She nodded and nibbled on her carrot some more. The ting actually hadn't left her mouth since she began. It tasted well enough. She'd never had it before. Kiri tried to smile past her nibbles, though it kind of looked funny.

Masako just chuckled at Kiri as she smiled though her carrot. She grabbed her plate and walked to the table to eat. As she ate she began to think about Kiri and what the future held for her.

She took her time finishing the carrot and spent the rest of her time watching Masako eat. She laid her head on the table, looking at her sideways with fondness on her face. A tiny content smile on her face, and a speck of carrot on the corner of her lip.

Masako smiled back at Kiri as she ate. She loved to see her smile and hoped to keep her that way no matter what. "Are you thirsty?" she asked as she sat up and got a drink herself, making sure to look back and she her answer.
