Alexander hadn't seen a human for a long time. Years even. He had smelled them of course. They were always close to his home. But he had made a habit of staying far far away. They didn't show any interest in coming into his forest so he didn't do anything in return. But today seemed a little different. There was a new smell and it was wandering deeper and deeper into the forest. She didn't seem to be going anywhere specific. After almost an hour of following her, he reached a very specific conclusion. She was completely lost.

So he kept following her for a while longer before he decided to intervene. Without a sound, he dropped down from a tree in front of her path, smiling a little. All he could hope for was that she wasn't too startled when she saw him. After all, he was a werewolf. They weren't exactly out of place lately. The nobles kept them as servants and body guards. But a commoner wouldn't be used to it.

Still, he did his best to give her a calming smile, though he had a rather large canine for a human. He was also fairly attractive, especially compared to most of his kind, who were usually scarred and cruel. His eyes were a pale yellow and had a rather feral look to them. His hair had become a sleek jet black after he had turned and a pair of pointed wolf ears were always atop his head, paired with a long matching tail, which wagged contently. "Hello human girl. Are you lost?"

  • Well this was far too unfortunate. And for the most part, it just wasn't fair! She didn't get lost in forests! Unfortunately, and though she wasn't coming to terms with it yet, she was lost and didn't have the slightest of clues where she was going. However, that did not cause her to stop and simply look around, she merely went off things she had seen numerous times, not realizing that she had seen them numerous times because she had gone passed them before. Walking in circles without even knowing. Rolling her eyes up to the sky, the fire haired girl was utterly bored with this, tired of roaming around and not knowing where she was going, the female found herself huffing faintly. This was getting annoying, though when something, or rather someone, stood in front of her, having gotten in the pathway without her hearing or seeing him even get there.

Nearly jumping out of her skin and backing up just slightly, there was a sudden streak of frustration that emerged when he asked if she was lost. Nevermind that he had called her 'human girl', no that didn't matter. "I am not lost! I know where I'm going!" She stated stubbornly, stomping one of her booted feet on the ground, though still carefully backing up and off the path, this was not one of the best things to do, her foot stepping on a log and sliding out from under her, the female fell backwards with a faint squeak. Laying in this awkward position only for a little while, the faint green of her dress emphasizing the color of her hair and the honey brown color of her eyes, she blinked up at the sky and stood up quickly, pulling a twig out of her hair, "And I did not just fall over that log." She said plainly, scrunching her lightly freckled nose, her hands folded over her chest and she swiftly moved around him, casting a sideways glance at the fact that he had a tail. Wait- A tail?

ohohsee;; sorry this took so long to post.[/list:u]

Alexander couldn't help but smile a little when she tripped like that. This human was absolutely adorable. At the moment he couldn't remember why he had chosen to stay away from them. She seemed harmless enough. But then she marched past him, all in a huff about a simple little question. So he turned and followed, his physically superior body able to keep up easily. "You seem a bit lost to me." His tail was wagging now. Obviously he was more than a little entertained by her.

"But you obviously didn't fall..." He grinned, a pair of long canines showing off as he did so. "You slipped." He was hoping that his prodding and annoying would cause another entertaining outburst. "Falling and slipping are two very different things. Falling isn't your fault."

  • Wait wait wait. He had a tail, and judging by that tail, she had looked up and noticed he had ears to match that tail. So they were real! Werewolves were real? What in the world? She hadn't lived near this forest all her life, no actually, the only reason she had come here was to get away from her family for a little while, as her cousin, a royal, was getting married and quite frankly, that meant life in the town was a bit more busy than usual. Sure, she was a commoner, but that didn't mean she was a dirt poor commoner. However, be that as it may, she wasn't used to seeing any werewolves running around, and she had yet to ever see one. Hearing him come along behind her, she glanced back quickly before shaking her head and hurrying her pace, now figuring that she was halfway between a jog and running. She didn't know where she was going, so running would be silly. And evidently he could keep up regardless. Stopping quickly once he stated that she 'slipped', she turned quickly and glared through her bangs as he stated that she 'slipped' and that it was her fault for 'slipping'.

"No, I did not slip, I merely misplaced my feet." She stated plainly, her narrowed eyes remained on him, noticing the wagging tail that looked as though he were getting entertainment out of being an annoyance to her and pointing out things that she so plainly didn't do. "And how could I possibly seem lost to you? You-" Pausing for a moment, her eyes grew wide, her curvy figure crossed the distance quickly, one of her petite fingers poking him in the chest, "You've been watching me this whole time!" Her eyes remained at their wide state, poking him hard in the chest again with her finger, Elizabeth was absolutely livid with this. . This.. Whatever he really was! "You've been watching me walk around this forest not knowing where I'm going. And it's just getting darker, and I'm getting cold, and, once AGAIN, I don't know where I'm going!" Giving him another hard poke to the chest, her finger was hurting just slightly but that wasn't the point to her lecture, brown eyes staring up at him menacingly.[/list:u]

Alexander couldn't help but chuckle as she tried to defend herself again. She was still managing to entertain him at this point. But then she made her accusation about following her. His ears went flat and he looked a little surprised at her outburst. But then she poked him again and his ear twitched just a little. "Alright little girl..." He reached behind her, grabbing the back of her dress and lifting her off the ground with ease. "I have been watching you. You are in my home after all. This is where I live!"

His tail was no longer wagging and his eyes were turning a little black. He was getting annoyed with her aggression. "When I realized you were lost I decided to talk to you. Maybe try to help. But you decided to be a petulant little child. So I think that maybe I should leave you here in the woods to wander while I go back to my nice warm cave and start a fire. There is no way you can get home before dark..." He dropped her and turned away. "And I'm not the only wolf out here..." In the distance there was a loud howl to emphasis his point.

  • At about the time he grabbed the back of her dress, this was around the time that her nose scrunched just slightly and she surely wasn't enjoying this at all. Squirming though having no avail to getting free of his grasp, she couldn't help but meet his eyes when he frustratingly spoke to her about her being in his home. Well if she was in his home, couldn't he have kindly escorted her home? The change in the color of his eyes was noticable however, her narrowed eyes wincing just slightly, though at being called a child, the frustration between them seemed to grow even more. She was not a child! She was eighteen years old, though he didn't even bother to ask because apparently she was a 'petulant little child', when he stated that she couldn't get home before nightfall, her hope to do just that faltered quite a bit.

Hitting the ground with a thud, Elizabeth huffed softly, blowing a strand of hair from her eyes once again as she stood quickly and suted off her dress, he was obviously not going to be anything of help to her. The sound of the howl in the distance causing her bright eyes to look up, a bit startled by the sound, her chest rose and fell carefully; She wasn't a redhead for nothing. The stubborn teenager turning the opposite way the sound had come, she huffed again and stated plainly, "I'll just find my way out of here myself, no help from you." Hoping the faint sound of fear didn't creep up too loud into her voice, Elizabeth immediately started off in the direction she was going, not knowing that she was just going deeper and deeper into the woods. The forest trees around her seemed to hide the sky more and more, although the sun seemed to be making its way down on the horizon, the bottom of her dress was getting muddy as well as her boots and she had ran into one too many spider webs before hearing another howl that seemed to grow near.

    "That's not funny!"[/list:u]

Alexander didn't turn back to look at her. He was done listening to her complain when he had nothing but good intentions. She could go get eaten. At least that was what he told himself. He even managed to get almost a half mile from their meeting point before a howl met his ears, making them perk up. It sounded like 'fresh meat' and 'hurry before its all gone'. It sent a shiver down his spine. Sure she was a bit annoying, but she didn't deserve to die. So, with a sound of ripping clothing and the popping of bones moving about, he was a hulking beast of a wolf monster.

He turned and started to bound, much like the real animal, towards where they had parted ways. Once he found her scent, she was easier to track than some scared rabbit. There were broken leaves and scent markings everywhere. But just as he was about to return to his human for so he wouldn't scare her, another scent reached his nose. Real wolves. Not like him. A pack of animals all starving for the flesh of a cute redhead. And as one leaped at her from the shadows, he bound in, shouldering the creature. With a loud growl, four more stepped out, facing him with growls of their own. And after a long howl they cowered before turning.

  • Her eyes went large to find that this was evidently not some silly joke that the werewolf she had interacted with before was playing on her, her honey brown orbs darted around quickly, the thought of running sounded marvelous right about now. Just as she started off, a wolf jumped out in front of her, causing her to create a half scream and fall back just slightly. This was not funny, not funny at all, but evidently these were wolves, not werewolves. Instantly once the impact of the ground met her side, she immediately noticed that she wasn't currently being eaten, the sound of something landing awkwardly and growls emerging in a group, another howl and a few quick movements to shift back against a tree later, Elizabeth let out a deep breath. It was the first she had taken since catching sight of the large creature in front of her whom had taken out the wolves that were a few quick steps of eating her. Wiping her slightly watery eyes to keep herself from crying, there was still a tiny bit of stubbornness settling in the girl, she was supposed to have been home hours ago. Eyes clouding over, she rubbed her eyes again, close to crying though sniffing softly to keep herself from doing so, "This just isn't fair." She mumbled, leaning against the tree and closing her eyes.[/list:u]

After he was sure that the wolves had left, there was another series of strange sounds as he returned to his mostly human form. But there was one major difference now. He was completely naked. That was one of the problems with having to transform quickly. It meant that your clothes wouldn't make it. But he didn't even seem to notice. Instead he moved very close to the human. "Are you alright?"

His voice was more than a little ashamed. After all, he had basically left her to get eaten by wolves and if he hadn't made it when he did, she would have been. Even if he did save her, he had been rather rude. He could have at least pointed her towards the nearest village. "You went completely the wrong direction you know..."

  • Remaining where she was, Elizabeth stifled a few more sounds of a crying teenage girl, rubbing her nose before immediately catching sight of the change from a werewolf to the one she had noticed looked a bit more similar to the male at whom had been following her and suddenly left. "I'm. . Fine." Not frowning though not exactly smiling either, the redhead watched him move toward her, not specifically noticing that he was nude until he closed the gap quickly, her pretty eyes went large in their size, blinking quickly. It wasn't that he was just now telling her she had gone in the wrong direction, she knew that much, although she couldn't help herself but to laugh, covering her mouth and giggling, "You're not wearing pants, you know." She stated, keeping her giggles to herself because that could be embarassing for him, her cheeks were at a faint pink color because unfortunately, she had to look clearly to make sure he was naked. Yes. He was definitely naked. [/list:u]

"Good. I would feel bad if some little human got hurt because of me." But then she pointed out that he was naked and he sighed a little. He knew it of course, but after being away from humans for so long, he wasn't used to anyone really caring. "I know that I am naked. It can't be helped. It was either be naked or let you die." He looked around, but found nothing to wear. Of course there wouldn't be anything to wear. He was in the middle of the woods.

But after a quick glance at the sky he sighed again. It was already dark and he wasn't sure if the wolves would stay away forever. That left only one option. "You need to come back to my home. Its too dangerous to stay out here like this and I can't trust you to find your way back alone." He didn't exactly seem thrilled at the prospect. After all, she had already annoyed him enough that he considered letting her die.

  • Frowning just slightly when he pointed out that she was a 'little' human, just because he wasn't the smallest thing in the world he didn't have to automatically dub everything else little. Rolling her eyes plainly, her fingers moved up and shifted through her hair, the night sky wrapped around them and almost dared more things to come looking for the redhaired human sitting in the woods with only the slight protection of a naked werewolf. How unusual. Unfortunately though, the last option she had was to stay with him, and once he made an announcement of it, she let out a faint sigh, standing up carefully with the help of the tree, she looked down and noticed a large part of her dress had ripped from the thigh down thanks to landing on the ground at the awkward angle. Well that was just perfect. "If you didn't want to save me you didn't have to." She mumbled, noticing the tone in his voice was that of annoyance; He was annoyed?

She was the one who deserved to be annoyed. She had been walking through the woods just about all day and finally some giant werewolf dropped from the damn sky to say 'Well hello there, I've been watching you go deeper and deeper in the woods, har har.' Then he had the nerve to get a temper when she showed the slightest sign of being annoyed. Well she had every right! Then! She'd almost gotten eaten by damn wolves! Not bothering to fix her hair because he was naked and she was a quarter past exhausted, her eyes moved over to him, "Well?"[/list:u]

Alexander let out an exasperated sigh when she mentioned him not having to save her. "You really just want to be a martyr don't you? I chose to save you because I thought that you might actually be worth saving. I was just a little annoyed that you would call me all of the things that you did just because I wanted to make sure you weren't here to kill me. Werewolves aren't popular." He wasn't used to being around others. Conversation was a little hard for him.

But after a few moments he let out another sigh. "I don't deal with humans often. And what few I have seen since I ran into the woods were after some kind of bounty that is out on werewolves. So I don't exactly trust you alright?" It wasn't obvious before. But now that he said it, his body was like a spring, ready to jump at any moment. And he offered to let her into his home.

  • Worth saving? What made a person â??worth savingâ??, really? Raising a brow just slightly, did she look like the type of woman who could kill someone of his size? Really. She was five four and couldnâ??t weigh more than a hundred and twenty pounds, doing any damage to him with nothing at all was a little narrow minded of him. Deciding not to say that one out loud, the handsome wolf already seemed irritated by her, no need to put that out of her mouth and have him want to make a meal out of her. â?I didnâ??t even know what a werewolf was until I came into this forest!â? The female wasnâ??t used to being around forests like these, having been used to beaches and clear skies and sand and ocean. This was all far too new to her.

Imagine that. Not even being here for a month and already she was lost in a forest surrounded by creatures she didnâ??t know and talking to a naked werewolf. Her mother would claim her daughter had lost her mind if she told her about this incident, although at least she would hopefully have a dayâ??s time to find a way to explain this. Her brown eyes softer and less fierce because she was to the point of falling asleep right on the forest floor, Elizabeth let out a sigh of her own, slowly sinking back to the ground, â?Iâ??m tired. Hungry. My feet hurt because of these damn boots. My dress is ripped, my hair is a mess,â? Pausing to close her eyes lightly, her head leaned back against the tree, â?Iâ??m not a bloody bounty hunter. Iâ??m a woman who is lost in the woods.â?[/list:u]

Alexander felt a little guilty as he turned around and really looked at the girl. She was small and quite frankly adorable. She wouldn't pose him any kind of threat even if she did want to kill him. He was so afraid of humans and what they might do to him that he never gave them a chance. Then he noticed the shape she was in. Her clothes were ripped, she was messy and obviously she was exhausted. He couldn't help but bite his lip a bit before sighing. "I suppose you aren't exactly the bounty hunter type. I suppose I should be taking care of you a little better."

Then, without warning, he moved quickly to turn his back to her and hoist her onto him. His hands were resting on her rear and his tail was around her waist, making sure that she wouldn't fall. She was light as a feather to him and he easily began to run. But what he didn't realize was that with her torn dress, the bushes and branches went by and caused little scratches all over her legs. He simply kept holding her to his back, not even thinking about where his hands were on her. After all, he had been away from humans since he was young and to put it bluntly, he knew nothing about sex. He was completely innocent.

  • Her reaction to being picked up was that of a mere blink, to where it would generally be a full amount of being startled, especially when his hands held her rear without very much realization as to where they were. He wasn't doing it on purpose, or at least not in the manner to feel her up anyway, and since she was far too exhausted to make anything big out of it, her chest leaning against his back, her face found itself warmth at the back of his neck, closing her eyes and ignoring the pain that occasionally moved across her legs. Alright, so let's get this straight in her positively unclear mind. She was being carted away by a naked werewolf to sleep in his cave for the night until the morning so he could at least give her some clear direction as to where she was going in order to get home. Yep. That sounded about right. Letting out a soft breath of air into the back of his neck, the night air seemed to be getting pushed away as he ran, although the stars and the night sky continued to hang over them both, Elizabeth found herself falling to sleep.

ohohsee; if you like, we could do a time skip to the next day.[/list:u]

Alexander didn't notice that she fell asleep until he set her down on the warm soft mat he used for a bed. He let out a small sigh and turned away to go find something to wear. He didn't have much left anymore. So he pulled out a tattered t-shirt he had managed to repair after a change and loose cloth pants that barely were so big on him that they would fall without the rope that held them in place. Then, without a second thought, he laid next to her on the mat and wrapped his arms around her. No doubt a human not used to being in this situation would be cold. He just hoped she wouldn't make a big deal of it when she woke up with him like this. But he didn't dwell on it. Instead he closed his eyes and fell asleep a few moments later.

  • Surprisingly, she had slept silently and without very much movement, his body heat keeping her calm and without any much needed movement throughout the night, the morning sun was pouring itself out onto the world before she knew it. Her face having been pressed into the warmth that she hadn't recognized as a body until her eyes fluttered open just slightly, blinking as she found her face close to the fabric of a shirt, this very shirt being worn by the werewolf. Well this was different. Still silent, Elizabeth looked up at the ceiling of the cave before carefully slipping from his grasp, the morning sun wrapping around her as she carefully stood, the cold cave floor causing her to shiver just slightly, she didn't mind the fact that she wasn't wearing her boots anymore. Moving her fingers through her hair and smoothing it out, the sun seemed to light her hair to the intense red color that it was, folding her arms over her head and closing her eyes, looking over her shoulder, the female moved through the forest carefully.

That had been a little under an hour ago, the sound of running water drawing her in to a waterfall with a deep stream of water flowing from it, the female had taken the opportunity to leave her dress against one of the rocks on the side of the stream. The water seeming to split this part of the forest in half, Elizabeth emerged from the water to breathe, smoothing her hair back from her face and taking in a soft amount of air, so far the forest seemed to be at peace with her and there had yet to be any wild animals coming to eat her.[/list:u]

Alexander managed to sleep even more soundly than she did. He hadn't had anyone to keep him company for a long time and having a soft warm body against him was addicting. But shortly after she left, he let out a long yawn and slowly came into consciousness. But she was gone and he was a little upset by that. Still, her scent was strong in the air and easy enough to follow. So, after stretching and making sure that he was sure which way she went, he started to follow her scent.

He was a little confused as to why she would sneak off alone after being lost the whole day before. But when he finally found her in the water without her clothing, he understood. But he didn't announce himself or even move normally. Without thinking, he found himself sneaking along the treeline before jumping up into the nearest set of strong branches, watching. There was something about her bare body that hypnotized him, but he didn't know what it was.

  • Though the water wasn't crystal clear like it was on the beach, that gave her a bit of assurance for the still clean water that no one from the sky above could look straight into the water and see her figure. Besides, with the water naturally rippling with her movement and the push of the waterfall, there was no way for that to happen; This somehow managed to calm her nerves. Her back to the side of the forest at which she had found the waterfall, standing in the water that was easily more shallow than what she had been in before, the water now merely stopped at the curve of her waist, pulling her fingers through her wet hair before glancing up just slightly. She'd heard something move. Looking over her shoulder toward her clothes then letting her eyes flicker upward toward the trees, her eyes narrowed just slightly in seeing the shirt she had woken up looking at, blinking faintly because that instantly let her know who it was. "Dropping from trees again?" She called out to him, turning her head to look at the water again, her back remained toward him.

Moving into a deeper part of the water, the female turned to look at the tree he resided in once she had gotten herself at little deeper into the water; Sure, she had seen him naked but that didn't mean he got to see her naked. Maybe that wasn't fair, but a soft smile found itself on her lips as looked over to him again, her wet hair moved over to one side of her face, "Thank you." Elizabeth hadn't necessarily thanked him for somewhat taking care of her last night, even if she wound up waking up in his arms; It hadn't been so bad, truth be told, but she wouldn't be telling him that anytime soon.[/list:u]

Alexander, who didn't understand that it wasn't okay to see someone naked without their permission, dropped down shamelessly when she addressed him. "I was just making sure you didn't get lost again. After all, I went through all the trouble of saving you once. I don't want to do it again if I don't have to." But then she thanked him, seemingly randomly and he blinked a little. "Uh...You are welcome?" But then in another one of his strange and innocent moment, he started to pull his own clothes off.

As soon as he was nude again, he dove into the water, popping up a few few away from her, his shaggy hair and ears dropping with the moisture. This was his favorite place to bathe. "You picked a good lake. This is one my favorite." He grinned at her, seeming rather childish now.

  • Elizabeth couldn't help but notice that he seemed to be just slightly, fresh, not in the bad way but in the way that easily let one recognize that he definitely was not used to things like common sense and morals, that made her slightly think of a puppy. Sure, he was a big, and rather handsome puppy, but it was exactly like a puppy. Watching him drop down just as silently as he had when he crossed her in the path, the look of surprise on his face when she thanked him caused her to leave her smile where it was, her eyes grew wide however when he began stripping his clothes from his body. What in the world was he do- The splash causing her to turn her head, though become drenched with water even though her head was above water, Elizabeth shivered just slightly as he emerged only a few feet away from her.

Her eyes still large as she carefully floated back with the wave he had caused, his childish aura made her wonder about him. Maybe this was why she had never met a werewolf before, they were far too confusing to figure out; Then again so was she. "I only found it by the sound." She stated, nodding her head to the waterfall that wasn't too far away from her, as most waterfalls had, there was a space that was carved out naturally, the waterfall acting as a mock door that was easy to simply swim through and find yourself behind the flow of water. "You live out here by yourself?" Elizabeth asked, turning away from him again as she swam toward the waterfall, the flow of water steady and not enough to hurt anyone, the female let herself break the water barrier and let the water rush through her hair before disappearing behind the water, giggling softly.[/list:u]

Alexander swam after her, nodding a little when she spoke of finding it by sound. He could understand that. After all, it was very loud in his sensitive ears. But then she asked if he lived out here alone. He had thought that was pretty obvious. But once he was behind the water with her, smiling a little, he answered. "Yes. I have been living out here alone for almost ten years...But I spent most of my time as a big wolf not like this..." He looked at his handsome and attractively tanned body with a small frown, like he didn't like it.

"So how did you end up wandering through the woods?" He leaned against the large rock behind them and stretched a little. The water was at his waist as he stretched and he really was absolutely gorgeous except for the scar that marked his right shoulder. It looked like a huge bite from some kind of animal.

  • Her hair having moved to settle on either side of her face, sticking to her skin and clinging to it while the rest that touched the water moved with the current, so far the both of them were being cooperative with one another and hadn't said anything to annoy one another. Well, that was quite possibly because she had been a wee bit cranky the day before for reasons that were already established. Honey brown orbs looking to him shortly after he moved behind the waterfall, she half made sure that there was a slight distance between them, not wanting to feel a random brush of his tail moving about in the water at any cost, it was unfortunate that he had been alone this whole time and was such an attractive man. If he was from where she was, minus the werewolf qualities he had, one of her older sisters would have scooped him up in a heartbeat, even as innocent as he seemed to be.

Sadly though, she had seen numerous attractive men like him and Elizabeth was not the type to get her hopes up for anything, the redhead was far too fiery for her parents to marry her off. It wasn't as though she wasn't pretty, no the girl was beautiful in her different way; Sun kissed skin, faint freckles over her nose and eyes that mirrored something sweet, sure she was beautiful. She just didn't want some forty year old man to call a husband. Blinking faintly as she regained her composure and thoughts, his question had slightly caught her off guard and his moving wasn't even noticed, her eyes stared out into the forest, "I was getting away from my family, my parents mostly." She stated bluntly, looking up at the curved edge of the rock around them, her thick eyelashes blinking lightly before finally closed them. "I don't even know your name." And you're naked in a river with him. Swell.[/list:u]

When she said that she came out here to escape her family he couldn't help but chuckle just a little. "That was why I came out here. My parents were terrified of me so I ran away." He thought it was more than a little funny that they were both in the woods for the same reason. Of course he was sure she wouldn't make her stay as long term as his. Then she mentioned that she didn't know his name. That caught him off guard. He hadn't even thought about that sort of thing. In fact, when he tried to recall his name there was a strained expression.

"My name...My name is..." After a few more moments he got a pleased look. "My name is most certainly Alexander...I can't remember my surname but I don't think that is really important anymore." He smiled, rather pleased with himself for remembering. He thought it was something special after all. So his tail was wagging under the water, the tip occasionally rising above the water around them to cause ripples.
