Does crime pay?[Ghostxtiger and Divide[By]Zero]

She got put up on the table easily, her body wasn't exactly heavy. Kiri was still unsettled because Masako was going to do what the doctor was going to do. When she had to open her mouth, she did, though it was sort of half-open as opposed to the full "ahhh" kind of open. She gripped nervously onto Masako's jacket, scared and nervous.

It was over in a few seconds. Masako just simply swabbed the inside of Kiri's cheek the placed the swab in a small plastic tube "ok, all set" she said as she gave the tube to Izumi. "See you later Izumi" Masako helped Kiri down and led her out, wanting to get her out of there as quickly as possible. "See you. I'll rush this to the lab" Izumi said then continued her work.

Kiri followed Masako, looking like a sad puppy or something. Being her, she kind of always looked like a sad puppy. But they were out of the doctor's office, so she was a little more able to move on her own, even if she was still clutching onto Masako's arm.

"Don't worry Kiri" Masako said as she lightly patted her head. "No one will hurt you as long as I'm around" she smiled at the girl then led her back to the elevator "How about we go out and get something to eat" she said, feeling hungry herself and deciding to push her work aside for today and do whatever it took to make this girl happy.

Kiri bit her lip as she was told everything was okay. She'd be safe. That was always what they said. Who? She didn't know. She just knew that she'd heard it a lot, before not so good things happened. Her body trembled slightly and she clutched tighter onto Masako's arm. The girl wanted to believe her so bad, but there was growing doubt suddenly.

Masako led Kiri back to the car. She felt guilty for taking Kiri to see Izumi. Something must have happened to her to make her be afraid of people with white coats. One of her body guards was waiting for her outside. He smiled at them as he opened the car door for her. "The usual place" She said to the driver after getting in.

Kiri got in the car slowly and wound up curling up into a ball again, wishing she had her blanket or something to cover her. Something to cover her body, to hide her from everything. Something that wouldn't try to betray her. Trustworthy and warm. She whimpered silently.

Masako started feeling worse. If only she would have known she would have never put Kiri though that. "Driver, nevermind. Just take us home" she said the tried to think of something to make Kiri feel comfortable again. The guard saw that Kiri was looking like she wanted something around her. He took off his jacket and put it around her shoulders. He was a large man so his jacket made a good substitute blanket for the small girl.

When the jacket got put around her, she couldn't help but curl up into it. Now she was ruining Masako's day. maybe it was better she was out of the streets. Maybe it'd be better if still, nobody cared, or even knew, she existed. Kiri would have whimpered and told Masako to just drop her off and be done with her, but... Mute.

Masako pulled Kiri closer to her as she tried to think of something to make Kiri happy. She led Kiri back up to the apartment. She greeted the maid who was finishing up cleaning. "I finished the laundry miss" she said as she packed up her cleaning supplies. Masko nodded then went to the bed room and came back out with Kiri's blanket which was cleaned and patched of any hols or tears. She went over to Kiri and handed her the blanket.

Kiri has the blanket given to her, which she immediately wrapped herself in and sunk into. It was like she melted into the thing. She would have looked like she disappeared if it weren't for the black hair still peeking out from the top of the blanket. The body inside began to snuggle in and get really comfortable. She'd have had a sigh of relief, but it just sounded like an exhale.

Masako smiled as she patted Kiri's head then gave her a light peck on the top that was peaking out of the blanket. She was happy to make the girl comfortable again. "Are you hungry? Would you like a little something to eat?" she asked as she walked over to the adjoining kitchen to fix herself something to eat.

Kiri only nodded, which probably looked like an indistinctly shambling blanket. She hadn't eaten all day so it was rightful for her to want even some food. As shriveled as her stomach was, there was space inside to fit something. Right now she felt so warm, and not just from the blanket. When Masako came back out, she'd be greeted by the blanket just being below Kiri's eyes so she could see the woman, and a single foot peeking out from under the blanket.

Masako came back out with an apple in her mouth and a single banana in her hand. She handed it to Kiri who eyes poked out of the blanket. She simply smiled warmly as she extended the fruit out to the girl. She figured she would have something healthy rather than the junk that people stuff their faces with. "Come on. let's sit down on the couch" she said as she led Kiri to the sofa.

Kiri took the banana and it sunk into the abyss. And she agreed to move to the couch while she fiddled with the banana under the blanket. When they got there, she sat down and bit into the bottom end of the banana, peel and all. As she tried to pull the bite away from the rest of the banana, the peel ripped down the side of the banana, exposing the actual edible part. She'd gotten a gush of the actual fruit in her mouth. Yes, she was entirely that inexperienced.

Masako took a bite of her apple as she flipped on the tv. She looked over at the motions under the blanket. She decided to investigate. She slightly pulled the blanket down to see Kiri fumbling with the fruit" She just chuckled "Here" she said as she took the banana "Like this" she took the top of the fruit and unpeeled to show the edible part then handed it back to the girl. "You just eat this part ok"

Kiri nodded. Admittedly, she was an idiot. She didn't know how to read, and she'd never encountered something so simple as a banana before. She took a small bite of the banana, slowly starting to realize she had no clue how the picture and noise box worked, nor of the food. She felt completely out of place.

Seeing how the girl had trouble with the fruit and the confused look she gave the tv. Masako knew she needed to show the girl a few things or maybe a lot of things. "Kiri, if there's anything you don't know or want to learn. Let me know" she said as she put her arm over her shoulder. She had no idea what the girl did or did not know but it seemed she needed to learn a lot and she was willing to teacher anything she could.

Kiri frowned at the suggestion, being told in a nice offer that she was stupid. She knew that was not a good thing. And even if Masako didn't mean it like that, she still was very sad that she was so lacking. Kiri leaned into the woman and buried her face into Masako's side. She wrapped her arms around the woman's waist and squeezed with all her might, which felt to her like a tight hug. She was weak too.

Masako didn't realize she basically called Kiri stupid until the girl hugged her weakly "Oh, sweetie I didn't mean it like that?" she said as she gently hugged the frail girl. "I just wanted to help you and make you feel more comfortable here" she said, feeling bad for making Kiri upset as she lightly caressed her back.

Kiri kept herself in the hug, lightening her grip. Not because it was uncomfortable for Masako. Far from it with her frail grip. But because it put a strain on her to use all her strength in a hug. So she simply leaned against Masako and nodded slowly. Her fingers gently kneaded the woman's body, rubbing into her her like she would with a blanket.

Masako just kept her hold on the girl. "You don't have to feel uncomfortable here. If you don't know anything just let me know. I won't think you're stupid at all. I want to teach you anything everything so you don't have to feel this way anymore" she said as she continued her caress on the girls back. She let out a sigh as she felt the girl's fingers gently kneading her.

She nodded in understanding and nuzzled up into the woman, getting really comfortable. Masako was warm too. Like her blanket. She did smell a bit better though. Her blanket smelled pretty bland. But Masako smelled like... Something. She couldn't put her finger on the proper word. But she liked it. Her head laid on the woman's lap, nuzzling into her thigh a little.

Masako just smiled at the girl as she saw her get more comfortable. She just caressed her head, lightly playing with her hair as she turned back to the tv. A few minutes passed before her cell phone rang "Hello....yeah...well, get someone else to take care of it. I'm busy" she said then hung up and went back to caressing Kiri's head.

Kiri looked up at the talking box. She'd figured out that it let her talk to somebody either inside the box, or someone else with a box. The second option seemed a bit smarter to assume. Her face wore a look of worry over what was said. Something about it said that Masako should have done what the other said. Kiri bit her lip gently, hoping she wasn't causing anything bad.
