Urban Sphinx (w Rain K)

Angie picked a tie fighter with shields and joined Zara. Zara would see "Player Two has joined the battle" with a P2 over her ship, and she started laying waste to other tie fighters. "Tell me something I hadn't figured out, Zar. Don't blow me up, I'm on your side. To your left." She warned of two bearing down on the P1 ship and took a breath while avoiding a tie fighter herself. "I also witnessed the unnecessary attack on the rest of us. No wonder Mr. Julianne threw him out and neither his mom or wife said anything about it. Maybe that is what pushed him over the edge, maybe something else. Point is, he really showed his ass this morning. I can almost guarantee you, he won't be allowed on this property without an apology to Dad and Polly, and he'd have an escort whether he likes it or not." She blew up a tie on Zara's six the only way she could... Kamikaze, shouting, "Bonzai! Long live the Rebellion!" She waited for her tie fighter to regenerate and continued to war with Zara against the Empire.

Meanwhile, as KC helped rack, and after Polly rubbed chalk on her cuestick, she said, "Eight ball, or regular, is the only way I play." She shot to break, sending all three ends of the triangle into the pockets, yet pretty much leaving the rest of it unbroken, the other balls hardly moving. "Which do I have? Solids? Doesn't matter. I sunk a stripe on the break, with those two solids. You're up."

Zara was happily ducking and diving on the screen firing torpedos and bolts when she needed her cat-like reflexes giving her kind of an unfair advantage. She spotted the player two symbol and was tempted to shoot Angie out of the sky er space but then she started shooting her own side so she let her live for now. "Mans a bastard no ifs ands or buts from me. I can't imagine treating your own daughter like that it just really pisses me off. Ya know Sphinxes are meant to guard treasure and well I know we don't know each other too well but I consider you all my friends and in my book that makes you treasures of a sort." She blushed but never took her eyes off the screen her X-wing in amazing condition considering how long she'd been flying it now. "He's very close to meeting a monster let me tell you." As she would say that a low rumble would fill the small area and could only be described as a growl

KC gave Polly a nod of approval as she leaned back to watch her shoot only to realize something as she did. "Damn it why'd I agree to play this with you. You're a genius and can probably see all the angles in your head" She shook her head at least she was winning sort of and moved to where the cue ball had landed. She eyed the clump of balls and after waiting a moment long sent the cue ball smashing into them and scattering them all about but not making any into a pocket. "Well, they're broken now hehe."

Angie stopped, hovering in space and sent a barrage into the tie fighter squadron bearing down on them. "I'd be all for it, except that it'll make you look no better than him. He's the one being a monster you want my opinion." Finally the last tie fighter was gone, except for Angie's, and the two were warned about the boss, which was one of the Empire's battle cruisers. "Crap. Why didn't one of us pick the Millennium Falcon... Heck, Leia's ship or Dr. Aphra's even, woulda stood a better chance than what we're fighting with! We're gonna be toast!" Said the one that fired first and was going to go down swinging.

Polly shrugged. "I may be able to see all the angles in my head, but I chose this to kinda prove a point." She saw the solid blue six. "If I hit the six at the right angle, and hard enough, it should go in the corner pocket... It works on paper, or rather in my head. I'm sure you can even see that." She lined up the shot and fired. The ball had a bit of spin on it due to the angle Polly had to shoot it, tapping the eight ball before losing the momentum into the six, the blue ball stopped achingly close to the pocket without going in. "I rest my case. Real physics on a geometric plane, works different than the way you plan it." She sounded slightly dejected she couldn't make such a seemingly easy shot... For a pro, which she wasn't.

Zara smashed through the last few fighters before letting her ship come to settle next to Angies. "I could show him a true monster one with actual claws and fangs, not just hurtful words." She glanced at the warning screen and shook her head "We'll be fine you just fly through and under the main cannons spin around to the back take out the engines then the bridge and finally head through the bay doors and really give them a show." She smiled and shrugged "Besides I don't think Aphra had a ship back then and I'll take a fast x-wing over Leia's cruiser any day." She gave her a wink before letting her x-wing fly into action

KC leaned against the table watching the other girl, she gave a small groan and a roll of her eyes when the game started to turn into a lesson but she let her talk.
"Fine fine fine ya big nerd I see your point hehe." She smiled letting the end of her stick smack Polly on the ass as she walked by heading in for a shot of her own. Fortunately, when Polly had hit the eight ball it had hit one of her stripes and all she need was a slight tap and yep there went the nine into the basked. She smiled and moved around aiming for the 13 but all it did was bounce from one wall to the next "Sooo whats the winner getting out of this?"

Angie took the warning flashing to state her case. "That's what I'm talking about, Zara, dear. If you do that... Although it's doubtful anyone would blame you... You'd be no better than him. Be the bigger person and don't stoop to his level. Anyone who has met you might be able to recognize you as a sphinx, too. To our game... You still have all three of your lives? I'm on my second, so I would be wise to follow your advice." She shot under the cannons and got to where she could fire on one of the engines, going berserk on it.

Polly smirked at her ass getting smacked with the cue stick. "Why must there be a wager? Let's just have fun." She grimaced at the table and went eye level with the cue ball, closed one eye and looked down to the nearby seven in front of her four. "Crap." She unknowingly said her thinking out loud, meaning what she said had to happen. "Four off the seven, both in the corner." The first went right in but the seven teetered for a few seconds before taking the plunge, too. She heaved a sigh. "Thought I was going to lose my turn on a technicality." She proceeded to knock the six in and watched helplessly as the eight was bumped ever so slightly closer to the side hole. "Pooper scooper!" She groaned, shaking her head. She eyed her two, next to KCs 13, fired... And sent both in opposite directions into the baskets. Another sigh and a chastising, "Who's side are you on Pocket?!" followed.

Zara chuckled and shook her head "Sorry to tell you this Angie but I'm not one for morals. You take out a murderer and there's still the same amount of murderers in the world bs that batman preaches just doesn't work for me. If one can end the pain and suffering evil causes then the end justifies the means unless the means cause more evil. In this case, it would be me taking care of a problem with no one else involved so it's a win." She shook her head and went about her own combat maneuvers as she had told Angie to "Might be cheating since my abilities give me an edge but hey ancient games should have been expecting it haha."

KC giggled as she wandered around the table watching her girlfriend "Because that's part of the fun hehe but fine fine I'm sure you couldn't even think of anything fun." She let the last few words purr out with a tease as she shot her a wink. She smiled enjoying seeing the other girl relax for a bit and just be a normal teenager with her. KC chuckled as the balls split and one went in for her "Her adorable girlfriends of course." She smiled and kissed her cheek before lining up her shot. She managed to make the next two before sending the cueball careening into one of the pockets. "And scratch"

Angie looked a little perturbed, "The only Batman I'm familiar with is just a bit on the broody side, so have no idea what you're talking about... Well, I guess if you play nice in my presence, I can't ask for anything else, can I?" She made a face as her tie fighter got blown up... "How...? I wasn't around anything to blow me up!" When her final ship was fully materialized, she had a chance to lay waste to the rest of the engines and managed to, but didn't get a chance to hit the bridge, as she got wasted. "Well... At least it's not going anywhere." She watched Zara having to deal with the angry Empire on her own. It was announced that Player 2 had been destroyed by the Empire... Which might end up being the Empire's mistake for bragging about destroying the rebel.

Polly put the cue ball right on the dot, lining it up perfectly with her five and the side pocket (yet at an angle). The five bounced off the edge of the pocket and spun around knocking the eight out of the danger of the side pocket and caroming off one of the remaining stripes. "I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the irony of that fiasco of a shot." Polly amusingly snorted.

Zara had to admit she was surprised that Angie while a bit anxious about what she had just said took it surprisingly well "Oh he's still broody, but that ideal is his justification for not killing joker even after he murdered Jason Todd. As for the rest of it, I would never do something in front of any of yall unless it was to protect you like with the bear." She smiled and continued to dodge this way and that across the screen avoiding the countermeasures of the empire until she was all alone and every gun trained on her. "Time for some fun." She smiled and sent her x-wing corkscrewing around the engine managing a rocket into one of the thrusters before turboing towards the bridge and unloading the rest of her payload. She destroyed the bridge and hit a few more key spots before the victory screen finally flashed "And destroyed."

KC smiled and watched Polly enjoying the view as the other girl concentrated on what she needed to do only it seemed it wasn't enough as her ball went careening the wrong way. "Oof tough luck darling." She smiled and moved over to where the cue ball stopped and lined up a shot managing to sink one ball then the next and tieing it up with Polly. "Ohh I might win." She giggled and shot only for the angle to be off just enough to bounce he cueball off her stripe and into the eight ball which sent it rolling slowly towards the next pocket until plop "Or not damn it."

Angie stepped out of the cockpit. She took one look at a sullen Catra, and the digital 25. "Are you shitting me? You get five balls! How..?! That's the same as if you just rolled them all into the hole at the top of the ramp!" She reset it. "Watch, Kit Kat." Her first ball bounced off a bar and rolled down into the five point hole. The next made it to the 20. The third ping-ponged off a lot of walls until five. The fourth right in the center for 75, the maximum, the fifth, Angie managed a ten. All told, she managed 115, but still not enough for the 125 needed for a "free" game.

They made their way to Polly who lined up a shot with her five. "I don't like winning that way. I have to sink both remaining balls or it's a draw." She declared.

As Polly dunked her five and lined herself up with the stripe, Angie asked KC quietly. "She doesn't like winning what way? What happened?" She noticed the eight ball absent, but wanted to hear from KC as to what happened. The stripe bounced between the corner without falling in and Polly put the cue stick up. "It's a draw." Although the last line up was a difficult shot, one could almost suspect Polly purposely hit the ball too hard to make it a draw, although she would vehemently deny, claiming geometry or physics or both, to blame.

Zara smiled as she nodded at the screen enjoying her flawless victory for the moment before joining Angie outside the game. She glanced down at Catra then the score "Hey now that was just the practice round I'm sure she'd do better on another go." She smirked and shot Catra a wink before miming that she could just pick her up and pop the balls into the hole if she wanted. All this while Angie proved how much time she spent in this room when not hanging out with them. She chuckled and rolled her eyes before snagging Catras hand and holding onto it as they all joined the other two ladies.

KC glanced up at Angie before rolling her eyes
"I legally lost as in the eight ball was bounced into a pocket before it was supposed to be. So yea go me haha Miss Priss over there doesn't like that and made that ultimatum which I'm positive she's going to make happen." As she said that Pollys ball bounced the wrong way and didn't fall into the cup, with another roll of her eyes KC gave Angie a wink before moving over to kiss Pollys cheek "So then do we want to keep playing in here or does the princess of the castle want to give us a tour of this maze?"

Angie shrugged. "What time is it?" Never mind the bulge in her front skirt pocket told everyone she had her phone.

Polly fell for it, pulling out hers. "Five to twelve. Wow, we've been in here three hours already?!"

Angie gave Zara a side glance and went to the door, just to be met with security. "Another hour, Ms. Angela." Came the familiar Scottish lilt of the security guard. "Cannae hae ya gittin' unnerfoot. Nae a single one o' ya lot."

Angie came back with a shrug as the security pulled the door shut, staying on the other side of the arcade room. "Guess that answers that." She sighed.

Polly grimaced as Catra said, "Man. Shouldn't have had that Strawberry Crush."

Angie chuckled and led her to a restroom there in the arcade room near the back and a medieval looking game with more modern graphics, and appeared with what looked like virtual glasses and enough for all five of them. "Daddy must have just got this one..." She mused waving the others over as Catra ducked in said restroom. "Medieval Tymes," she then tutted. "They spelled times wrong." She fussed, looking the game over.

Zara raised a brow at Angie as she asked for the time then made her way to the door and talked with the guard for a moment. Zara could hear the whole thing and gave her a nod when she returned before chuckling and following Catra towards the bathroom only to be stopped by the game. "Ooh shiny and Angie I'm sure that was all on purpose now come on lets see what she can do." She smiled and snagged a pair of the glasses before setting them on her face "Wonder if I'll be as big in the game as I am in real life maybe I'll get to see what all you small peoples see."

KC was happy to just go with the group although when she saw the game she let out a small squeal "This is so cool I've always wanted to try virtual reality but the systems are way to expensive and the ones at the mall are icky." She smiled quickly stepping forward and snagging a pair of glasses for herself "Beam me up Scotty." She would smile and make a dramatic pose forgetting they had to wait for Catra so she would stand like that for a bit

Angie was looking at the screen. "Player 1, name? Player 2, name? Player 3, name?" A voice asked. Angie saw Polly had a pair on. She shrugged and put a pair on herself. "Player 4, name?"

Angie said her actual full first name, and Polly decided to pick one, in order to give both KC and Zara an idea to change theirs. "Callista." Polly said just as Catra noticed everyone in the glasses. She noticed the game could be played without them, so chose to set up that way. "No virtual for me, I get disoriented. Can't find them on my face inside the game, especially last coupla times." She complained.

"Welcome, Player 3, Callista, welcome Player 4, Angela, welcome Player 5, Kit Kat, feline huntress, friend of the other four." The voice then asked nicely for the other two to give their names.

Zara raised a brow as the game started up the screen flashing all that information for a moment. She thought for a bit before smiling "Empress Esmerelda for player one." She chuckled and glanced over where she knew Catra was due to smell and hearing "Queen of the feline folk." She blew her a kiss and if it weren't for her height then she probably wouldn't have seen it but she definitely did.

KC for her part finally relaxed her pose when Catra entered the room and then took a moment to watch the screen.
"Ohh I know I'll be Artemis" She smiled and nodded her head before glancing around trying to see if anything had changed yet

The game changed fully, for four of them, once, the voice said "All players ready, entering the year 1023*." Catra called out to her four friends.

"I think a fuse blew or something, Angie! Could you come here a minute? Wait... Hahahaha! Take a look at yourself, KC... Heehee, nice fancy shmancy silver bow, Artemis! Cute outfit too!"

In the middle of some woods on a path, with the smell of spring, birds in the air, surrounded by trees, stood the four. Angie made a face. "Kit Kat, we use our characters names now... And what do you mean, you think a fuse blew? The game is apparently still on. Describe what's going on out there?"

Catra's "Kit Kat" feline huntress didn't look like Catra. Unlike the other four. They would see each other as themselves dressed as their character, Zara was tall, still towering over the others (to whatever extent she did), dressed in royal robes (designed how you like) and a multi-jeweled crown (pattern?), KC had literally become the Greek virgin goddess of the hunt, bow, abilities and all, her quiver on her back, yet still recognizable to the others as KC. Angie seemed in dress to be a mage or wizard of some kind, holding a wooden carved wand. Polly was dressed in a fine gown that resembled a princess, except for the leather armour upon her, boots like a knight on a quest, and a sword in a sheath on her hip. She even wore a gold tiara, round about her head with a jewel of sapphire in the middle of the band in the center of her head. Her blonde locks were done in double royal buns, making "Callista" resembling a blonde Leia.

Catra answered Angie, or rather her avatar, the feline huntress with them on the quest did. "That's just it. The room looks to be running on generator power, everything's dimly lit, except this game."

Angie frowned. "Okay. I'll be right there..." She made the move like she was removing the virtual gear, but she didn't disappear from in front of them. In fact, they all would learn they were stuck.

A woman in a Robin Hood outfit, with the same voice as recognized that asked their names, seemed to materialize right in front of them. "Tut, tut, mage Angela, you can't just quit the quest before you start. That's not fair to the others." She bowed to the others. "Robin of Locksley at your service, I see you have chosen your names better than I and my sorority sisters. I was the only survivor, and am currently the captive of the despot king, Callista's father, actually. Now, whether my sisters are really dead... I cannot tell you for sure. All I can, is this is something along the lines of Sword Art Online, but with a true medieval Dungeons and Dragons feel, and in order to get out... You guys gotta rescue me. Along the trail is supposed to be clues as to how to get to the castle. And no, mage, you just can't zap them to me, unless you want to be the first one dead. One of my sorority sisters was a mage and did that. Got us halfway to the castle, but she went up in flames immediately. Fair warning. I've said all I am allowed. Hope to see more than just the goddess Artemis at my dungeon cell, later." With that she was gone and the quest was to begin.

"My character's dad and I'm a warrior princess?" Polly groaned capping her ears and feeling her hair buns. "Crap. I am a Leia and we gotta fight Darth Vader... I'm so either kidnapped myself or dead! Yeah, I'm wanting out.." The same thing happened to Polly. She stayed. "Oh... Shit." She mumbled in realization.

Catra's avatar spoke up. "Now I'm glad I didn't put those crazy glasses on. Especially since we could have played it out here in the real world. I don't know how many paces ahead we can go, let me scout." She bounded ahead much like a running, leaping cheetah to the fork and back. "I can't look left, but right seems to lead us to a village. I can't move towards the sign, unless we're together, apparently." She explained upon returning.

* Year is taken from Rudolph's Shiny New Year when supposedly all fairy tales were real, and really happened. This should be the clue that Robin's friends are also trapped. As fairy tale characters they'll meet along the way.

Zara glanced around she smiled at the sight of her friends agreeing with Catra that they were fairly cute although she was disappointed that her adorable girlfriend was not represented on the sexy cat girl. At Catras warning she attempted to take the glasses off to see if she could help but found she was stuck much like the others. "Yea this is really weird because I can only smell what I'm seeing and well hearing is about the same. Which shouldn't be the case cause those glasses only covered my eyes." She huffed and attempted to remove the glasses again to no avail "Catnip are we moving our bodies at all when we try to take the glasses off." She would wait for her answer but while she did she would take a look at herself and shake her head. After a moment the others would hear a sharp rip followed by a few more as she tore off the bottom of the gown freeing her legs and then the arms off at the shoulders. "Fucking hate fancy wear. I'm wearing a tux for Homecoming Catnip." She shook her head and looked over her character a bit "Hmm seems I am a queen, I have claws, high perception, high agility, High dex and Con, decent strength, not too smart or wise, and my charisma is average. Plus a badass battle-axe in my inventory."

KC took a moment to orient herself and once she was good she explored the little area they were in making sure to really check out her girlfriends. She smiled to herself enjoying the view although like the others she grew a bit worried and attempted to take the glasses off which did nothing. "Well shit I mean this is kind of cool but not if I could die." She sighed and checked out her stats before looking over her inventory. "Wonder if I have Artemis accuracy." She pulled out the bow and an arrow and aimed for a tree on the other side of the clearing they were in she took a deep breath and fired. Right before she did a sound like dice rolling echoed around her and then an 18 appeared above her head and she watched as the arrow hit the tree and sunk into it while a damage display of 8 popped up by the tree. "Interesting"

Angie seemed little surprised at the run down of things and abilities. "Looks like you are a Greek goddess. And I don't think you have anything to worry about. You're a freaking goddess. Robin of Locksley... Omigosh. We gotta rescue Robin Hood! Let me check my inventory. Potions, healing herbs, a spell book and this wand. Mediocre stats, but I'm no klutz either. Did you check your purses? I have fifty gold. That's it. I guess the empress and the goddess, you guys are pretty loaded, right?"

Polly looked over hers as Catra looked over. "Yeah, none of you are moving any muscles. I looked as KC, I mean, Artemis, tried to remove her piece in the game. Nada. I must live mostly off the land. Very little gold, dexterity real good. I mean, according to my stats, if I'm reading them right, I basically am a human cheetah🐆. And yeah, hunting and scouting are my strong points.

Polly didn't say anything, staying quiet. "That means you can feed us. Well, you and Artemis can provide for our needs anyhoo. Come on, let's go to the village and get our first clue."

Angie stopped her with a hand on her shoulder. "Hold it, Callista... What about your stats."

Polly took a deep breath. "Someone's a Star Wars fan that created this scenario. It's not physically possible. My body size and this broadsword at my hip? I told you I was freaking Leia. No way am I going to be an expert with this sword. It's not logical. I probably can't lift it. Swordsmanship: Expert. Poppycock. I'll prove it." She pulled the sword out and deftly used it correctly in a variety of moves, even a baton twirl, sliding it back in it's sheath without looking. "Did that look like an expert to you?"

Kit Kat avatar blinked as did Angie. "As a matter of fact, yes. Yes it did." Both chimed in unison as Catra took the lead like a scout, and they headed for the little village, where they would find the first of Robin's four missing sorority sisters, but who would she be?

(They'll find the mage as one of the good fairies from Sleeping Beauty. But later)

KC chuckled as she put the bow back onto her back and turned to the other "Well by the looks of it we're all level one so I doubt we have anything to destructive yet. And I really doubt whoever designed this would allow for something as destructive as a goddess to be playable. Perhaps I'm a cleric of Artemis instead hmmm." She would do much the same as the others and check her inventory finding roughly 25 gold, a holy relic, some prayer beads, a bedroll, 1 day of food and water and some other knick knacks. "Honestly for being a trap this game is very generous." She shrugged and turned to watch Pollys show "Damn if that's not professional I don't know what is sweet cheeks." She giggled and smacked her ass before blushing and leaning up to whisper "You think there's a slave Leia option" she would smile some before following the others.

Zara watched KC nodding in approval before sighing and turning towards Catras character
"Looks like we're stuck so why don't you join us so I can actually see you and not just hear you. This is kind of cool but would be way cooler if my girlfriend was here." She smiled at the computer-generated cat girl her own ears lowering while her tail flicked behind her. After her answer she would take a moment to look through her stuff again "Yup I'm a queen I'm loaded got a crown which I guess I'm wearing, lots of jewelry oooh that ones neat." She would click on the air and a long spiral ring would rise up her tail covering just a few inches. "Raises my armor which I have none of nor do I have any survival gear. If it weren't for the axe this girl would be useless, but I guess that's what the guard is for." She would smile and shoot Catra a wink before moving along with the others

Kit Kat shook her avatar head. "Sorry, my queen, but I'm not going to put those things on. SOMEbody's gotta watch your outside bodies, am I right? I can play on this side, I'm in control of my character as if I was there."

Angie sighed. "As much as I would like Kit Kat here with us... She's right. Someone has to stay over there in the outside world. If nothing else, to guard the real us. You do you, Cheetah Girl."

"My Avatar is my means to the world with you. You can see her, and I can see you, well, all of us, from kinda above everything. I want to test something, before we get into town, fully." The Kit Kat avatar said with Catra's voice. Like the proverbial cheetah, she gave a burst of speed and jumped up in a tree, bouncing from limb to limb up it, knocking several apples out of it, "Put one each inventory of those away for your snacks later, and use the others for bargaining chips." She gave a cat howl of pain as she was knocked one way and a treasure chest plunged out of the tree, breaking off branches as it fell, addressed to the Empress. Inside was her armour along with a very sharp penknife with Kit Kat's name. The tool looked like it could both be used as a weapon, and to sharpen claws. An aggravated Kit Kat was fussily licking her fur in place. Catra, tried but couldn't move her character, until she was done fixing herself.

Polly, meanwhile, got as in Artemis' face as she dared. "Look hero... I may wanna get to know a Greek goddess extremely well, but I'm no slave. I think it's more wise we work together, rescue Robin Hood, so we can get out of here, yes? Besides... Shouldn't you try to wow me or something, first?" Leia type sarcasm and diplomacy? Check. Polly really didn't realize it, but as she stared at Kit Kat, something escaped her lips that would make KC want to check Callista's stats and inventory. "Well... We all know who the scruffy looking nerf herder is. I can't call her half-witted, though, as that was actually a pretty decent stunt." She sighed. "You look fine, Kit Kat. Let's go on into town. Get your penknife from your Empress later." Leia leadership looked about right, too.

The Kit Kat avatar nodded and growled a "Yes, Princess." and would lead them into the tavern and to a table.

Zara literally pouted which for anyone but KC would be the first time they had ever seen it and for KC it was a rare enough sight. "I mean we're at Angie's our bodies should be fine. You guys get to have your fun adventure with your girlfriends I should get mine." She would huff and stand there for a moment arms crossed before sighing "Fine I get it I just think it would be no no fine I'm good." She glanced up to watch Catra dash up the tree and then her whole body tensed and she was right under that tree when Catra cried out only to watch as the chest fell down towards her forcing her to jump out of the way. She glanced down at it snatching the knife and putting it away before opening the chest "Ahh much better." She would reach down and it would look like her hand was just hovering there but a moment later a set of golden scale mail was snugly fitted to her body and her ax was strapped to her back. Unlike Catra her fur was dusty tan which of course meant she was a lion in here as well.

KC held up her hands as the other girl pressed up to her face
"Didn't say you were my dear just that I would love to see it." She giggled some as she shot her a wink before giving a shrug "Didn't someone lose a game of pool not too long ago because she didn't see the point in wowing me...I'm sorry tie." She chuckled teasing the other girl before she glanced up at the yowling cat girl and then the loud crash. "Apparently this is more like Mario as Catra just found a hidden brick hahaha." She laughed and then turned back towards Polly as the other girl started shouting orders "Love the enthusiasm hun but you realize you don't have to be exactly like the rebel princess right. Like that's the whole point of games like these play them how you want." She smiled and rolled her eyes before giving her cheek a kiss and wandering along with the rest of the group toward town

Angie thought to gather all the apples that Catra knocked out of the tree, before running into the chest. She finally commented to KC around the table. "Most of these DnD like games, aren't the treasures like gifts for doing deeds or something, and not hidden in trees... Like you said, a hidden brick."

"Hey, I didn't even know it was there! I just hit like a solid invisible wall, it fell straight down and I ricocheted to the side." She looked at her hit points. "Wow. The chest zapped me, or the fall did, for one hp. Good thing I landed on my feet."

A waitress came over that resembled the maid version of Cinderella (the first of Robin's sorority sisters) but dressed as the tavern service wench. "Good morrow ladies, I'm your server, what would you like to drink?"

Catra looked at her meager savings, she had the less of everyone. "Water. Erm... So who's going to ask?" She could tell, as could Polly, who was serving them. Angie, true to her mage character not being the brightest bulb, just gave Kit Kat a blank look. "Ask her what, Kit Kat? Oh. Uhh, mead for me. Uhh, the non alcoholic honey one."

Cinderella sighed. "Erm... They both come with honey. Mead is made with honey."

Zara glanced around the small tavern before joining the others at the table Catras character had snagged she moved to sit in one of the sturdier looking chairs and once she was settled grabbed Catras character and pulled her onto her lap. "Your queen demands attention" She chuckled and rested her head on her shoulder as she glanced up at the girl serving them and gave a shrug before ordering some rum. "When in a fantasy generated world." At the moment she was more concerned with enjoying her time then truly trying to finish the quest plus she was a barbarian and they never did much with intelligence

KC nodded her head and shrugged
"Well yea that'd take the fun out of things in all reality the cat girl got very very lucky hehe." she giggled as she glanced up at the serving girl. While she wasn't the smartest she wasn't to dumb and after a moment of looking at her she snapped her fingers "Hey do you know another girl with a bow I think her name was Robin." She raised a brow watching the girl

Kit Kat purred slightly, "I did get an accidental owie. So I don't mind having a softer spot right now."

Polly rolled her eyes. "Geez, get a room."

Angie shook her head. "Your new nickname is Leia. Criminy!"

Cinderella blinked at the back and forth, before focussing on the weirdly dressed of the bunch. "As a matter of fact, I did. The last thing I remember we had just reached the castle of the despot when I was felled by an arrow. Next thing I knew, I woke up here at the beginning, and was a service wench. Robin is her name." Cinderella nodded. "Robin of Locksley." She looked around. "Where is she? She doesn't appear to be with you."

Polly sighed. "I'm sorry, Cinderella. She was captured. By my despicable, underhanded tyrannical..." Angie covered Polly's mouth. "I think she gets the picture, Princess! Goodnight!"

Cinderella nodded with a smile. "And I take it, you're Callista. The whole realm knows you aren't fond of your... Ah... Relation. What would you like to drink?"

Polly shrugged. "Tea. Kit Kat and Angela aren't going to be the only two with unimpaired senses."

"And you, milady?" She questioned KC as Artemis.

Zara smiled and kissed up the girl's neck before tossing a rude gesture Polly's way "Hey let me have my fun and I would gladly get a room but I don't think you guys want to wait on all that." She chuckled and returned her attention to the girl on her lap while she half-listened to the conversation although she did give a chuckle "Trust me Callista is it....do I have to call you that? Whatever anyway what I was saying is that if the muscles on this girl are any indication I can handle my drink." She smiled and let out her own purr as she and the cat eared Catra enjoyed each others company.

KC meanwhile nodded her head to the tale of the other girls story
"Ok so it seems we don't die if we die we just get more stuck and have to wait on people to actually beat the game. Kind of like Jumanji. Both the old and new." She nodded as she leaned back to think although her hand did drift to Pollys lap where she gave her thigh a comforting pat when the mention of her dad was brought up. Finally she was brought out of her thinking when asked the question "Oh well hmmm either mulled wine or ambrosia."

Catra's avatar purred continually, eyes closed as if asleep as she snuggled against Zara as Cinderella addressed KC. "We have both, but the mulled wine is slightly less. Ambrosia? Probably the most expensive thing on the menu, as it's considered the nectar of the gods. In Greek mythology, that is." She then looked at KC, who to Cinderella, would have Artemis' features. "Oh dear... Uh, in the real world my major is Greek mythology, and from what I'm seeing," she blushed. "Ahem, my apologies milady... If you'd prefer the ambrosia, of course it's yours." She gave a slight bow. "Forgive me."

Polly was smiling about the touch, and did a double take. She rolled her eyes as she put her hand against her cheek as she leaned her head against the arm propped on the table. "Another nerfherder." She muttered, barely audible. Polly didn't even realize she was channelling her "inner Leia" a trait all the others would realize they can do with their own character's (KC: Artemis, Zara: A queen, Angie: A magician or good witch.)
