She made a noise. "Will you at least allow me to grab the potions first?" She asked.

They looked at each other and nodded before letting her go. They climbed off their horses and chuckled coyly.

She sighed and moved into the cart before grabbing some vials.

When they came up to the back of the wagon, Gio launched out from under the blankets and drove his sharp teeth through one's neck, his pupils full over his eyes in his anger.

She gasped and screamed as she tried to pull him back. "G-Gio, no, we have to go..!" She said.

He ripped out the man's throat and threw him aside before going for the other, who only screamed in terror as the giant shark fell on him.

She sighed softly and moved to start preparing the body for burial.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He stood over the corpses, covered in blood and body shaking, but he looked sad, "Sereina...? Did I upset you...?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She shook her head. "You saved me, and I am grateful for it.."

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"You sound upset..." He muttered and looked down, eyes distant. He was dissociating.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She made a noise and moved to kiss his cheek. "Help me bury these please..? We can hide the saddles and set the horses loose.. then we can be on our way.."

He nodded and moved to start digging in a thicker part of the brush, burying the two guards and helping her to free their horses, "I can help sell their saddles or...whatever you wanted to do with them.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She made a noise. "If we could strip the saddles of the Crown's mark, we could get a pretty penny for them.." she moved to grab a potion to help him relax, and started off with the cart once everything was said and done.

He drank it and hid under the blankets again, "I'm sorry, pearl...you must think less of me now..."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She shook her head. "You saved me from those awful men, Gio.. I think it would be best for both of us if we tried to forget this.."

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Ok.." He muttered. He would have to make it up to her somehow.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She made a noise and focused on the road, the next hour feeling like a silent eternity.

His claws moved over her thighs slowly, petting her gently almost as an apology.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She smiled softly and gently pat his hand.

"I love you so much, Sereina..." He said softly.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"I love you too, Gio.. so much.." she said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He gave a soft sigh of delight, glad she wasn't angry or scared of him. He didn't know what he would do if he lost her.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She smiled and continued to pat his hand gently.

They came up on a town and Gio peeked out from under the blankets, "Do you want to sleep in a real bed tonight, pearl...?" He asked, "I can stay here..."

"No love, it's quite alright.. we don't have to stay in town.." she said.
