Shark Bait (PoisonousIvee/Mr.Aznable)

The man looked down to Gio. He looked tired, like he wished not to be bothered. But, he inclined his head. "Stand, Cestradae. What brings you before me?"

He stood and locked his sharp gaze with the king, "I require asylum for my mate and I. We have traveled from the human capitol for weeks, months even. If you require a fair trade, I would grant you my strength to your army or guard. I, the first born of General Kalpios, would give all that I am for some small semblance of peace."

The king made a face. "Presumptuous of you to think I would need your strength. What of your mate? What do they offer to my kingdom?" He asked.

"She is a healer. She has helped many in our travels, cured the sick and saved the dying. She would be invaluable to you and your people." He aswered.

He waved his hand. "It is done. Give your names to the healer in the lower quarters, and he will register them with me. She will be working for him. Welcome to my kingdom."

Once he left the main chamber, he slumped against the wall, covering his mouth. His expression was twisted with his depraved love sickness, eyes clouded with pure euphoria. His breath came out in puffs as his body shook, "I-I did it, Sereina...~ I did it...~ we're safe now...~"

He had to find this grand healer first. He pushed himself off the wall and went down to find this grand healer to register his wife - wife~ - as a new apothecary.

It tormented him all the way back to the apothecary. Once he was there, it was more than a challenge for him to write their names down, husband and wife.

His hand was shaking, the words almost illegible.
"Lord, you'll have to write more steady than that." The healer said. Gio nodded shakily and tried again. Once he managed to get them readable, he gave the paper to the healer and left. Sereina would be contacted soon, he had said, and Gio couldn't wait to tell her.

He was almost dizzy as he made his way back to the inn. Wife. Wife. Wife. Did elves have wedding customs? He didn't know. He would ask. He wanted it to be perfect for her.

He had been gone so long, she must have been more tired than he thought. He removed his cloak and moved back to lay with her, holding her again.
