Maggie just shook her head and pushed him away. "You have a long way to go to earn my forgiveness. You broke me even more than anybody else. You dug yourself this hole." With that she was turning away from her before she was running off, back towards where the other two were at, tears falling.
 
Rafe leaned against the wall and held his head in his hands before he turned and walked out of the mall heading back to the manor. while they were headed back to their homes one of Aarons men dropped a copy of the letters off for Maggie at her fathers letting him know that when he felt that she was ready that she needed to see them.
 
Z just looked at Maggie as she came over and questioned, "Need a ride home, girly?" Maggie just shrugged then spoke, "It doesn't really matter to me. Or I'll walk." With that she was going over and giving Diana a hug before she mumbled that she was glad that she was alright.
 
Maggie was just giving a small nod although there wasn't a smile at all. Nope she was utterly dead emotionally at that point in time. And she was asking Z to take her back to her father's home.
 
Two weeks went by since the attack at the mall and Diana and Aaron were returning from their vacation. while the vacation had help Diana heal and relax she was still jumpy and would still wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat but thankfully she had stopped screaming so she wouldn't wake others up in the middle of the night. Diana was currently on the phone with several members from the group who had called her as Rafe was acting strange and refused to talk to anyone "ok we will talk to him when we get back but please don't do anything to annoy him we don't need him flipping out." Diana then hung up and looked at Aaron "looks like two weeks wasn't long enough for them to make up"
 
Aaron looked towards Diana when she mentioned Rafe and how it hadn't been long enough for them to make up. With that he gave a small shrug then he spoke, "He hurt her severely with not just being honest with her, not talking to her. And it doesn't help that a week ago Maggie herself ended up leaving with her father for a meeting amongst some of the other top Dons in the world. They went to New York and are due back tomorrow." And tomorrow would be the final day for the trial, and he knew that in the end they were definitely going to win. Z had definitely done her job well in the last two weeks that she had been spying on them and gathering evidence. Then she had just kind of disappeared for a little bit, unpaint that target on her back for a brief while. He was looking at him phone when he got a message from Amie was assuring her that they would be back that night. "Well the threats towards Amie have gotten worse since you left, but she has held her ground. But she actually admitted she is scared about tomorrow. Takes a lot for her to admit that, but she did."
 
"she's not the only I am more than a little terrified of what tomorrow will bring" Diana had to be there as well so she knew how Amie felt and the two of them had to face the others while waiting to hear what would happen. Diana then shifted and leaned against him and sighed a little as her head was killing her from all the flying they had done. Diana looked at the pup that now accompanied her everywhere and smiled as she scratched his head "thanks for him by the way"
 
"You dont have to go. You weren't called in at all." Aaron pointed out after a moment in time, and was stifling a yawn.
 
';I know but I am not letting Amie go alone I'll be there for her" Diana gave a small smile and then looked over as the car pulled up to the house
 
Aaron looked towards her then spoke, "Your decision, I can't stop you either way." He looked towards the mansion as they pulled up, legitly happy to be home.
 
"no but I do want you to know where I am after all that has happened I don't mind keeping you up to date on where I am going" Diana smiled when they pulled up and the car parked once it was done she got out and looked up and frowned a little wondering where their female members were as they always showed up to greet them when they arrived or they had before they had left on vacation. Diana headed in and stopped in her tracks where she saw the house was trashed
 
Aaron walked into the mansion and looked around for a brief moment in time. What the hell had happened. With that he was actually taking out his phone so that he could call Rafe to see what the fuck was going on. "Give Amie a call, see where she is at." he told Diana after a moment in time. It was strange the house was trashed, the others would have made sure not to trash the place.
 
Diana nodded her head and then pulled her own phone out and called Amie to see what was going on. Diana was more than a little shocked to see how trashed the house was. "what the hell it is like they had a party or something and without us to hound them to clean up they just let it accumulate "
 
Amie wasn't answering her phone when Diana called, although it wasn't because she couldn't. It was more because she was currently passed out at her desk. She had been going over everything that had been collected in the last two weeks, and finalizing everything, making sure that she wasn't going to have a bombshell dropped on her own head. And her phone was currently sitting on the kitchen counter at the time, where she had been last sitting with Jason a few hours ago, the pair of them eating.
 
Jason walked into the room carrying her phone and gently shook her awake "Amie Diana called you" Jason was also fielding calls from the females of the group who were rather pissed about the state of the house and refused to go back till it was better not like he knew what that meant
 
Amie just mumbled something before she was rubbing her eyes a bit, and was yawning. With that she was taking the phone from him and speaking, sleepily, "Hey Diana. What's up?" She was sitting up and stretching a bit, before she was getting stuff put together in a nice pile once again. Not that she really knew the state of the mansion either, she had been staying with Jason at his place. And had kind of taken over his office, temporarily anyways.
 
"do you have any clue as to why the house is trashed and I do mean trashed plus none of the female members are here like they normally are I know Aaron is calling Rafe as we speak" Diana looked around and frowned it would take them days to clean by themselves
 
"I have no idea. I've been at Jason's house the past week. It is a lot quieter here, and Z is constantly getting me new information. So much information that my head wants to explode at this point. But it is all good information." Amie spoke in a soft voice before she was getting up to go out to the kitchen, and giving Jason a light peck on the cheek. She was apologizing to him for falling asleep on him again, that had been a pretty normal thing the past few days. And was commenting that coffee was much needed at that point in time. "I can come over and help clean in a little bit. Give me some time to wake up."
 
"no need when I find the guys they are going to clean it up" Diana was well respected and feared by the guys even with her trauma she still had put most if not all of the guys in their place during one fight. one of the guys had thought it would be funny to grope her while Aaron was out and she had beat the living shit out of his even while still in pain.
 
Amie was just giving a nod of her head as though Diana could hear it before she spoke, "Alright sounds good. Let me know if you need some help." With that she was saying good bye before she was going over and wrapping her arms around Jason. "Guess the house got trashed." she mumbled after a moment in time. Despite napping for a few hours she felt utterly exhausted. Yet again she had been overworking herself the last few days taking in all of this information.
 
"that would explain why I have been fielding phone calls from all the girls the last few days" Jason turned in her arms and wrapped an arm around her waist "you need more sleep love especially since tomorrow is the last day of the trial."
 
"I want to sleep but I want to spend time with you. I feel like if I haven't been working, I've been sleeping. I feel like I've been ignoring you." Amie spoke in a soft voice, and was just resting her head on his chest.
 
Jason stroked her head lightly "its ok after the trial we can take a trip and be alone for a while I am not a petty man to get pissed over you doing your work" Jason kissed her head and smiled at her "I do want to be there when they find Rafe though I bet he still hasn't showered"
 
Amie looked at him before she spoke, "You go on ahead to the mansion. I'm going to shower myself and go to sleep. It is only like 2 in the afternoon. Whenever you come back, if I'm not awake, wake me up again around 6 or so."
