I think i can use it that way, but im not sure x3
 
It is fairly awesome card to use and lots of people were trying to use it for extended or even in standard.
 
Fusion elemental+runes of the deus+Unscythe.

13/13 double strike trample, remove creature destroyed by it from the game, and put a 2/2 zombie creature token into play.

All it needs now is death touch, kusari-gama.
 
Uril the Miststalker

Legendary beast from Shards.... He is an awesome general for EDH.

He gets +2/+2 per aura attached to him as well as having selective shroud and he his R/G/W so a runes on him makes him a 9/9 double strike trample
 
Well yes if you just want to put out many cards. But I mean Fusion Elemental can easily be Path to Exiled, any target removal would simply kill it. No true for Uril, with Uril only mass removal or combat damage could kill it so your opponent would have to think twice.
 
And I can make you sack uril, or wither it, or any number of other things

I can put shroud on Fusion.

There's a counter for everything.
 
True but the thing is you can do all of that on Fusion. In other words if we took:

Fusion Elemental
8/8
NO abilities

and

Uril, The Miststalker
5/5
Shroud, +2/+2 per aura on it

Fusion = Stronger with a direct comparison but... you can't target Uril so he is harder to get rid of. I can make you sack Fusion elemental also.
 
Its not it have, but its protected against spells from the opponent, but i agree, i prefer Uril, fusion elemental don't have any abilities.
 
Correct I kinda rushed it but Like i said earlier Uril has selective shroud. Comparing a vanilla 8/8 against a 5/5 who just does more then his share.

I prefer EDH over Type II, Vintage, Extended or Legacy...

I have been playing magic for about 10 years so.. I know a bit
 
Ahh.. yeah extended is pretty nice but when you read up on EDH the great thing is it is a 100 card deck of singletons, besides basic land, and the mana curve is like 3-5. So you get to play those high cost amazing spells ^_^. Extended is very much.. combo, aggro or blue.. T_T stupid thoptors
