Gideon looked at Remus and sighed softly, leaning down to kiss the top of his head. "It's okay..." He said and closed his eyes a little bit. "Just spoils my plans of having you guys tonight, huh?" He pouted and pulled them into a tight hug, soon patting their rumps. "Okay. Help me put my things away."

Soon enough, it was dinner time and Gideon happily spotted Pierce. The two embracing, holding each other tightly and giving a kiss. He sighed. He missed his lovers. He really really did. He hugged the bunny boy for a while more before letting go, smiling more. "hey love." He said, brushing some blond locks out of his face beofre he kissed him again.

Sitting between the twins, Pierce next to Calix, the dinner was set out before them and Pierce smiled at Gideon. He was so happy he was back. He had missed him and now he was here! While, yes, Calix did not seem happy, but he just was happy for his lover back. Turning, he kissed Cal's cheek. "He'll grow on you." he whispered and hugged him a little tighter.

Remus tried to ignore the death glares that Calix was throwing towards Gideon all through dinner. He had really hoped that this wouldn't happen, and didn't know what to do now that it had. He hadn't prepared for this. He did all he could think of, which was attempt to engage both of them in conversation. "Did you know that Gideon had his study published when he was away?" he asked Calix with a soft smile.

The violet eyed male stared blankly. "Fascinating. And you had to go to an entirely different continent to publish a study?" he asked, quite condescendingly.

Gideon looked over at the other, right leg draping over his left and he stared at the man. "Yes, actually. It was myself and a group of other psychologists working on different elements of the same study. And since they lived there and the research was there, and I used the British library and only had a couple other books that came from different libraries, England was the place I had to go to. Not that I need to explain myself to you, but my lovers seem to like you, so I"m trying." He stated, smiling snarkily and then took a large bite of his food to stop from tearing the other's head off.

Calix snorted when the other man used the term "lovers", and he sat back in his chair with his arms crossed over his chest. "Lovers don't leave for months at a time and expect to be welcomed back with open arms," he countered, glaring. "They also don't take other lovers into the relationship without discussing it first." It was obvious even earlier that the three hadn't told Gideon about him, and Calix found that interesting.

Pierce turned to Calix, leaning away. "Cal. We took other lovers as well. We did not tell him about everything we have done, and he has not told us about any he may have had. It is mutual. You need to understand this." He shook his head and turned to Remus. "Right?" He knew his lovers were on the same boat that he was.

Romulus nodded. "Calix... Stop being rude to Gideon. He is still our lover." He stated and leaned into Gideon, kissing the crook of his neck and cheek then sinking against him. He had missed him so much.

Calix huffed and threw his napkin onto the table. "Fine! Go crawling back to the man who broke your heart and left you!" The slim brunette stood and marched away from the table, a door slamming somewhere in the house a few moments later. Remus only groaned and shook his head.

"That went...well?" He rested his head on Gideon's shoulder and looked at Pierce, wondering what they should do.

It was a couple weeks later of awkwardness and Gideon had been going to see Romulus at the orphanage. He went to his room, knocking and pausing. "Rom?" He asked, looking around and then gasping. "ROMULUS!" He shouted, rushing in and scooping up the unconscious man on the ground. "oh no no no!" he breathed, leaning down and resting his ear against his lover's chest. He then began to give him CPR, blowing air into his lungs and groaning as he pulled back. "Fuck!" he hissed, scooping him up and holding him. "REMUS! ANYONE! Get some fucking help!" He yelled as he ran through to set him on the kitchen table, wanting him higher up off the ground so that he could inspect him some more.

Remus dropped the books he was holding when he heard Gideon scream for him and ran for it. He bolted downstairs, looking in each room he passed until he reached the kitchen and then gasped. "What happened?" he asked, panicked, rushing for the phone. His brother was pale, and obviously hadn't been breathing for some minutes if his blue lips were any indication. He'd barely gotten the numbers to 911 typed into the phone when Calix rushed into the room. Remus spoke to the operator, ignoring what was going on around him.

Calix nudged Gideon out of his way so they could both work on Romulus. The brunette took over the chest compressions, all the while contemplating turning the twin to guarantee his life. "This... Isn't... Working..." he grunted in between thrusts of his hands to his lover's chest.

Gideon worked on his breathing before he rested his ear against his chest, listening for a while before he looked up at the other. "Harder." He said, moving to rest his hands on either side of the man's head. "Pound his chest hard. Right in the center." He pointed to where he meant and pulled his hand back. "You justh ave to trust me, okay? Do it!"

He gave the other male a questioning look, and hesitated for a minute. Remus elbowed him hard, motioning towards Romulus and that he should do whatever Gideon had told him to. Nodding, Calix pounded on Rom's chest as hard as he could where the other had indicated that he should. Blood was pounding in his ears and he was getting hotter as his own temperature rose with each passing stressful moment.

"Great!" Gideon took Romulus's head and tilted it back as the other hit and it seemed just enough to start up the other's heart.

Romulus took in a deep breath, his back arching up and he rolled onto his side, coughing and going into quite the fit. He spat out some blood, wiping it away with shaking hands. He looked at the others and his brows furrowed. "I'm not dead yet.' he mumbled, falling onto the counter and trying to get his breathing and everything back in order.

Gideon relaxed and trailed his fingers through the brown locks of the boy before he ran up and hugged Calix, holding him and gripping the vampire to the point of practically breaking him - or at least he felt like it. "Thank you. Thank you for being here. Without you I... I know Remus couldn't have hit him that hard." He then turned to the two, letting go of the vampire. "His heart needed a jump start." He stated, brushing aside some hair from Rom's face to look at him.

Calix didn't know how to react, or what to say. He was just relieved that Romulus was speaking and breathing again. He rushed over to the man and kissed his forehead, shaking. He moved when Remus pushed them both out of the way, and the brunette stepped back, taking in the situation. The past weeks had been stressful. He didn't trust Gideon and didn't understand why his three lovers would allow someone like that back into their lives after having left. But as he continued to take in the situation, Calix slowly began to understand.

The sirens of the ambulance brought him out of his thoughts and he rushed to open the door for them.

Gideon looked over at the EMTs and sighed softly. "His heart was stopping and um... WE got it working again!"

Romulus groaned, pushing the men aside. "Go away! I'm fine!" he groaned, coughing a few times and hissing as they hit a sensitive spot. He grumbled a few times, not really being able to tell them 'no, I don't need a hospital visit'. He huffed as he was sat onto a stretcher, taking Remus's hand. "Come with! You two, meet us there." he glared at the other two, tugging his brother with him. "If you're not there five minutes after we are, I'm going to do something that will make you regret it!" He huffed, his head a little fuzzy for insults and threats right now.

Gideon nodded a few times before he turned to Calix. "I have a camero here, what do you have to drive?"

He kissed Romulus' cheek before he was taken from the house and rushed to the hospital. Looking over, he shook his head. "Something faster than a Camero," he answered, taking the man's hand and pulling him out of the house. "Where's Pierce?" he asked as the engine roared to life and Calix fastened his seat belt.

Remus climbed into the back of the ambulance with his twin, reminding himself that he couldn't crawl onto the stretcher with him, no matter how badly he wanted to. Instead, he forced himself to sit on the little bench and hold Romulus' hand tightly in his own. "What happened, Rommy?" he asked, worried. "Are you sick? Did you see anyone before you passed out?"

Romulus leaned into the stretcher while his vitals were being taken, hand gripping Remus's for as long as he was able to. He remained silent as he thought about it, eyes closing before he turned to look at him. "I was talking to um... someone. He was talking about adopting a little girl but he... was a little sketchy so i had to deny him again and.. I don't know."

Gideon gripped his hand as they went through to the car. "Nice." He said simply and then sat down in the car. He looked around then back to the man next to him. "I don't know what happened. I don't want him to be bad... or... Gods I don't even know what could have happened!" he whined and leaned into the car, looking around before back to the other.

"Did you get his name?" he asked, concerned. "On the forms, I mean." Remus clearly didn't expect Romulus to remember the man's name right then. The medics seemed to be satisfied that Romulus' vital signs were strong, at least according to their facial expressions, and Remus was glad for that at least. They arrived quickly at the hospital and he was detained, told that he couldn't go into the actual exam room. "But I'm his brother!" he argued, trying to push his way through the arms of security.

Calix pulled out of the driveway quickly, only half listening. "Call Pierce," he instructed, thrusting his cell phone into Gideon's hands. "Tell him to meet us at the hospital."

"Got it!" He said quickly and then pulled out his cell phone, dialing up his love and holding the phone to his ear. "He's fine but Rom was hurt ... Come to the hospital, meet us there. Mhm. Okay. Drive carefully, please!" He sighed and closed the cell phone, turning to look at Calix, biting his bottom lip. "He's coming. Freaking out it seems." He laughed and gasped when they got to the hospital. "GREAT Driving!" he hopped out and rushed in and over to Remus. He pulled him into a tight hug, kissing his head gently. "hey hey!"

Romulus whimpered, protesting his own bits only to be sedated. He cursed and fell back into the bed with another groan.

Remus rushed towards both men, one arm wrapping around each of them as he buried his head into them. "They've sedated him," he whispered, sniffling a bit. "Said that he isn't out of the woods yet...that they wouldn't know until blood work came back..." Remus hadn't really been paying a whole lot of attention to what the doctors had been saying, instead he'd been paying attention to Romulus and trying to make sure that his brother would be okay.

Gideon wrapped his arms around him, leaning down and kissing the top of his head. He sighed softly while his fingers trailed through his hair and nuzzling into him a little more. He smiled gently. "he'll be okay. You know he will." he whispered and kissed the top of his head.

He nodded and snuggled deeper into both men, scared.

Calix lead them to the seats in the waiting room. Standing in the middle of the ER wasn't going to do anyone any good, and Pierce would have to come through the waiting room to get to them anyway. The brunette kissed Remus' temple and held him tightly, shaken and just as scared but trying to not show it. He left Gideon to care for Remus when Pierce came through the door, rising to wrap him in a tight hug.

Pierce pulled Cal closer and kissed his head. "Is he okay? Are you guys al right? What happened?" he asked, looking aroudn and then bringing Cal to the other two so that he could kiss their heads. He let Cal sit beside Remus, he on the other side, gripping the vampire tightly, eyes closing as his ears drooped.

Gideon lifted his head, looking at Pierce and Calix and holding Remus tighter. "They don't know yet..." He sighed. "I think... I think someone tried to poison him."

Leaning over, Calix rested his head on Pierce's shoulder with his hand linked with Remus's. There wasn't really much for any of them to say, because really Gideon had just said it all.

They sat in silence for a while (he lost track of how long) until a doctor finally approached them. Calix sat up quickly, looking at the woman approaching them, hands wringing while waiting for her to speak.

The woman smiled to the group of men. "He is stable. We needed to pump his stomach and he will be staying here for a while, but he is fine. You may go see him now if you would like. Room 304."

"Thank you!" Gideon smiled and he hopped up, taking the other three and beginning to tug them.

The room number had barely come out of her mouth before Remus was rushing forward to find it. He rushed in and made a beeline for the bed that his twin occupied, hugging Romulus with his head on the other male's chest. "Rommy are you okay?" he asked quietly, looking up to take inventory of his face and expression. "Do you remember anything? Who you were around? What you ate? Drank? Did?"

Romulus gasped when his brother basically fell onto him. He laughed a little and leaned over to kiss his head, tugging him up. "I'm okay." he whispered and trailed his fingers through his hair, humming softly as he relaxed, knowing his brother was with him, and even more when he saw the other three filing in. "I'm fine." He let them know and hugged him some more. "And... it was one of the men who wanted to adopt a girl... He gave me the heeby jeebies and so I kept delaying it so I could get him checked out and.. and he juts did not check out."

The silence of the hospital was soon broken by the sound of Relic's voice yelling at the men trying to stop him. "YOU! You go away right this instant! My Mommy-senses were tingling, damnit! My baby's here and he could have DIED you asshole. Go away before you start shitting your teeth for weeks!" He hissed and then clacked his way into the room, no one else really bothering him at the moment. He huffed into the room and gasped. "My baby!" He whined and instantly ran to the other side of Romulus, kissing his forehead. "Are you all right? Do you want me to find who did this to you and beat the shit ou of them, because I will. I completely will-- and who's the random brunette?"
