He smiled softly and hurried off, buying it right away and bringing it to Sereina.

She gasped. "Gio..! Love, how..?" She asked.

"I sold my old badge...my last tie to my people..." He said, smiling softly.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She frowned. "Gio.. love.. your badge..?"

He nodded, "My military badge...I didn't need it anymore.."

"Are you sure..?" She asked.

He nodded again, "The only thing I need is you~"

She frowned a bit. "If you're sure.. thank you, my love.." she said.

"I will do anything for you, pearl~" He moaned softly.

"I don't want you to have to sacrifice your whole heritage for me.." she said.

"They would kill me on sight, Sereina~ I don't need that, nor do I want it~" He told her.

She smiled a bit. "Alright.."

"You and, if we ever have them, our children will be my heritage~" He said as he cupped her face gently.

Her face flushed. "I-I don't know how I'd manage that..~" she said.

"I'll love them, whether they are elves or Cestradae~" He said, "Because we made them~"

She smiled. "Thank you, love..~"

She smiled and kissed back, making a soft noise.

Pretty soon, it was time for the ceremony. Gio had gone to the river and made a wrap out of the flowers there to put along his fin, wanting to look nice for Sereina.

Sereina was dressed in her gown, a small circlet of wild flowers on her head, with matching flowers braided into her hair.

He blushed darkly at the sight of her and began to shake as she approached.

She looked over and smiled. "You look so handsome.."

"Th...Thank you...~ Y-You're...beyond stunning~"

"Really..?" She asked. "Thank you, Gio.." she said with a smile.

He nodded and took her hand gently as the priest began the rights.
