It was a long summer since graduation, and Alex was happy that college was finally starting. Able to get out of the house, away from family until Christmas. Carrying two luggage bags and a backpack into one of the dorm buildings wasn't too hard either. He wasn't overly strong, but he could carry things forever if he had to. Semi long brown hair was disheveled, falling into his blue eyes.

He went to the front desk and said his name, and got the key to a room on the third floor, 325. Great, a flight of cramped stairs. Somehow, he made it up in less than ten minutes. The stairs were followed by a long hallway. They sure wanted to kill him, eh? But he eventually made it, and putting down one of the luggage to fish the key from his mouth, he opened the door.

He had seen men and women on the floor, so he guessed it was a co-ed dorm. Fair enough. He wouldn't mind. As long as he didn't get a gay guy as a dorm mate, he was fine.

He slowly unpacked, picking a closet and starting to fill it with his shirts and pants. His dorm mate wasn't here yet, so he left the door cracked, so they could get in easier. He peeled his shirt off and threw it into his closet, deciding to change after packing it all in there. His body was toned, having worked out the summer, getting rid of the small layer of fat and toning muscles.

  • What are little girls made of? Snails and puppy dog- No stupid, that's little boys. Now once again, what are little girls made of? Sugar, spice, and all that's nice. Well, there was a certain female who defied that nursery rhyme and slaughtered it. Sure, she was the sugar and spice, but you didn't have to equal out to being nice with those two things; No, whoever made up that rule was a moron. Her lightly glossed lips smiling faintly as she pulled into the large student parking lot, the female looked to her friend who sat next to her, one more girl in the back seat, the three of them all got out of the car and took in the college air. The driver of the silver Range Rover smiling as the summer air wrapped around her, the biracial girl was used to this sort of weather, a mixture between early fall and late summer, she had yet to say a word and already she had an aura about her that was demanding. The light breeze of wind shifting her hair just slightly, her bangs dusted over her eyelids as she scanned the college courtyard, already having been through the school twice during orientation and her private viewing.

Clicking her tongue behind her teeth as she tucked her hands away into the light blue hoodie that adorned her upper half, being that it did hold on to the top half of her curves as most shirts did, her black flip flops moved swiftly as she crossed a bit of distance between her car and a group of males who looked just big enough to carry her things inside. Well hey, if her friends didn't want to carry their shit, then they could just do what she did. The Italian and French girl's mixture of cultures had evidently done her some good, Corinne smiling her bright smile and simply asking, she tugged at one of the guy's shirts and before she knew it, she had more than enough help in carrying her things. Waving goodbye to her friends after locking her car, her short denim cut off skirt emphasizing the natural tan that numerous girls envied, the distance up the stairs was quick, guiding them to the room that she was organized to share with another person, rolling her eyes at having to share a dorm with anyone in the first place, it was just slightly aggravating. Eh, she would get over it.

Moving to dorm room three twenty five, her eyebrow raised just slightly in seeing that the door was proped open, before shaking her head at hearing the movement inside. Pushing the door open lightly, she let them set her things down on a bed before smiling and waving her fingers at them in a cutesy way; They wouldn't be getting her number. Walking into her dorm room, her hazel eyes grew just slightly wide at the male not wearing a shirt, mentally finding that this was a good welcome greeting. . Up until about the time that she realized who it was. "Well fuck."[/list:u]

The men that came in and dropped their stuff off did nothing to stop his packing. Great, jocks for roommate. He would have to kill himself by the end of the week if they talked sports the whole time. But they walked out, and he was quizzical as to why. But he shrugged it off, continuing to unpack his stuff, nearly done.

Then he heard the voice. One that he didn't dread, but certainly disliked. He turned when he heard it, and his eyes narrowed. "What are you doing here? Come to rub my nose with some grand college your daddy got you into?" He scoffed as he finished putting his stuff up.

Him and Corinne weren't on the best of terms. Having to go to school with her in High School, having to deal with her snide comments, really put a barrier between them. She was one of the reasons he went to the gym daily over the summer.

  • Her arms folding over her chest as he looked at her with an expression of dislike and unhappiness to see her, a pout formed on her full lips as he scoffed at her without even saying hello, why on earth would he think that she took the time to go and find him just to torment his sad life? Never. And even though most would find it comforting to see such a familiar face, her lips remained at a pout, "Aww, some one's a little bit grumpy." Speaking as though she were talking to a two year old, she moved to one of her three bags, unzipping one of them and pulling out a smaller bag that held all her bathroom needs, she had to mentally have restraint to keep her eyes from looking him over; Summer does some people good, as she noticed.

"But in case you decide to throw a big fit, I'll go to the store and get you a toy to keep your temper tantrums down." She replied simply, rolling her eyes at him because obviously she went to this college just like he did, and had gotten accepted. Since they weren't in high school anymore, there were things that could be done to keep them from being around each other, although she was going to make sure that if the roommates were switched, it was his ass getting switched, not her. Walking passed him as she dialed a number on her pink iPhone, the other hand holding the toiletries bag, she looked up just slightly before stating plainly, "Scholarship, by the way." Quite a correction. Rolling her hazel eyes to the ceiling again, she moved to the bathroom and began to set her things out along the counter, sliding the other contents under the sink.[/list:u]

As he hadn't gone into the bathroom, his stuff was still in his bags. She was going to get a awakening when she saw what he did to her stuff when he put his own up. He finished packing and threw on a white beater, one that helped accent his new toned body, and he pulled out the sheets and blankets for his bed. Simple blue, though his sheets were silk. He was surely going to torture her with those sometime soon.

After finishing with his bed, he pulled out his laptop case and Set his laptop up on his bed. He grabbed the internet cords and hooked them up quickly, followed by his adaptor. He turned the power on and set it on his bed, going out of the room to get a pop. He froze at the door for a moment, then sighed. There was some semblance of being a decent human being, at least towards her, left in him, and he called out, "Hey, i'm going to get a pop. You want anything?"

  • Looking about the bathroom and mentally planning out a few things she would do with it, touching lightly at the shower curtain, the dull thing was one of the first things that had to go. Walking from the bathroom and moving to her suitcase, Corinne began pulling her things that were all neatly folded out of her bag, not getting an answer from the floor supervisor, she would definitely go speak to someone important in a little while about this mistake. Glancing over her shoulder however as he offered to go and get her something, clicking her tongue behind her teeth to avoid saying something rude, she looked into her bag before nodding faintly, "A chocolate bar. Please." The please took a half a second to get out, and though she still didn't agree with herself in saying she would enjoy his company, if he was offering, she wouldn't decline.

Glossed lips pursing just slightly, the female began moving about the dormroom and unloading her things, sitting on her bed and crossing her smooth, firm legs at the knee, finally, she got one of the dorm managers on the phone. Apparently there was no way that people could be switched out of their rooms, most of them already booked up and no one having been asking to switch rooms except for this one, letting out an aggravated sigh, she immediately hit end and tossed her phone onto her bed. This year would be a lot more difficult than she wanted it to be. Pulling off her hoodie to reveal the black tank top that held onto her upper half nicely with lace along the bottom, Corinne easily finished unpacking before sliding her her suitcases under the bed.[/list:u]

He came back into the room the moment her hoodie hit the ground. He simply tossed the King Sized Hershey bar up to her, and climbed up onto his bed, holding the Mountain Dew in one hand. He was thinking of getting her the smaller one, but again he had a rush of niceness and got her the larger size. He fell onto his back as he grabbed his laptop, pulling it onto his chest and typing in the password, hearing the usual sound for logging in.

He turned to her after a moment... then turned back to his computer screen. She sure did hold her looks over the summer. He was hellbent on not looking over her form, though. He didn't need to give into weakness like that. So he focused on his screen, tying a few e-mails out.

  • The hershey bar coming close to colliding with her face, she hadn't even seen it coming, frowning slightly because he totally could have told her to look out for the king sized hershey bar. Deciding not to let the frown toy with the pretty features of her face, Corinne looked to her phone as it went off, picking it up carefully and letting her eyes graze over the text message that one of her friends had sent her, already there was to be a party tonight. Grinning softly, Corinne reached into one of her drawers and found a towel and washcloth, within ten minutes she was in the bathroom taking a shower, even with that ugly shower curtain. Less than thirty minutes later, the brunette emerged wrapped in a towel, momentarily she let her thoughts roam over if they actually would have to share this dorm room together; Oh sweet Jesus.

"I guess, if we're going to be in a dorm together, we need some rules. It only makes sense." Corinne stated, looking over to him and crossing her arms over her chest before continuing on, "Rule one, don't leave the toilet seat up, because if I take one dip, I swear to God, I will wake you up at whatever time it is and make you go put the toilet seat down. Rule two, FLUSH the toilet. Rule three," Pausing again and directing her index finger to his laptop, her manicured fingernail was perfectly aimed at it, "That thing. You can not be on that thing all night." Wet hair sticking to her face, she didn't pay attention to the fact that she was merely clad in a towel, coming out of the bathroom to get her change of clothes, the ride here had been a long one, which deserved her taking a shower.[/list:u]

He had been happy that she went into the shower, it gave him time to himself to use on his laptop, talking to people. But it was short lived, as she came out and started spewing stuff about rules. He heard two about the toilet, then he saw her finger point at his laptop, saying he wasn't going to be on it all night. He kept his eyes on the laptop, deeming her unworthy of a gaze at the moment.

"A few things. A, you act like I haven't lived with a woman before. B, this 'Thing' is a laptop." He pulled out a pair of headphones and plugged them in, fitting the earbuds into his ears. "And what are you, my mother? Trying to tell me when I can be online?" His head turned to gaze at her, taking a moment to notice her hair was wet and she was only clad in a towel. He turned his head back quickly, typing something fast before reaching where his laptop case was, and pulling out the wireless mouse, plugging it in and trying not to gaze back at her form.

  • Rolling her eyes at him because he hadn't made eye contact and THEN tried to compare living with her to his mother when he stated 'lived with a woman', her arms remained crossed over her chest while the towel was properly tucked in at the side. At least respectively waiting for him to finish, even though her eyes narrowed as he put headphones in, Corinne definitely wasn't done talking to Alex, but if he wanted to be that way, it was fine; She would make him listen. Her smooth legs moving quickly, with a quick reach out, the female easily closed his laptop, knowing it didn't bother anything he was doing, though her eyes now glaring at him for so rudely trying to shut her up. If he wanted to be rude, she could easily throw it right back in his face, never mind the fact that the chest that had been revealed earlier was not too far away from her in a shirt that could be easily ripped. "I know what it is, Dork. But you can't expect anyone to get to sleep with you typing on that thing like you're asking for your fucking fingers to pop off."

It made perfect since, as if she were to stay up with a guy for an entire night, he surely wouldn't be able to sleep (or keep himself from watching), him typing and pecking with that annoying laptop of his at night would absolutely kill her. Half sure that he would do it anyway just to test her patience, setting aside a plan in case that did happen, her hand remained over the laptop, "And I don't care who you've lived with," Leaning forward incredulously, her head tilted as her hazel eyes for a moment looked innocent, "Besides Alex, you should know that I'm not like any woman you've ever met." She stated, nails tapping over the top of the laptop before moving her curvy figure away from him to her own things, Corinne began to find something to wear.[/list:u]

He hadn't donned the headphones to ignore her, being that there was no sound coming out of the speakers at the time, it was more of a example of how he could quiet things down so she would be able to sleep. When she got closer and closed it on him, though, his eyes narrowed, turning his head to glare at her, focusing his eyes to target only her face. He listened to her words, recognizing the truth behind them, sighing a bit. He knew when any argument was defeated. "Fine, i won't stay up late on my laptop."

Her other words definitely put a chill down his spine. What had she meant by that? He slowly opened his laptop again as she walked away, eyes unable to help but look over her figure once. "Fine, I'll go by your rules. But for you I only have one. No bringing other guys into this room. I don't need to be kept awake by your sounds, his sounds, or the two of you bashing your bed into the wall." His eyes stayed fixed on his laptop screen, trying his best to ignore her figure as she got a new pair of clothes on. He didn't want to look like the creepy roommate to her, at least.

Just trying to be civil.

  • Smiling because the answer she had gotten was one that she knew she was going to get, it was merely a girl such as herself was used to getting what she wanted. Consider it being spoiled. Running a brush through her dark brown hair, pulling out a few tangles here or there, the female looked up only once when he stated that he only had one rule, and that was for her to not bring a guy into the dorm. Pulling out a pair of dark washed jeans and laying them out on her bed, a red halter top laying out on her bed was quick to follow, before looking over to him. Pouting softly as she put her brush down, Corinne looked over to him, setting her hands on her hips and keeping her pout, "Don't get your panties in a bunch Alex." And though she was only teasing, she could understand how it would be to wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of a guy moaning out her name, the thought causing a faint grin to spread over her full lips.

"Fine, but only if you don't bring in a-" Pausing and pursing her lips at the thought, she blinked her eyes up to the ceiling and immediately busted out laughing. Ha. Alex having sex with a girl. Negative. Those chances were so slim they might as well be compared to Kate Moss. Rubbing her eyes that had just slightly teared up, she hadn't meant to laugh at him, clearing her thoughts as she said, "Sorry." It was about the only apology he would ever be getting from her, taking her clothes and underwear and moving back toward the bathroom. "There's a party tonight. If you can quit typing on that thing for an hour then you should come." Corinne said as she stepped into the steam filled bathroom to finish getting dressed. Her phone going off on her bed, the female didn't hear it at all as she completely dried herself off and blow dried her hair, pulling her jeans up her lower half and tying the strings of her halter top behind her head.[/list:u]

Her laughing had his face go red. He hadn't thought about bringing a woman in for sex. Hell, he had his first offer not too long ago, a week, perhaps? But he shot it down. He didn't see himself as one for idle sex. But her laughing did bring a mix of anger and embarrassment. Her apology quickly got rid of the redness on his face, and as he heard her offer of going to the party, he shook his head. "Liquor doesn't mix well with me." And that was true enough. The last time he drank he put a hole through a wall because his anger flew out of him.

Thankfully, she moved into the bathroom, but then he heard her phone go off. He thought that she would get it, but after the second ring, it was obvious that she couldn't hear it. So he pulled the headphone bits out of his ear and jumped off the bed, after putting his laptop to the side, and moved to hers. He grabbed the phone and headed to the bathroom, knocking on the door lightly before opening it a crack and putting his hand through with her phone. "You got a phone call."

  • The blush in his cheeks immediately letting her know that he had probably never had sex before in his life, it was such a shame that he was letting a new body like that go to waste. Grinning to herself because her mind was in the state of 'If he wasn't such a dork, he would be able to lose his virginity in the best way possible' Of course, Corinne was the best way possible. Period. Rolling her eyes though as he stated that liquor wasn't something that settled well with him, Corinne called out through the bathroom bluntly, "You don't have to drink at a party Dork." Duh stupid. Obviously he didn't know the difference between having a good time sober or drunk, deciding that she would drag him out of this dorm room so he could go if he protested against it anymore.

The knock causing her to turn around just slightly, she turned the blow dryer off, and looked back when her phone was handed to her through the door, taking the pink iPhone before opening the door, "You're going. It's not even that far away and you don't have to drink. You can not possibly keep yourself in this dorm room for the FIRST night of being here. You can not." She said plainly, hazel eyes looking to him as one hand held her phone and the other held the door, "Besides, you can't be a mole person for your entire life." Corinne added, deciding against pointing out that he might actually enjoy it if he got the stick out of his ass, she put it in nicer words.[/list:u]

He was listening to her words, a smirk going over his face at the former. Was that a Challenge? He might not have been very big when it came to talking to people in High School, but he excelled at challenges. He simply stared her down. "Make me." He his voice was taunting a he turned away, hearing her words about not being a mole for the rest of his life. He made it look like he shrugged it off, when it shook him down to the core in actuality. He jumped up onto his bed, pulling his laptop back onto his chest.

It took a moment for him to make up his mind, but he eventually started going onto the web. He had a book at home that he had been reading to learn some stuff, but he forgot it. So now he went to the website, going to read the virtual book, so to speak. One eye was on the bathroom door, the other was on the computer as he was reading. He definitely didn't need her catching him reading this, for it was a book about sex, a bunch of different positions and ideas for people to use. The moment he would see her get close, he would shut his laptop.

  • He would wish he hadn't said that. He would pray to God that he could take it back and wish he had just said that he would go without force, though the 'make me' playing around in her head, her hair beginning to loosely curl naturally, her arms folded under her chest and watching him walk away. Closing the door and listening to her voice mail, the female deleted it accordingly before moving from her bathroom and looking him over, she moved into their shared closet and easily found herself grabbing a hold of one of his shirts, taking it off the hanger and moving from the closet. Letting her eyes settle on him as she held a black shirt, she clicked her tongue behind her teeth and let her bare feet move across the carpeted floor, "I guess you've left me with no choice." Shrugging faintly as though she truthfully cared, her hand reached out for his laptop again, closing it and shoving it off his chest, the female moved swiftly and straddled his lap, pinning him down.

Truth be told, this was a rather compromising position, mostly for him because there was a full figured girl holding him down and demanding that he say whether or not he would go. "You're going. Get ready. Put this shirt on. You're going to have fun. You're going to make friends." He really had no choice in the matter, and Corinne made sure of that, glaring down at him as her hair acted almost as a barrier between the two of them and the dorm room around them.[/list:u]

Mentally he was curing women and their abilities. She just pushed his laptop away and was straddling him. His mind fuzzed at the thought of that. Her figure was over him, and it wasn't that much of a stretch for his mind to imagine her and him in the same position with a loss of clothing. Now, that thought, coupled with the feel of her straddling him, was more than teasing on the mind, and he quickly grew hard. But there was the comforting fact that he was sure that he was bigger than any man she had been with.

He might as well give in. The sooner she got off, the less chance she noticed his arousal and the less chance of her screaming at him for that, as well. "Fine, fine, i'll go to the damn party..." He sat up, moving himself slightly so she was over his knees. Merely a foot away from him now, he pulled off the beater and threw it off the bed, hearing it hit the ground a good 4 feet below, before he took his black shirt from her, throwing it on. "You happy?" He said in a rather dark voice.

  • This was what he got for trying to be cocky about something. This was what he got for not knowing who he was trying to counter - challenge and plainly state for her to 'make him' go. Oh well, if he had his mind clear enough, he would find himself partially enjoying it, and judging by the lost look that originally crossed his face, he didn't know what to think. However, apparently something else did, feeling something just barely stiffen between the two of them and it definitely wasn't anything on her. Moving with him when he sat up, she wasn't getting up until he put that shirt on, her mind was mentally screaming that what she had in fact felt was a bulge, keeping that to herself for now. Blinking softly when he pulled the beater off and tossed it to the floor, her eyes subconsciously looked over his toned upper torso, biting on to her bottom lip before watching him pull the shirt she had picked out on over his body.

Whoosh. God bless the gym. The dark voice he gave her did not phase Corinne at all, still halfway sitting in his lap to make sure that he didn't try to back out of this, it wasn't like he was going with her, so he didn't even have that to complain about. She just hated to know that her roommate was a total stiff. Speaking of which. . "Apparently you are." She stated, the corner of her lips curling up with a smirk before moving herself from his lap and walking back into the bathroom, "You better not chicken out Dork."[/list:u]

He scowled as he heard her remark. Apparently she DID feel him harden under her. Well, what the hell did she expect? He wasn't use to that, and it was obvious from her words earlier that she knew that. He scoffed at her other words as she disappeared into the bathroom. He jumped up off the bed, making sure to close everything on his laptop and turn it off when she wasn't looking, and he went over to their closet.

He rifled through a few things before pulling out a brush, taking care of his hair in moments before finding his wallet and shoving it into his pocket. He looked over the pocket knife that he usually carried around for emergencies, but thought better. His hand-to-hand got better with his own practice, so he doubted that he needed it in any case. So grabbing his cell phone but keeping it off because the battery was still low, he moved to the door, waiting for her.

  • Laughing softly from within the bathroom as she turned off the light and put her blow dryer away, she moved back into the dorm room, she looked over to him as he stood in the closet finishing getting himself ready, again, the girl was just spoiled enough to know how to get what she wanted. Taking a hold of her bag and sending a text message to one of her friends, the time was around seven forty five ish and the sun was disappearing beyond the horizon, the party having started a good hour ago. Good, that way if it sucked, it was an easy walk to get back to the dorms. Adding a light amount of lip gloss to her full lips and putting her key into her bag just in case, Corinne stood up from her bed and moved to the door where he stood, "Are you ready?"

There was no reason for her to even ask that, grabbing a hold of his hand and pulling him out of the dorm room once she closed the door. Releasing his hand from her own soft one, she moved down the long hallway and looked back at him over her shoulder, "Why do you not want to go anyway?" Again, it really didn't matter because she was making him go, but curiosity didn't hurt anyone and it evidently didn't bother her to find out why he didn't want to go in the first place.[/list:u]

Her first question was mute to him. He was waiting for her to go, and she pulled him through the door anyway before he head a chance to answer. "Why should you care why I didn't want to go?" He said in a rather low voice, averting her gaze and pulling his hand away from her.

  • Her eyes rolling as he had an absolutely sour look on his face, her arms folded over her head lightly as though she truthfully couldn't care, and for the most part, she didn't. But when he got snippy and used a tone with her, that was around the time that she let her gaze to him become fierce, "Quit being a fucking dick," She mumbled, having only been holding on to his hand to pull him out of the dorm room in case he decided to change his mind. He could always turn back around and go back in the dorm to sit by himself typing on that laptop of his, but he had yet to do so. Hm. "And that did not answer my question." Corinne added, because in reality, it hadn't. It was just him being snippy and rude. Being civil was far too hard between them, apparently, but then again at what point had either of them mellowed out too much to be civil?[/list:u]

He growled as he heard her call him a dick, a low sound in his throat. "You really want to know why?" He said in his low voice. "Because, it's going to be High School all over again. Standing in the corner, maybe talking to two or three people, then leaving. I rather stay back, thank you."

And with that, he did turn back, going back to their room. He was taller than her by about a head, and his longer legs let him storm back up to their dorm in a matter of moments, him pulling out his key from his wallet - because he didn't have anywhere else to put it at the time - and locking the door behind him after he got in. He pull the black shirt off before grabbing shampoo and bodywash and disappearing into the bathroom, hardly giving her enough time to respond and get back to the room before he was in there.

He turned the water on after closing the door behind him, making it a hot shower as he set things up at the edge and stripped the rest of his clothes off. His whole body was sculpted in toned muscle, never-the-less the length that was at his groin. He stepped into the shower, sighing as the warm water him him, turning away from it so it could beat at his back.

  • Now turning to look at him as he began to explain, she had just barely reached the stairs before he began to complain about how it was going to be like high school for him. Once again, this only caused Corinne to mentally draw back to him having a stick shoved up his ass and because he didn't know how to let himself have fun for once in his evidently dull, dull life. He actually enjoyed being a mole person. Wow, what a little- Her mouth opened as he walked back to the dorm room and slammed the door behind him, her mouth was left hanging open in a perfect 'O' shape because he really did not just leave her out in this hallway because he was evidently scared to go to a party. What. A. Puss. Clicking her tongue behind her teeth, the annoyed girl stormed down the stairs and dialed the phone number of one of her friends, the sun disappearing behind the horizon as she moved down the sidewalk to the fraternity row.

    ~ ~

The party had been a bit of fun for the set of girls, and herself, that Corinne had gone with, her bag loaded with phone numbers of guys that she quite frankly would never call, although walking back into the dormitories around twelve forty five, the female moved with her group of giggling friends. The long stretch of hallway was where she found herself alone again, moving down it's obnoxiously long length before stopping in front of room three twenty five, her key moved into the lock before the door was opened and the slightly buzzed female moved into the dorm room. Eyes not once dropping to the male in the bed across from her own, the female moved to her drawers and pulled open the top one, finding a t shirt and a pair of gray short shorts and moving into the bathroom, politely slamming the door behind her.

Finishing after taking a shower and drying herself off, Corinne tucked her wet hair up into a messy bun before walking from the bathroom in the clothes she intended to sleep in. Turning on the light to make sure she didn't run into anything in putting her clothes away, again, the female avoided looking at Alex at all, still evidently pissed off at him. [/list:u]

After he had taken his shower, he had changed into a loose pair of pajama pants, opting not to wear a shirt to bed, because it was more comfortable that way. He had logged back onto his laptop, and multitasked talking to his friends and reading the book that he started earlier. He had gotten about halfway through it, and most of his friends having logged out, that she had came back into the room. He didn't even look at her, turning his laptop off quickly.

He got up from bed, putting his laptop in the desk that he had, then jumped back up, laying down and looking up at the ceiling, with his arms up and his hands behind his head. From how his bed was, she wouldn't be able to see him too well unless she was in bed or standing. But he generally ignored her, as well.
