Does crime pay?[Ghostxtiger and Divide[By]Zero]

Masako looked down and saw the worry in Kiri's face "Don't worry hun. There's nothing wrong" she said as she caressed the girl's head. "I just want to stay here with you" she didn't want to leave the girl alone in an unfamiliar place when she doesn't seem to know anything.

Kiri reached up and gently stroked Masako's cheek. It was soft and warm. She nodded, however inconfident she was in herself. The girl went and snuggled back into the woman's lap, practically a little puppy devoted to it's owner. She still had doubts, but she couldn't bring herself to part from Masako anymore.

Masako just smiled at Kiri then went back to stroking her head. She knew she would be able to stay by her side. Being one of the higher ups in the group she could easily get the lower ranks to do her grunt work. She only have to worry about the big jobs. "Do you want to do anything sweetie?" she asked as she played with the girl's hair.

Kiri closed her eyes as she felt the hand in her hair. She snuggled into the lap, and silently sighed softly. It felt so nice. When she was asked, she only shook her head ever so gently, getting a small, happy smile as she felt her hair played with. It felt so nice. And her body started to warm up a little as she got more and more snuggly.

"Alright" Masako said as she smiled down at Kiri. She loved it when she smiled and hoped to keep her that way. She turned her attention back to the tv as she caressed the girl's head.

Kiri smiled a little more as they sat there, and she felt the hand run through her hair so gently and lovingly. Her hand began to unconsciously rub against Masako's leg, kneading her flesh like a kitten in her lap. If she had the ability to make noise, she'd even be sort of purring.

Masako just giggled as she looked down and watched the girl somewhat knead on her lap. She thought how cute it was as she continued to play with her hair. An hour or so passed before her cell phone rang again. "Hello...oh Izumi. What's up?" she said.

"Yeah Masako. I have the DNA results for your girl." Izumi said as she typed in her keyboard.

Kiri looked up and heard her name on the phone. She suddenly got more tense, not quite whimpering. But she was very nervous and tense. Some sort of test. What would it yield? What would become of her?

"Oh, what did you find" Masako said as she leaned forward, hoping she got something.

"Well...it's the strangest thing" Izumi said as she took a sheet of paper and looked over Kiri's results. "She not in any system. She doesn't have any background or birth records either, but that's not why I called you" she said

"Really? Then what?" Masako said, getting really curious.

"You see...the girl's DNA...it's the strangest I've ever seen" Izumi said "Almost like....it's not human."

Kiri understood the voice. And she wanted so bad to whimper and show her concern. Not human? What did it mean? She clutched hard onto Masako's shirt, looking up at her with a lot of concern.

Masako looked down and caressed Kiri's cheek Not human? That's crazy. As Izumi typed on the keyboard the computer suddenly went haywire. "What the.." she said as she tried to get control

"What's going on Izumi" Masako said

"I don't know. Someone's hacking into the network" Izumi said then the computer crashed "Dammit. I got to go Masako. Call e later and we can talk more" she said the hung up

Masako nodded then hung up and looked back down at Kiri. She couldn't believe Izumi's findings. She looked human to her. She lifted the girl onto her lap and hugged her close "Don't be scared. I'll find out what going on"

Kiri found herself in a tight hug as she was discussed. She nodded and wrapped her arms around the woman tightly. Masako was precious to her now. She didn't want to lose her, or be given away. Kiri needed Masako now. Going back on the streets would make her even worse than before.

Masako just continued to hug Kiri. "I won't let anyone take you away from me. I promise" she said softly as she rubbed the girl's back. She dreaded the thought of something happening to her. She didn't know who or what this girl was but she didn't care. She wanted to stay by this girl's side.

Kiri snuggled into the girl. It made her feel so warm. Kiri nodded gently and hugged the woman back harder, finding her lips pressed against her neck. She gave the spot a little kiss, without knowing exactly what it was that she'd done. It just seemed like the right thing.

Masako was little surprised when Kiri kissed her neck but smiled any way as she let out a sigh. Her lips felt really good pressed against her skin. She pulled the girl away slightly to return the kiss in Kiri's cheek.

Kiri found her cheeks a bright red as she was kissed on the cheek. Slowly, she let her arms slip from the hug and just leaned against Masako, draped around her body like she was trying to be the woman's blanket now. Even with the scare, it felt too good to be on the couch with the woman. Something about it was just too nice.

Masako just smiled at Kiri then hugged her back as if she doesn't want to let her go. She hasn't been this happy in a long time. Her job doesn't exactly have people waiting in line to be with her which causes her to get rather lonely at times. She just continued to hold the girl then pulled away "I'm just going to cook up some dinner ok" she said then kissed her cheek again before placing her on the couch and sitting up.

Kiri nodded as she was placed on the couch. Blushing, she followed the woman into the kitchen, wanting to watch, thinking that cooking could be a very entertaining thing. It did involve food after all.

Masako started taking out the ingredients to make the dinner. She was very talented when it came to cooking. She decided on chicken alfredo with linguine noodles. She filled a pot full of water then placed it on the stove before she prepared the chicken. She then got the noodles and place them in the pot of the now boiling water. She got out a bowl and started on a salad.

Kiri sat on a chair and just watched, her head tilted to the side. She was very curious about it all, but she didn't want to get in the way. It wasn't as entertaining as she first thought, but at least she was still with Masako.

Masako smiled at Kiri as she prepared the salad then grabbed a carrot form the crisper and washed it off before giving it to her. "Here, you can eat the whole thing except for the end piece" she said, remembering how much trouble she had with the banana.

She nodded, looking at the carrot curiously before she nibbled on the tip. Her head bobbed on it slowly as she kept nibbling away, finding it a lot harder than the banana to eat in larger chunks. It was better to make it last though. She actually probably be filled up if she ate it all.

Kiri nodded when asked about the carrot filling her up. It would. She knew that her stomach was so small, and she rarely ate. A little went a long way with her, though her appetite was slowly coming. Kiri just hoped she didn't wind up eating too much.

Masako smiled at Kiri then went back to the dinner. "I'll just make you up some and put it in the fridge for later" she said then out a small amount in some tupperware and placed it in the fridge for her. "You can have it when ever you get hungry again"
