Welcome to Atlantis Academy! (Lia && Chokuro)

Niko closed his eyes. He knew his brothers loved him. He realized that. Knew it all along, but that did not make him feel any better. He felt horrible right now. He was sick and now his brothers were here and it made him feel more pathetic. Despite hating this whole scenario right now, he still wound up cuddling into Reichen. Only after one more moment, he turned and buried his head into the purple-haired male's side. His eyes closed and his fingers wrapped around the side of his shirt.

He held his brother until the other had drifted to sleep, Reichen's own eyes closing after a little while. The emotions had taken a lot out of him, and it was obvious that Niko was sick or else they wouldn't be holding him here. He looked over to his parents, eyes questioning what was going on. "Can't we help him, Mama?" he asked quietly, desperately.

Tomias sighed as he walked inside. His arms wrapped around his hips and he shook his head a few times. "I do not know." He admitted, looking at the sleeping boy beside Rei and he sighed softly. "The doctor says he may need a new heart." He admitted, rubbing his sides a few times, just fussing and frustrated about the whole thing.

"But why can't you or Uncle Rune fix it?" he asked, half desperate. They could heal anything else, so why not Niko's heart? It didn't make any sense to him. Reichen cuddled closer to Niko, wanting to protect him and fix him and make him feel better. Why couldn't they? He sniffled a little.

Nikkos moved over to his husband's side, wrapping his arms around Tomias' waist, scared out of his wits.

Tomias sighed. "Because it's not a matter of being wounded. His heart is weak. It... It's different." He informed him, eyes staying with his. He hugged his lover a little tighter, kissing his head and closing his eyes, gripping his husband tighter. He did not know what to do. He just did not want to lose him. He wanted to keep his son safe and make Reichen happytoo. It just did not seem to be working right now.

Reichen whimpered at the news, knowing that something like that would be the answer. He nuzzled Niko's hair a little bit, thinking while chewing his bottom lip. He was frustrated that nothing could be done with all the power that his family held. "Why can't we give him some of my strength?" he asked softly, not really expecting any sort of answer. If it was a heart that Niko needed then he knew that he couldn't really help him. It wasn't like someone could cut Reichen's heart in half and grow two whole, perfectly functioning ones.

Tomias sighed softly and walked closer to his son. "Reichen... Sometimes, there are just things that you cannot do." He sat down on the chair beside the bed, looking up at them. "I can do some research." He offered. "See if there is anything that can be done. I just do not really think that there is much to do." He patted his thigh softly. "Just . . . Don't get angry." He added, standing up and then he kissed his forehead.

Nodding, Reichen yawned a little and closed his eyes, ready to sleep. And God help the nurse or doctor who tried to tell him that he couldn't. He felt his Mama bend over and kiss both of their heads but that was all he felt as he drifted off into an exhausted sleep, unwilling to try and think of new ways to help Niko. Reichen felt like he was pushing against a brick wall, and it sucked.

Sighing, Nikkos tugged Tomias up and out into the hallway before wrapping his arms around his husband's waist and nuzzling into his chest. "We have to figure something out, Mias." They had one sick child, and another one who was making himself sick with worry.

Tomias nodded as they stepped out. His arms wrapped around him and he closed his eyes, pressing his head into his shoulder with a heavy sigh. "I know. I will look into it. I promise. I don't want Rei worrying himself into oblivion." He closed his eyes and he kissed his husband's lips, nuzzling him a little more. He did not want both his kids getting ill.

He nodded, not sure what else to say. Nikkos knew that if there was something to help Niko, Tomias would find it. But he still didn't want to get his hopes up. They stood there for a minute before alarms started blaring in the room, and they heard a doctor being paged to Niko's room number. Nikkos was quick to rush in, and (literally) drag Reichen from the bed, where he'd begun to panic. "Mama what's going on? He's blue!!"

Tomias went wide-eyed and rushed in, keeping an arm around Rei to keep him from running off as well. His eyes stayed with their son who was getting bluer and bluer and he quickly pulled both men out of the room as the doctor came in. They were not going to be there if something bad happened. He gripped them tightly and then looked over at the boy on the bed and turned his head away, not wanting to watch.

Nikkos didn't know what to do. His instinct was to stay and help his son, but he knew that the doctors were going to help Niko, and so he allowed Tomias to pull him out of the room. The brunette kept a hold of Reichen, pulling him with them and wrapping his arms around both males once they were out in the hallway.

Reichen fought, trying to pull away with everything he had. He was angry and hurt and upset and worried and scared. And his parents were pulling him out of the room when Niko needed him! How dare they! "No! No I have to be with him!"

Tomias held him tighter, keeping him tightly to his form. "No! you'll only get in the way of the doctors." He huffed and gripped Rei tighter. His eyes closed and he pressed his head into the back of Rei's head. He felt awful. Helpless. It was the more horrible feeling he could have and it was not going away. He closed his eyes, just wanting to help his family.

Time passed and the doctors soon came out, heads hung low and not a single person able to make eye contact. The final doctor made his way out and looked at Tomias and Nikkos. "He... He didn't--" He paused in the middle of his information when he heard a slight bip behind him. Looking over and seeing the heart monitor spiking up once more.

Niko shot up with a deep, shuddering breath, eyes wide as he sat upright. His heart raced and his chest beat up and down, eyes staring in front of him. His hand lifted to clench his shirt, gripping it tightly and gasping for air. He took in a few more deep breaths and slowly relaxed once he got enough air. His eyes closed and he leaned back a little.

The doctor didn't get a word out before Reichen put all his strength into pulling away from his father and pushing past the man who looked so sad. "No!" But he had barely gotten the word out when he saw Niko sit up and take in a deep breath. It felt like his heart had jumped into his throat and the purple haired teen was quickly on the bed and hugging his brother, Tomas on the other side. He'd been standing to the side when everything had happened, and had tried hard to not be a burden on his parents. But this was too much now.

Niko gasped and looked from one brother to the other and sunk into Rei with a hand taking Tomas's. He closed his eyes, gripping the hand tightly while he took in quite a few deep breaths in an attempt at feeling better. It was strange. He felt like he was hit by a bus, but he still feels better. He groaned and then smacked Rei's side. "Don't be a jerk." He added with a little huff, looking up at him, brows furrowing as he stared at him.

"I'm only a jerk because I love you. Don't die." He stuck his tongue out at Niko and reached over to wrap an arm around Tomas, too. He wasn't going to lose either of his brothers if he had anything to say about it. The purple haired male leaned up and kissed both male's cheeks and cuddled in further, nearly biting the hand of a doctor who was attempting to separate the three of them. "Fuck off!" he growled.

Niko sighed and nuzzled him a little bit more. He kissed his brother's cheek and smiled a little warmer. He loved his brother . He loved him so much. He was happy that he was so protective of him. Looking over at the doctor, he giggled and buried himself further into his brother's side. "I love you, both of you." he added and pulled Tomas closer to him.

Nikkos apologized to the doctor, but knew it was useless to try to drag the boys away from each other at the moment. The brunette moved into the room to check for himself that Niko was indeed still alive, and when he was satisfied that he was, the brunette sank into Tomias' side and hugged him tightly. It was difficult to keep his composure, but knew that he had to for the sake of their children.

Tomas nuzzled into both of his brothers, glad that Niko was okay, at least for the moment. The demon situated himself so that the other two could be more comfortable, but refusing to let go or even get out of the bed.

The next few years passed and Niko only got better. He was getting stronger and he was growing into a handsome man with a slightly more muscled body, more so actually looking like he was not anorexic, but still skinny. Looked good though, very good. He loved his brothers more and more. He had so much fun being with them, and with fewer appointments, he always felt better.

This day was his eighteenth birthday and the brunette was smiling as he walked around his room to get ready. Pulling on his pants and then his button down shirt and vest, looking casually good. He went to the mirror, beginning to brush his hair.

"Well. Don't you look pretty." The voice caused Niko to freeze mid-way through his hair. Slowly, he turned to see the demon behind him. The demon reached a good height of seven feet, muscled, with dark blue skin. His eyes were completely white, aside from the red pupils in the center. He looked over at him, long flowing white hair fell in a long braid to the top of his butt. "Perfect for your wedding day."

It was Reichen's birthday, too, and the purple haired teen was trying to tie his tie without success. He hated these freaking things! Whining, he went to walk into Niko's room, only to walk into something solid that definitely was not his brother. And when the words "wedding day" passed through his ears, he was confused, and then defensive when he saw that Niko was stiff. "Ni?" Reichen pushed the man out of the way and entered the room to go to his brother. "Ni who is this? What's going on? Mama!!"

"Um..." Niko gripped his brother's hand tightly, not wanting him to leave.

The man pouted. "You did not tell them about me? oh how hurt I am." He stated, hand resting on his chest and he looked over to see a huffing and cursing Tomias coming up the stairs, only to stare at him. The demon winked then turned to the two in front of him. "I'm your little brother's fiance. Or has he not told you how he came back to life?"

Niko blushed and his eyes fell to the ground, hand tightening around Rei's. He did not want this to be real.

Looking between the demon and his brother, Reichen wasn't sure what to think. "W--what? Niko?" When he got no answer the purple haired teen turned to his father, and his mother and brother who had all raced upstairs. Tomas had stepped forward to try to offer support, but he was unaware of what was going on and just as confused as Reichen. "Papa? Mama? What does he mean? What's going on?"

"It was how I came back!" He shouted after a while of silence. "I was DEAD! I ... I wasn't going to survive and... and he came to me. And he said... he said he could bring me back and even heal me." He blushed and let go of his brother's hand, wrapping his arms around his torso tightly. "All... All he wanted was when I turn eighteen, I marry him and... and it seemed ... ridiculous that I would even come back but um, I accepted and um... This is Azazel." He turned to Rei, tears welling. "I'm sorry."

"No!"

No this couldn't be happening! Why wouldn't Niko have told him this? Why would he have done something like that? "No you're lying! That's not true!" He turned to the stranger, knowing that he couldn't physically harm him and that made him feel even more powerless. "You tricked him! Papa help him!!" Reichen felt Tomas' arms around his middle, trying to offer him comfort.

"I did not trick him at all, you little twerp." He hissed before pulling out a contract and rolling it out for him to read. "Paragraph three, line eight. In exchange for healing your health problems and bringing you back to life, I, Niko Arcule, accept Azazel -- that's me -- as my fiance and my husband the day I turn eighteen." He then held ito ut for the boy to read. "Flat out. No trickery. No first borns or whatever. Plain and simple. I find if it gets too complicated, there are ways that someone can get out of them." He batted a hand in the air.
