Megohime jerked again, trying to bite back her sobs, shaking her head. “Get up, that’s a fucking order!” She had never ordered him to do anything before, she must’ve really been desperate.

He was so tired. Could he even do anything? He hadn't had celebrer in days. He clenched his teeth and ripped his arm free, clocking Katou hard in the face. It only resulted in his arm being pulled back again, and his katana in his gut.

Megohime felt like her throat had closed up, and a hole punched through her chest, only able to stare at Masamune in complete silence as tears poured down her cheeks.

Katou tried to disembowel Masamune but he couldn't get the blade to go all the way across, so he just ripped it out of Masamune and let his men drop him, watching him clatter to the ground.

Megohime couldn’t move, couldn’t look away, just sitting and staring as blood pooled around Masamune’s body. She hadn’t realized she had been holding her breath until she let it out in shaky sobs.

"Get him out of here, he's ruining the floor."
"Hai.." They picked up Masamune and it was like they were just holding a giant noodle; his limbs and head just dangled from the gravity.

Megohime watched them drag Masamune away, feeling like she was going to be sick, hanging her head and staring at her tears as they hit the pavement.

Megohime picked her head up to look at him, almost looking unhinged, her red eye focused on him intently. “I’ll fucking kill you.” She said in a low whisper.

Though they had seemed to finish with Masamune, they were far from done with Megohime. She endured far more after Masamune had been killed, only now she was completely alone.

She was beaten harder, humiliated even more, and Katou refused to let her sleep sometimes. It was a nightmare, now made worse without Masamune.

Megohime could hardly see through her swollen eyes, her broken nose crusted up with blood and her lips split and bruised. She was hardly conscious at this point, not able to even for a coherent single word response.

Megohime couldn't understand their words, barely conscious now and starting to fade in and out. Maybe Kojurou would continue the business? Would he? Would he flee and have his own life?

Kojurou was never the type to just abandon his post. He was an old fashion man, after all. Honor and duty above all else. He would do a good job running everything.

Megohime felt herself slipping out of consciousness, head dropping more as she fell unconscious.

“Katakura-sama.” Jin’s voice came over the radio he had given to her, stationed up in the attic of the manor with a sniper rifle. “A man is approaching the manor from the south west, shall I engage?” She asked, watching the man through the scope of her rifle.

"Keep an eye on him for now, see what he does." Kojurou answered. Things had been rather hard since the car accident took Megohime and Masamune from the household, but Kojurou made it work.

“He seems to only be approaching the manor, unarmed- he is wounded though, he’s covered in blood.” She reported.

“Of course.” She said over the radio, keeping her eyes on him, but keeping her finger off the trigger.

The closer he drew to the manor, the more features she could make out. Wild brown hair, a rather nice - albeit dirty - suit, and an eye patch.

She watched him stumble closer for a moment before moving away from the eyepiece. “Katakura-sama,” She called through the radio. “I think the man approaching the estate is the man you showed me- Date Masamune.” Jin had been shown an image of both Masamune and Megohime, both of them being gone, she needed a face to put to their names in case she were to see them.
