Looking for Additional Recruits

We are looking to fill one more slots with a character that will play as an Ectoplast, staff or student.

Introductions

So I've read several threads and I'd like to propose a role play which spans across different interests which include (but not limited to): latex, tentacles, slime, magic, students, mental changes, bondage, transformations, mind control, hypnosis.

Latex, 'slimy creatures' and magic in a University/Academic setting will play a core part of the theme of this role play. However, since I imagine this to be free form, other subjects such as mental changes, mind control, soft vore, bondage, transformation, etc... can all happen. If some of you have questions about what is acceptable in this roleplay, don't be afraid to ask.

World Setting

The setting is very much parallel to the Hogwarts setting insofar as it is a world of magic hidden away from the modern world of mundanes. In this particular setting, the realms of Earth are made up of two realms: one is the Earth we know today and the other one is a parallel Earth where a few million wizards, witches and fantasy creatures live. In the middle of all that, ther is one of many magic academies tucked away within this wonder filled parallel reality. In this world, wizards and witches are 'defenders of the realms' against the demons who constantly attempt to corrupt and invade the realms of Earth. This conflict is as old as the world. Of course, all of this magical world is hidden away from modern society. Because of their powers, wizards and witches can easily travel between the realms, and there are several wizarding offices and outposts in the mundane world that act as bases where wizards and witches can keep and eye on things.

Races

Players can play either male, female or futa humans, elves or (genderless) Ectoplasts. If someone wants to play something else, let me know, there is always room for new ideas. The RP also hosts demons as NPC's.

About the Ectoplasts

Ectoplast are amorphous (i.e. no bones or cartilage) creatures, either made of slime or gelatinous flesh of different shapes and sizes, who are sentient. There are friendly Ectoplasts (i.e. those that side with the wizarding world in defense of the realms of Earth) as well as not so friendly Ectoplasts (i.e. those that side with the Demons). Ectoplasts are significantly different from other creatures insofar as they need Orgone (i.e. sexual energy released during orgasm) in order to sustain themselves and they can secrete various types of slimes which are laced with skin contact chemicals capable of a variety of effects such as paralysis, arousal, confusion, etc... Slimes are also very magically gifted and are able to cast spells without the need of a magic wand.

The Factions

Players will be able to role play one of the following:

Student, Professor, Staff, Head Master, GM/DM

Moreover, students at the Academy will be slotted into different Houses (think 'Sorting Hat').

The Premise

The story starts on your first day of a new semester at the academy. This will be the first time attending any sort of magic school/academy for players role playing students. The academy itself is pretty new as well since Ectoplasts are relatively new to the realms of Earth. The academy was created in order to help bridge the divide between humans and friendly Ectoplasts, both of whom now strive the defend the realms of Earth against the Demons.

Now, this isn't just ANY magic academy, it's the only academy where humans and Ectoplasts co-exist side-by-side. One of the side effects of this co-existence is that all humans (students, professors, etc...) must always wear protective latex clothing (totally enclosing) in order to protect themselves from the slime of the Ectoplasts. Even if the Ectoplasts attending the academy are friendly, this doesn't prevent humans from being accidentally exposed to the slime from Ectoplasts, something which can have very adverse side-effects. The suits are also designed to allow for 'relations' between humans and Ectoplasts while ensuring the safety of the human.

The roleplay will be about the trials and tribulations of students and professors and the head master/mistress in this new semester. Attacks from demons, surreptitiously plots to subvert the academy, traps, etc..., all these things will be present. Because everyone is in latex, things like bondage, D/S, BDSM among humans will naturally develop. Romances will spring forth, infatuations, etc... Some may use things like magical mind control to try and get their way with those they want to be with. Who knows, this world is full of possibilities.

Other Stuff

Although this is a free from RP, each player will be asked to fill in a character sheet with some basic attributes. Things like combat or succeeding at particular things will be decided by a roll of the dice. A Discord server will be made to host OOC things, character sheets, dice rolling, etc... However, the roleplay will most definitely be within Blue Moon Roleplaying forums. And if people can't use Discord, we can always figure something else out to host the OOC stuff, etc...

Who Can You Play As?

1. Student (either humanoid or Ectoplast)
2. Professor or staff (either humanoid or Ectoplast)
3. Head Master/Mistress (either humanoid or Ectoplast)
4. DM/GM/Narrator. This role is for people who want to take over the role of NPC's, random monsters and altogether help push the roleplay forward.

If you are interested in playing, please give a basic idea of the type of character you'd like to play, your interests (i.e. likes/dislikes). People that sign up should be ready to post everyday or every other day. So if you only log on to the web site once a week, please don't sign up. Roleplayers will hopefully be 'wordy' in their posts :)

Who is Signed Up

1. FrightOrFlight will play as an Ectoplast librarian
2. Gannameade will play as an Ectoplast (with Changeling powers) Professor and Sports coach
3. Abbey Chase will play as a human female student.
4. THErolplayer will play as a human male student who is 'slightly' psychopathic, whatever that means :)
5. Charianna will play as a human female student.
6. Kinkyponygirl will pas as a female Amazon Head Mistress.
7. bodman54 will play as a human male human student.
8. AlphaLoverBoy will play a female student.
9. Archet will play as an Ectoplast student.
10. Random Weirdo will play as a female student.

Well if you'll have me I think I'll go female elf student ^^ Shes quite quiet and meek and tends to get pushed about a bit because people take advantage of her nice nature ^^

I don't know what roll 20 is, but if it's some sort of dice, that sounds fine. I'd like to hear more about what roll 20 is if you can spare the time.

Roll20 is an online table top RP site, usually used for DnD and systems like that. It has dice and character sheets.

I only meant like he is manipulatively and an liar not a full on murderer, he also has some obsessions and stuff

It's all good THEroleplayer. I was just jesting and perhaps making a a very slight of a GOT reference (i.e. please don't burn Kings Landing) ;-)

Here is my character sheet and background/lead in story:

Name: Abbey Chase
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 137 lbs
Languages: English (proper British accent like Kate Beckinsale)
Body Type and Appearance: Fit yet Feminine. Perfect waistline, flat stomach, perky F cup breasts, long toned legs, perfect heart shaped ass, face of an angel... Basically, one in ten million! Abbey has shoulder length light brown hair, distinctive bright grey eyes and a great posture, which is surprising considering her large breasts.
Unusual Traits: Abbey has an eidetic memory and it unusually beautiful. She's an avid swimmer and ever since she began modelling, also became really interested in photography.

Background and Lead In Story
Abbey was adopted out of an orphanage when she was just a few days old. Her biological parents remain unknown to her. Only a few months after being adopted, her father would leave her and her mom behind to fend for themselves. Abbey ended up growing up in a small apartment that her mother was able to afford in South Kensington, a suburd of London. Her mother worked as an administrative assistant at Lloyd's of London while also holding a plurality of part-time jobs here and there to make ends meet. Abbey proved to be a quiet young lady with a stellar academic standing (because of her eidetic memory) and a strong work ethic, which she inherited from her mother.

It would become apparent at a young age that not only would Abbey grown up to be a smart young woman, she would also turn out to be a real looker. At the mere age of 12, Abbey started modelling to help her mother pay the rent and before long, Abbey's part time modelling was making more money than her mothers full and part time jobs combined. Abbey would become a really high in demand young model, but she didn't let that get to her head as she saved her money and continued to live a thrifty lifestyle and maintain her stellar academic standing at school. Her mother made sure to keep Abbey grounded with a strong head on her shoulders. By the time she was 16, Abbey was a somewhat famous model and her considerable savings allowed her to buy her and her mom a nice single family house (fully paid) on Sheen Common Drive in the neighborhood of Richmond Upon Thames in London.

But just as life was looking up, Abbey's mom would fall ill with a life threatening disease. Abbey would put her modelling career on hold while she took care of her mom during the long hard road to recovery. Although her mother did her best to continue working through her crippling sickness which was a testament to her work ethic and sense of duty, Abbey ended up inhering a lot of the workload from her mother. Between school, taking care of her mom, doing all the housework and the cooking and taking her mom to all of her medical appointments, as well as working out to maintain her modelling figure, Abbey ended up with very little time for socializing, after school activities or fun. She certainly didn't have time to go on dates, think about boys or hang with the girls after school. Whatever spare time Abbey had was filled with local modelling jobs in order to help pay the bills since her mother was no longer able work enough hours to pay all the bills. By the time Abbey was 17 going on 18, her mother would finally show signs of recovery as things began to settle down.

By that time, and because of her stellar academic standing, Abbey was already getting scholarship offers from prestigious academic institutions such as Oxford University. Her mother's past illness had a significant impact on Abbey as she considered going into medicine and becoming a researcher, inspired by the desire to cure diseases so that no one else had to suffer like her mom had suffered. Abbey felt significantly torn between resuming her jet setting modelling career which was guaranteed to make her a lot of money or, going to University full time to become a doctor and well.... save the world. But soon after her 18th birthday and her final exams, something quite unexpected would happen, something that would forever change Abbey's direction in life. Something magical...

On a dark and stormy night, while reading a book in her room, Abbey would hear her mother scream in fright following by the sounds of a struggle and some strange growling. Hurrying to the living room where her mom was watching the tele, Abbey stumbled upon her mother being held up against the wall by the throat, by a horned humanoid beast of hellish origins. Seeing Abbey, the beast would immediately let go of her mom and turn it's focus on Abbey as it lunged towards her as if to attack her!!! But just as it was about to strike, the room would fill with a blinding light and mere seconds later there would be nothing but a pile of ash on the ground where the horned creature once was. Abbey was in absolutely shock, but her stupor was short lived as she noticed that her mother was bleeding from a throat injury. Without noticing the robed man standing in the archway separating the living room from the dining room, Abbey would leap forth to the aid of her injured mother, but no sooner was she about to apply first aid to stop the bleeding that she felt a strange force push her away as the robed man stepped forward while waiving a wand and enunciating something in a strange exotic language. A faint pink light would glow around the wound on her mother's neck and seconds later, there injury and the blood were gone... Immediately after than, the strange man would cast another spell knocking both Abbey and her mother out.

When she woke up, Abbey was lying in her bed. She would try to get up, but she was unable to move or speak. Just then, the strange man from the living room would come into view. He would ask her to remain calm before going on to explain some pretty unbelievable things to Abbey, from the revelation that she was magically gifted, to the even more shocking revelation that the horned creature had come to kill her. The man told her that as long as she lived with her mother, her mother would be at risk since demons didn't discriminate too much when it came to killing humans. The robed man went on to explain that Abbey would be offered the opportunity to join a prestigious magical academy where she could discover and develop her magical abilities. And although Abbey remembered everything from that evening, the man told Abbey that her mother would have no recollection of what happened and asked Abbey to keep what she knew a secret.

Finding all of this a bit hard to believe, Abbey would eventually try and talk to her mother without revealing anything, but just as the robed man said, her mom remembered nothing extraordinary about the evening, other that watching the tele. Just when Abbey thought that perhaps she had pulled a nutty and the previous nights events were just some sort of mental breakdown that played out in her head, Abbey would find a strange gold embossed letter sitting on her desk in her room. Upon opening it, it would be an official invitation to the magical academy, whereupon the invitation specified that someone would come by to pick her up the next morning so that she can come and visit the academy... And so Abbey's magical journey would begin.

@frightorflight @LittleDragon @Gannameade @Haluesen @THErolplayer

I've decided to do away with all the GURP stuff since not many people seemed interested. This will be replaced by a short "Unusual Traits" section which anyone call fill in as they please. If you are staff or professors and the such, you have really great magical abilities and skill. All students have magical potential, but no one has any magical abilities.

I'm a little confused with how it works so if we could talk on pm to help me out that would be great

Yeah you might have to explain this one to me too... backstory I can do, but GURP goes over my head. It's been a while!

The GURP'ish stuff is only used when someone tries to do things like, cast a spell, or attempt a specific skill, or do something to someone. By using the GURP system, we can inject a level of unpredictability in the roleplay. I'll gladly do the GURP'ish stuff on everyone's behalf if you give me a good description of your characters and back story seeing that I'm good enough with GURP to fill that stuff up. Alternatively, if most people really don't want it, we can get rid of it altogether.
[automerge]1558488367[/automerge]
So after some thought, you'll notice in the character sheet that I submitted earlier that I've removed the GURP stuff. Let's focus on the roleplay instead. The DM/GM will decide on skills, etc.. on the basis of the attempt being easy, moderately difficult, difficult, really difficult and nearly impossible. For example, if someone that just entered the Academy who doesn't know how to cast magic tries to cast magic missile, their task will be considering near impossible for their existing level of skill. We will use a 20 sided dice to decide the success of whatever the task is. T accomplish something easy , roll 2 or above, for something moderately difficult, roll 5 or above, for something difficult, roll a 10 or above, for something really difficult, roll a 15 or above and for something nearly impossible, you have to roll a 20.

By using this approach, most of the complexity of GURP is removed while maintaining some element of randomization which is based on a basic roll of the dice (i.e. even the DM/GM doesn't absolutely control everything).

It should be noted that when attempting any difficulty of skill except for "nearly impossible", rolling a 20 is considered a critical success and comes with a boon (i.e. if you are searching for information in a tome and roll a 20, not only do you find the information you are looking for, but you also find other really interesting information). If you roll a 1 on anything, it's a critical failure and that comes with a curse of some sorts.

How does that sound to everyone? Please let me know.

Sure, welcome to the academy! Please look at the character profile above and hereby post your character profile submission in here.

Maybe, instead of the gurps system we could use something like DnD 5e. It's a good introductory system and just applying it for skill checks would be pretty simple to teach everyone.

So do our characters have to be British? Or does this academy accept students from all over

Students from all over. I didn't think of starting any new thread for character profiles. I'll look into it. For now, post in here please.

Maybe, instead of the gurps system we could use something like DnD 5e. It's a good introductory system and just applying it for skill checks would be pretty simple to teach everyone.

I think using any kind of system will run into the same issues as with GURP, there is someone who isn't going to be familiar with the system. I'd rather not use any system and focus on just roleplaying. The DM/GM will be able to do some really rudimentary dice rolling to induce some level of chaos into things, but this should be about it.

I think it will be me at first, but it would be fun if someone would step up and become the GM (since I am also a student).

Tell you what! I'll get the ball rolling (just to set the stage) but if you want to pick up after that, I am 100% for that. The alternative is that you would be responsible for DM/GM'ing when my own character is involved (i.e. when NPC interact with Abbey, when tracks, random events, etc.... involve Abbey, you would drive that). Which of that sounds interesting?

Also, I started a new thread at |·._.·´¯ ✨ Deepwood Academy of Magic ✨ ¯`·._.·| - Character Profiles where people should all go and put their character profiles.

I think I like the idea of slowly getting into it so DMing your character and as I get more comfortable taking a bit more responsibility sounds good

Okay so after introductions are made, etc... I will DM/GM for all characters BUT my own and you'll DM/GM events/NPCs/traps/etc... for my character.

Sounds like a plan! Will work on profile tonight ^^ Also donwe have to be a first year student?

Name: Jayden Jareau
Apparent Age: 33
Actual Age: 2718 years old
Gender: Female
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 165 lbs
Languages: English
Body Type and Appearance: A strong muscular feminine frame with a six-pack stomach, strong legs, D cup breasts, a tight ass, and the face of a beautiful woman oozing with confidence... Jayden has this strong confident posture and walks with the gate of someone in charge. It's obvious that Jayden keeps really fit.
Unusual Traits: A fit body with impeccable muscle tone. An exceptional charisma and obviously, second to none magical skills.

Jayden Jareau was born from an Amazon witch in the City of Themyscira which sat near the edge of Mount Olympus in the ream of magic. Soon after her birth, her Amazon mother and her human father would move to Sparta in the realm of the mundanes where Jayden grew up focused on learning the skills of combat and fighting with the daughters of Ares. In fact, she was one of the first amazons to ever train in the realm of the mundanes and her life was but for one purpose, and that was war. She was one of the warriors that learned fast from a young age. Horse riding, archery, sword fighting were common days for her, but as she grew older, she yearned for more.

Once she hit the age of 33, she stopped aging and she left her homeland with her shield, sword, spear, armor and the clothing on her back. She chose a life of wonder and freedom, the life of a mercenary. It was all she knew since her birth. In her lifetime she had seen Sparta rise with all Greek city states to fight against the Persian empire, not once but twice and both times she took part. She had seen Alexander the great conquer most what was known as Europe. Her travels took her to the east where she helped in China and all sorts of rebellions. Her most cherished memory was being present when Sun Tzu wrote The Art of War.

As the time grew, as she watched her many families and loved ones grow old and die, Jayden became weary with her immortal life. With much regret, it would seem that her immortality did not pass down to her offsprings.

Looking to find new roots and new adventures, Jayden managed to find her way back to the realm of magic around the the year 1400, where she found her way to a small town in the forest of Deepwood. This is where she met her new love and settled down. Apart from being a powerful wizard, her husband proved to be a passionate teacher and under his guidance, Jayden quickly learned the ways of magic and immediately fell in love with the art, since it opened up so many new possibilities. As fate would have it, Jayden turned out to be just as adept with magic as she was with a sword and shield. Her husband's passion for teaching grew into a much greater vision of establishing an Academy of magic in Deepwood. As a good wife, Jayden supported her husband through all the trials and tribulations of slowly but surely establishing the Deepwood Academy of Magic, nestled in Deepwood forest, just a few miles away from the village by the same name. On it's inauguration, Jayden was surprised by her husband as he named her the Headmistress of the school, revealing to her that the academy was always meant to be a gift to her for all the joy and pleasure she gave him. Jayden found happiness and fulfillment running the Academy with her husband at her side and for decades, life was perfect. But as in her past many years, time would eventually rob her of her love and she would once again find herself alone, but the Academy gave her solace and purpose.

Without her husband by her side, maintaining her position as Headmistress of the Academy proved to be challenging. Many in the ministry of magic dismissed her abilities because of her gender and because of her heritage, but Jayden's proved to be a formidable foe as she navigated the intricacies of politics and power with grace and confidence. Although the Deepwood Academy of Magic was originally only meant for wizards (i.e. men), Jayden secretly ran a small shadow academy for witches, teaching gifted women how to wield magic as well, if not better, than most wizards. With a strong desire to bring gender equality into the ranks of the ministry of magic, Jayden began a long and grueling campaign to promote inclusivity for witches everywhere. Armed with her charisma, her tenaciousness and her powers of persuasion, Jayden managed to bring a few witches into the Academy, but her vision was not without tribulations. The bold changes promoted by Jayden were met with much resistance, many threats as well as one assassination attempt. At one point she was even burned alive as the school was taken over by a different Headmaster, but the overthrow attempt was brief. Undeterred, Jayden continued her fight for gender equality and, with time, her tenaciousness bore fruit. The Deepwood Academy of Magic would become one of the first academies to host both wizards and witches and, in time, witches wove their way into the highest ranks in the ministry of magic. In great part because of Jayden's crusade, witches are now considered essential to the wizarding world and the ministry of magic. In fact, most of the highest ranking members of the ministry of magic are all witches.

As the modern age came into being, Headmistress Jareau continued to enjoy her love of magic, and teaching and running the Academy which continued to grow and evolve into the modern age. While the realms of the mundane embraced modern technology and industrialization, the realms of magic remained the same, unspoiled by industrialization and the stain of capitalism. The wizarding world continue to focus on their task of defending the realms of Earth against demon incursions. But in 2009, something changed as the demons devised a new type of incursion which would shake the wizarding world to it's core and almost spell it's doom. The terrible conflict introduced Ectoplasts to the realm of magic and while the Ectoplasts were mortal enemies at first, Headmistress Jareau's wisdom discerned that not all Ectoplasts were enemies, that in fact most of them were forced to work for the demons as slaves. She would once again make her mark in the pages of history by successfully bridging the gap between humanoids and Ectoplasts, but successfully managing to convince the ministry of magic that Ectoplasts could be valuable allies against the fight with demons. Her considerable influence made her task much more easier this time around and from that, her academy became the first academy to accept Ectoplasts as students and staff.

The school was finally allowed to bring different races into the mix, Elves, humans, Ectoplasts were finally allowed to share the same roof to learn. When it came to allow the first new students into the Academy, she was the one waiting outside the door, watching her students rush into their new home. The Deepwood Academy of Magic would adopt some pretty unorthodox rules, including the mandatory need to wear all enclosing latex by all of it's humanoid students and staff. Although latex proved to be a great mechanism to protect against exposure to the slime of Ectoplasts, for Jayden, latex had a much greater significance and played a key role in bringing to reality many of her kinks...

Sounds like a plan! Will work on profile tonight ^^ Also donwe have to be a first year student?

Yes, all students will be first year students. Since you are elf, you already know about magic and all that and probably have developed some minor magical skills. But this is first year University and you'll be studying side by side with new students coming from the realm of the mundane.

It should be noted that the reason why you are probably here is because up to just a few years ago, magic was cast using wands and staves. The Academy, with the help of Ectoplasts, is the only Academy teaching the new way of casting magic using no magical implements. It will be as new to you as it is to the mundanes since it's significantly different from what is considered 'regular' magic.

If everyone is a first year student, it makes it easier to mingle, study together, etc... Without that, you might end up all by yourself and that would be really boring.

Well, it would seem like we have some new openings. Looking for people who'd like to role play as a humanoid female student or as an Ectoplast student.
