SAMOK (EveningSky & G23)

Samantha dabbed a napkin at her lips, taking another sip of Ezra's drink, clearing her mouth of any food that remained. Samantha noted the change in Ezra's behaviour, a tense vibe in his usually relaxed nature.

"Is everything al-"

"Samantha!"

"Hey Anna" Samantha smiled at her cousin, raising from her seat to hug the girl. "What are you doing here?" Samantha had not been too fond of the girl, but she maintained a friendly attitude for family sake.

"I'm here with mom and dad" She pointed to the table on other end where Henry Beckett sat, staring intently at Ezra.

Samantha waved with a slight smile, noting the disgusted looks Anna gave Ezra, no doubt of her father's influence. She knew they hated him, and secretly hated her. Despite it all public appearance mattered, and the Beckett's pretended to be a United front for all to see. When in reality her uncle Henry was as racist as a the Klu Klux Klan were violent.

"What are you doing here?" Anna asked, glancing down at their table.

Samantha tried hard to roll her eyes in obvious annoyance, instead, like her wonderful mother, she smiled sweetly. "I'm having a bite with my boyfriend....you know Ezra from school don't you? Star linebacker"

Anna nodded curtly "Yeah....I'll see you around"

"Enjoy the rest of your meal, and tell your parents Ezra and I send our love"

Anna Beckett smiled slightly, waving at Samantha before heading back to her table. The blonde returned to her seat, taking a large swig of the drink sitting in front of Ezra. Her sheer annoyance now showing "I hate her..." And she had every reason too. After overhearing Anna talking about her in the girls bathroom at school, Samantha Beckett never looked at her cousin the same again. She told no one of what was said, and acted like she had not heard a word. Being popular and pretty had its pros and cons, and Samantha learned to thicken her shoulders and not care what anyone had to say. Yes she cried, felt insecure and binge ate feeling sorry for herself at times. Still, she was Samantha Beckett, and she continued walking down the halls of Wilmington High, dressed fabulously with her head held high.

Henry hated the sight before him, he'd heard about the couple but had never seen them with his own two eyes. Disgust, the only emotion he could feel. Just like her mother. The way she smiled at him, stealing his fries, acting like his whore. It gave Henry the motivation to finish what he started seventeen years ago. He would do the family name a good favour, by getting rid of its so-called princess.

Samantha sighed, biting her lip "I've lost my appetite....let's just take your food and leave...please" She grabbed her bag, heading right for the car.

Ezra waited until Samantha had left, though he did box up the food and grabbed his drink, then paused. Not at henry's table, he would not embarrass her in such a way, but at the register. Of course, he paid for himself and Samantha, who he was watching through the window, but he also paid for Henry and his group.

Once done he bid farewell to his friends, then went out to the car, sliding inside next to Samantha, and once buckled drove off without a word.

Only when they were out of sight did he take her hand and kiss it. He was pointed toward her house, but would let her decide where they would go. He did have an offer to make. "There is a party at our place tonight. The club brought a bunch of their ladies. I'm not going back on my word I promise you, but a lot of the people there are still like family to me. And they are a lot of fun. My mother wanted me to offer, and the girls would be thrilled to see you. Just a thought. Good music, more food if you get hungry, and you can check up on me."

He grinned playfully, kissing her hand again. He was keeping strictly to his word. No club stuff. He might help out with a bike here or there, and he still worked out with his uncles and cousins, but he was out, and would stay out, as she had requested.

He kissed her hand once more. "or I can take you home. What do you want to do love?" He stopped at a redlight and looked at her. Once more his eyes exploded with light. This beauty was his and his alone. he would do anything she asked.

Samantha shrugged, glancing out the car window in silent thought. Accepting his invitation would mark her debut at a club event, even though she was not one of the ladies. "I'm not sure I'd fit in" Samantha muttered with a sad smile. "I mean, sure your family likes me, but in that environment." The blonde sighed "I'd be a sore thumb, the thumb that stopped you from patching into the club. Not to mention all those girls there...." Samantha knew sooner or later she would have to mingle with the rest of the natives on the Willowfoot compound, not to mention the SAMOK brothers and their wives. She was Ezra's fiancee after all, accepting everyone was part of the job. A job the blonde would need to come to terms with sooner or later.

"Okay..." Samantha leaned over kissing his cheek "I'll do it, for you mother and sisters" She grinned. "Just don't expect me to talk to anyone" As bitchy as she may have sounded Samantha Beckett had been serious. There was nothing Ezra could do to make his beautiful girlfriend mingle with anyone she did not want too. It was no quarrel against the natives, yet all against the club.

"We'll have to stop by my house, so I can tell my mother, you know she'll throw a fit if I disappear without a word again" Samantha glanced around the vehicle, spotting Ezra's phone. "Never mind..." She carefully dialed her home number, patiently waiting for someone to answer.

"Hello...Chase?" Samantha frowned

"Hi Sammy"

"Put mom on"

"Okey" Chase ran screaming 'mom' through the Beckett corridors.

"Samantha?"

Hi mom"

"Why aren't you home yet?"

Samantha glanced at Ezra, smiling. "I went to get something to eat...with Ezra"

"Oh, alright then" Marcia knew her daughter did notsimply calling to say hello "What do you want Sam?"

"Ouch..." Samantha laughed "Ezra's invited me to a....a sort of party at his home" Marcia slowly closed her eyes, not liking the sound of it one bit. "Mrs Willowfoot told him too" She finished quickly.

"Well....I assume if Fauna agreed it should not be a problem. Just don't say too late alright, I don't care if you've got no school tomorrow, be home before one o'clock in the morning"

"Yes mum" Samantha grinned "Love you"

"I love you too dear" Marcia hung up, taking deep breath, her hands shaking slightly. A sudden darkness washing over the green eyed beauty, as though she sensed something over the horizon.

"SHE SAID YES!" Came a loud and excited voice "Our first night in public together..." Samantha could.not hold back her smile even if she wanted too.

Ezra was so excited her could not help and grabbed Samantha and drew her into a deep kiss. "Good. And just try to have fun tonight." He kissed her again, then headed for home.

They pulled in to find his cousins making an attempt at playing some music on some instruments, several people scattered about at picnic tables talking and drinking, some fighting going on in Ezra's ring, and a lot of laughing and people talking around bikes, but otherwise it was just like any other party.

No guns were visible, and no one was using any drugs. Well some were smoking weed but only they knew that.

Fauna almost tackled Samantha once Ezra had helped her out of the car. "you came!!" She hugged the girl and kissed her cheek, then moved aside as Janice, Laila, and Ruthie tackled her legs as one. "SAMMY!!"

Ezra had his ear grabbed by an older but still very attractive woman with a large scar over her chest. He turned and grinned. "Hey Aunt Gemma." She laughed and hugged him. He then moved to greet the others from SAMCRO and other clubs. They were not happy that he had turned down the patch, but seeing how happy his was and how his eyes would find Samantha every few seconds, they could not deny that he was in love.

Fauna and Thomas meanwhile had escorted Samantha to a larger table where Red and Ilysa were sitting and digging into a large bowl of fried chicken. Thomas helped her sit, then his bride, then turned to Nicole in her feeding seat. She was nearly a year old now and her bright blue eyes, much like Ezra,s glowed as she studied the newcomer intently. She did allow her father to feed her, his touch gentle despite his own impressive phsyique.

For once Ezra was not the largest man present. Several were taller, and some were so massively muscled they made him look small. He enjoyed being just one of the guys, and as they had known him all his life they didn't give him the same temeritous reactions even his teammates and friends did. They joked with him, even grabbed him and forced him to pull free. They were surprised at his strength, which impressed even the largest of them, and of course lead to impromptu wrestling matches.

The girls had deserted Samantha to speak to the others, who they knew as their beloved uncles, and zipped amongst the men and women visitors with absolute security. With good reason. Everyone present would destroy anyone who som much as bruised them.

Fauna and Ilysa chatted with Samantha about her dancing and how school was going, clearly interested and happy she was happy. Fauna hid what she knew, Thomas had told her about April minutes after he had learned, and she made it clear to Samantha that she was and would be a welcome addition to the family.

She did want Samantha to know one thing. "Make sure Ezra takes a shower before you let him do anything proper. Last month he got all sweaty then tried to put on one of those suits for a meeting with his coaches."

Ilysa laughed. "You're the one that said he didn't have time to shower."

Fauna huffed grumbling, because she couldn't argue the point. Red kept eating and sipping his tea. Thomas wisely stayed quiet as well, feeding Nicole who was still watching Samantha, but giggling at her daddy's tickles.

Ezra flopped onto the bench beside his fiancee and grinned. "Hey gorgeous."

Ilysa smiled. "Why thank you Ezra."

He grinned and winked at her, then kissed Samantha's cheek. He then sniffed and his eyes widened. "Granny you didn't."

"I certainly did."

He snagged the bowl of chicken and sighed happily, then snagged two large strips and put them onto a plate drawing toward himself and Samantha. "Babe you have to tried Granny's fried chicken. True gift from the gods."

Red grunted. "Only thing better are here pies."

She smiled as Ezra began to eat the chicken, savoring every bite, but leaving a strip alone for Samantha if she wanted it.

Thomas nodded toward the strip. "Do be careful with that thought Samantha. Mom's chicken is like chips. you can't have just one." Ezra proved this as he got some more, this time going for some drumsticks. As always he ate neatly and quietly. He was leaning against Samantha a bit, and she could feel his rapid heartbeat. He was so excited and happy around his family and her he could almost burst.

He looked at the tea pitcher now, which was on the far side of Red. "So...Pops. guna share that tea?"

"Nope." Thomas carefully stifled a laugh as Ezra slid down the bench, bunching against his grandfather. Ilysa and Fauna snickered as Ezra began to cajole his grandfather.

Red growled and tried to sidle away but Ezra, quicker than a flash, snagged the pitcher and slid back down the bench and poured himself a glass before Red could react.

"You little twerp!" Red moved to get his tea and grabbed his grandson in a headlock. he looked over the young man's shoulder at Samantha. "You have anything you want to get him back for?"

Ezra looked at his fiancee innocently. "Have i misbehaved?"

Red snarled and began to try to tickle Ezra, but Ezra did not react. "I keep telling you I'm not ticklish anymore Pops. And my ears are off limits. That's for mom, Granny, and apparently Gemma."

Fauna smiled that gorgeous smile that her son had inherited. "Well Samantha can use them too if you upset her."

Ezra gaged for a moment when Red began to try to noogie him, then held up his hands defensively. "I would never. Oooh closer to the shoulder Pops."

Red growled and released him with a glare. "I liked you better when you were afraid of me." He looked serious but Ezra just laughed. "I am Pops. But your tea is worth all sorts of trouble."

He sipped his glass and sighed happily. "Excellent...strawberries?"

Red nodded. "And some raspberry and a touch of lemon."

Ezra nodded as he sipped again. "Great stuff Pops." He poured a glass for Samantha, but did not pester her to drink it. He would let her do as she liked.

Fauna was beaming at his care not to pester or jostle Samantha, allowing her to adjust to the environment. She wished the girls were so patient.

Ilysa asked about dancing, though in an odd way. "I hear you practice and train nearly as much as Ezra."

Ezra laughed. "Likely more. seems like whole days sometimes."

"So she's good?"

Ezra's eyes roamed Samantha's face. "She's amazing."

Ilysa smiled at this. "Samantha may I ask you something?" She waited for the answer, also not wanting to overwhelm the girl.

~

Jax and the other younger members rolled in and shut off their bikes, mingling with the others, but Jax's eyes blazed as he watched Ezra fawn over the uppity bitch who had forced him to deny the club. He made sure no one saw his rage however, and went to watch the fights.

Warmth was the only word that could be used to describe the atmosphere at the Willowfoot's. The love and kindness that radiated from Ezra's family wanted Samantha's heart. Her mind allowing the wall she raised to crumble. Her initial reaction had been stupid, there was no reason to closed off from such people. Of course there were members of the original charter present, and their 'old ladies' and girlfriend, but Samantha's people were the Willowfoot's.

As soon as the blonde stepped from the car, she had been tackled into a tight embrace by none other than Fauna Willowfoot, the leading matriarch of the Willowfoot family, like Marcia Beckett, the glue that kept it all together.
"SAMMY!" Little arms, wrapped themselves tightly around her legs, Samantha almost losing her balance.

"Slow down..." The young girl grinned, stooping to hug each and everyone if Ezra's sisters.

"Ruthie you've gotten tall!" Samantha commented, stunned at the growth and beauty of the girls since she last saw them.It seemed like only yesterday they were sitting all huddled together in the school library, engrossed in the their books.

"Chase and Brandon have been asking me non stop about you girls, they miss the playing with you in the park" An idea sprung into Samantha's head and she glanced up at Ezra

"Maybe we can arrange something soon right?" The girls seemed utterly elated at the thought of getting a surprise soon, they all but bolted around, telling all their friends that Samantha Beckett was 'arranging' something fun for them.

"Never had sisters..." Her smile grew fond "I'd spoil them rotten if someone doesn't stop me" Chase and Brandon had been spoiled by Samantha's hands already, she could only imagine the damage she would do if she ever got her hands on those little girls for too long.

The dynamic relationship between Ezra's family members left Samantha with a constant smile. In Thomas Willowfoot she saw Ezra in the years to come. A big strapid man softened his entire demeanor for the ones he loved.

Samantha's careful attitude suddenly disappeared when Ezra appeared at her side, kissing her cheek fondly. Her eyes expressed longingness and the blonde gently circled his thigh with her finger. Staring intently at him as he ate, wanting the chicken for herself despite having a larger meal than usual mere minutes ago. Samantha Beckett swallowed and held herself back from devouring the chicken strip and the rest of the fried chicken in the bowl. Instead she reached for the tea, trying to sate the unending hunger within.

"You're right...." Samantha took another sip of tea "This is amazing" She looked at Red Willowfoot "Family secret?"

Ilysa Willowfoot herself had been a character of sorts, not the typical grandmother, then again Red had not been the an ordinary grandfather either. When the woman looked at Samanth, asking permission before she inquired about whatever it is she had been curious of.
The blonde politely smiled, giving Ilysa a nod "Of course...anything" Samantha secretly hoped she would not regret the statement.

By this the young girl had given into the urges, the chicken that once laid in the plate had now been in the belly, along with life that had been currently blossoming. Without hesitation Samantha reached for another piece, unlike Ezra, not minding her manners as she chowed down. Savoring every bite.

"I'm so hungry these days it's insane"Samantha smiled at the elders "But I need to slow down or I'll get too fat ballet and Ezra." She chuckled, glancing at her boyfriend.

Ilysa began to ask the girls taking ballet.

Since Nicole's birth Fauna had been more focused on her infant and getting back into shape. She had been driven about it actually, and often worked out with her son.

She had shrunk from her pre-Nicole size, but she was very fit, and now was back in charge of a number of things, including her house, children and the farm for which she was the chief financial officer.

Thus it was that Ilysa had been commandeered to see to the three elder girls needs.

The girls still adored Ezra, coming to sit on his lap several times during the conversation, but they were growing, and the two eldest had both decided they needed privacy from the men in their lives, especially Ezra. So while Ezra, Daddy, and Grandpa Red got all sorts of hugs and kisses, it was Ilysa and Fauna who heard about problems and worries.

Ruthie was still too young for all of that yet, but she followed her elder sister's like a puppy still, for now. So what they did she did.

Red grunted his answer about the tea, but also nodded, his eyes on his grandson as he drew the pitcher back to refill his glass. As he did so his bride went on, wondering if the girls would enjoy ballet, though for the moment they loved the idea, but that was mostly due to Samantha's presence rather than any organic interest in the art.

Ezra just ate and helped his father entertain Nicole. When the baby finished eating Ezra snagged her from her chair and sat her on the table before him, and holding her hips, her knees against his chest, he let her play with his face and hair, reacting to her touches and making her squeal in delight. She also clearly adored her brother. And found his hair delicious as she kept shoving it into her mouth.

Ezra just laughed and pulled it free gently, distracting her with some facial movement, making her giggle in delight.

Fauna watched proudly. She was worried about the young couple across from her, but not as intensely as Marcia. She had no doubt their youth and passion would lead them into trouble. But she also knew something else. Ezra would do anything to protect Samantha, and would rather die than hurt her.

"I'd happy to give them some lesson, it may be a great extra curricular activity for them. That's how it all started with me, just as something my mom made me do as a child." She shrugged her shoulders, sipping the tea in front of her.

"And it became what is it today. Can't really pursue it beyond high school at the moment." Samantha's eyes travelled down, staring at her fingers, the thought of not being able to do what she really wanted in life a little depressing.

With a deep breath and conviction blonde smiled, her chocolate hues meeting those of Fauna and Ilysa

"I can work with the girls at my home, I've got a dance room that I've outgrown."

Sean Beckett designed the dance studio for Samantha when she was eight, now at the age it's seventeen she could not use the bars due to height and advancement in her dancing. Until the room was redesigned to suit her needs again, she thought it perfect for Ezra's sisters.

"Chase and - Brandon use it as a playroom now so I might as well put it to good use, if that's alright with you all...." The relationship between the families had not been good in the past, hatred ran deep with their ancestors. Now that things were a little, civilized as Sean Beckett called it. It made Samantha assume that the Willowfoots would be alright with their little girls on Beckett land. Especially now that she and Ezra were dating, and secretly engaged.

"I need to use the bathroom" Samantha glanced at Ezra who'd been playing with his youngest sister, Nicole. The blonde adored the baby from a distance, not wanting to lay a finger on her due to her own fears of what had been going on inside her body, and due to the scrutiny of the Willowfoot clan.

Ezra started to rise when Nicole began to squall. Ezra sniffed and scooped her up. "Someone needs a change."

He took Samantha's hand and drew her to her feet, then passed the baby to her and lead her inside after collecting several dishes from the table. Nicole instantly stopped crying the moment Samantha held her.

Once inside, Ezra dropped off the dishes, then lead Samantha to the large guest bathroom. He had caught his mother's eye not to try anything, so he also stole the baby, kissed his fiancee, then went into the changing room. Nicole tried to squall some more, but he soothed her easily. He emerged in a few moments rocking the now happily gurgling girl, whose eyes were beginning to close.

He stood in the hall, waiting for Samantha, softly humming a cradle song.

Samantha Beckett held Nicole without complaint, the baby feeling oddly comfortable in her arms. She cradled the little one carefully til Ezra graciously took Nicole for a diaper change, and Samantha made her way to the bedroom. When Samantha returned and saw Nicole all but falling asleep in Ezra's arms she smiled widely.

"You'd be a great dad" Her eyes twinkled with admiration.

"Is there a bedroom nearby?" She whispered, biting her lower lip. "You can take Nicole and we can...have some fun"

He started to answer when the girls came in. "Sammy you have to come see!!"

They dragged her outside and he sighed. Nicole cooed up at him and he laughed then followed outside as the fireworks began.

With the great amount of land they had the Willowfoots did not need a permit for fireworks. And the fact that more than two dozen of the family were certified in explosives and fireworks to the mastery level meant no one could get upset.

And of course the displays were always beautiful. Just as Sam was dragged outside, the first rocket went out and exploded into the twilight sky. "WELCOME SOA!!!" Everyone cheered.

Ezra handed the baby off to their mother, then moved behind Samantha, wrapping his arms about her and kissing the top of her head. He let his erection press into her as he nuzzled her. "i'd love to go have some fun babe. But we aren't exactly isolated here." He squeezed her gently. "love you."

Samantha glanced behind at Ezra as his sisters dragged her put, a smile lighting up his face. "Whoa!" Samantha jumped when the first rocket burst through the sky. " This is amazing" she couldn't take her eyes off the colors and patterns that painted the dark night sky.

Samantha watched as everyone enjoyed the scene before them just as much as she did. The cheering for the Sons, and the big smiles on all their faces took her breath away. To an outsider like herself the club was a dangerous thing, to the people that she was currently surrounded by....it was their family....and maybe someday hers.

When Ezra grabbed Samantha by the waist her smile grew "it's fine...." She felt his want for her and blushed a little, glancing around at the crowd, hoping no one had been paying attention to the intimate exchange.

"How have you been making out for the past two weeks?" It had been that long since they'd been wrapped in each others bodies.

"Juding by how often you get hard..." She whispered "I can't imagine it was easy" she teased, rubbing herself gently on him.

He pressed back against her. "I dream of you every night babe."

He kissed her neck softly, pressing a bit more firmly. "But as much as I miss your body, still so perfect, i miss being close more. I caught myself standing by your locker the other day just inhaling your fragrance. I couldn't help myself."

He nibbled softly. "Got me acting all starry eyed....you know I do know a place we could go to no one else uses...." He nibbled her ear softly.

Samantha Beckett wanted to laugh till she doubled over. That was how ridiculous she thought Ezra's confession. Trust be told the blonde's heart warmed at the image, but she would dare not admit it. "You are beyond saving Ezra Willowfoot" Came her voice, soft as a whisper. "The witch has you in her web" Samantha turned quickly, hiding Ezra with her dress, her hands wrapping around his neck, her eyes twinkling under the firework filled sky.

"If we leave here now...It may look suspicious..."Samantha brushed her lips against his ever so lightly. "Someone may miss you and come looking." She smiled with a naughty expression overtaking her innocent features "It would be mighty embarrassing for them to find me on my back....legs around you" Her body pressed into his.

Samantha's curfew was set, and she could not be outside after midnight. An idea popped into her mind, dangerous, yet rewarding. "When you drop me home, you can stay" Her gaze turned serious, no more games were evident in her brown eyes.

He smiled. "That could be fun."

He kissed her deeply. He broke the kiss when he caught one of her hairs, and laughing was drawing it away when someone yelled. "FUCKING RICH BITCH!!!"

Samantha was swept behind Ezra in a moment. And Ezra took a thrown bottle to the jaw and chest.

Ezra snarled and leapt forward, unconcerned that he was covered in glass, beer, and his own blood. He speared the running yeller in a perfect football tackle. Jax crashed to the ground Ezra atop the smaller man. Ezra lurched up into the mount. "What is wrong with you-" Opie booted Ezra in the same place the bottle had struck, and Ezra went sprawling into the dirt.

Ilysa grabbed Samantha and drew her aside while the children fled the area, and the other women and the leadership roared at Jax,Opie, and several other younger SOA member.

Ezra let the roll carry him and backrolled to his feet, glaring at the six of them. Seven as Jax slowly stood rubbing his middle. "You traitorous asshole. Ditching this for some gash?!"

"JACKSON!!" Gemma, Fauna, and several other roared. He ignored them.

Ezra's hair was wet and bunched together, now hanging in his face, red blood spreading over his shirt. His face was pointed down a bit, masking his eyes.

"Apologize Teller. Apologize and i'll call it square."

"Fuck you turncoat!! And Fu-" His hand was moving to point at Samantha but he never finished the sentence. Ezra had moved. With all his impressive speed, and leaped somewhere far back and took Jax a brutal blow to the face with an extended knee.

As they both fell, Ezra grabbed Opie's shoulders and actually flipped over the larger man, and landed amongst the others, clubbing one to the ground and knocking another off balance. He rolled to his feet again and hurled the off-balance one at Opie, who went down under his friend. Ezra then squared off with three others. He blocked, dodged, deflected, and avoided blows for a full ten seconds, then he lashed out. Three punches to one's middle dropped him.

A knee to the groin the second, and the third fell when Ezra did an actual flip kick to land facing Opie.

Opie roared and rushed the large Native. Ezra flicked aside at the last moment and delivered a cutting hook that threw Opie into the air and onto the ground.

Ezra moved immediately to Samantha, cupping her face and searching for wounds. She had beer in her hair but nothing else.

Ezra's right eye was red. his cheek already dark purple from the impact, and he had a long pair of cuts on his cheek and jaw, both of which were streaming blood.

Gemma and Clay were apologizing to Red and Thomas, while the other members dragged the attacked off, being rather rough with them, even with Jax.

Ilysa spoke softly. "Ezra you need to clean up."

He shook his head. "Samantha are you alright?"

"Ezra." He either winced or snarled, but caught himself. He looked into his grandmother's eyes, then lead Samantha inside to the kitchen. The kids were clearly scared, but rushed to check on him.

"Just a bad temper guys. I'm fine."

The girls turned to Samantha as Ezra sat her down by the island and carefully checked her face, top, and hair for glass, while Ilysa got the first aid kit. "Ar eyou hurt Sammy?"

Fauna came in, utterly furious, but calmly put a silently crying Nicole into her bounce chair, then got several wet rags. She first saw to Samantha, helping her clean her hair. "I can't believe those idiots would do something like that. They know better!"

Ezra meanwhile was sitting on the island while some of his aunts cleaned his hair and mopped up his blood, and Ilysa quickly and expertly cleaned out the wounds, including some glass shards, then sewed them up. His eyes never left Samantha, and the blues burned with anger.

Thomas and Red stormed in, just as furious. "Gemma and Clay have offered to leave Fauna. She asked to speak with you. Is he ok Mom?"

She nodded. "Been hurt worse playing football."

Red looked at Samantha. "How about you young lady? Are you alright?"

Samantha hadn't time to react to the attempted insult and bottle hurled at. Ezra had been in his moment, pushing Samantha behind him, shielding her from the assault. Taking a beer bottle to the face for her. The sound of the glass breaking on impact, made Samantha's eyes well. Not for fear of being hated that badly, but because of the damage it had done to Ezra.

In no time at all, Samantha's hands flew to her mouth in utter shock when Ezra leapt toward a blonde haired blue eyed boy wearing a cutte. She had not recognised the face, but she after his name had been screamed...She knew who he was. The name Teller had been muttered by her father a few times.

Samantha understood why she was hated, but she couldn't understand the violence toward Ezra. People who he called friends, ganging up on him, on his land, in front his family....and because of her. Nothing could've prepared her for the sight of Ezra's face when he stood up, taking brisk steps in her direction. The image sent Samantha speechless. She could not express thoughts in that moment. Instead she stared, like a buffoon. Hating how much concern he showed her, neglecting himself, as if unaware of the shards of glass that were stuck to his cheek, his shirt soaking in his blood.

Samantha found her voice again when Ezra dragged her into the kitchen, his sisters asking if she had been alright. The blonde girl nodded and smiled slightly, am trying to reassure the young girls and herself "I'm alright..." Her eyes travelled to Ezra, still unable to speak to him directly.

She watched as the women who loved and cared for him since birth nursed his wounds like professionals. Passing his injuries off as nothing worse than a football match. Samantha failed to see the comparison. Instead....the blonde ignored all questions of her well being, eyes now burning holes into Ezra Willowfoot's skull, stepping right up to the blue eyed beast of a boy.

"Don't you EVER do anything like that again....do you hear me?" No longer was she sweet Samantha Beckett. If Thomas Willowfoot was paying attention, he would see Marcia Beckett standing in the kitchen before Ezra, giving him a good scolding.

"Don't you dare stand in front of danger for me, so that you end up like this..." her hands indicated toward his face " If you want to play hero then fine....but turn your back at least..." Samantha raised her fists thumping his chest with every word "If you ever do that again I'll leave you Ezra" The young girl sucked in her tears and fled the room. Running through the door that they came from.

In a fit of rage and love she searched the Willowfoot compound for the Victim of her Beckett anger. When Samantha saw the boy, nursing a ice pack to his face, her fists clenched. "Who the hell do you think you are?" Samantha grabbed a nearby plastic chair, bashing it over Jackson Teller's head "Throwing a beer bottle at a girl...you should take.off that cutter you fucking coward"

Ezra had no time to answer.

He was out the door after Samantha before anyone could stop him.

Jax leapt to his feet, glaring into Samantha's eyes. And a fist cocked him in the jaw so hard he flopped into the dirt. Gemma stood over her son, eyes mad with rage.

Ezra gently touched Samantha. "Sam...."

Gemma hissed. "No. She's right. This little boy doesn't deserve to wear the Reaper."

Ezra winced. Jax heard this and turned onto his back. He pointed at Samantha. "She took him away!"

Gemma snarled. "He's in love you idiot! He chose his heart over his head. I love this club. So does Ezra. But would you have done any less for Tara!?" She hated that little bitch for breaking her son's heart, but she was useful.

Jax blinked, then slowly stood. Ezra moved between him and Samantha, intentionally putting his back to Jax his eyes on Samantha's.

Jax worked his jaw, then spoke. "Hey Z..."

Ezra spoke very softly. "Yes?"

"I'm sorry man...I... I...Miss...I miss my friend. I'm really sorry."

He walked toward the bikes, even peeling off the cutte and hanging it on his handlebars as he went into the chapel.

Clay moved up beside Ezra. "Truly sorry about all this Ezra...he's real torn up. Still hurting over his old man. And his brother. And Tara ran out on him. Hurt him bad. I wish you were hanging the Reaper but...well you got yourself a good woman. Keep hold of her."

Ezra nodded and smiled. "Thanks Clay."

Clay nodded back, then went toward the chapel with the others.

Ezra looked back to Samantha. "I'm sorry baby. i just didn't have time to turn. Would have hurt you. Can't have that."

Gemma smirked at this and studied his face. "Baby scratches. you got worse when you rolled Jax's dune buggy when the two of you were six."

Ezra nodded grinning. "Yeah. Then you did even worse because we messed up your garden."

She laughed and kissed his cheek, just beside the bruise. "I'm sorry baby." She looked at Samantha. "I apologize for my son. i know that isn't much, but he doesn't like losing people. He and your boyfriend have been friends since they were infants."

Ezra looked at Samantha. "So...still pissed at me?"

Samantha flash Gemma an appreciative smile "I know, that's why I hit him with the chair. Maybe it'll refresh his brain, make him remember that Ezra no less of a friend" Her words were frank, and her stance firm. There was no backing down, not because of who they were, Samantha was also a somebody, and she made Jackson Teller notice her tonight whether he liked it or not.

"I'm not pissed anymore" Samantha stared him apologetically. Wanting to kiss him silly, yet holding herself back due to the environment. Tonight shed some light on Ezra's situation, and Samantha Beckett understood that their relationship was not all roses and puppies. There was still those who objected because of her last name, her skin colour but most of all her influence on the once future president of SAMOK.

"I should go now, I know its barely nine o clock and all" Her eyes lit up, gently she held his hand, leading him back to the main house "I should apologise and say goodnight to your family" Samantha glanced up at Ezra "Do you miss it?" She waited patiently on his answer, knowing there was no explanation needed in what she had been referring too. If Ezra missed the club Samantha thought she ought to know. There was nothing worse than knowing she had been forcing him to live a life he was not happy with.

He nodded. "i do. But only really with my family. And I still get to hang with them. And you are more than worth it Sam."

He leaned in and carefully kissed her. "No reason to apologize. My mom is guna kill Jax for scaring the kids. And cussing in front of the girls. But you're all good."

A man rolled up to them, punched Ezra in the chest, a light one, then grinned at Samantha. "Nice swing girl. Good hit too. Hey we're all real sorry jax lost it there. You should stick around. The girls are guna...what is it again Ezra?"

Ezra blinked, then closed his eyes tight ina wince. "Dang. That's right. Sam ya gotta stay a bit longer. the girl's are going to sing. they'd really love it if you stayed. Please?" He'd take her home instantly if she asked, but the girls really would be very happy if she stayed.

"Sing?" Her ears perked up "Your sisters can sing?" The revelation made her smile, she had never had many chances to truly get to know the Willowfoot girls but Samantha was beginning to like them with every passing second. As the two continued to walk toward the main house Samantha voiced the idea that she'd thought of when they brother's arrived on the compound.

"You know i was thinking..." Her eyes travelled up at him "Do you think your parents will let me hold a pool party at my house for them? They can invite their friends, and maybe you can get your parents to talk to someone.on the rez...get some of the orphans to comedown as well...I think they'd enjoy a fun day." Samantha's eyes wrinkled the thought "I'll hire a clown, a magician, the bouncy houses.....the whole shabang!"

When they reached the house Samantha entered before Ezra, smiling at some of his cousins. The young blonde glanced behind her and raised a curious brow "show me your room" she mouthed. The thought of seeing her fiancee's bedroom quite exciting. Samantha thought it only fair, as Ezra had seen.her's many times, he even slept in her bed.

"My sisters can indeed sing."

He listened to her idea. "Sounds good. I'm sure my parents would like it. Just not the clown. The girls don't like clowns. they do love magicians though."

He leaned down and kissed her. "A very fine idea indeed my love." he kissed her again, then whistled. "Oi! Red is getting his ice cream!"

The cousins fled to go tackle their grandfather as he lead her up to the bedroom.

He had a very large bed, his own bathroom, a computer desk, a full stereo system with a large number of cds and even records and tapes, a large corner was matted with heavy bags and weight and their machines. One whole wall and a half was filled with books.

He had some posters as well. Of Muhammed Ali, three separate ones, one of himself with the Vegas belt with Ali, signed by Ali to a great fighter, and two of Samantha herself. One of her in her costume from New York, looking elegant, sultry, and beautiful beyond words.

The other was a candid of the visit to the lake cabin. She was looking out over the lake at sunset. It only showed her face, and in profile, but she looked extraordinary.

He gently shut his door nodding toward the picture. "Tiffany let me borrow her camera for that one..." He stayed by the door watching her. He did not have a balcony, but did have a large picture window behind his stereo. It looked directly toward her house, though the trees blocked the sight.

The set up of it all caught Samantha off guard. Her eyes sucked in everyday detail, not knowing when she would ever get the chance to stand in his world again.

"You're neater than me" It had been the first thing she noticed, along with two large posters of herself.

Slowly Samantha walked along the wooden floors of the bedroom, her fingers brushing along whatever she passed on her to the posters. The blonde stared at Ezra and Muhummad Ali with pride "You look so happy..." She looked over at him "Did you he try to talk you into going pro?"

Samantha moved over to the pictures of herself, the poster of her in the dance costume held her captive for a moment. Not her image, but the memories that came along with it, their first kiss, and first time making love. Samantha knew now that it had not been her first time simply having sex, it was her first time making love. "Why'd you keep this?" Her eyes met his, her gaze curious. "What did your parents think?"

"He actually told me not to. Said i was too good for a world without worthwhile competition."

He smirked his eyes bright. "Mom said you looked beautiful. And i kept it because it was important. For us. When our relationship truly became a relationship. And we stopped pretending we wanted less of one another."

He sat down on the bed. "My dad says that he understands why I fell in love with you. Also said you remind him of your mother."

He chuckled. "I prefer the other one. You were so happy. And it was even more important. To us."

Samantha chuckled upon hearing Thomas Willowfoot's comment of her. "Not exactly like my mother..." Samantha gave Ezra the sweetest smile, before she made her way over to his desk, scanning the papers, then moving to the stereo system. Checking out the exquisite collection of music Ezra possessed.

"Let's see what you were listening too..." Samantha pressed play, releasing the melody into the room. "Not bad" Her eyes met his teasingly.

Samantha turned off the stereo and returned to Ezra's side on the bed. Their legs barely touching one another. With a deep breath Samantha Beckett looked at her boyfriend

"What would you do if I was pregnant?" A smile spread across her face "Don't worry, it's just a what if..." She smiled again. reassuring him

"i'd be the happiest and proudest man alive." He kissed her smile and grinned.

"Any child will be blessed to have you as a mother. Now I'm not sure what the father would be..." he smiled wider his eyes bright. "i truly would be proud and happy babe. I can't think of anyone I would rather be the mother of my children....You will make a wonderful mother."

He reached up and ran his thumb over her brow, then back into her hair, brushing it behind her ear. "And the most beautiful one ever." Their legs were touching now. His hand rested on her neck, his chest turned toward her, his red right eye and stitches hidden behind his nose and the shadows.

"That response is so typical of you" Samantha took his face in hands gently, pressing her lips softly against his. "You need to grow a pair and tell me when you are sad, angry....or hurt" Samantha's finger circled Ezra's wound.

" you'd make a great father too, no matter who gives birth to your children" Her lips pressed against his, slowly passing her tongue along his bottom lip. Her hands gripping the bottom of his shirt as she tilted her head sideways, deepening their kiss.
