He held his hand out to Elook to pause their conversation for the moment than put on a business smile as he turned to look at Luna. "Welcome to the Cat's Meow. I'll have Kelly here help you find a table and she'll take your order as well"

He turned to Kelly with a more sincere smile, "I'm sorry but I'd like to catch up with my old friend", he reached out and gently held her hand, "You'll help me out by tending to the customer for me right?"

"I wouldn't be much of an employee if I didn't," she said with a smile. "Come with me, won't you, miss?" She smiled and stood from her stool, leaving her glass unattended. She led the woman to a fine table and put on a lovely smile. "My name is Kelly and I'll be taking care of you tonight. Is there anything I can get you to make you more comfortable?" she asked gesturing to the menu on the table. "We have a large array of food and drinks, or you may solicit the company of one of our attendants. Also, if you'd like an application, I'd be more than happy to go and fetch you the forms you need," she said.

Luna held out her hand as if she were offering something to Kelly and then a large pouch of gold appeared in her hand. "I don't want any food, but I'll give you this if you'll sit and have a drink with me for a half hour." She untied the bag and showed her its contents. "Its not fake, I assure you. I would just like someone to help me pass the time and answer a few of my questions..." She gave her a genuine smile and then pushed the gold to her, urging her to accept. "Come on, Ms. Kelly. I love having drinks with lovely girls such as yourself." She looked into her eyes, the smile still plastered on her face.

Kelly was a little surprised at the random appearance of a bag of gold, not to mention her somehow plastic smile. Still, a client was a client. "Of course, miss. What can I get you from the bar?" she asked, taking the bag from her friendly customer's hand. "We have a selection of wines and I can make a number of mixed drinks if you'd like one."

"Whichever wine you enjoy the most, dearest." She crossed her legs and then leaned back in her chair. "Hurry, love. There is so much I wish to talk about." Luna wasn't really all that interested in talking to her, she just needed some information. The others seemed to be too busy to answer her questions. It was rare that she was doing her own dirty work, but today she just felt obligated to give Sol a break. Even he got tired sometimes, and he deserved a rest for being such a faithful and loyal servant.

Kelly nodded and left to pour a second glass of wine for the guest. She took the glasses and set Luna's before her, taking a seat across from her. "And what can I help you with tonight?" she asked, taking a sip from her glass.

((There are a number of people who can do that kind of thing, but I would check the art forums out to see if anyone is up for it. THE TRUE RAVEN might if he was on, but I'm not sure. I haven't seen him around lately.))

While waiting for Elook to respond to his taunts Shadow's mind began to wonder. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Kelly and examined her figure. He tried to imagine which costume would look best on her. Maybe dress her up as a secratery, he'd have to think more about it.

Kelly continued to entertain Luna, making small talk with the mysterious woman. She wondered briefly why the woman was there, but she thought it a bit presumptuous for her to judge a customer. After all, who was she to butt into the business of another?

An enticing figure indeed but what outfit would compliment it best. Something tight fitting with little need for ruffles and frills. Perhaps a short skirt or a high slit. His mind was narrowing options but couldn't picture anything specific.

Shadow yawned and stretched his arms while taking a look around the room. It was supposed to be a brothel yet no one was having sex in this building. Sad for a brothel so it's time to change that. He stretches his back than his neck form side to side than walks from around the bar to the stage. He takes a closer look at the size and height, taking in the guestimated measurements. "Time to put into play some of those ideas I have. What's a brothel without a little sleaze? A tease." Smiling to himself, confident in his new approach to be more active in the entertainment.

Wandering into the building, Eli looked around curiously. He wasn't sure if this was they type of thing he had in mind, but the reference said it was solid and that there was always a possibility that his services could be needed in such an establishment. Personally he was just eager to get back into doing something, anything, after having had people working for him to handle these things for so long.

He pursed his lips and gave his head a quick jerk to each side, cracking his neck before straightening himself out and walking on inside to find whoever he needed to talk to. He hadn't been contacted personally by the owner, but had been sent by another business acquaintance that was apparently speaking on the management's behalf. Upon his arrival he knew why, a brothel not exactly being the most legal business there was. But it could definitely promise some sort of action.

Upon hearing footsteps at the entrance Shadow turned his head to look. Seeing a man that fits the description given to him Shadow turns to walk towards the man's direction. "Welcome to the Cat's Meow. Are you here for pleasure or business?" Examinign the man up and down briefly, he welcomed him in with a business smile and his arms pointing towards a table.

Eli paused to assess the man that approached him, a thoughtful expression crossing his face before he finally spoke up. "Business. I guess you're the one I need to speak with." He walked toward the table that had been indicated, sliding into a seat gracefully, not getting too comfortable but seeming at ease enough.

"So tell me exactly what it is you need here and how I can help, then we'll talk price if I decide it's worth it."

"Ah, good good, I can stop being overly polite than", his smile fades and his arms drop as he places his hands into his pants pockets. He drops his body into the chair opposite Eli and crosses one leg over the other. "I'm Shadow, the owner of this quant place. And I never got your full name, just a breif description of what you look like and what you do. And what you do is why you and me might have some business. As you can see I'm currently only one man with more than a handful of women. And as you can see they're all quite beautiful. The problem is a lot of men would wish to steal them away, hurt them to hurt me, or simply cause an annoyance to what I'm trying to do here. The job is simple, protect the ladies of the Cat's Meow. Keep them safe so they can still smile at work like they do."

"I hear these are the kinds of jobs a man lives for, the knight", smiling with a half grin at Eli.

He found the man's straightforward manner quite refreshing, offering a similar grin in return. "I can think of worse jobs. And it's not that I need the money. I have plenty of that. But being the owner of the firm leaves me little to do. Tell you what, we'll keep this off the books and maybe work out some form of payment. Everyone could use a favor or a connection now and then."

Offering a hand to Shadow, he gave a nod in acceptance. "And it's Eli."

Shadow's grin just became wider. "Trust me, I know the value of favors"

He extends his hand and shakes Eli's, "Good to meet you Eli. And it'll be a pleasure doing business with you. And around here we know the perks of mixing business and pleasure." He thought for a moment, "Maybe I should make that our slogan", talking mostly to himself as he thought it over. He let got of Eli's hand and sat back. "I expect a few more escorts would be joining soon but if you need to know what the others look like I have their phots up on the walls"
