Unturned Stone (Rage and Candira)

"Good point," Zeke said with a smirk as he got the door for Carla. "Not to mention I think kidnapping involves taking someone unwillingly." Chuckling softly, he let her out and closed the door behind him, making sure to lock it before leading her to the car. Soon enough they were on their way to grab some drinks for the night for themselves and Roxxi, Zeke having gotten a decent enough idea of what the redhead liked over the last few days. He was fairly certain Carla could fill in the gaps easily enough if he had missed anything.

After getting the alcohol and stopping by to grab the food, Zeke having called in to change up the time frame on the order so they could simply grab it as take-out, they were on their way back. He found he'd enjoyed having the chance just to spend a little time with his new roommate and getting to know her a bit, and that she was actually a lot of fun to be around. It was going to be a pleasant experience living with the two girls, and he was looking forward to it.

After a bit of preparation once they had arrived back at the apartment, no doubt around the time Roxxi would be getting back herself, everything was ready and it was getting dark. The other three band members would be arriving at any minute to find their selection of Chinese and subs laid out on the counter for them, and of course with some more drinks in tow. It was soon to be a wonderful night of festivity and getting to know each other a bit better, and Zeke was very much looking forward to it.

Carla chuckled and continued to joke around with him. She helped him shop for drinks and load up his car with the food they'd ordered. She had a good time just talking to him and getting to know him better. Roxxi was a good judge of character. She wouldn't sleep with a guy she couldn't get along with. And Zeke was one of the most upbeat and friendly people she'd ever met. Living with him would be a breeze. Relaxed, she helped him carry up the food and drinks, holding the doors for him. Already her day was looking up.

Roxxi was home when they came in. The apartment had been picked up a little more and cleaned up just a bit while they were gone. She came out of her room looking freshly showered at the sound of their entering. She helped them set everything up and stored the drinks that needed to be chilled, keeping the others on the other counter. She tossed some paper plates and plastic forks out and sighed in pleasure.

"So, did you guys have fun together?" the redhead asked with a smile. She liked the idea of Carla making more friends--she was kind of a shy girl because of her asthma, and her family had never made her feel great about it, so she was coming out of her shell slowly.

"We had a blast," Zeke replied to Roxxi as they entered and began helping her to set everything up. "Our roommate is very pleasant to be around." He offered Carla a sweet smile as he continued helping to get everything just right for the party. Once everything was in place and they were waiting, he slid onto a stool, taking out his phone as it buzzed, checking the text he had received. "Ash is on his way," he told them, putting the phone down and looking back up at Roxxi. "Gotta figure Chance and V won't be far behind."

Soon enough there was a knock at the door, and Zeke moved to answer it, revealing the bass player as he stepped in once invited, looking around and giving a soft whistle. "Nice," he commented, looking to Roxxi and smirking as he held up a bottle of tequila. "Brought my contribution," he told them. "Hope we got some salt and lime."

"Great. I'm glad to see you're getting along so well." She smiled, adjusting the green dress she wore just a little before she started to get some extra stuff out--salt, pepper, and soy sauce. And then there came a knock. Ash came in with a whistle and the apartment was filled with bassist. His question about salt and lime drew the keyboardist out of the kitchen.

"Funny thing, I picked some up after work," Roxxi said with a smile. She invited him to come on in, take off his shoes, and enjoy a tour. She came to his side and gave him a little hug before introducing Carla. The pretty blonde smiled and shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you." She was nice, polite, and very charming. "Would you like a tour?" she asked, preferring to be proactive, rather than passive when it came to receiving guests.

Just a few moments later, V arrived with a small shopping bag and a container full of cream cheese wontons. "Hey guys!" she chimed happily. "Wow, nice place you've got."

Ash stepped aside and kicked his shoes off, sliding them to the corner after handing off the tequila to Zeke, who placed it on the counter and turned to offer his longtime friend a slight smile. When Roxxi offered him a tour, he wasn't smiling quite as much, but still managed to keep his expression somewhat civil. Then he was introduced to Carla, who offered to give the big man a tour herself, causing him to purse his lips a bit. Now both of them were fawning all over him, apparently. Finally, he dismissed it, moving to get the door for V when she arrived.

Waving her in, he helped her with the bag and container she brought in, giving her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks, babe," he told her as he waved her on into the place. Stepping in right behind her, Chance made his appearance as well, glancing around and giving everyone a smile. "Nice place you guys have here," he told them, having not heard V say it just moments before. He had brought a bottle of Captain Morgan with him, and some daiquiri mix. "Hope you folks have some ice."

Once everyone was inside, Ash looked to Roxxi and Carla and grinned. "I'd love that tour now," he told them, offering an arm to each before casting a triumphant smirk toward Zeke, who simply rolled his eyes a bit and moved to point out where V and Chance could deposit their shoes. Chance moved immediately to kick his boots off, then found himself a spot to stand as he took the place in. "Wow, living with two beautiful women, Zeke. Nice job," he said with a grin.

Roxxi smiled at Ash and decided to do overkill with the tour after all. She'd thought about letting Carla go by herself, but actually, giving a tour was a pretty big step for the blonde. She wanted to be supportive. Each woman took an arm and then led him on the short route around the apartment, coming back in about a minute. Literally. It wasn't as though there were a ton to see. Roxxi excused herself to go and greet V and Chance, who'd come in.

V returned Zeke's hug and kiss, telling him how to heat up the wontons. She'd brought daiquiri materials as well. And she hadn't even stopped to plan anything with Chance. "Liking it here so far, Zeke? Looks like a nice place. Can't complain about your roommates, can ya?" She winked and gave him another hug.

Roxxi came to them all now and smiled, giving them hugs too. "Hi guys. Come on in. If you wanna do the tour this time, I'll put this stuff in the kitchen," she said with a smile. "Help yourselves to the food," he reminded everyone.

Carla was still over with Ash in the living room area, left to talk with him, thanks to Roxxi.

Zeke smiled at Roxxi and waved for Chance and V to follow him as he began to give them the tour. Like the one the girls had given Ash, it wasn't exactly a long tour, since there wasn't that much to show off. After about a minutes or so they were coming back up the hall and the guys moved to grab some seats. "Alright," Chance said with a grin. "What say we get this little party started? Anyone think up any games we can play while in our alcoholic haze?"

Ash had stood off to the side with Carla, glancing to the attractive blonde from time to time, and offered her a sweet smile. "By the way, it's nice to meet you, Carla. Didn't really get to say so earlier." He then turned his gaze back toward the others, speaking up as Chance suggested getting things started. "No doubt!" Turning to Carla, the big guy offered that smile again. "Get you a drink?"

Roxxi set everything up and heated up the wantons as directed, setting them out once they were all finished. She came back out to enjoy the group as they came to the living room again. Chance's question brought up a good point. They hadn't really thought of any thing to do at the party. It was mostly just eating, drinking, and socializing.

"I have Quelf if you guys wanna play later," Roxxi offered. It was a neat little board game she'd picked up. It was a different game than most, but she liked it.

Carla, for her part was being friendly and talking to Ash, who seemed happy to be in her presence. "It's nice to meet you too, Ash." When he asked if he could get her something she nodded. "Sure. I'll take some brandy when you go for yours. It should be on the counter there." It was nice of him to offer at least.

V happily wandered through the tour, interested in everyone's room and how they were decorated. She smiled and bounced into the living room agreeing with the suggestion to get things started. She walked over to the blonde and introduced herself.

"Hi, I'm V. You're Carla right?"

And V made another friend.
