibility after how their evening had changed, he'd need to be able to fight. If whoever was on the other side wasn't trying to kill them, she wanted to be on her own two feet, to talk with them. Station security was the most logical guess as to who would knock and with such authority. Sol seemed reluctant still to settle her to her feet, but did as she asked. She felt her bare feet on the cool concrete seconds before the door reviled who was calling. Even on her feet, she didn't push away from Sol, rather she leaned her back against his chest, her body still wary from the days activities and much like before, any of the numerous times before, she was hesitant to put distance between them, or more so unwilling to do so unless required.

Lieutenant Avana Drex stood within the door way. Oriane knew she could be lovely, she'd seen her dressed up for some event on the station when she'd first arrived. Normally however, she looked like she did now. Though at the moment. Lieutenant Drex's face looked severe, anger causing the elegant lines to settle into place sharply. Her blonde hair was long and as usual braided down her back tightly. Her uniform was impeccable, orderly; Oriane hadn't had much interactions with the woman over all, but she knew her appearance was very much a manifestation of how she liked things running on her station. Her chocolate brown eyes were not friendly as she took them both in. "I feel like I should have known better than to expect no trouble from a bounty hunter, but Ms. Desoleile?" Oriane's smile that had been slowly forming on her lips faltered. Bounty hunter?

Turning Oriane frowned up at him. Bounty hunter, the title echoing in her ears and mind. She didn't step away, but there was confusion on her face and something close to hurt. "Sol.. Why were you in The Spine?" There was a feeling within her breast, like her heart was being squeezed. The men had been after her... Her eyes blurred with tears. Had he been as well? Was... Was he still? Lieutenant Drex all but forgotten behind her, once more it was just she and Sol in her world. Edges of Oriane's face crumbled slightly as she fought back the tears that threatened to fall. Had this all been a lie? Had Oriane been thinking clearly, not drained from healing him, or herself, or the defense of him... she might have taken into account if he was still after her, for she was sure a contract was why he'd been in The Spine, that he'd had many chances to kill her, capture her; reason however had fled. A single tear broke past the prison of her lashes and tracked a wet, glistening trail down her pale cheek. "Sol?"

As Orii roused in his arms, a relieved smile spread over Sol’s face. He’d obviously been concerned as he’d seen what happened the last time she’d lost consciousness. Her affections were met with gentle, pleasant caresses of her skin via his fingers on both her shoulder and knee. His heartbeat was strong and resounding, showing his obstinance in the face of injury and death. “We certainly do, sweet thing,” he replied, the relief becoming more apparent in the tone of his voice. Her head found his firm chest again and Sol welcomed the sensation with a deep, drawn sigh. He instinctively drew her closer towards him as she nestled into him, his smile deepening as the soft lines on his face became more apparent with the emote.

Sol was certain Orii could have gone the rest of the way on her two feet, but he used any excuse he could to maintain their closeness. Her sweetness made him want to melt as she repeatedly nestled her head against his shoulder. ~I have to protect her, no matter the consequence,~ he thought as his eyes smoldered with affection as he glanced at her occasionally. Her question was met with a nod as he smiled brightly at her. “Much better, thanks to you, lovely girl,” his words were as genuine as they could be. Her suggestion to walk made him balk a little as he shook his head and gave her a soft squeeze. However, unsatisfied with the gesture, he lifted her up as easily as he’d done any other time and kissed her sweetly. He had to pause in his steps for fear of losing his balance as the girl had a knack for robbing his legs of strength sometimes. His heartbeat sped after the affection as Orii settled into her rightful place against him.

Sol was content in the silence, allowing her the opportunity to rest as they made their way home. He heard the soft snoring of Bellamere and an audible sigh of relief left him. He’d have a hard time explaining away how they’d needed to change clothes after going dancing. Orii pulled him from his thoughts, though, brushing his jawline and commanding his attention with the simple gesture. As he turned, the girl met him with a soft, gentle kiss. That was the first time she’d initiated, right? The thought elated him as he kissed her in the same lingering, romantic fashion. “I would do it over and over again, darling,” his voice was quiet as well, though his passionate tone couldn’t be more obvious. Sol had placed her in the chair as she desired and her question had his head pivot towards the kitchen area as he had only just begun to release her from his grasp. However, he’d stopped as a knock suddenly broke through the brief silence and he nearly gritted his teeth in frustration. Couldn’t they have a moment of peace?

Orii suggested he put her down and he agreed that if there were someone hostile, it’d be best if he were prepared. His stellar mote flickered energetically, though fainter than it had been previously. He was apparently exhausted after this day’s ordeals. It wasn’t completely visible, but dark circles were starting to form under his eyes. However, Sol had the suspicion that station security was coming to pay them a visit considering the events which had surrounded them today. As Orii found her footing, she leaned against him, and his arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her protectively closer. Sol was radiating heat still and the only concern in his mind was protecting Orii again if needed.

However, the door opened to reveal the Lieutenant which he’d spoken with before, who’d handled the investigation following the earlier raucous discord. Her face was pulled into an aggressive state and this set Sol on edge as he anticipated trouble for himself. His anticipations proved correct as she unwittingly revealed what Sol had been ordered not to disclose by Bellamere. His face fell into a mix of sullen frustration and guilt as Oriane frowned up towards him and he closed his eyes slowly with a sigh. Gods damn it, Lieutenant! Bellamere didn’t want her to know,” Sol snapped with a growl as his eyes opened fiercely, glaring at Drex with intensity as the star rippled with flares and activity as Sol’s emotional state became imbalanced.

“Alright, so...I was contacted on my way into the Station by a Dr. Tremarus Stryke offering me a bounty of 325,000 credits to eliminate a deadly alien threat,” he began, looking at Orii with mournful eyes for the brief part he’d played on the attempts on her life. “He lied to me,” his words were filled with the sound of a man betrayed, frustrated and scornful as angry tears welled in his fierce, golden hues. “He lied to me in order to try and end this angel.” Sol pulled up the email which he’d been sent, along with the contact information and Sol’s colorful reply to Tremarus once he’d learned the truth. There were very graphic details explaining exactly how his insides would become his outsides if Sol ever found him. He displayed all of this on a holographic projector that emanated from a spot beneath his wrist for both or either of them to read. “I’m going to kill him, Lieutenant Drex. And the station guard had better let me do it. I’ll kill every one of them that comes after her. I won’t wait for you to do this. Station is always bureaucratic and slow and I will not have this sweet girl further tainted by repeated attempts on her life,” his tone was darkening, the star dimming before shifting into a black hole as it spiraled around Sol’s head. “I will consume each of their lives for even dreaming of harming Orii,” his voice had grown protective and he reached up towards Orii’s face to brush her tears away.

Tears. Suddenly, Sol’s expression softened as the star erupted into its blue-white brilliance once more and he squeezed Orii towards him reassuringly with one arm. “I’m so sorry. For not telling you and for coming to remove you in the first place. Had I known who you truly were...I don’t kill innocents,” he supplicated her and he then looked at the Lieutenant. Surely, she could back him up on that. Bounty hunters had a public record that could be accessed from just about anywhere and updated on a weekly basis. Bounties were exclusively commissioned through legal means, even if the person on the receiving end of the bounty hadn’t committed any crimes. Sol had never taken a single bounty which had an innocent’s life tied to it, integrity which he’d vowed to never break. He was shaking with emotion, yet one held precedence overall which was the gnawing feeling of heartbreak he’d felt from her forlorn expression. There was a lump in his throat and it hurt to breathe for each moment Orii felt that stricken pain which perverted her cheerful disposition.

The confusion gave way to anger, both at him and Bellamere; this shouldn't have been hidden from her, she wasn't a child! Though, the anger left her system fast though, the was no doubt that it had been their as her eyes flashed, changing from her normal sea glass colored eyes to liquid gold. It almost looked like a trick of the light, perhaps due to the tears, for it faded quickly. Sol was absolutely furious that the Doctor had tried to use him for a nefarious purpose. Trembling breath left her lips in a small huff as she exhaled, eyes still on Sol's face. The fury within his words, the threat of his revenge on the man who was deadset on killing her... Scared and reassured her in equal measure. Her face turned into the warmth of his hand, tot he fingers seeking to brush her tears away. Pulled into him she nodded and for just a moment, she was stiff in his arms. Relaxing slowly Oriane gave a small shake of her head.

"You should have told me... But it's okay" The words were muffled against his chest and her arms slipped around his waist, hugging him close. Common sense broke through he pain and panic as quickly as the other two had rushed in. Orii may not have know the man she hugged for long, not even a full day... but she felt like that didn't matter; she knew him and she was learning his heart... At least she felt like she was. Sniffling back the remanding tears she turned once more in his arms. This time however Oriane rested int he crook of his arm, head on his chest, needing the closeness more now. Slowly her eyes found The Lieutenant once more. Lieutenant Drax watched the two and her face softened. Avana had heard of Oriane, knew of some of the trouble she'd stirred up with the Doctors... They had come to her, but Oriane hadn't been breaking laws. Beyond that, she'd looked into her a bit more, finding nothing but a hard working and by all appearances sweet girl. The Solarian seemed to share this feeling and though he'd been on the station less than twenty-four hours, the two were clearly very close. Covering her smile with a cough she nodded. "He is telling the truth, there was nothing in his records that indicated anything else." Her wording was careful, but it was clear she was trying to be helpful.

"Now, we will talk about Doctor Stryke in a moment, first however, lets talk about the reason I came." A hand rose and the Lieutenant rubbed the bridge of her nose. "I have seen the security cameras, I can tell that it was self defense and I also now have a pretty good idea as to why you were attacked. I have other questions, pertaining to the safety of the station. Such as Ms. Desoleile setting herself on fire..." She Looked at Oriane and then to Sol "Or the blast of radiation..." Her voice was weary and Oriane blinked. Stepping away from Sol, just slightly she motioned to the chairs around the table. "Please sit Lieutenant" When Avana hesitated Orii smiled softly. "Please, I will make some coffee?" The offer of coffee was enough to entice her away from the door and to take a chair. Pulling herself away from Sol she nodded to a chair. "Sit, I can make it" She offered him a soft smile.

Stepping away to leave Sol to explain at least his part, Oriane began the process of making coffee. The question posed to her he was far more tricky and she needed time to think of what she'd tell them. There was distinct problems with not knowing what she was. Course ground coffee was placed in a filter, the scent of the coffee perfuming the air, bitter and dark. Humming softly she began to boil the water needed before pulling out three tall glasses. With all of her movements, Oriane was graceful as she spun from cupboard to fridge to the small little pantry to pull out a can of condensed milk. An inch or so of the thick, pale caramel condensed milk was poured into each glass, then ice was added. Kettle boiling she pulled it from the heat and poured the hot water over the grounds, lifting and lowering the kettle as she poured, the motions practiced and fluid; from the filter, dark coffee percolated through slowly, filling the pitcher. Once it was done she pour the hot coffee over the ice and condensed milk, a long spoon to added to each glass. Lieutenant was offered the fist glass "Thank you Ms. Desoleile" Orii smiled softly. "Oriane, please." "Alright, then please call me Avana" Avana smiled in return, relaxing and charmed in equal measure. The second glass was offered to Sol before she came over with her own, stirring until her coffee was a solid caramel color; it took a little bit off effort to melt the condensed milk with the heat of the coffee and to meld the two, but Oriane always loved watching it.

The tip of her fang played with her lower lip, biting a small triangle of skin and releasing it as she looked at Sol. There was a clear thought in her downcast eyes which had rested on his lap fro a moment before moving away. Oriane wanted to cuddle into his lap, be held, still feeling a little raw from... well everything. Deciding against it with a soft sigh she moved toward her own seat. It seemed her attentions or desired had not gone unnoticed and as she passed by Sol's seat she found herself being yanked into his lap. Blushing she smiled at him shyly, lips brushing his cheek before her eyes turned to Lieutenant Drax. "My turn?" The word sounded slightly miserable and the nod from Avana made her sigh, shifting slightly in Sol's lap, cuddling into him. Sol was quickly becoming the safe harbor in the storm that was her life.

"Well, that's going to be harder than it seems" Setting her glass on the table she looked at the lip of the glass. "I was found on Raitis Q3..." She looked up and offered a small shrug. "I was alone and I don't have memories of before when I was found.. As if there was nothing before that, even though I was a toddler when I was found" The desire to not look into her own past coming up to bit her in the ass Oriane fidgeted with the edge of the table. "I narrowed down what I could be, but didn't ever determine which." Blushing she looked down, she knew a little more, like she seemed to age much slower, but she'd not found anything about that for either race.. "It didn't seem important" Avana set her coffee down and tilted her head, looking at Oriane curiously. "So, you have no idea why you self combusted?" Oriane shook her head, hair flickering about her shoulders. "Has that been the only occurrence on the station?" "No, I don't.. I know.. I heal with fire.. and at.. night I have nightmares... and sometimes it happens then"

What Oriane didn't know was it was more than just setting on fire like she had within the markets. When the nightmares claimed her, and her fear rose in her sleep she change further. "It's why I sleep in the box.." She nodded to the cube and looked to Sol, uneasy. She had nightmares often and she was never able to recall what they were about.

Sol kept most of his focus on Oriane though he occasionally glanced up to see Avana. He saw the brief flash of anger flow through the small girl and his grip on her tightened, intending to comfort as he tried his best to salvage the situation. However, she seemed to calm as quickly as she had angered, though Sol witnessed that fierce flash of gold. Lucky for him he was fire-resistant, though she seemed to have a better handle on her temper than most. “I would have, just not today,” he tried to assuage her with a heartfelt tone, his hands found her back and drew her close to him. His fingers dug firmly into the muscles in her back and his fingers moved in such a way that would make her tension melt off as easily as butter in a preheated pan. He’d hoped his gestures through the day had proven his worth, though he would continually show her he could earn her and her trust. It was peculiar how he felt so strongly for this woman who hadn’t been in his life 24 hours prior. Sol couldn’t help but gravitate to her, however.

As Orii turned in his grasp, he loosened his grip only to firmly hold her by the waist as she settled in against him once more. He made sure she’d fit snugly within his arm and he looked at briefly with affection and lingering regret before looking up to the Lieutenant once again. Drex gave him the support he’d silently requested and a grateful smile spread over his lips as he mouthed a soft ‘thank you’. His smile slowly faded as he listened to the Lieutenant’s true reason for paying them a visit. Especially so at the mention of the radiation. Sol wanted to defend himself instantly, though he wasn’t quite sure what he was going to defend himself from. She was absolutely correct in her assertion for the station’s security and she seemed to understand that they came from a place of defense. However, before he could mutter a word, Orii had taken to being a hospitable hostess and offered for her to sit and suggested coffee. Sol perked up almost two-fold at the mention. He adored coffee and coffee-flavored things and was eager to help out in the kitchen. However, Orii gestured for him to sit as well and he let his hand linger to her waist for but a moment before falling away. “Alright, lovely girl,” he said sweetly to her as he went and took a seat across from Avana.

Sol couldn’t help but be drawn in by the sound of the lovely humming which was coming from Oriane, an admiring smile spreading over his face. A clear of the throat brought him back to the task at hand and he shook his head a little and laughed softly. “Sorry...She’s just so enchanting,” he said almost too quietly for Orii to hear as he gazed in her direction. His eyes stayed focused on the little display that was going on in the kitchen. She may not have been performing for anyone, but Sol watched raptly. However, he began, “As you may know...I’m a Solarian,” as he gestured to the stellar mote that circled him like a beacon. “Solarians have the capability to do a number of things depending on our attunement with photons or gravitons. Essentially, I, myself, am a weapon of untold destruction if I so choose to be. Or if someone tries to harm those I care deeply for,” his eyes further lingered on Orii. Sol indulged in the scent of coffee in the air, drawing it into his lungs with a deep sigh. “I’m very sorry for the wanton destruction I’ve wrought so far but...I can’t let them do this to her. I won’t,” he said as the drinks were finished and brought towards them.

Customarily, Avana was offered the first and it seemed Orii tired of her insistence at formality as she corrected her into using her first name. Avana countered with the same offer. Sol happily took the second glass and began to blend the two layers together only just enough that there was still a layer of pure, black coffee resting atop the glass. Sol, who had been giving Orii the lion’s share of his attention the entire time, noticed her looking at him in a needful manner. Sol smiled at the thought and then scowled a little with determination as she began to walk away to sit in her own chair. His arm shot out with incredible speed, wrapping around her waist as he pulled her off her feet and directly into his waiting lap. He was still exuding a comfortably elevated level of warmth as he leaned his cheek towards the soft kiss and he relished in the feeling of Oriane’s figure so intimately against his. She shifted into his lap and grew comfortable as Sol realized how long it’d been since he’d truly felt so close and connected with someone. His free arm wrapped around her waist and absentmindedly traced her thighs as he began to sip at his coffee with great delight.

Sol listened intently as Orii spoke of herself, listening to the way she carried the tale with her as if it were a pox or some other unsightly thing to be hidden away. He understood how someone could want to forget such unfortunate things and he subconsciously pulled the fidgeting girl closer towards him. His body was firm and strong, quietly offering protection which she wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else. As her tale continued, gears began to spin away in Sol’s head. He knew he’d heard of a race that behaved exactly as she did. Igniting when their emotions ran too high, capable of healing and generating fire and, most importantly, refreshing oneself in a rebirth process after grievous wounds were dealt. Orii motioned towards the box and Sol looked briefly and then back to Orii and his golden eyes glimmered with a realization. He was almost certain of it and he looked deep into her eyes. “Orii, have you ever considered that you are likely a Fénix? You display all the characteristics of one. The control over fire, healing, self-combusting, regeneration...And, of course, the otherworldly, nearly divine beauty the race is famous for as well,” he said to her with reverence, obviously holding the race in high regard for some reason which might not be apparent.

Lieutenant Drex leaned forward a little and nodded as she drank some more of the coffee. “Yeah! That makes total sense!” though, she blushed a bit as she realized she was agreeing with his entire statement and he’d made a very bold statement about her beauty. “Uhh…” she didn’t really know how to get herself out of the predicament without being offensive or backpedaling so, instead, she just began slurping down more of the coffee. “This is VERY good, Oriane!” Avana proclaimed happily with an embarrassed smile, attempting to save face. Sol stifled his laughter, chest heaving with the struggle as he bit the inside of his lip a bit to keep the laughter in. Sol’s body, on the other hand, hadn’t forgotten the placement of the feminine figure within his lap and, without much warning, a stiff heat rose and pressed against her backside. If she’d paid the sensation enough notice, she would feel the rhythm of his beating heart through the stiffening endowment now pressed desirously between through the fabrics of their clothes. Sol bit his lip and silently cursed the reaction, namely due to the company, as he attempted to nonchalantly drink his coffee.

Snuggled closer to Sol, her fidgeting slowed and stopped as she told them both of her past; not that there was much to tell. Like almost every moment she'd spent in his presence, Sol helped soothe Orii, she didn't know why he had that effect on her, nor did she wish to question it. Orii's eyes found his and she tilted her head, a fall of ruby locks tumbling over her shoulder. "I had, but some of it didn't seem to fit" A frown worried itself between her brows and she shook her head slightly. "Until today I hadn't combusted, as far as I know.. or shown any signs of regeneration." It wasn't as if she was stabbed or poisoned normally after all. Sol continued and she blushed, her cheeks flaming to life with the color. Her chin dipped to the shoulder furthest from him and her eyes lowered; there had been others with such sweet words, but Sol's words meant more to her. Looking up towards Lieutenant Drex, Oriane blushed deeper and she squirmed slightly in Sol's lap.

Oriane's fingers found his arm and a gentle pinch was offered. Oriane could feel the rumble of laughter that wanted to escape his chest and she knew had she been in Avana's place, being laughed at would have been horrifying; though he seemed to have a good handle on it. Looking back to Avana, Oriane's mouth opened, to say something and not leave the woman in that awkward limbo and then she noticed the same thing he had; a hardness forming beneath her rear, that held the steady beat of his heart. Blushing her face turned towards his, biting her lower lip she leaned back into him and pressed a kiss to his chin. He hadn't moved her, so Oriane figured it wasn't uncomfortable; however she made and effort to not squirm further and exacerbate the situation. It was not the first of the day for her, but it was a unique one. "Is it?" She dragged her attention back to Avana. "I suppose, yes.. But I didn't have any control of the whole setting on fire thing." Oriane could sort of remember what it had been like, looking from out from those fiery eyes. It had been her, she knew that, but not.

Her eyes fell closed and she thought back. "I just know... I wanted to protect Sol" The blush that had been fading came back and she gave a small shrug. "It was like some sort of reaction to that desire?" It made sense, but she didn't know if she could do it on command, if it was caused from fear and anger? If she could even replicate it. Slowly her eyes opened and she sighed softly. "And I don't want to hurt anyone.." She had also done that, twice today. The first she had been in full control, or as in control as one could be having been attacked in a dark alley. The second time, less so. Which brought Oriane's mind to the next question. "Those men..?" She looked up to Avana and as the woman looked away she nodded slowly "Oh.. I see". Somehow she'd known. Orii felt bad for the loss of life, but found trouble feeling guilty at defending herself or Sol. Had they been innocents, Oriane wasn't sure she could have forgiven herself. "For what it is worth, they were the only casualties" Avana's voice was soft. "And the fire didn't spread from them, so you're not to blame for the damage to the Market." Avana didn't think telling her that one of the first responders had almost been burned would do her any good to know; the woman had pulled back in time before any real damage had been done. "Okay" Oriane's voice was softer and less sure. She didn't know where they went from here.

Avana drained her cup of coffee and sat back hands folded in her lap. "Now, we need to decide what to do about the hits being lined up on Oriane's life at an alarming rate." Her eyes moved past the wilted female with difficulty, hating that was was responsible for that twice now. "You say it's Doctor Stryke behind the bounties?" The allegation was serious, but Avana had no trouble believing it, knowing full well he had already tried other methods to deal with Oriane. The real problem was what to do about it. Sol had the right of it, when he had said the political system would hinder her investigation. The governing body wouldn't be happy with her looking into the prestigious Doctor, she didn't even have to start the process to know that they would make it nearly impossible. "Which does lend to a very precarious position" Sighing she shifted in her seat. "The man is near untouchable... I can start looking into it, but it's not going to be easy" Her eyes shifted back to Sol and she frowned. "As to just eliminating him, I can't pretend I didn't hear that. I shouldn't need to tell you what would happen if you were so foolish" Her voice had become less soft and had that tone that brook no argument.

Avana pointedly looked from him to Oriane. If he tried, things would likely get worse than they were now and not only for him. Avana could see all sorts of charges lobbied against the pair and shook her head once. "I think the first step would to be moving from the Spine. The security down here is not the best, for obvious reasons. Perhaps moving to the Celestial Boughs?" The security there would be better, for obvious reasons; it would also put them and specifically Sol closer to the good Doctor. Making it easier for him to plan. Avana doubted Sol would leave Oriane here, and it would be safer. "While we work on our investigations. I will have to warn you both that if we do open an official inquiry into this matter, things may get worse" She could only hope he caught her drift. Her eyes fell to Oriane, knowing it wasn't she, or Sol who would feel the brunt of this, but Oriane. They would try and destroy her by other means if simply killing her wasn't an option. She wanted to warn him that he should talk to Oriane about this, but from what Avana had seen thus far and the way he watched the delicate female in his lap... He might not, if only in an attempt to spare her; Avana knew she might as well, Oriane didn't need to know what might never come to pass.

Sol seemed to brighten when Orii’s gaze met his, every time his eyes smoldering as they met hers, and his smile lines deepened with his broadening grin. Her blush elicited more pleasure for him, something about how she seemed so easily flush which led to his reaction. Sol didn’t flinch at the pinch he’d received from her, rather he just focused on his desire not to laugh at Avana who seemed to truly be trying her best. Orii then noticed his arousal pressing against her and, in what was a shock to him, she merely offered a kiss to his chin and settled further against him. Sol returned a kiss to the bridge of her nose, sweetly. Content with this level of interaction, Sol’s arms continued to hold Orii close as his fingers traipsed along her thighs. Only this time, there was a little deliberate mood to his motions and he felt for the places on her thighs which elicited more of a reaction from her. These were the spots where he would focus more of his attention on. His hands squeezed her thighs warmly when she mentioned the desire to protect him and his smile spread to the point of being incapable of hiding his teeth.

As Orii continued, he lowered his head towards hers and gently rest his forehead atop hers with his eyes closed as well. He didn’t like that Orii felt guilty for the path those men took. They brought death and injury upon themselves, he thought. However, he understood her innocence and wished she hadn’t the need to witness too much wanton destruction to protect the whims of a few. As Avana consoled her, Sol piled on, “You had incredible control and merely targeted them...For me,” he kissed her where her jaw and ear met and started to pull himself back towards fuller attention to Avana. His hands hadn’t ceased wandering Orii’s thighs, however, and it seemed like he was playing a game of how much she could take before calling out or pushing him to stop. Admittedly, now probably wasn’t the time for such curiosity but Sol was slightly enjoying the mild distraction it offered. More delicious was the feel of her skin beneath his fingers, pliable and soft as he molded his touch against her as though he was exploring; leaving no path untaken.

Sol didn’t have much to say to Avana in regards to her threats of what would happen if he went against Stryke. There wasn’t much in the way they could do to stop him, nor was there anything legally stopping him from going after him. He just needed to ensure that Stryke wasn’t aware he was onto him, though such a thing would prove difficult as Sol had already incinerated a group that’d been sent after them. “Station security isn’t here to protect murderers. They also don’t investigate murders too much unless a pattern emerges. Unless this station is different than the others I’ve been to, your superiors aren’t going to care much even if a prestigious doctor goes missing. So as long as the others are still around, things will still go on. And if it is a problem, I’ll go and I’ll take her with me,” he stopped, realizing he’d made a more long-term plan to be with Orii than he’d initially given thought to and he gave a small chuckle. “I’m sure you would love to venture the stars with me, wouldn’t you?” he asked warmly of Orii, his voice almost seductive as he ran his thumbs along the very bottom of her hips and waist, following the gentle slope of her feminine figure.

Avana continued on and mentioned something which grabbed Sol’s attention. Move them to the Celestial Boughs? Certainly, he might be able to afford to do so. It would nearly bankrupt him, though he had his ship and suit and a few other odds and ends he could sell if they really needed the money. However, they would be uplifted from this impoverished lifestyle and Sol could more easily protect them from within the secure streets of the Boughs. Additionally, it would put him at an advantage for finding and eliminating the good doctor. Sol could see nothing but the positives, though he tried not to think of what would come for Orii if they opened a formal investigation. Such things were messy and those with enough power were willing to throw it around haphazardly in order to escape consequence. Sol would do everything he could to shield her from that reality and he pulled her small frame a little closer to his. “If I’m not mistaken, you have to buy a home there, right? Not cheap from what I understand...But, if you think it’ll help…” he paused and looked at Avana, his aura flaring to life behind him and she felt washed in the glow as if it were warming her very soul. At that moment, she felt like Sol was her closest confidant and would share anything she could with him. “Do you really think it will help, Drex?” he asked again, a little more aggressively. He was suspicious though he understood she was just trying to help. However, he didn’t give his full trust so easily --Orii was a happy exception-- and he awaited her response.

Avana seemed mesmerized briefly and smiled with a nod, “Of course! I wouldn’t lead you two astray! I’m station security, I’m supposed to protect everyone!” And, as the power Sol held released her, Drex shook her head a little with a bit of confusion on her face. “I was always told you Solarians could do brief little mind control bits. Do that again and I won’t be so polite,” she said jaggedly as she sighed and rolled her eyes a little. She figured that everything she needed to do had been done and she looked at the two of them. “Oriane, Sol, thank you for your hospitality. Sol, don’t do anything ELSE that is reckless. Oriane...Try and keep him out of trouble,” she said with an almost laughably transparent ‘yeah right’ look on her face. The woman then began to make for the door as she waved towards the two of them. Sol narrowed his eyes a little, not appreciating the thought of being labeled a troublemaker. However, in his current predicament, he couldn’t argue. Oriane was the only thing between him and an awkward announcement of his lust for the girl in his lap, though a man of his stature had little to be shy about. As he’d teased at Oriane, he’d adjusted so he more comfortably pressed against her by running along with the split of her backside and up between her thighs. His was as thick as the girl was at the wrist and he wasn’t lacking for length, either, such as the reason for his adjustment. Stay inside for the rest of the night. You two have had enough for today,” she said warningly with a touch of concern to her tone before quietly leaving out of the front.

A great many things were in Sol’s mind as Avana left, though one was more pressing than the others. Once the woman had gone, Sol turned Orii that she might face him a little better and he kissed her deeply and more passionately than he’d done so in the club. Without the eyes upon them, Sol felt there wasn’t any need to hold back from showing his true self to her. His heart rate quickened with the impassioned move and Sol’s hands began to navigate her body like a determined hunter searching for his quarry’s weak spots. He started with her neck, fingers tracing every measure of bare skin before continuing to her shoulders. Along her spine came next, his fingers playing each of the vertebrae softly before rising along her sides. His fingers were adept as someone who worked frequently with their hands and one who had probably felt more bodies than most else have as his arms rose, tracing the outlines of her breasts. He’d no inclination to be reserved, it seemed as he lingered at her breasts before continuing his pursuit, his fingers tracing down her stomach and along her hips, each of his thumbs brushing her sex through her clothing as he skimmed her inner thighs.

Oriane had never been with a partner that was like Sol... He had to have known that from her question before about her kissing. Cuddled in Sol's lap, his excitement pressed against the softness of her rear. Part of Orii was fascinated at just how stiff Sol was beneath her; she knew about anatomy and such, but there was a large difference from reading about things and feeling them. It lead to what she was quite sure childish thoughts, but as this was her first experience with such things, she didn't feel too bad for having them. She was just determined to not ask them, having learned some restraint after the embarrassing question about her kissing. Tips of his fingers trailed along her thighs, along the tops and along the outside... the touch was distracting and was not helping the desire to not squirm. Oriane liked the touch, though with Avana just across the table she couldn't help but feel a bit self-conscious, her blush never fading from her cheeks.

Each added layer of his touches, mingled with the kiss was making it harder for her to focus. For example, the kiss had elicited a sweet shiver from Oriane, who was trying her best to focus. The mild distraction of his fingers trailing maddening patters along her skin, or the gentle squeeze, perhaps a mild distraction for him was foreign to the fire bird and led her mind to scramble for the next though, or as Avana began to speak, to follow her meaning. She noticed that Avana's eyes had focused on her, with a pointed look, but Oriane was unsure why. That was the point in which her hands found his own and stilled them on their dizzying dance along her skin. Her mind pulled up the last words that had been spoken, Sol's voice and she looked up to him as he questioned her. The back of her head rubbed against his shoulder as she tipped it backwards to meet his eyes. Travel the stars with him? She gave a small shake of her head, her hands giving his a squeeze. Her eyes as they met his seemed fuzzy and a tad unfocused, the result of Sol's steady exploration. Nodding, that shy, sweet smile was back... She'd always wanted to travel the stars and with Sol it sounded.. lovely. "I would" Her normally smokey voice was huskier and she blushed again, squirming. What was it about Sol that made her so prone to blushing? Never once had Oriane felt so out of her depth, but he managed to make her feel shiny and new with just a look, a touch..

Tearing her eyes away from him she frowned at Avana. She knew that the Boughs were expensive. She'd been once, to fix a pipe and though Orii was by no means a slob, bathing daily and the like.. the people of the Celestial Boughs had made her feel grimy; the lot of them had all but sparkled. She knew that was silly, perhaps it was they way they had looked at her, that had made her feel like a speck of dust, unwelcome beneath their artificial sky. Pulled closer into his form, Orii made a small sound.. needing the touch more with the surfacing of the memory. She could talk to Sol about it later, it wasn't like he was currently buying a house. It wasn't just her own discomfort at the idea, but such a lavish expenditure was foolish, she'd rather leave the station and travel the stars, as he'd offered...

Oriane felt rather than saw the change in his aura, his temperature rising, a low purr of content slipping from her at the spike; her eyes however were on Avana, watching as her face change. Turning some in Sol's lap she frowned, his eyes on the woman across from them, and his aura burning. The tone of his voice had also changed. Another thing to question him about.. Looking away from him as Avana spoke, even her tone had changed, eager almost to supply him with the information asked. Blinking her lips formed a little o of surprise. So he'd forced her to tell him the truth. Oriane could see the benefits of such a skill, even as she felt bad that the choice had been taken from Avana. Then again, unlike Sol, Oriane knew she trusted too eagerly, too willingly; had Avana meant to harm them, she wouldn't have seen it coming, not from someone in her position of power. It was sobering to a point to realize just how naive she was. It was more than her eagerness to trust, Sol was making her take notice of flaws in her life up until now. Be that her inexperience romantically, with who... rather what she was or that desire to take everyone at face value. Oriane didn't have a single bone in her body built to use guile and subterfuge, so she didn't expect it from others. Some of her short comings she wished to change, others she was less sure of, or if she even could.

"Please, no need to thank us. Thank you for coming to talk with us" Yes, the visit had been more than friendly, but Oriane couldn't help but see it as if she'd made a friend. There was the naivety again, her mind whispered to her. "If you're ever in the neighborhood, please stop by" her smile was bright. She blushed and nodded some, unsure how she could keep him in line, when the man could so easily fluster her. Orii would have risen to show Avana out, but strong arms pulled her backwards and she shifted in his lap a little, her blush deepening as she was pulled back into his chest; her rear brushing against him once more, the touch firmer this time. "Yes Ma'am" Avana's smile was soft and she nodded, leaving the two of them, the door swinging closed behind her with a soft click.

She'd turned some, her mind having moved to other matters.. His own had also shifted it seemed, his hands easing her transition to face him more. His mouth found hers and every thought she'd had, every question and concern vaporized, much like her clothing had done just a scant hour before. Passion of this level was alien to Oriane, and beneath his onslaught her mouth submitted, willingly. Once more, his fingers trailed along her body, though this time they seemed on a mission. As his fingers brushed on tender spot behind her ear, where her neck met the shell, made her whimper softly. That wasn't the only place he'd find as he hunted for the sweet places along her body that would draw such sounds from her; along her spine his fingers worked out a deeper purr, the sound reverberating through her throat and a gasp as as his fingers explore along her hips, just where they joined to her torso. It was when his hands brushed her breasts, and lingered.. the touch burning even through the lace of her dress. All of his touches had made her body heat, but that was the first touch that made her burn.

New sensations rose, unfamiliar, though not at all unpleasant. An ache was building slowly in the pit of her stomach, and lower still as Sol's strong hands lingered on her breasts, and the feeling spiked as his thumbs brushed the apex of her thighs. Oriane pulled back from the kiss, her breathing near ragged, and once more unfocused eyes met his own, though they shimmered with flecks of gold as she she tried to scoot away from his hands with a squeak. The action unbalanced her and she tumbled from his lap, neither of them able to react to the change in her position fast enough as she hit the floor with a thud and a whimper. Looking up at him she blushed and shook her head. She could feel the singing in her blood from his touches, but this was all too soon. Shaking her head she scooted backwards further as he reached to help her up. "No" Her voice betrayed her word, his desire was matched with her own...

Standing up with shaking legs, Orii hugged herself. Was this normal? Oriane honestly didn't know. Even with distance between them, she could feel the way her body burned from his touches and she shook her head once more, hair flicking side to side. "Sol.." her voice was unsure and there was a touch of fear there. Would he be mad? She wasn't sure. Looking down, Oriane's arms rose to cradle her own form within, hugging herself tight. "We have known each other for less than half a day.." her voice was unsure and she looked up at him. "I'm sorry" She backed away another step. "Today was my first kiss" Her words softer now "Too much, too fast.. No.. No matter how good it felt"

She wanted more than anything to go back to him.. to allow him to set her blood on fire with his touches.. make her body sing beneath his hands.. To burn for him. She didn't know how to put those feelings into words. "In the old movies.." her eyes found his and she shifted in place. "The.. really old ones, from earth.. in another lifetime, they courted one another.. Could we.. do something more like that?" A smile flirted at the edges of her mouth "Though.. I still want kisses.."

Similarly to Oriane, Sol had never quite had a partner like her. She was much more reserved and shy than he was used to, though he enjoyed that nature within her. It made all the affection she showed him all the more meaningful and he truly loved every moment of it. He wouldn’t know the questions in her mind, nor her desire to know the answer but he would gladly answer anything she needed to the best of his ability. His attention was at a split, mostly focused on Oriane but he needed to keep at least a little focused on Avana and, as such, it detracted slightly from his ability to enjoy himself more fully with her.

Sol smiled more as Oriane agreed she would enjoy traveling with him. There were many beautiful wonders to be seen in space and in various solar systems. Things that he would love to see and explore with her, as well as other things. The shimmering clouds of dust in the Galerian Arm; the star remnant that was entirely made of diamond in the Cloud of Dirgeres; and the immense black hole at the center of the galaxy. There was so much to take in and he could just imagine the smile on Orii’s face when he took her there. Even just the thought warmed his heart greatly of seeing her beam with happiness.

He also noticed the change in her tone and gaze and it helped him grow a bit bolder in his approach. She was obviously enjoying herself and Sol was too, as was apparent from how he pressed into her so urgently. Sol could sense the feeling of unease Orii had at being in the Boughs, but he really did feel she would be safer there. Also, he needed to get access to the Boughs in order to dig further into Dr. Stryke's life and the only way to get access was either being a station worker assigned there or owning a residence. Other than that, everything else was handled via appointment and with escorts.

It seemed when Sol began his passionate, if a little aggressive, maneuvering of her, Orii seemed quite pleased from the outset. She reacted to his touch in ways which amplified his desire to touch her further; her whimpering making him grin and that sultry purr made him shiver with want. As she gasped, his grin deepened and then she seemed to tighten up before breaking off the kiss and she looked at him with a great deal of emotion swimming in her unfocused eyes. Then, she tried to move further away and fell from his lap, eliciting a gasp from him as his hand shot out merely a second too late and she landed on the floor with a 'thud'. Soon, they both stood and she spoke out to him in a way which tempered the man's desire and his eyes softened from their smoldering intensity to a much warmer temperature.

She could tell he was rapt when she spoke as his entire demeanor shifted from that sensual, provocative nature to a more welcoming, attentive stance. He hadn't even considered her lack of experience nor that she might have different intentions as he hadn't truly had a relationship outside of the carnal nature in many years. He allowed her to completely finish, listening to her and standing in his place with an open posture that spoke volumes of his affection for her and that she was welcome to come back to him at any moment. "Orii..." he began with the provocative heat lingering in his voice, "I'm sorry for moving so quickly. I've been in a few too many relationships where that was the only thing that was wanted and, frankly, I may have forgotten what it means to be a true gentleman. Also, I feel really strongly for you and it makes me...react. I can't help it. You're amusing, sweet, easy-going, and coquettish, among other things. Your face is as beautiful as your soul and I've never known someone who so fully conquered my attention," he spoke with a reserved passion, his fire for her burning just beneath the surface but was cooled by the level-headedness brought on by her words.

He stepped forward, quickly but non-threateningly, and he wrapped his one arm around her waist and the other arm around her shoulders. He swept her backward, easily holding her back level with the floor but up near his stomach as he leaned down and kissed her with a broad smile on his face. "I'll be happy to court you...Treat you like the lady you are. Enjoy each other as we move across time at our own pace. And, I wouldn't dream of withholding my affection from you," he said as he gazed deep into those beautiful, flecked pools of hers, his own simmering still though a great deal of his attention had been pulled away from that need that had been so present before. "I want to show you love, Oriane. And I want it to be mine that you experience. Unabashed. Complete. Comfortable," he stressed the last, his hands strongly holding her as he slowly brought her back up to her feet. From around her shoulder, his hand trailed and traced along her jawline adoringly as he gazed upon her. "Thank you for telling me, darling. I needed to know where to draw the line. I can't promise I won't cross it or toe it from time to time, but I will make sure I consider your comfort first," his tone was warm and saccharine, meant to further calm the girl from the places of fear she'd taken herself too. The places he helped bring her to.

He remembered the way she seemed to have something she needed to discuss with him and he took a deep breath and pushed the unruly desire further from his mind. He'd been able to at least hide his stiffness, though it was still present albeit diminishing with the change in mental status. Sol gestured her towards the table, having previously seen how her legs shook and he carefully helped her into a seat before sitting down after pulling another closer to hers. He reached and took her hand in his, lacing his fingers with hers as he gave her a reassuring squeeze. “So, I could tell earlier that you’d had something you wanted to discuss. What is it, sweetheart?” he asked her with his eyes focused on hers with great interest. His thumb gently caressed the back of her hand as he held onto her tightly. As always, she was the center of all of his focus.

The fear she'd felt when she'd told him it was all too soon faded as she saw his golden eyes soften as she spoke. Oriane hesitated, while he spoke; despite her words, she was drawn to him. It was more than the fact that he was handsome or kind to her, something about him was the candlelight to her and like the moth, if she wasn't careful, he'd burn her alive. However, she wanted him to... her body already ached for him, his touches, and the way he'd known just how to caress her to stoke that fire within her. Sol's honesty and baring of his own soul was rewarded with her wanting to return the favor, it only felt right. However, before she could tell him, he'd stepped closer. Oriane smiled up at him and giggled softly as his arm slipped around her waist, bending her backward, she gazed up into his eyes. Not that she feared he'd drop her, she made no move to support herself, showing her trust in him, even as his mouth lowered to her own.

Her mouth was soft as he kissed her, smiling back as he pulled away. One hand rose and cupped his cheek, her eyes still on his as he told her what he wished to do, to show her, Oriane's own eyes softened as his had and she nodded, leaning up a little to return the kiss he'd just given her. As he straightened her, her hand left his face, only to rest on his chest, above his heart. "I don't want to experience it with anyone else." A smile flirted at the edges of her mouth. "Despite how easily I fell for you, this isn't normal for me" She was teasing him and Orii's eyes danced with the sweet little poke. There was no way he'd have thought otherwise, they both knew it. His hand was met with a nuzzle of her cheek into the warmth of his palm, her eyes still on his. "I have something I want to tell you as well..." She trailed off for a moment, working her courage back up.

"I liked the way you touched me" She blushed, but Oriane held his eyes with her own. "Though, I don't think you will be surprised to hear that" Orii chuckled and bit her lower lip, worrying at it for a moment. "I think, you feel it too?" She seemed unsure but tried to give him the same honesty he'd given her. "I feel a pull, to be near you. The.. little touches." Shifting in place Oriane smiled shyly. "Your warmth makes me want to cuddle into you, like a kitten in a beam of light and you make me feel safe" She rose on her tip roes, hands now both on his chest and her kiss this time, was less chaste and felt more like a promise as she spoke her next words. "And I want to be loved by you, Sol and I want to love you back" Lowering back to her feet she hid her face against his chest for a moment, just until she felt the blush had faded, arms slipping around his waist, hugging him close before stepping away from him, just a step.

When Sol motioned to the table, Oriane smiled at him some and nodded, allowing him to usher her towards an empty chair. "Well, yes, actually." Taking her seat, she moved into him as he moved closer into her as well. Hands in his she nodded some and bit her lower lip, eyes meeting his own. "I don't think we should move." Her eyes closed for a moment as she thought about how she wanted to discourage him from buying a house in the Boughs. "I do think we should do something, but we can leave." Her voice was serious and she looked past him for a moment, eyes on where Bellamere slept. "Sol, if I left... She'd be safe and they would have no reason to send people to kill me." It was still odd that they'd decided she was worth killing. She didn't heal that many people... Shaking her head her eyes moved back to his. "I don't like what they do here, but, I am not sure it's on you or me to fix it." She did wish to fix it, but she also knew it wasn't on her or him. "Besides, The Celestial Boughs..." She squeezed his hands. "You'd have to buy a home, and was it not for me, you'd not have even considered buying one" She smiled at him, her face soft. "It's too much." Taking a deep breath she bit her lower lip and told him the last little bit. "And Sol, we wouldn't fit in there. You might, but Maman and I?"

Shifting her hands in his, her thumbs brushed against the softness of his palm. "I have been there twice, and the made me feel like a bug. A dirty one at that." Her eyes lowered and Oriane stared at their hands, lashes lowered. "No one has ever made me feel that way before and I wouldn't want anyone to treat Maman that way" The thought of it had Orii's temperature spiking. "I'd miss her... But I think she would understand. And you did offer to show me the stars." Her smile curled slightly on her lips, unsure, she knew that she was trying to urge him in a different direction, one that for some reason had not been his first thought. Oriane had no way of knowing that if they left, they still might not let it go. She and Sol had created quite the stir and where it had been mostly business before, it was likely personal now.

Sol could feel the weight lifting from him as he saw the smile returning to Oriane’s face. It was all he wanted, all he needed to see to feel that lump that had been forming in his throat to fade away. There was little to diminish the yearning for her, however, his body still aching with desire for more intimacy. However, another time and another place, he’d assured himself mentally as he smiled warmly and happily to her. Orii reached up to him, cupping his cheek with that alluring softness of her skin. His body threatened to usurp his control, to push towards her again but he resisted the urges. As she lowered her hand to his heart, she could feel it still racing within his chest as the excitement from moments past hadn’t yet left him.

He listened raptly as she spoke, his eyes radiant and locked on hers and her beautiful face, watching as her expressiveness told him everything her words couldn’t. “I haven’t ever felt this way, either...Though, I think I know how it goes. And I know that you’ve got it right and we should slow it down a little,” he said with a soft chuckle at her teasing, knowing fully well that the connection they had was unique for both and unusual, to say the least. Not that he minded, though. She then nuzzled her soft cheek into him and he almost sighed audibly from the pleasantness of the sensation. Truly, she felt like heaven to him, in body, mind and spirit. Orii confessed she had more she wished to tell him, and Sol merely offered her a nod of encouragement as he grinned warmly.

Sol’s grin burst into a full blown smile as she confessed to enjoying what he was doing. Surely, he had felt it when she trembled, whimpered, and purred but to hear it was something else entirely. He chuckled softly with her and he gave a nod of his head, “I think I was very understanding of that,” he commented, his tone was amused, though there was a longing which hid beneath. As she asked him if he felt it too, his smile grew more sincere and the corners of his eyes wrinkled a little as he nodded slowly, keeping his molten, shimmering eyes on hers. As Orii fidgeted about with her shyness, Sol couldn’t help but want to kiss and cradle her in his arms. However, he allowed her to continue without any interruptions from him.

His reward was an impassioned kiss from her, one which resonated with a depth of emotion which he returned to her fully, returning to her some assurance from him as well through the gesture. As she spoke those next words and hid her face, Sol looked a little stunned but his smile quickly grew, both a little goofy but wildly charming. If she’d looked, she’d see that his cheeks had flushed just a little as Sol, for the first time, appeared bashful. It didn’t last too long, as he wrapped his arms tightly around her and stroked his fingers along her waist and shoulder as he held her in both places against him. He released her just enough as she took the step away that his fingers still lingered on her and he gave her a determined look and a devilishly charming smile, “Then, let’s do this right and make sure we’re both satisfied in the end.”

As they sat at the table, Sol listened intently once again as she went over the reasons why she didn’t want to move to the Boughs, of all places. She continued and his fingers calmly and soothingly stroked her hands, fingers occasionally intertwining with hers as he bit his lip pensively. While, what she was saying might have been true, there wasn’t any assurance that the doctors would leave them alone now that they had been humiliated, not just once but twice. He frowned when she said that she had been looked down upon and made to feel less than. How could anyone think such a thing of her? It made his blood boil just thinking about it. His hands squeezed hers in a protective fashion, his gaze never leaving hers. Then, she brought it back to the promise to show her the stars and his smile returned with a soft glimmer in his eyes. He did love the vision he had of them leaving together and exploring the Universe together. Today was the longest day of his life and he just wanted to wrap up this dangerous chapter sooner rather than later. However, he couldn't assure her safety if they were being tailed in space, especially if they hired someone with a better ship. They'd be dead in the abyss before they made the jump from the system. Sol realized, with a sinking feeling, that they needed to conclude this nasty business which they had both been roped into. He looked at her, a resolute but sad smile on his face and his eyes looked both worried and affectionate.

"Oriane...I want nothing more than to just get away from all this with you. But, I don't think we can just leave. They contracted me and I turned on them and took out two other hit squads they'd hired, along with your help. They're not going to just let us leave and I can guarantee you they have people on the docks paid off," he began conflictedly, his eyes staying locked on hers as his fingers danced softly against her skin. Occasionally, he would give her hands a warm squeeze. He resumed his thoughts, "They'll get alerted as soon as my ship is preparing for departure, and some bounty hunter with a better ship will come and...No, no, I can't risk you like that, Orii. I just found you and I am not letting go of you. I have enough money to have a month's worth of expenses for all of us left over if I buy this house. And, besides, who cares what those people think, darling? I'll be right beside you and if they even so much as LOOK at you crossways," his voice took a fiercely protective tone at this point and it was easy to see that Sol was ready to step up to anyone who tried to harm her, emotionally or otherwise. "We need to stay, until this is concluded. And not a moment longer. Otherwise, we run to high a risk and...I can protect you with my abilities down here...I can't protect us from the vacuum of space," she could hear in his voice how badly he wanted to go with her, seeming as though he was straining against an unseen force.

"Besides, I'm sure we've been featured in a news segment already...We'll be so well known that the people will treat us very respectfully to avoid what happened to those scum who tried to hurt you," he was a little more assured about this, especially since he had the ability to just check the infosphere for them and, sure enough, he found a few news articles regarding their exploits, though the two most popular ones highlighted "Hot New Couple makes Big Scene at Club Cadence" and even had some footage of them dancing. Sol, with a grin, projected the article from the implant in his wrist so she could see what was thought of them. As he did, he pulled her from her chair and onto his one leg, keeping her from sitting so directly against him until he had time to calm but also getting her as close he could along the one leg.

Knowing that he'd never felt this way either somehow made Oriane feel better. She wasn't a child, she knew her lack of relationship, both friends and romantic was severely lacking; it had never bothered her much, it always felt like their was time. Time to find someone, time to make friends.. Time to live. She wasn't devoid of companionship, Bellamere was a prime example of that, but she could count on one hand and likely in just a few fingers her 'friends'. Sol changed that all though. He made her feel alive, he made her crave something she had always thought she could just find later. I always thought there would be time, but suddenly, there feels like there is not enough. Looking up at him, Oriane blushed and nodded some. There had been very little doubt that he'd not known what his attentions had drawn from her. Her smile was bright and she nodded. "I'd like that" Some other day, once they knew each other better, she could ask why he'd gone so long without this feeling. It was like, giddy butterflies in her stomach, each time she saw his face light up. Or the way her body sang when his eyes changed, and she could read the desire there and her own response.

She'd said her bit, nervously but a part of her was starting to notice that when it came to Sol and the way he treated her, that he was considerate; it was more than that though, she felt like she could tell him or say anything without feeling judged. He'd accept and care about her. Orii may have had very few friendships and next to no romantic ones, but she knew what it felt like to be judged or put down for her ideas. It had never once happened on the station, but back on her homeworld, she'd experienced it. And after just one day... to know he would never make her feel that way? It was a piece of the puzzle that had always rested in the back of her mind when it came to making new friends; for as easily as she made them, with the sort of innocent infections joy in which she did most things, she knew it was a possibility. Long ago, Oriane had decided not to wait for it to happen, just protect herself when it did. After all, Bellamere, despite all their bickering, had never once done it either.

While he had listened, his hands had never left hers, and she could see he was thinking about what she said. Taking each new bit of information on her thoughts and feelings, absorbing them. When she'd mentioned the citizens of The Boughs and their treatment of her, she'd seen the frown and felt the change in the way he held her hands. Protecting her from the memory. Just as she'd seen that, she saw the way his eyes seemed to light up at the thought of traveling the stars with her and she hoped that they would just be able to escape. Sol waited for her to finish, his face falling slightly. The edges of her lips dropped some and she bit her lower lip, listening with the same attentiveness that he'd shown her. Her face fell further as he explained, not because of what he said, but that she hadn't even considered it. "Oh" She broke eye contact first and looked at their hands, it took her a moment, but when she looked back up at him she smiled. "Lucky you found me." she lifted his hands toward her mouth, brushing a kiss over his knuckles. "I might have tried running, assuming one of the other groups hadn't" Orii looked down for a moment and shrugged. "Well you know"

Looking back to him she nodded, slowly. "Sol, it's too much though" Shifting in her seat, Oriane tried to worth through other options, but The Celestial Boughs would be safer, if not come close to bankrupting him. Biting her lower lip she watched his face, eyes searching "Are you sure? We can find some other way on the station to be safe." She really wished she had his power, if only for a moment. "I know how we feel, after such a short period of time, and I don't doubt your feelings or my own. But, Sol... It's a lot of money for someone you just met." She knew, there would likely be no way he'd allow her to ever pay him back either; though she would spend forever how long they remained together trying to. Not with money, but other small acts. Giggling softly she nodded "I don't think anyone would be so foolish, you can be quite fierce" She teased him. He'd never shown her anything but tenderness. Well, tenderness and lust. Any anger he'd ever felt had never been directed at her, even if she had witnessed it. She didn't envy anyone on the receiving end of his anger.

Shaking her head she gave his hands a squeeze and smiled. "Shhh, it's okay. After it's all done, you can show me the universe" A promise that when this was over, she'd still be with him. The edges of her lips curled up, and she looked at him with unguarded eyes. She trusted him, cared for him and a small kernel of love was blossoming. Oriane tilted her head to one side, her cheeks coloring. "We have?" Her brows rose in concern but the look faded as she was plucked from her seat and she laughed at the way he easily moved her about. It was endearing. Shifting into him, she kicked her legs idly as she read. "Can I see the video?" When he played it for her, Oriane gave a small sigh. Having been there, it didn't hold up to the beauty he'd made for her, but it was still enchanting. As she began to sparkle she gasped, both hands covering her mouth. "You didn't tell me!" Blushing she watched herself dance as the clip faded.

Turning to face Sol, Oriane was careful as she stole a kiss. "It's late, we should sleep." Reluctantly she slipped from his lap, one small hand offered to him. "I need to change for bed, promise to not peek?" There was something to her smile, perhaps she wouldn't be too mad if he did peek. Truth be told, they both know he'd already seen her, more than once. Rising up, on her tiptoes she kissed him again, this time a proper kiss before slowly lowering herself once more to the floor. "Eyes closed" Waiting till he complied, Oriane began to undress. She had no shoes or bra to worry about, so the task was accomplished without too much hassle. Folding both she set them on the small stool in her room and headed past Sol to the cube. The tips of her fingers trailed down his arm as she passed. "Sleep sweet Sol" And then, she was gone.

There was no light in the cube, as she pulled the door close she was bathed in darkness. The air within the cube for the moment held a soft chill, the coolness caressing her skin. Oriane sighed softly, and closed her eyes; in her mind, she pictured Sol, who stood just beyond the thick walls. She recalled the image of him, shying away from the only nude image she had, the damage his body too severe. Instead, she recalled the look in his eyes as he'd pulled her closer. The way he had touched her, the way she'd reacted to his fingers as they'd explored his skin. A shuddering breath left her and she pressed a hand to the wall of the cube, slowly opening her eyes. Inside, it was no longer dark, but thousands of flecks of white light, like stars, illuminated the inside.

Looking down at her own body, she could see how her 'stars' flickered along the curve of her breast, illuminated her nipple as it hardened in the crisp air. It was hard to not regret stopping Sol; even now she still ached sweetly in the mere memories of his touch. Orii took a slow deep breath in, before exhaling trying to calm herself. There would be time. They had time. Curling on the stone slab, she faced the wall, her back to the door. The stone was almost bracing in its temperature, but quickly beneath her body, it warmed. Her mind refused to quiet, swirling with the day's events, but in time, sleep claimed her.

She was alone and the sun was setting along the horizon. Heavy fog rolled in, and Oriane knew it was only a matter of time until the shapes appeared. The night was their domain and they hunted her kind, her mother had warned her about them as a hatchling. Laughter, like that of a hyena, echoed around her. They were here! The sun vanished and Oriane threw out a ball of flames, trying to keep the shadows at bay. The ball was bright and lingered for just a moment but a sound to her left had her turning and as she was distracted, a figure from the right snuffed out her light with a laugh.

Within her nightmare, Oriane was trapped. Every ball of light was put out and hands, nails grabbed at her, scraping along her skin. It hurt... She wanted her mommy. The child inside her cried out and the woman whimpered. Something within her dreams bit her and Orii screamed, her body started to glow, the air around her shifting as the heat built. She was running and with each footfall, she could feel the shadows closing in on her. Flames started at her hair, the heavy length vanishing first, the tendrils of flame licking along the stone slab. Next, her hands and feet were enrobed in flame. As she fell deeper down the jagged path of her nightmare, each little misstep taking her further into her personal hell, her body changed. No longer was the soft skin, pale and creamy, instead, she was a child of fire. Her 'skin' glowed like the surface of lava, brighter yellow along the edges, and through her body, the bench could be seen. The curves of her body hadn't changed and an arc of fire danced along her form. Flames freely floated off her body and vanished a few moments later into smoke. "No!" Her voice rang out in a shout and she thrashed along the bench as if fighting some unseen force. "Don't.. Please, someone!" Her sweet voice was gravelly as she called out as she did for every nightmare, seeking help that would never come.

Sol felt comfortable confiding his inexperience with a meaningful relationship with Oriane, somehow knowing she’d both understand and wouldn’t judge him. He’d always told himself that one day, after he got done working as a bounty hunter, he would find himself a lady he enjoyed and he would travel the stars with them. Oriane threw a wrench into that plan, as he’d fallen ass over teakettle for her and he wanted to forget everything and just travel with her, doing whatever he needed for them to make a living. Her bright smile pulled his own to the surface; he simply couldn’t help but smile when she did. He’d never known such warmth in himself, such a deep, yearning affection that felt both patient and urgent. Her eyes were like windows into her very soul and, every time he made direct contact with them, his tenderness for her blossomed further. ‘I’ll never look at another the way I look at you,’ he promised silently as his eyes glimmered softly with the orbiting light of his stellar mote.

His relief in her easement was apparent in the way his gaze shifted from worry to attentive concern. As she listened to him explain to her why fleeing was such a concern of his, he took notice of how she didn’t seem unhappy in the news but rather her naivete for such a thought, to begin with. As their eyes locked once more, that attentiveness had redoubled and he squeezed her hands softly in his. As her lips brushed his knuckles, Sol grinned sweetly as he pulled her hands over to kiss the knuckles on each of her hands. “I think we’re both lucky, then,” his words were warm and honeyed, trying to distract her from the thought of what the mercenaries wished to do with her. He’d not wanted her dwelling on such things as it would do neither of them any good and he wished for her mood to remain as uplifted as possible, given the circumstances.

“Nothing is too much for your life, Oriane,” he said firmly and benevolently, his eyes concrete with the notion as well and his face showed that all-in-all, he fully agreed with his own decision-making. He watched as she bit her lower lip and she could see the temptation that created for him as he only hardly resisted the urge to lean forward and silence her with a kiss. “We may have just met, but I feel more strongly for you than anyone else in all my days. Money can be made again, and I have nothing but time to do that. However, I don’t want to spend that time if you’re not a part of it, so I’m more than happy to sacrifice now to best secure whatever future may be in store for us,” his response was just as fierce and endearing as she made him out to be, a warm smile drawn across his face and touching his eyes ever so softly.

As she squeezed his hands, he returned the gesture as he smiled and gave a slow nod. His gaze found her with protectiveness and affection, the kindlings of a loving fire beginning to smolder within his molten gold hues. “And, I will. I’ll make sure of it,” he responded earnestly as he couldn’t help but have a chuckle bubble up from his stomach. Her own laughter as he swooped her into his arms and cradled her into his lap captivated him within and his head nestled softly to the top of hers and she felt him draw deep, slow breaths through his nose in her hair. He really did love the smells she presented with. “I...I honestly thought you knew of the sparks you made when you danced. It was beautiful and so very fitting, though,” his saccharine tone was sincere as he gently squeezed her against his strong frame.

As she turned to face him, he smiled fully as she took a kiss from him and he returned one for her with pleasure. “Indeed, it is late...We really should,” he said softly as he took her small hand and brushed a kiss along the back of it before standing. He didn’t even need to support any of his weight against her and she noticed that he merely held fast instead of using her for leverage. As Orii asked him not to peek, a mischievous glint appeared in his eyes as he chuckled, “I promise to do my best.” This was a little less sincere, as he was sure he could hold himself back from looking. But, truth be told, he didn’t want to and he could feel the welcomeness of his appreciation for her through her tone. Her second kiss was sweeter and more complete, her one hand in his still as his other arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her flush for a brief moment as he kissed her with unbridled desire. As they parted, he released his firm hold on her and slowly closed his eyes. He’d waited until he’d heard her start to remove the panties before slipping one eye open just so, gazing for a few seconds before slowly closing it again. “Rest well, Oriane,” he replied as he slowly opened his eyes and turned to catch the brief sight of her slipping away.

Sol readied himself for bed as well, stripping the clothes from his flesh as his muscles ached with the fatigue of the day. He was truly ready for bed as he carefully adjusted his large frame within the confines of the slightly too small bed. As he laid there, still filled with excitement from their earlier escapade, he couldn’t help but think of all the sweet ways she made it known just how much she appreciated him and his touches. He sighed softly, dwelling on how she simultaneously excited and calmed him in a way none before Orii had. He thought of how she felt beneath his fingertips, the supple smoothness of her skin, and the lines of her curves; of how much more wonderful she would feel bare and without the trappings of fabric to stop his touches from being more direct. His breaths were slow and deliberate, careful to control his excitement lest he grow too aroused and require more intimate attention of himself.

Sol laid within the bed, his mind flashing with images of the day throughout its entirety and he couldn’t help but feel as though he was living a fairy tale romance; such as young girls enchanted themselves with. It helped him to be appreciative of Oriane’s state of mind as he continued to cycle through the events of the day, his mind unable to lay him to rest as he draped his arm over his forehead and the other over his abdomen. His mote was softened and barely cast more light than a candle in this moment, hovering nearby his head rather than circling it with the fervent energy which it had previously.

Just as sleep was about to take him, Sol could hear the unmistakable sound of Orii shouting with desperation for salvation from her nocturnal assailant. With a start, he jumped up from the bed and walked over to the glowing zeolite bed within which she wrestled her inner demons. He grabbed the door, growling a bit as he pushed it open and felt the buffet of flames and heat blasting him like a furnace as he opened it. Sol didn’t seem to shy away from the heat, though, as he brought himself into the cube next to the living embodiment of flame she’d become and pulled the door shut. Then, in the intense light of her inner fire, Sol wrapped his arms around her body, and his hands planted against the arcs of fire which had replaced her form. Bearing the heat, he began to gently stroke her with his strong, large hands and he hummed a soothing melody from behind her, his rich bass reverberating within the sealed chamber.

Sol continued to deeply hum the melody until she calmed in his grasp and her flesh restored to its creamy paleness which felt so pleasurably soft in his grasp. It wasn’t long after she’d calmed that, in his exhaustion, he passed out so completely and fully that he could easily be heard breathing as he held onto her. Subtly, there was a mild snore coming from his nose every now and again, though nothing so loud as to offend or be noticeable for her to wake from it. Through the night, his body did as male bodies tended to during the evening and Sol kept just a little distance between them, unless Orii herself pushed to bridge the gap between them.

The door opened to the inferno raging within. Whatever Oriane was, it was clear, if it hadn't been before that she wasn't human. She had known that Sol had known as well, but seeing more tangible proof, rather than just knowing. Nothing human, purely human would have survived the heat she was giving off. The air was thick, shimmering before the eye. The flames near her body were brighter, though plumes of flame ran along the walls to the ceiling, in truth the fire she put off should have smothered itself and her during one of her nightmares, the fire wasn't fire in the sense that humans. It seemed like the fire she'd controlled at the market, it needed no additional fuel to burn seemingly and required no air to form. The darkness of the cube had been banished as Oriane burned and when the door opened and closed, Sol within, the flames licked around his body. The touch wasn't hostile, but almost curious as they trailed along his form.

A whimper left her, even as her flames greeted Sol, tongues of fire swirling around him as he crossed the short distance to Orii. At first, the comfort he offered seemed to not be noticed, as she fled down the jagged path of her nightmares; in time, however, the soft humming pierced through the fear and terror. As did the gentle touch of his hands along her body, the flames slowly started to retract from the ceilings and walls, being pulled back within her body once more. They were the first to go and then she felt more substantial within his arms, the gentle weight of her body heavier now. The glow faded as Oriane found her human form once more. Next, the flames that had started at her feet vanished and then her hands. The last physical manifestation of her power to fade was her hair, the heavy fall of crimson locks falling against them, not longer light as air. The heat would take far longer to vanish, trapped within the cube with them.

Oriane turned in his arms, seeking, even in slumber, the safety he offered her. The velvety softness of her body snuggling closer to him as one of her hands slid over his waist, her hear nuzzling itself beneath his chin. Her other arm wrapped around the muscled upper half of his arm, as she shifted once more, her face finding the hollow of his neck and shoulder and nestling here. At some point, as she slept, the length of one supple leg tangling with his own. Oriane had never once shared her bed with another, but her instincts guided her to a position where there was little space between the two. His soft snores, gentle rise, and fall of his chest much like the lullaby he had hummed, soothed her, keeping the nightmares at bay.

Safe. It was the first thought she had, but the reason for it was yet unknown. Slowly, as the fog of sleep left her, Oriane became aware of several things. She was not alone, was the gist if the things she noticed. An arm was wrapped around her, another tangled in her hair. Blushing her lashes flickered open, the scent of him greeting her. Inhaling deeply she smiled softly. Oriane felt like she should be mad finding him in her cube with her, but waking in his arms felt.. right. Orii was just about to close her eyes again when she felt something pressing against her stomach. Biting back a squeak, she gently untangled herself from Sol, a task easier in theory than in practice. First her leg, she gently pulled the one tangled between his own free and wiggled back some, before pulling both her arms away, and lastly, she carefully pulled her hair from his grasp, though the long length was tangled in his fingers. Leaning back against the cube, she gazed down at his body in the darkness, her eyes accustomed to its inky blackness, the little stars breaking through it, dancing along their bodies.

Sol was.. perfect. She had not known many men, and far less as intimately as she now knew him. Biting her lower lip, Oriane blushed as her eyes traced first his features, softened in his sleep. The strong lines, softer and almost sweet in his slumber. A soft snore from him drew a smile to her face and she let her eyes wander lower. His chest and arms were defines, the planes of muscles; strong and capable of making her feel safe, as she had just felt, cuddled into him. The tips of her fingers traced along his arm eyes flickering to his face. When he didn't seem to wake she let her eyes move lower, though for now, she skipped over what had made her pull away. Orii's turquoise eyes trailed over the line of his hip and down the length of his legs. Sol's legs were long and just as toned as his arms and torso, the hair on them no longer dark, as they must have been once, but snowy white. Still biting her lower lip, she let her eyes fall. Even in her mind, she wasn't sure what to call it. Penis, member, cock? Covering her eyes with her hands she shook her head. She was being silly, even as she thought that she peeked through her fingers at him. Oriane had nothing to compare him against, no previous experience or guide. What she did know was he seemed huge.

Her hands lowered from her face, and she looked back to his own. There had been a moment, when she thought about touching him, running her fingers along the length of him, to see if the shaft felt as velvety as it looked. Instead, she leaned down and brushed his lips to his, careful to the distance between them "Sol?" When he didn't wake, she smiled softly and brushed his cheek softly, fingers finding his cheek less smooth than it had been just the night before. Oriane found she liked the feel of the stubble, and she smiled as she lowered her face to nuzzle her cheek against his. "Sol, wake up" Her lips brushed his cheek and she leaned in closer still, deciding quite randomly to tease him. She'd seen it in a movie once, her teeth scraping the tender lobe of his ear, a soft, rumbling purr vibrating along her throat, as the sharp edge of a fang brushed his skin. Her tongue flicked out as she pulled back some. "I will make you breakfast, your choice if you wake up?" She would have anyway, but there was only so much curiosity she could avoid before she broached that line and touched him first.

As Orii's form slowly substantiated within his grasp, Sol slowly and softly began to trail off the lullaby as the intense heat was replaced slowly by the warm, sateen feeling of her flesh against his skin. He adored how she felt in his arms, so much so that he didn't really feel all that guilty for sneaking into her cube to comfort her. As his hand reached up into her hair and began to tangle into her locks as well as stroke her scalp with his fingertips, Sol couldn't help himself but find utter peace as he drifted into a deep, deserved slumber.

While the night progressed, Orii shifted in his arms and pressed her plush skin ever closer to him. Craving closeness, his arms wrapped around her in a protective, secure manner and his hand continued to seek her hair, the silken locks feeling wonderful in his grasp. As her head nestled under his chin, he buried his nose into her hair and breathed deep, slow breaths through his nose to pull her scent within. Even in sleep, his appreciation for her aspects never ceased and his firm, toned body pressed against hers with his not too course body hair being the only barrier which lay between them, and such a layer was not enough to seperate them by any meaningful distance.

Contentment. Such was the feeling he held as he drifted even deeper into sleep, having vivid dreams of the cosmos and the inner workings of stars. How they fused material and used it to generate boundless amounts of energy and how such a system can go catastrophically wrong, in the case of black holes. His dreams were typically filled with such, his nature being that he understood the Universe on a better level than others due to his connection with these two astronomical forces. However, in the midst of his dreams of stars, his mind started to show a scene of he and Oriane together in a ship, hand in hand, watching from a vantage point as a planetary body eclipsed a brilliant blue star. At this, his face shifted to a warm, loving smile for the rest of the evening as he remained entangled with her in the best possible ways.

As morning came, Sol was still pressed against Orii in the most comfortable and intimate way possible, his morning wood pressed against her stomach as it softly twitched with the slow rhythm of his heart. He grumbled softly when she pulled away from him and she felt him briefly clutch her before allowing her to recede. Obviously, he'd been quite pleased with the evening's rest he had gotten so far and wasn't quite ready to give it up yet. As she traced the lines of his body with her eyes, she would note the light colored hairs which covered the middle of his chest and bisected his abdomen, trimmed neatly around his manhood so as to not appear unkempt. His body was riddled with various scars and old injuries, though none of it seemed to bother him much. As she let her gaze fall upon his shaft, he appeared to be around 8 inches in length and he was at least a couple inches thick. Lightly, it visibly twitched with the slow, lethargic rhythm of his heart as she tore her gaze away and then began peeking once more. His skin there did appear rather smooth as it was pulled taut by the swollen tissue beneath, though there were several thick veins which visibly ran serpentine along his length.

When she closed the distance between them and spoke his name, he merely mumbled a little and shifted softly, stretching a hand out to gently stroke her face in a sleepy manner. As he felt her skin, his smile broadened a little as he heaved a deep sigh and resumed snoring softly. His stubble had grown in rather nicely overnight, leaving his skin just a little less rough feeling than sandpaper, but still quite coarse nonetheless. As she nuzzled up against him, a lethargic chuckle rumbled from him as his cheek lightly pressed back against hers, though he continued to lay there mostly undisturbed. Then, as she started to pull is ear into her mouth, a low, almost sighing moan left him before a gasp as her tongue caressed him and his eyes slowly opened. "Mmmm...Be careful where you do that...Might not be able to temper my reaction so well..." his morning voice was a little raspy from the dryness in his throat, especially due to the heat she'd produced the previous night.

He rubbed his eyes a little bit as he gave a small yawn and he beamed happily as his vision clarified on the beautiful visage of Orii. "What a perfect sight to wake to...Good morning, Orii," he commented saccharinely, his golden hues already smoldering even though groginess still held a bit of sway on him. She'd notice he kept his gaze fixed to her face, knowing she was naked beneath and he didn't yet wish to take advantage of that fact. Leaning towards her, Sol brushed her neck with his nose as his stubbly upper lip brushed roughly just under her ear and he kissed her neck before taking in her own earlobe into his mouth with an equally sensual nibble along. He'd no sharp fangs to scrape against, though his canines were fairly sharp in their own right, and he teased the edge of her ear with his tongue as he parted his mouth from her. "See how sensitive that is?" he asked her with a mischeivous tone, sounding more like he would just tease her right back instead of be upset with her for teasing him. She would notice that his stellar mote wasn't present at the moment, that blue ball of light absent from around his head.

It was also around then Sol noticed his own condition, feeling the nearly painful swelling of his shaft and he bit the corner of his lip from the inside softly. However, he decided he wanted to tease her a little more as he grinned a little bit and he looked at her. "You know...If you wanted to explore a little more, I would be very understanding. It's natural to be curious and we have a bit of a safe environment here," he invited her warmly and with a hint of sensuality to his tone. Sol certainly wasn't shy by any means and, somewhere inside him, he deeply enjoyed the reactions he got from her when she was behaving in her coquettish manner.

Lashes lowered as his hand brushed her cheek when they lifted his face held a smile, her own answered readily; the soft snores however meant she'd failed and A soft huff had left her lips before she'd the nibble. The sound he'd made in response sent her blood singing and the gasp that had followed it. Pulling back, she'd smiled down at him, fingers brushing his cheek once more. "Where being a place or part?" Her voice was soft and teasing. Why after last night, and her desire to take things slow was she being such a minx? The little comment, the nip, and the still lingering desire to touch him. Curiosity was dangerous for her, or so it would seem. She shifted on the bed and blushed, the color gracing her cheeks slowly. "Indeed..." Biting her lower lip she decided to wait to ask why he was in her cube, instead her head dipped and her nose rubbed against his in an Eskimo kiss. Tendrils of her hair brushing his face before slipping away as she sat back up.

It was easy to see he was being respectful, even if she'd not offered him the same as he'd slept. His eyes stayed trained very carefully on her face. As Sol leaned up, his nose brushing along the column of her throat, her lower lip rolled inward underneath the front four teeth. The scrape of his forming beard followed by the brush of his lips in that tender hollow, a soft pleased sigh breathed out as she smiled. The next kiss had her eyes drifting closed, enjoying the echo of the night before as he kissed her neck. When his teeth found the sensitive lobe of her ear, Oriane shivered; goosebumps crawling up along her arm and a soft, whimper followed. Nodding, her cheek brushed his and she took a moment to nuzzle her cheek against his own once more. "I see... I saw it in a movie once." Pulling back, the blush was still there, and under the starlight freckles that dotted her cheeks, the color shone. Reluctantly she pulled back some, just because she said they should wait, didn't mean her body or even her mind was happy with that choice.

Looking at him she tilted her head to one side, a fall of carmine hair falling past her shoulder, hiding one of her breasts from view. Her eyes searched near the crown of his head, searching for his mote. "Where is your little ball of fun?" Even if it wasn't sentient, she wanted to give it a name, silly as it might be. Her eyes found his face once more and she smiled, edges of her lips curling. "I miss it" It wasn't a lie, the little solar moat was as much a part of Sol as Sol was apart of himself. Seeing him without it was a bit odd. Her hand rose to brush against his chest, fingers curling slightly against the soft and coarse texture of his hair. His offer made her blush deeper and she met his eyes once more, having lowered them to her hand, to watch as her fingers dancing in the sandy white hair. "Ex..Explore?" The word stammered out and it took a lot to not look lower. Did he somehow know? Had he been awake? Her cheek flamed with each new thought. Even as she hesitated she knew she wanted to touch him, and it felt like the offer was an invitation to do so.

Orii bit her lower lip unsure. Her eyes searched his face as if looking for something. Even she was unsure, was it confirmation that he meant to touch him? "What exactly do you mean?" For some reason, Sol saying that he wanted her to touch him, would make this easier. Blushing she leaned forward and pressed her forehead to his, eyes closed. "I peeked." The confession was shy, full of embarrassment and guilt. It was clear what she meant, after constantly telling him he wasn't allowed. Squirming slightly against the stone she pulled back, her eyes unsure. "Are you mad?" Oriane doubted he would be, but like needing the okay to touch him further, she needed to know he wasn't mad she'd done the very thing... he had. She smiled suddenly, a laugh bubbling up her throat. "No, you're not.. Are you? After all, while being a perfect gentleman this morning... You have snuck..." Thinking back she counted them "three peeks!" Orii laughed and leaned forward, kissing him. Any fear she had vanishing, Sol had offered. It was on her to take him up on the offer.

Breaking the kiss, Oriane shifted against the stone bed, reclining slightly. One hand held her head up as her eyes dipped back to where her hand rest, just over his heart. Her fingers brushed against his chest, moving lower still. Her hand shifted and the tips of her nails trailed along his skin, down the path of pale hair towards the thing she most wanted to touch. There were other things she wondered about but the one thing on her mind was rather innocent as it was lewd. Her nails faded and as she got closer to his manhood, the tips of her fingers brushed through the tighter, well-kept curls before her fingers brushed the base of his shaft. Her eyes moved back to his face, letting the hard length of him guide her. "Not that I am complaining, but why did I wake up in your arms Sol? I know I fell asleep quite alone" Sol's manhood was just as soft as she'd thought it would be, yet.. firm and hard. When her fingers brushed the mushroom tip her lips formed a perfect little o of surprise and her eyes left his. Where his shaft had been soft, it was this plush, velveteen head that was the softest. The tips of her fingers traced little circles around the underside almost lazily. "So soft.." her voice was a whisper, fingers not stopping the dance they were in.

He leaned towards the brush of her fingers on his cheek and gave a soft chuckle to her question, "Place, darling...You're welcome to touch me anywhere you'd like," he responded sincerely and suggestively as he watched the color rush to her cheeks. Truly, her expressiveness brought delight to Sol as his eyes' molten golden hue swam with appreciation. At the Eskimo kiss, he reciprocated with complementary motions as his smile warmed further, wrinkling the corners of his eyes. Her hair tickled his face a little and he enjoyed the way her locks felt against his skin.

He indeed kept his gaze fixed on her face, though he occasionally would glance down at her body in its entirety as he softly chewed the inside of his lip. With the noises she made as he teased her back, he felt himself stiffen further as his skin prickled a little with the telltale goosebumps he'd get when he was thoroughly excited. He'd nuzzle her cheek in return and give her a soft kiss there as she brought her head back and displayed her flushed cheeks. His golden hair was a little messy, locks cascading down his shoulders as they were freed from the ponytail through the night, and framed his face rather handsomely. Noticing her hesitation when she pulled back from him, Sol decided to encourage her a little more.

Sol smiled as she asked him about his stellar companion and as she was looking at him, the ball of plasma flashed into existence and lit up the interior with the cool, blue light which was more luminous than the little twinkles which surrounded her. "So, when we (Solarians) go unconscious...or die...Our mote vanishes. You shouldn't worry about the second one happening, though. I won't be doing that for a very long time," he explained to her happily as his eyes glimmered, glad she enjoyed that aspect of him so much. At his invitation to explore, she blushed deeply and avoided his gaze briefly before bringing it back to fully bear on him and his face was still ever jubilant as she pressed him for more information about exploration.

She seemed to hesitate, uncertain and his smile grew reassuringly as he looked at her as she questioned him. Then, she told him about her peeking at him and his expression was momentarily shocked before he gave a soft, short laugh. "Good...You should peek. I'm meant for you, after all," he assuaged her guilty feelings with affection and a calm tone, reaching up to cup her cheek softly as he nuzzled his nose against hers. As she kissed him, his smile grew and he reciprocated fully and enthusiastically. "I can't help but want to look. You're beautiful, and you're mine," his tone suggested at a hint of possessiveness, though not of the stifling variety; his sounded more like a right to claim more than anything.

Sol then looked down at himself as he felt her beginning to trail her fingers down along his chest. Arching towards the sensation of her nails, his skin prickled again with the sensation of goosebumps which had some of his hairs standing on end. "Mmmm..." he sighed out with delight evident in his voice as her hand brushed over his lower stomach and beyond. Then, as she found his base he gave a sharp gasp as he bit his lower lip to keep himself at least a little calm. Energetically, his cock twitched in response as she trailed her fingers along the smooth, soft skin while the tissue beneath felt as hard as steel. At his tip, a small, clear bead of liquid had begun forming as his body anticipated further gratification. As her eyes found his face, so to did his lock on hers and she would see by his expression and eyes that he was enjoying her ministrations, as did the low moan which left his parted lips.

"Well, I heard you having a nightmare..." he started, the pleasure of her fingers enclosing around his flared tip making his hips jerk suddenly up before he tamed himself. Howbeit, his voice trembled ecstatically as he resumed while she played with that sensitive area beneath, "I couldn't leave you alone...I wanted to comfort you, Orii." Soft groans of enjoyment came from him, interrupting his breaths at times as he did his best to subdue his voice from being too loud. He swallowed as the slightly musky liquid at his tip now beginning to stream slowly down his shaft in little rivulets as he shivered to her touch. His eyes began to drift away from her face, casually and more purposefully to take in her body's shape. Cautiously, he began to reach out and he grasped her face between cupped palms and stroked her cheeks before gliding his fingertips along each side of her neck.

Without hesitation, albeit slowly and deliberately, Sol began to trace the outline of her feminine figure, caressing her collarbone as his fingers passed before highlighting the edges of her breasts with his fingertips. He bit the corner of his lip as he felt the supple fullness of her recoil against the pressure of his touch and he slowly brought his fingers to feel how she reacted when his digits passed over her peaked nipples. He wanted to discover her sensitivity, find out where she enjoyed the most and how, and he wanted to know how she would feel in her entirety against him. His exploration of her would continue until she made displeasure known and his fingers encircled her nipples and one gently flicked back and forth over the pink nub. He didn't do this for too long, though, and soon had carried on down her stomach and his fingers outlined her waist and spread to her hips in a dedicated, firm manner. His eyes followed his hands, seeming almost entranced how it felt to touch her this way.

“I want to know you, Orii...All of you. No matter how long it takes, no matter the pace, I want to know you fully. And, I want you to know me, too,” he said amorously as his eyes sparkled with a bit of inner light as he found her beautiful, turquoise orbs again. He shifted to where he could wrap his arms further around her waist and his hands brushed along the shape of her rear, fingers kneading into her as he toured her. Then, he’d painstakingly drawn a line back around her thigh and his fingers traced along her sateen skin with a purpose. Gentle, however strong, his fingers slipped up to the mound between her thighs and slowly brushed against her in a manner, not unlike the stroke of an artist’s brush upon a canvas. He’d not touch her directly, not yet, easing her into the sensation and listening for any sign or issuance from the young woman, whether encouraging or not. Their mutual exploration should be to each other's comfort, he thought and he wouldn't trespass any further.

Sol was meant for her... There had been things said prior to that almost simple statement, though, nothing that he'd said had been simple. The gentle, calmness of his tone did nothing to keep those four words from shaking Oriane to her core. It drew back to her mind the way her body seemed to sing at his touch. The almost casual way he caused her to blush. The next words that had left his mouth, echoing the previous ones, she was his. His tone had changed, but that possessive tone had not scared her. In that moment, she knew both to be true; she was his and he was hers. "Sol" His name was whispered, but there was more to the single word. Acceptance and that love budding in her breast. It reaffirmed his words, that they belonged to one another.

It more than anything else soothed her fears, and allowed her to touch him without any boundaries. The pleased humm of his voice as her hand had brushed lower and then that almost delicious gasp as her fingers had brushed his cock for the first time. Her smile had grown just a fraction. His reaction to her curious exploring was satisfying, perhaps it was that, which led her to run her finger along that velvety soft tip, teasing the bead of moisture to form at its apex. When her eyes found his golden ones once more. The look in his eyes drew another smile to her lips, which only grew at the low moan that left Sol. The giggle that left her wasn't as bright as it might have been, more of a low amused chuckle, the kind shared between lovers as his hips jerked towards her hand.

The answer to her question, the words trembling from his lips to her question, while she touched him. His reasoning for joining her made her face soften further. While Oriane didn't know the exact details of what happened when she had a nightmare, she did know there was fire and not insignificant amount. He'd braved the hellfire of her nightmares to come hold her. The subject of her nightmares were veiled to her in her waking hours, only one lingering detail. A chilling sort of laugh. "Thank you" Her words were soft, heartfelt. She'd woken up in his arms, safe, sound and feeling precious. How could she not with the way he'd cradled her to his body?

Ori's mind was pulled from the gesture Sol had given her as he groaned softly. Her smile tugged at her lips once more. She'd never had a lover, never touched someone as she touched him now and she found she enjoyed the way he reacted to her, the way his body responded. The way his breathing had changed, the warmth that had begun to trail down from that soft head, the way she could feel his heart through her fingers. The way his throat worked as he swallowed. Sol's eyes left her own and she watched as they moved lower. It was almost as if he could feel the path his eyes took, and she shivered.

When his hands cupped her cheeks, she didn't flinch or pull back, her eyes finding his, though as his fingers traced down, her eyes closed for a moment. The tips of his fingers brushing against her silken skin, like the wings of a butterfly. Slowly her eyes opened as Sol traced the lines of her body. Was the slowness meant to savor or to give her a chance to stop him if she wished? Orii was sure it was a mix of both, but she'd no desire to stop him. When his fingers traced down her neck, she'd shivered and as his fingers traced along the edges of her breasts, her breathing changed; slowing, deepening. The brush of his fingers against the peaks of her nipples, had them constricting, hardening almost eagerly to his touch. Her fingers paused then, in their teasing and she gasped, softly. Much like her own teasing, he toyed with one of her nipples, fingers drawing the hardened peak further out, though as she whimpered softly, he moved on.

As his fingers moved down along the curves of her sides, she cupped her hand around his glistening tip, smoothing the moisture around the whole of the head of his cock. The moisture was slick, but unlike water, it gave no resistance as her hand moved down his shaft, his precum providing a slickened surface. When he spoke, her own eyes, which had been torn between his own exploration and her own, met his and she blushed, nodding. Words failed her, but she wanted that too. She wanted to know where else she could touch him and draw soft, pleasured sounds from him. To see how when she touched him, his reactions, sweet as they were, drawn out by her own hands. "Yes"

As his hands slid around the curve of her ass, where it met the back of her thighs she bit her lower lip and squirmed. "That tickles" She whispered, eyes finding him again. Her teeth scraped her lower lip as his fingers moved inwards along her thighs. The brush of his fingers against that spot made her want to purr and rather than fighting it, she out a soft, throaty sound that vibrated along her throat. Her body seemed to know what it wanted better than she did, for when his fingers slowed and went no further, her thighs parted for him. An invitation for him to touch her further. Oriane knew she could ask him to stop if she desired, but for now, she wished no such thing.

Her own hand had slowly slid down his shaft, fingers gently brushing down further until his balls were cradled with care in her hand. Her eyes lowered, as she gently rolled them in her hand. Orii knew about anatomy, but from a clinical standpoint. She didn't know what she'd expected, but it wasn't this. She'd thought, for some silly reason that they'd weigh more, or that touching them like she was might cause pain, but Sol didn't stop her, and her eyes shyly found his. Her lips parted and then closed. Orii wanted to ask him to show her how he liked to be touched, but she also wanted to learn on her own. She knew one thing, as undecided on that as she was... She wanted to give Sol pleasure, for it to be delivered by her own hands, her body. The tip of her finger traced up along the underside of his shaft. It was then she decided. "Show me one thing you like?" Her cheeks blushed softly and she nodded down to his cock, which her small hand had encircled. "Just one, I want.. I want to learn others on my own"

A promise, that in time, there would be more.

Sol felt a shiver run through his spine every time she spoke his name; each utterance was gospel to him and, as a commandment, demanded his attention to her. Perhaps he was feeling the undercurrents of emotion which were building between the two of them or maybe it was just the lovely way her voice inflected. And, along with it all, Sol felt himself growing more attached to the idea of lengthening their time together and to the notion of extending the intimacy in ways they could both relish, savor, and explore in new feelings together. They were two souls that were intertwining and he felt each thread as they connected one to another, much as he felt the waves of light and gravity propagating all around.

“It’s my pleasure,” he replied to her thanks between his deep, deliberate breaths to control his voice as he licked his lips slowly. His shimmering golds were nearly firelike in their glints and gleams and he couldn’t help but continue taking of her everything she had to offer him. As she shivered beneath his touch and emitted those soft sighs of pleasure, she would feel his pulse quickening in his shaft and the appendage twitched a little more fiercely in her grasp. More so, as she cupped his head as more pre leaked and spread among their intermingling flesh, and as she stroked down, his back arched slightly and he moaned low and drawn at the motion.

Not going unnoticed, Sol smiled that her thighs spread for him rather than clamping shut around his hand. Sighing with delight as she fondled his balls, Sol’s back slowly relaxed as he bit down on the corner of his lip as he looked intensely at her, curiosity and desire brimming in his eyes. He bit down a little harder as he felt her finger trace up that sensitive underside and his hips tightened a little in response to the feeling. “Mmmm...One thing, huh? Well, I think you’ve a good grasp on it already,” he replied to her with ardor as he slowly brought his middle finger to the very bottom of her womanhood and slid the tip along towards the sensitive cluster of nerves which rest near its peak. His touch, for the moment, was featherlight and exploratory in fashion though he would soon be looking to entice more pleasure from Orii.

“However, if you’re really keen, you should do it like this,” he said as he reached down with his other hand and wrapped it around hers and slowly began to apply pressure until her grip was pleasantly firm against him. More of his lubricating fluid had coated him by this point and left him lightly slick as he began to guide her hand in a slow, rhythmic up and down motion. He’d groan softly at the sensation as he looked at her amorously and demanded, “Continue in such a manner, adjusting your speed however you feel is appropriate...You can also stop to just play around the head or the underside with your fingers a bit...I do really enjoy that. And, you can play with my balls more too, if you’d like. I rather liked that as well.” He’d briefly considered oral but decided such a suggestion was too bold for this moment.

Sol hadn’t many reservations for her to break down, being quite experienced in this regard. Albeit, he remained not only aware but respectful of her own reservations, though he noticed how most of them had seemed to melt away in this moment. His digit slowly made a stroke against her clit before pressing against it and drawing back down towards her entrance. Without penetrating her, he stirred her there in order to collect some of her moisture upon his fingertip before wriggling it back towards her navel, though not drawing near.

His inquiring finger had begun encircling her clit, gently manipulating the bud as he shivered from the feeling of her small grasp against his substantial endowment. He’d not realized just the discrepancy between their sizes so immensely as he did at this moment and, had the situation been different, he might have felt a little self-conscious about it. However, given the circumstances, he thoroughly delighted in the notion she was a tiny little girl which needed him to be the strong, masculine presence he was. Slowly, he increased pressure on her clit as his finger moved in patterns, waves, and circles in order to draw more pleasure forth from her.

Then, he quickly slipped his middle finger down along her and probed her entrance once again, this time sliding it within her slowly and fully. All the while, he pressed towards her upper wall, conscientious of the root network of nerves which rest just below the bud at the surface, another target for him to draw further pleasure from. Once his finger had passed all but one knuckle, he began to pull it out of her before he plunged it back within. “Oriane,” he half said and half moaned her name as she stroked him with her delicately soft hand. His fingers were much rougher than hers, though not in a way that would feel unpleasantly abrasive. Rather, the texture of his was far more easily discernable than the smooth, pliable feel of hers.

“I’ll never stop you from exploring me...I’m all yours, Orii. Explore me as you will, when you will. I will be enraptured every time,” his impassioned offering proceeded him pressing against her g-spot as his thumb sought her clit and he began to softly stroke it counter-clockwise as his finger moved with a pleasant rhythm within her. Sol meant his words, feeling more deeply attached to her than anyone he’d met over the last decade. Within him, the sparks of love were lighting and he was realizing that, as much as he’d do anything to please her, he wanted her to feel the freedom to do the same for him in whatever ways she wanted. With this, Sol seemed to agree that more would come for them and that he intended fully to keep her within his life and where he could protect her.

She nodded, eager to learn... The low moans, the breaths, the movements of his body were all enticing and her body reacted in turn. It was more than just the touch of his fingers along her body, it was his reaction that had the heat pooling between her thighs and that desire that pulsed in time to her own heart. Oriane didn't know what to do to quell that building need, but she'd no doubt Sol would know. Blushing, she smiled at him, shy, but clearly pleased. "Truly?" her smile was heard in her voice. The knowledge that her touching was pleasurable had been evident, she wasn't so naive to think that the moans that slipped from him were any thing but pleasure based. Her lips parted as his hand guided her, closing her fingers over his shaft, pressing them closer to his skin so she applied more pressure than the butterfly touches she'd been using. Biting her lower lip, she nodded, almost studiously. Her eyes left his, but only to gaze at his hard length. His body was a marvel, though it was more than his cock that made her think so. His own touching had made her lament at not taking her time to touch him as he had her, that soft exploration. She didn't regret her voice though. There would be so much more time for them and her curiosity had been sated. Her hand moved up and down along his shaft, keeping with a similar pace, for the moment at least.

Oriane didn't consider how odd her behavior might seem, from the night to the morning. Her own desire to take it slow stalled by finding herself within his arms upon waking. That hesitation for the moment seemed abandoned by their mutual exploration and here, in her cube, they seemed separated from time and space. They were the only two, in the small universe in which they found themselves. The touch of his finger against that sensitive little nub made her gasp, eyes closing as the sensation shot through her body like lightning. Sol's finger didn't linger, soon finding the warmth that had been pooling steadily. Blushing she squirmed a little, as his finger found the wetness. Orii had never been aroused like this and she'd no idea what she'd been missing out on; Sol's own body had eased any embarrassment she might have felt, her eyes flickering up towards him, shy.

Any thoughts of embarrassment, or being shy at her own body's reaction vanished as the tip of his finger traced around her clit. The pleasure that the teasing circle he traced along her skin, so close to the little bead of pleasure that her breath hitched and her hand tightened just slightly in response. She didn't consider his size, not knowing what was average or above or below, nor how the difference might cause things to be a bit more difficult. Her hand paused in it's movement as he toyed with her clit, a surprised almost keening moan slipping from her lips. Biting the inside of her cheek her eyes lowered once more, focusing on her 'task' though, it was far from the term, her enjoyment in touching him complete. Her hand picked up paced for a moment, trying in a sense to match his finger... It was not easy, Sol seemed set on driving every thought from her mind. Whimpering, her hand slowed and then stopped. Orii wasn't done touching him, her finger traced a new bead of moisture, the tip of her finger gentle before her hand closed around the tip of his cock. She couldn't help but wonder as an idea came to her. just along the tip of him, her hand moved up and down, much like it had along his shaft, but focused on that softness. Her eyes shifted to his face, seconds before his finger slid into her.

Her mouth fell open as his finger gently pushed into her, a breathy moan slipping from her. When his finger pulled back slightly, only to push back into her tight opening, her name on his lips. Her eyes didn't leave him as her hand moved down his shaft, her little teasing forgotten for the moment, resuming what he'd shown her, though her pace was thrown off as his finger found that other side of that bead. She could feel her heart thudding behind her breast, the pace picking up as she met his eyes. His words, his hand... his fingers... the same hammering heart beat beneath her palm as her hand picked up pace, as if trying to match his heart for rhythm. "Sol" His name was breathed as her body reacted to his touch, a virgin to each new sensation he drew from her body like an artist. His fingers drew her closer and closer to that razor thing edge and her eyes widened, the sensation was unlike anything she'd felt before. "Sol, stop" Orii, blushed, unsure what the feeling was, her voice sounded almost scared. Shifting on the small stone bed, she couldn't pull her hips away from his hand. Moaning, the sound was not as soft as her previous ones, the need in it palpable. "P-p-please"

Panting softly, her eyes closed tightly. If Sol didn't stop, his clever fingers were about to give Orii her first orgasm. She'd no idea how her body would tighten further around that singular digit or how the rush she felt building that was embarrassing her so would coat his finger... Or how the pleasure she felt building could be even sweeter than it was now. The movement of her hand on him was erratic, slow, and then fast... the pacing hard to keep track of as her body trembled. His name on her lips once more, though this time, it was joined by her ever quickening moans. "Sol!" One after another, her moans grew closer together. The choice was in his hands, in more than one way.
