Mio looks around and says, "You're wanted so..." she hands Jackie a mask and a cap, "Put these on and let's worry about getting the adrenaline first. " As the two go near the storage room, Mio says, "Well, if you're not sure if you can fit through the air vents then there is one more thing we can do. You take the adrenaline to Max. I'm going to fire my gun a few times and get everyone's attention. That should get the guards away from Max's room."
 
"Damn it, guards." Jackie muttered as she entered the storage room. "Oh my god this room is big." Jackie approached a fat man with a goatee and smiled at him. "I am new here, I need your help. I am looking for some adrenalin."

"Do you have a requisition form?" The man asked and Jackie pointed her gun at his head. "Is this good enough?"

After the man passed Jackie a bottle of adrenalin, which was kept in a small refrigerator. Jackie cuffed the man up and quickly left the room and found Mio again. "I got it." Jackie said and called the doctor to note the right dosage.

"Ready." Jackie said and noticed 2 plump cops approaching them as they were standing in the corridor.

"Shit, I knocked that guy out before." Jackie said. "Maybe he recognized me."
 
A Chinese hacker was at the police station and he managed to get the information on all the officers on duty at the hospital and sent their information to the solos. The solos in police uniform now could have information on all the cops they meet at the hospital. As the hacker hacked into the cell tower information, the solos also had the location of each of the cops and they hunt began.

2 cops walked into the toilets and the solos followed them in. The solos looked around and there was no one else in the toilets and moved behind the cops at the urinals. "Ok, sleep..." The solos muttered and the 2 cops were injected with sedatives and dragged into a cubicle.

At the carpark, 4 cops were chatting at a police van and 2 solos approached. The sergeant was grabbed from behind and the other solo tazered 2 cops. The remaining cop was shocked and a turning kick hit the side of his helmet and a snap sound was heard and he collapsed. "Hi sergeant, nice family you have there. Pity if your wife Jenny would have to raise your 3 kids alone... I need a favor..."

A group of cops received a message from their sergeant to meet at the carpark to update the current situation and they approached the police van one by one. The sergeant sat in the van with a policeman beside him and his face was full of fear. "Hey sarge, what's going on?"

All the cops that were messaged were cops above the age of 50. The ladies moved behind them and chloroformed them and the other solos grabbed and choked the remaining cops. The remaining old cop saw the others getting choked and the policeman placed a silenced gun to his head. "We are trying not to kill all of you." The limp cops were dragged into the police van and cuffed and the old cop was interrogated as he was one of the cops from the secured wards.

These solos were very methodical and armed with data, their execution was perfect so far.

As the other cops returned from patrol back to the police station, the solo waited for them and ambushed them. A fat cop was strangled as his partner was kicked in the head and collapsed. The fat cop could not breathe and the solo released the cable and grabbed his tazer and shocked the cop, then dragged them into a prison cell.

"Where's everyone?" A motorcycle cop muttered as he walked around the police station and saw a man in police uniform approaching. The motorcycle cop noticed his nametag showing the name, 'Bishop' but the man looked Chinese and the cop reached for his gun. As the gun left the holster, the motorcycle cop was disarmed and flipped to the ground. The Chinese man placed his knee on the cop's throat and added pressure and the cop could not breathe. He kicked and flailed helplessly and went limp.

"I can't find the sarge..." An old motorcycle cop said and saw his partner on the ground. "Shit..." The Chinese man in police uniform went behind him and grabbed him in a neck lock. With a fist into his lower back, his kidney as ruptured and the Chinese man tightened the grip on his neck and the motorcycle cop did not struggle much before going limp.

Bob was in his ward and he went to the bathroom to pee. As he exited the room, he saw a policeman choking the fat guard in the room. He peeped around and saw another cop on the ground already. "Shit, assassins again?" Bob muttered and texted Jackie and Mio. [In the hospital, solos ching out cops in my ward. Are you guys involved?]

The limp cops were placed in the seats and the man in police uniform injected sedatives to knock the other patients out. Bob did not know what to do and sent a message to the police station to report the assault at the hospital, but he did not know that the police station was already compromised.

The policeman opened the door and grabbed a balding cop outside the ward into the room. Bob saw the policeman ramming a few jabs into the soft body of the balding cop and the cop did not stand a chance. He gave out muffled moans and was choked out and left on the chair. The policeman looked at the empty bed and received a text and went to the toilet to check.

Bob inserted in syringe into the policeman and injected a dose of drug into the policeman. "Fucking pesky pig..." The policeman said and covered Bob's mouth and grabbed his hand with the built in syringe. A quick knee into Bob and Bob could feel bone breaking and taste blood in his mouth. Bob was shoved into the wall and his wrist was dislocated and Bob screamed but gave out muffled moans as his mouth was covered and he received another fist in his back that would break his spine. "Oh, neuralware..." The policeman muttered as he checked Bob's neck and placed a chip into Bob's empty sockets and Bob was shocked and went limp.
 
Mio read the text from Bob and looked at Jackie. She says, "We need to go now. Hand me a smoke grenade and I will try to get everyone's attention. You need to go and hide on the floor where Max is. I will text you soon." Before turning around, she hands Jackie a note. "If I don't come back from this, read that note."

With that out of the way, Mio heads over to an ICU ward. Outside the ward, she hides in an empty hospital room and waits. When a nurse steps out of the ICU and walks by her room, Mio grabs her and knocks her out. Mio puts on the nurse uniform and hides the unconscious nurse under the bed. The security guard on duty didn't notice something was wrong until it was too late. Mio entered the ICU and as she passed the guard box, the guard started, "Hey wait a minute. Where's your-" Before he could finish, he was knocked out by blow to the head from the butt of Mio's handgun. Placing him out of sight in the guard box, Mio rushed inside the ICU. There she found a room with a patient. His oxygen tank was full and there was another oxygen cylinder that was kept there. She says to the patient in the bed, "Sorry about this. Hope you get better soon." She carts out the spare oxygen tank. Being disguised as a nurse, she managed to cart out the oxygen tank on to the 3rd floor. The floor where Max would be kept. She exited the elevator and while moving the tank she texts Jackie.
[[Low on time. Got an oxygen tank. Where are you? I can try to blow up the enforcer guards with this thing but I'm worried the blast might hit Max. I could try and blow it up far away from here to try and get the guard's attention. What do you think I should do?]]
 
Jackie went to a quiet corner of a hospital and went into the ventilation ducts. She climbed her way to the 3rd floor and navigated to the secured wards. "Shit..." She cursed as she saw thick grills blocking the ventilation ducts at the entrance to the wards. She peeped out of the ventilation and looked around and saw an enforcer bot beside a fat cop at the entrance.

[I'm at 3 floor, bars in ventilation, can't pass. Enforcer bot at the entrance, probably can't take him down without help. Hospital is big so blowing tank up on other side is ok.] Jackie texted and waited patiently for the explosion
 
Mio read the text and carted the oxygen tank to the other side of the hospital. Then she found herself a long hallway and kicked the cart. As it rolled away from her, she took aim with her handgun and fired. The bullet hit the tank and exploded in a ball of fire and molten metal. Mio had ducked around the corner just in time to avoid the blazing shrapnel.
"Welp! Time to hide!"
She ran the opposite direction and ducked into a toilet. She placed her ear to the door and listened for footsteps. She knew she would be facing Enforcers and solos so she held her gun, loaded with AP rounds firmly in her hand.
 
Jackie heard the explosion and as the cops left the desk to check, she exited the ventilation and pressed the unlock button to enter the gate. She quickly moved into the first ward and proceeded to check each ward. There were 2 cops in the second ward and Jackie walked over and as they reached for their guns, Jackie punched their throats and chopped the back of their necks and they collapsed. Jackie rushed into the ward and saw a cop inside and kicked his helmet and sent the cop flying across the ward and landed motionless on the ground. She dragged the unconscious cops into a pile and unlocked the prisoners in the ward.

Jackie went to the opposite ward and saw limp cops in the ward. "What the hell?" Jackie muttered and checked on the cops; they were still alive. "This is bad."

Jackie went to the adjacent cells and found out all the cops were out again and hurried to the next room and the cops were out again. Jackie turned the corner and saw cops getting dragged into a room and quickly rushed inside. She saw a nurse choking a cop and from the side of her eye, she could see a policeman trying to shoot a tazer at her and she kicked the tazer off his hands. This cop was very fast and drew a dagger and went into a combat stance and advanced on her.

The nurse quickly snapped the cop's neck and advanced on Jackie. Jackie looked around. Max was not in this room and she looked at the exit which was covered by the man in police uniform. "This is bad..." Jackie muttered and the nurse advanced and Jackie blocked her kick and dodged the dagger tom the man.

"A well trained solo." The man said as he got into a fighting stance. The nurse and the man advanced on Jackie, attacking her high and low on the same time and a kick landed in Jackie's gut and Jackie staggered back and felt something rip inside her. "This is bad..."

The nurse advanced and from behind, the man in police uniform grabbed Jackie and forced her to the ground. "Hey, what the hell do you think..." A cop entered the ward and shouted and the nurse grabbed him and covered his mouth. Another old cop entered and drew his gun and shot at the nurse who snapped the neck of the cop and rushed over.

Jackie managed to have a good position to prevent the man from getting an advantage on her and she was holding off his attacks but could not advance much and the reason why she was still around was because the nurse was busy killing the other cops.
 
The Enforcer bot went towards the explosion and the C-SWAT team went on a patrol to make sure everything was ok. The Chinese solos were the best at their work and anticipated this. When the officers turned the corner, 2 solos exited a closet and went behind an enforcer bot. A socket was plugged into the charging port of the enforcer bot, one of the only non-electric shielded components, and a switch was turned on and the bot was shocked. A reboot chip was inserted and as the bot was doing a reset, the chip stopped the process and the enforcer bot could not move.

"No more bots..." the lady said and the group advanced to the other cops. An old cop entered a room and saw a nurse fucking a plump cop and he heard gurgurling sounds behind him and saw the C-SWAT getting strangled.

Another lady walked up to the old cop and disarmed him. "Shhh..." She said as she squeezed the side of his neck and the old cop went limp. The C-SWAT was dragged into the room and the lady went over to the plump cop crawling away and shoved the baton deeper into his ass and continued to fuck him.

3 C-SWAT officers found the pile of limp cops in the ward (with Bob) and quickly exited and returned to the other ward with the other C-SWAT officers and found them on the ground. "Freeze!" a fat cop shouted at a lady and an enforcer bot approached them and grabbed the 2 rear cops by their necks and squeezed. "The fuck..." The fat cop muttered and fired a few rounds of his solid slugs into the enforcer boy, making some dents and the bot kicked him in the chest, breaking his ribs and he flew 10ft into the wall behind him with his ribs crushed and he slumped lifelessly to the ground.
 
The man was much stronger than Jackie and was as fast as her. The problem was that they were still quite equally matched but the other Chinese solo in a nurse uniform was very good and she waited for the last cop to the enter the room as they saw her with a plump cop as a hostage, she pointed her silenced pistol at them and shot them in the heads.

Jackie had an opportunity and kicked the man in the face and rolled aside and she was cornered, she went to the last bed and saw Max cuffed to the bed and still sedated and injected the adrenalin into her. The man leaped on Jackie and forced her on the ground again. Jackie was not used to the legs and she could not kick harder, otherwise the man would not have recovered so fast but now she had another problem, the lady in nurse uniform was free after snapping the neck of the cop in her arms.
 
Mio, knowing the situation moved towards Max's room. Though she did not know that the solos where already there, she had no doubt once she saw the "nurse" snap the last cop's neck. She ducks back before the assassin could see her. "Think Mio! Think!" There was not enough time for her to think of a solid plan so she had to go with the flow. Which was the last thing she wanted to do because she knew she would stand no chance against the Solos with a broken arm. She fired a shot at the Nurse and threw a smoke grenade. The nurse dodged the bullet with ease but due to the smoke, she couldn't figure out where the shot came from. Meanwhile Mio sneaked her way under the cover of the smoke to room 308. There she found Max cuffed and a man on top of Jackie. Mio bolted into the room. The man turned around just in time to see Mio press her tazer against the man's skin and deliver a brutal shock to his systems. It was not nearly enough to kill the man and he kicked Mio in the gut and pushed her away from him. Which left Jackie in the perfect position to snap the man's neck. If Mio didn't have her metal mask there would be a smirk across her face.
Checkmate Random solo-assassin guy.
 
The man released Jackie and Jackie wrapped her ankles around his head and twisted and to her horror, Jackie felt something metallic and the man stared at Jackie who quickly kicked him in the face and rolled towards a dead cop and grabbed the cop's cuff keys. Jackie looked up and saw the nurse with the silenced gun and quickly used the dead cop as a shield as the nurse fired at her.

A hand grabbed Jackie and Jackie was grabbed in a neck lock and choked. Jackie took the cuff keys and unlocked Max. When Max was free, Jackie leaned forward and tried to flip the man but he landed on his legs and pulled Jackie down and got a deep choke and Jackie could not breathe. Jackie drew her vibrodagger but the man managed to grab her arm and continue to choke her. In her blurry vision, she saw a lady moving behind the man and threw her dagger in the air and it was Max. Max grabbed the dagger and stabbed the man in the head and the man grabbed the dagger and released Jackie and Max tackled him and shoved the dagger deeper into his head.

Jackie saw the nurse again and she aimed at Max as Max twisted the dagger and the man went limp and the nurse fired a few rounds. Jackie leaped and pushed Max aside and was hit by the bullets.

A few cops arrived and as they entered the room, the nurse reloaded and shot them in the head and 3 cops collapsed but the bullet bounced off the head of the enforcer bot who opened fire at the nurse and rushed over. "Shit..." The nurse muttered and dived for cover.

The enforcer bot fired several AP rounds on his FN-RAL and managed to hit the nurse. As the enforcer approached, the nurse leaped out and sliced the FN-RAL with a monokatana and tried to swing at the enforcer who grabbed the katana and reached for he arm. The nurse kicked the enforcer and fired a tazer at the enforcer but the enforcer did not seem affected and grabbed her neck and slammed her onto a wall.

Max was getting better and she saw Jackie and helped her up and moved to the exit where she saw Mio and went over to her, but before they could exit the room, there were gunshots heard in the corridor. There were more assassins shooting at cops outside.
 
As the nurse was fighting with enforcer, Mio looked out and saw the battle. She says, "No way out. If assassins win, we die. If cops win, we get braindanced. What do we do now?" She seems to have an idea and quickly she moves back into the room they are trapped in and looks out the window. She looks down and says, "3 stories. Do you think you guys can climb down to floor 2? We can have an easier time escaping then."
 
4 cops walked to the basement towards the fuse room. A plump cop complained. "So what is the problem here sarge? Why do you need us..." The cops were shocked when they saw a pile of cops and a lady with a dagger at the sergeant's throat. An old cop turned and saw the 2 cops behind him getting choked and a rag was covering their mouths and as he reached for his gun, he felt a gun shoved into his neck.

"You probably smell real nice and fuck nice too." A lady said and removed the gun from his hand. "We don't want to kill you, especially the nice old ones."

"Are there anymore cops?" The lady asked the old cop as she fucked him.

"Everyone else is on the third floor." The old cop said as she thrust into his erected dick.

The lady with the sergeant checked her phone on the security camera footage and nodded. "I think he's right."

The sergeant was overpowered and the lady sat on his face and started giving him a blow job.

At the third floor, the cops gathered at the corridor and saw 5 cops on the ground with gunshot wounds to the head. They peeped and returned fire and did not see the killers.

A pudgy cop tried to radio the dispatch at the police station but there was no response. "Something is wrong."

The enforcer bot advanced towards the shooters and fired back and it provided cover for the other cops to advance closer. The C-SWAT was well trained in taking out killers and assassins, one of the assassins peeped out and as he aimed at the cop, he was shot in the head. "Fuck..." The other assassin swore. "Why are there so many enforcers?"

The lights of the corridor went off, and the assassins rushed out and fired at the cops.
 
Mio looks up as the lights go out. "Fuck. That can't be good. I don't suppose either of you have super clone powers to see in the dark."
 
"Bo, but bots could see in the dark." Max said. "Oh shit, here he comes. See you on the outside Mio!"

The enforcer bot arrested the nurse and knocked her out. But now, it is approaching Max. It was not safe in the room as well. Max quickly exited the room and the bot fired at Max even in the dark and Max simply bolted towards the exit, hopefully she can lure away the bot.

Jackie went to the window as suggested by Mio and saw thick grills on the windows, welded to the window frame. "Fuck, this is not an exit." There was no choice and there were gunshots outside but there was only one way out.

Jackie held her bulletwound and continued to put pressure to slow down the bleeding and ran out of the room. The enforcers were dealing with the assassins and the other cops were already getting murdered by the assassins. Jackie ran and saw 2 policeman choking old cops in their arms and kicked the policeman in the face and the old cop dropped to the ground and gasped. She did not know what she was doing and there was very little light to see what was going on, just some battery operated emergency exit lights which illuminated the direction of the exit.

Jackie saw several C-SWAT officers dead on the ground and picked up a smoke grenade from the belt of the officer and decided that if she can't see, no one should... Then she pulled the tabs on the smoke grenades. The enforcer box spotted Jackie and fired at her direction again hitting her thigh and Jackie did not have a chance to wait any longer and simply limped out. Lucky for her, the assassins chopped the rifle with the mono katana and engaged the enforcer bot.
 
Max bolted and followed by Jackie. Mio ran with them but she wasn't as fast. She ran through the smoke and stumbled. During that she felt searing pin as a bullet hits her in the shoulder. Clutching the wound, she tries her best to keep up with the much faster Jackie and Max. Her eyes had adjusted enough to the darkness to just be able to follow her friends as she ran.
 
The solos make quick work of the cops in the stairwell, there were 8 cops and none even drew their guns. Max spotted a solo dragging 2 limp motorcycle cops under the stairs and jumped on the solo and quickly went into a short brawl. Jackie jumped in and landed on another solo advancing towards Max. Jackie disarmed him and went into an arm bar and dislocated the solo's shoulders.

The solo Max was fighting as in a police uniform and during the grappling, Max grabbed his gun and managed to squeeze a round off but the was disarmed by the solo. Then a group of cops entered the stairwell. "Freeze!" A plump cop shouted. Jackie put her hands up as a fat cop came over and tazered Jackie.

"Are you..." As a motorcycle cop asked the solo if he was ok, the solo slit his throat. The solo moved towards 2 armored cops and slit their throats and grabbed a fat cop and stabbed him a few time through the gaps in the armor and shoved the blade behind his ear into his brain. "Holy shit..." A cop shouted and the lady disarmed him and pulled him close.

He approached the remaining cop and kicked his gut and axe-kicked the back of his head and the cop was limp. He choked the cop in his arms and
Max went behind the solo and kicked his head and an ugly snap sound was heard.

Max quickly help Jackie up and realized that she was bleeding badly. They made it to the ground floor but both Mio and Jackie were in bad shape. There was still gun fights upstairs. Max was still a little confused what was going on, and whether the rescue was real of just a dream.
 
The hacked enforcer bot arrived and engaged the police enforcer and they grappled each other. The police who had the upper hand were now in big trouble. "What the hell!" A police captain shouted as a lady leaped over the cops and landed among them. The captain's pistol was disarmed and she used the pistol butt and started clubbing the heads of the cops.

The other enforcer bot who arrested the nurse exited the room and fired a shot and blew off the head of the lady that clubbed all the cops outside. The man with the katana swung his sword at the enforcer bot who blocked with his metal arm and the swond only managed to cur some fingers before the bot gripped the blade and broke the sword, the enforcer then grabbed the man and shoved the broken blade into him.

The lady shot the enforcer bot several time and the bot grabbed her face and smashed it into the wall and the lady went limp.
 
Mio hisses in pain and says, "We... should leave before something else happens." She places a hand on the hole in her shoulder and sees her hand covered in blood. She looks worried. She moves forward and finds a parked car. She says, "Any of you can hotwire a car? We need to leave before the cops find us. "
 
Max looked at the car and it looked like a new car. "I think you need a hacker for that." Max said and saw a police car coming by and smiled. Max waved at the cops and the police car stopped and Max said. "There was an attack, we need help..." Max pointed at Mio and Jackie who seemed to be bloodied. As the cop walked over, Max reached into the car and saw a bald cop and punched him in the face and the cop went limp.

"Car problem solved." Max said and moved behind the cop. Max grabbed the cop's gun and shoved it into his neck. "We need your car too..." She shoved the gun into the cop's gut and got the cop to help Mio and Jackie to the police car and got the cop to drive off.

"Where now?" Max asked. "I think they know where my doctor is, and it is not safe there."
 
Mio answers, "Then we need to find a new doctor." She thinks for a bit before saying, "I know a doctor who can help us." She taps her metallic jaw and says, "He's the one that installed my ancient cyberware mask." Mio gives directions to the cop and he drives. It seems that the doctor was a bit further from the hospital. After driving around for a while, Mio says, "... And turn right here.... Now go left... Take the third lane on the right... and we're here." The doctor's place seems to be a bit on the shadier side of things. It's in an alley way. Mio gets off the car and instructs Max and Jackie to do the same. Then she shoots the cop in the head to kill him. She says, "I'm sorry I had to do that do you. I just can't have people like cops or solos knowing about this place."

Mio enters the doc's chamber with Max and Jackie in tow. The chamber consists of a crude surgery table and shelves lined with medical supplies. There are crates in one corner of the room that hold cyberware. Some of the gear seem old. A man in his late 50s with short black hair that has began to turn while is seated behind a desk. He looks at Mio and says, "You're back I see. And you've bought friends." Mio says, "Doc, can you fix us up? We got shot. on a job. While you're at it, do you think you can add EMP shielding to my mask?" The doctor nods and says, "That should be simple enough. I replaced your entire jaw so removing a few bullets is a cake-walk. Who's first?" Mio looks at Jackie and Max and says, "Do you guys want to go first or should I?"
 
"Perhaps Jackie should go first." Max said as Jackie looked pale from losing so much blood. "Jackie, hang on there, just a little more."

Max was very worried as Jackie was not doing well, her pulse was weak and her skin was cold to touch.

The enforcer bot spotted a shimmer and switched to thermal vision and spotted another bot rushing towards him. A few rounds penetrated the bot but the bot leaped in the air and swung a katana and chopped off the enforcer's head. The assassin bot moved to the 2 enforcers fighting and stabbed them in the head and the bots stopped moving.

Many Chinese solos were killed or arrested and the assassin bot was there just to clear off the dead solos and free the arrested ones. He managed to catch some of the action on video to determine who these people were and send information back before determining best course of action.

It was a mess and the situation was getting bad. Jackie and Max were wanted as Max escaped and with the deaths of some Chinese solos, the Chinese government did not want to lose face and sent more elite killers to finish off all the closes, especially Max and Jackie.
 
As Jackie went in to get treated, Mio walked over to a dingy bench and took a seat. Borrowing a piece of cotton and some antiseptic from the doctor, she held it to the hole in her shoulder. She grimaced a bit as pressing the disinfectant soaked cotton to stop the blood flow stung a little. Mio was looking a bit tired. At first glance, one would assume that the reason for her tired look would be blood loss. However, it was more than that. Her tiredness was more of an emotional one than a physical one. She seemed to be thinking of something as she held the cotton, which was turning red, against her wound. She dials a number on her phone but the number is unreachable. With a defeated sigh, she places the phone back in her pocket.
 
"Geez... everyone's dead..." A plump cop muttered and heard gurgling sounds and saw an assassin bot slitting the throats of 2 cops and stabbing his blades into the spines of 2 cops. The cop pointed his gun at the assassin bot and the bot threw his daggers and embedded it into his throat. The heads of 2 cops were slammed together and their necks snapped and the remaining sergeant fired a round into the bot before the bot disarmed him and hugged him, crushing his ribs as he collapsed and twitched on the ground.

The injured and dead assassins were piled into an ambulance and the assassin bot massacred everything in its path. The drones that came close were shot down before they found anything. And when everyone was in the ambulance, the assassin bot drove away.

At the police station, all the cops woke up locked in the cells. They did not have time to organize anything before the solos left the city. There was no response, no reaction, and when the other police stations realize what was going on, the stolen ambulance and police vans were found in the combat zone.

Bob woke up in pain with a dislocated wrist but he was already in the hospital and the paramedics got to him and quickly got to work. Militech agents arrived and met up with Bob in his ward and said. "Are you ready for an upgrade? The criminals are winning now, and you can do more..."

Many policemen were at the brink of death and Militech offered a continuation plan of cyberware to allow the paralyzed cops to work again. It was an offer hard to refuse and more ways where corporates could collect information and track each officer that had the chips installed.
 
Jackie was patched up and Max had her cyberware looked at. Max had a smile on her face. "Still can't believe I'm out." She muttered. "Those Chinese solos have some crazy tech that you can't ignore. They are good."

Max checked the jobboards and saw several jobs taken by the Chinese solos. "Wow, they are here to kill us, and take our jobs..." Max muttered. "Ridiculous."

"I guess we need a break for now." Max said as the sedatives made her tired and weak. "I need a nap now."
