Jack grinned, then leaned in and kissed Ethyl, deeply, with passion. The same kind of passionate kiss they shared later, in front of Bosun, who'd done the ceremony at sea as the deputy of two captains. The small crew rejoiced as the pair turned to them and smiled, and the ship sailed on, trailing a spare length of sail from the aft which some wag had decorated with "Just Married," taking them to the future and to their new life, wealthy as only the Forbidden Treasure could make them, and now having found yet another forbidden treasure in each other.
