Scorpius let everything sank in as he finished off the food that he'd been given. It was definitely a lot to think about. A family? But that would mean parents, who would tell him what to do. The blond had been on his own for longer than he could remember, and there had never been anyone to tell him what he could or could not do. And he didn't like the idea of it happening. He could take care of himself. Still, the blond said nothing and instead just shrugged to the offer. He didn't want to be rude, but didn't want to commit to anything, either.

"Thank you for the food." Scorpius gave a genuine smile to all three males that were in the room. "Would you mind if I used your bathroom before I go?"

Zeke looked up at the other, staring at him for a while before he shook his head. "Of course not. If you want to get cleaned up, I can find some clothes that will fit you for you to change into." He offered, not wanting him to feel unclean or anything else. He personally did not really like being dirty, but that was him. HE was weird. Obviously. "You can say no. Trust me, in this family, you sort of have to or else you're weird."

"Oh. Um. Thanks but I, uh. Well I don't know when I'd be able to return them so... Yeah thanks." This smile was a nervous one as the blond scooted from the chair and headed out into the main part of the house in search of the bathroom. It took him a minute, but he did find it. Scorpius closed and locked the door behind him before turning the sink on to scrub his face and neck and hands. The blond used a little soap and washed his hair quickly and his finger with a little toothpaste to brush his teeth as best he could. After using the toilet, the blond took inventory.

He was truly uncomfortable with the entire situation, and it was why he avoided knocking on doors-he hated the pity. But he also felt bad saying 'no' when help was offered, especially after he'd begged for help not ten minutes earlier.

Relic rushed into the room a moment later. He looked around from one side to the other, sniffing a few times. He straightened up a little more. "There's a new person in here!" he announced and looked around, trying to find where the other had gone to. "Lemme see him! I WANT TO DRESS HIIIIM!" He whined, whimpering a little more before he turned to look at Nikkos and bouncing a few times on his feet. "Can I?! can i?! "

Zeke arched a brow. "Uncle Relic. he's probably going to leave. We're weird, don't you know? he's probably finding a way out of the bathroom window as we speak."

Nikkos couldn't help but laugh. He patted Relic on the head and sent him into the kitchen. "I think Zeke is right. The boy has probably lived on the streets since he was a toddler. It's what he knows and even the offer of a stable home scares his pants off." The brunette set a cup of tea in front of his brother in law. "When he comes out, I think the best thing we can offer him is help whenever he needs it." Nikkos had a feeling that even that offer would go without being taken. "So, you may offer to give him a new outfit, but do not be hurt if he declines." Nikkos stuck his tongue out at both Relic and Zeke while turning to pack some sandwiches and other bits of food for Scorpius to take with him.

Sighing, Scorpius figured he might as well get back out there and try to get his way out of the house without being kidnapped. The blond slipped into the kitchen, hoping to go unnoticed long enough for him to justify leaving without a word.

Relic groaned. His arms wrapped around his torso and he hugged his form tightly. He bit his bottom lip when he saw the boy, biting it tighter and stifling his squeal. He looked at the other and took in a deep breath. "can I please make you an outfit! Oh please oh please! you're so sexy and cute and ooooh please I have a perfect idea!" He squealed at that and clamped his hands over his mouth.

Zeke arched a brow. "And at the very least you can always sell a Relic Lin original."

Scorpius couldn't help the reaction to back up from the man who sounded (and looked) like he was about to explode. The blond looked nervous, and he looked to Nikkos, who seemed to be the sane one. The brunette chuckled a little bit and moved over to him, handing him a bag.

"You're welcome to come back, Scorpius. Our house is always open for food, or a bed, or clothes, or a shower... Whatever you need. And we hope that you'll take us up on it." He put a hand on the blond's slight shoulder and squeezed gently. "What Relic is offering, in his own neurotic way, is a change of clothes-to keep-before you go."

"Oh..." Scorpius' voice was quiet as he contemplated it. "Thank you but I don't want to stand out when I go back..." It was the truth, at least. The blond was a bit worried that if he showed up with new clothes, he would be a target and then so would this family once the street kids followed him back here...which was why he'd never come back.

Relic whimpered softly and then turned to Ezekiel with a pout. "YOU! You're getting a new outfit! since no one's having kids!" he huffed and then walked out of the room, waving to the boy and smiling. "You're welcome to come back any time! Nikkos and Tomias haven't been having kids lately so they have plenty space." He winked then skipped out to giggle and go make something for his nephew.

Ezekiel laughed softly and then turned to look at the blond, waving to him. "Please come back! I promise we may be more relaxed when you come back." he grinned some more.

"I...um. I'll think about it." That was the truth, too. Scorpius would think about coming back, but he never would. These people had been very kind to help him and he refused to put them at risk from the other street kids who would likely destroy the house or worse. The blond thanked everyone before slipping away and out the door. He took off into a run when he was about halfway down the driveway, disappearing around the corner.

Ezekiel made his way down the streets. His mohawk spiked and bright rainbow as normal. He looked from one side to another then back in front of him. His arms crossed over his torso and his hips swayed from one side to another, just trying to think of where he should wander to. He did not want to come back home yet. his ears happily twitch atop his head, his tail actually poked out from his pants and doing the same.

Digging through trash cans was not glamorous at all. And it was worse when you had pneumonia, because bending over at the waist made it that much more difficult to breathe. Scorpius stood up, coughing hard and then puking into the trash can he'd been digging through. Just that thought was enough to make his stomach roll again. The blond groaned and leaned against the lamp post to catch his breath and stop the world from spinning around him, wishing he had a warm bed to snuggle into and feel better in.

Zeke perked up as he heard someone getting sick. He turned to the side, seeing Scorpius and he straightened up some more. He walked over to the blond, eyes staying with the man. "Scorpius?" He asked, walking to him and he leaned to the side to look at him. "Oh my... You do not look well." He groaned and looped his arm around his form. "Come on. I'm taking you home. You are going to get some rest and you'll get a change of clothes." He sighed, pulling him tighter to his side while he began to walk with the boy.

Even if he had wanted to argue, he was way too weak to. Scorpius only groaned, and hoped that whoever was talking to him (he was too out of it to tell) wasn't taking him to his death. Though, if he thought about it, perhaps death would be a nice option to feeling the way he felt right then... The blond leaned heavily into his escort, allowing himself to be lead away from the streets and into the warmth of a house. But he didn't remember much else.

Bustling through the house to clean, Calder was in the front hall when Ezekiel walked through with an obviously very sick boy in his arms. "Oh..." Shaking his head slightly, the blond hurried up the steps before his son to turn down the bed in the guest bedroom and lay out a set of clean, cool pajamas for the boy. "Rune! We're going to need some cool wash cloths please!"

Ezekiel moved into the bathroom with the boy. He started up a warm bath for him so that he could wash him up and make sure that he was getting cleaned from any grime before he would help him into the pajamas. He was meticulous and made sure that he was cleaned properly. He washed his arms and legs and everything before helping Scorpius out of the tub. "All right. Let's get you dressed and you'll rest." He whispered and then wrapped the warm towels around him. His arms kept around his form and he hugged him as he walked to the bed.

Putting the clothes onto the male, he easily tucked him into bed and turned to Calder. "Papa. What do I do now? Make him better. I want him better..."

Calder helped get the male into pajamas after he was dried, and settled him into the bed with a light blanket put over him. The blond smiled at his son and hugged him a little. "I know, baby. Pneumonia is tricky to heal, though." While he had had his husband's power to heal for many, many years now, Calder didn't have much practice with it (thank goodness). He could heal major wounds, but internal things like colds and flus and pneumonias were out of his league. "He'll pull out of it. Let him rest for the night and if he's not better by morning, we'll call Jupiter."

He huffed, arms crossing over his torso and he pouted. "Fine fine!" He mumbled before flopping onto a chair. His right leg lifted to drape over his left and he leaned against the cushy back, staring at the sleeping blond. "I'm waiting for him to wake up and feel better then." He stated, his tail wiggled a little while his ears fell against his head.

Knowing that he wasn't going to change Ezekiel's mind, Calder just shrugged and left the room, tugging on an ear lovingly as he left. The blond went back downstairs, looking for his husband to inform him of their house guest, and their son's attachment to said house guest, even though Rune likely already knew.

Rune looked over at his love and kissed his lips softly. "Bring him dinner and keep a water there for his friend." He stated, having heard the commotion and more knowing their son than anything else. "At least he's only attached to one. Though, Kiah and Deimos seem to nicely be sharing Jethro." He paused before shaking his head and poked his love's nose. "Just htink! When they all find lovers and get out of my fucking house, more chocolate for me, and more chocolate on you." He purred and kissed his lips.

"I'm surprised that you're sharing Kiah so nicely," he teased, kissing his husband and wrapping his arms around Rune's middle to hug him for a minute. Calder kissed Rune a few more times, laughing at his lover's chocolate obsession, and moved to the kitchen to get dinner ready. "Maybe if you looked harder, you'd find your own private stashes around the house..." Calder had been careful to stash away chocolate over the house for Rune to find. He wasn't sure if his husband had, but Calder would be amused if he hadn't.

Rune grumbled. "Only because it's weird if I freak out." He mumbled with a little pout. His arms crossed over his torso and he then leaned against the wall. His eyes closed before standing up and walking over to him, kissing the cook of his neck. "I already found my stashes, love... and so have the little brats."

He laughed, shaking his head a bit. "That's what you get for being so lovable that kids just attach themselves to you." Calder smiled at his husband and continued to cook effortlessly, falling into the work easily and willingly. In no time he'd whipped up a meatloaf with mashed potatoes, brown gravy and fresh broccoli. Calder made three plates, setting two at the table (since the rest of the kids were off somewhere), and turning to bring one upstairs, pecking Rune's lips on the way out of the room.

"Eat," he ordered while setting the plate on a TV tray next to Ezekiel. "I refuse to care for two sick children when one could have been avoided."

Rune sighed heavily. "I don't like them!" He protested with a little groan. He sat and began to eat, shoving the meatloaf in his mouth and smiling a little while he watched the other walk off. He grinned and then turned his attention to the food.

Zeke looked up at him and pouted. "Fine fine." He stuck his tongue out at him, taking a bite of the meatloaf and sighing softly. He looked over at the teen on the bed, nibbling on his lip while he waited for him to wake up and feel better already!

He shook his head. "Worrying yourself is not going to make him wake up any faster, Ezekiel." Calder picked up the dirty clothes and folded them on the dresser so he could bring them downstairs to be washed. "And when he does wake up, be prepared for the chance that he could want to leave." Calder kissed the top of his son's head and left the room, taking the clothes with him. Only after they were put into the washer did he join his husband at the table, though the blond straddled Rune's lap rather than taking his own seat, giving the other man a wicked smile.

Zeke stuck his tongue out. "Then I'll just stand here naked. He can't resist that!" He protested, pouting as he watched him leave, sticking his tongue out before relaxing into the cair again. He sighed, munching on the meatloaf and smiling. It really was good. He loved his Papa's cooking.

Rune looked up at him, smirking as he did so. "Why hello." He purred, leaning up to kiss his neck , moving from the side to the front and down to where his shirt began. "Mm... You would make a lovely dessert."

Calder wrapped his legs around Rune's waist and bent his head to nip at his husband's neck and shoulder, groaning in response. "The same could be said for you..." He kissed his lover, pressing their bodies together tightly and grinding their hips together. "How 'bout a bath?" he mumbled, kissing Rune once again before the other man could answer. "And a week in Avalon...alone." The kids were big enough to watch themselves, and they had three uncles and an aunt in the same house to watch over them, too. "With no clothes."
