Gealach closed her eyes and opened them again. Tears began rolling down her cheeks as she saw the dead Fisher cat. She even let out an animalistic yelp of sorrow which at least would be somewhat recognizable. She dropped to her knees and bowed as she put her hands together. It was her way of apologizing for failing to save the living.

It wasn't any kind of language, but body language was mostly universal. Eleodoro put his hands togehter and bowed as well. He didn't get on his knees though and just put his hand on Gealach's shoulder. He then pulled her up as Gealach looked sadly into the eyes of the cat people.

She said nothing but her facial expression said it all. The sorrow in her eyes was visible to all who looked and she hope that they could at least see how sorry she was.

She opened her hand up to the Fisher cats and a darkness began to form up into a sphere. It started to morph as she closed her hands and as she opened them out came a shadow made rose in full bloom. It was black from petal to stem and she laid it on the corpse of the Fisher cat as she bowed once more.

The guards from earlier had landed to and gave their condolences by a quick salute, a hand on their hearts and a deep bow all in unison.

Admittedly the nature beast looked as if he could cry any moment now. He loved animals and being a nature beast he could communicate with them. While he may not have been able to communicate with the cats he felt the same feeling of joy and comfort around them and now one was dead and there was nothing to be done in their end.

No known beast or fairy could raise the dead. Eleodoro was the only one known that could be capable of such, but alas he was too young and too inexperienced to learn such a grand and ultimate spell. It was simply out of his league and wpuld be for possibly ever as the tomes of old were most likely burned up or hidden away on their own world.

Gealach smiled as she received the directions and the cute fishy charm she was given. She desparetly wished that there was some way to communicate with them, but with no words to say to them or her own she held her tongue and followed the trail.

Eleodoro made a signal to the two guards and the fire fairy nodded as she kissed the nature beast's cheek to calm him down.

His signal was for them to watch the cats so that they would have a line of defense should harm come their way.

Maybe this was a blessing in disguise for them. Perhaps this event could be used to bond the cat village and the fairy settlement.
Gealach followed up the trail as Eleodor followed her along.

.:. Eleodoro has joined Gealach's party.:.

She continued forth and wpuld glance at the cats as she followed the trail in peace and quiet. Elo looked at her and sighed softly.

He spoke up almost quietly for once in his life and gave her the most caring gaze.
"It's not your fault you know..." His voice tried odd as Gealach teared up again.

"I couldn't save him Eleodoro..." She yelped out and hung her head sadly.
She had watched her people get torn to shreds and used for their bodies as vessels for those cursed variants. She wanted to cry out into the stars and say sorry for being such a horrible queen despite all the good she brought to her kingdom.

All Gealach could manage to do was cry out and nearly fall over as Elo pulled her into a strong hug.

"I'm sorry my queen... It is quite sad yes, but you must move on ok?" Elo stated and sighed as she nodded softly.

Gealach was just tired of the death and destruction, she didn't want to be apart of it and to see one dead already hit her heart the most.

Eleo walked her though the trail while picking fruits and berries along the way. The moon Light dragong Gealach held with her seemed sad that she was sad and curled up on her shoulder for that little bit of comfort and morale support.

She sniffles and sighed as she held in remaining tears. She would be fine right? Right. She would get through it if it were the last thing she did and she could commit too.
She started to pick up the pace and follow deep into the trail as she examined her fish pendant. She didn't know what it meant to do but she loved it anyway.

She was happy they didn't somewhat hate them anymore and so she now put it away and went with the beast of light. Half way through they had stopped to rest as she stared into the reflection of a pond at herself and at the bloody mess she had made.

It didn't help that her dress was torn and honestly just half way off.

.:. Tight dress has become too damaged to eqipped. .:.

She wasn't embarrassed though and neither was Elo as they kept wandering in the trail. And every now and then they woukd pick up safe fruits on the way and smiled at how they tasted although didn't realize that some had pits too.

She was humming along side with Elo who walked with hands crossed and a stern expression on her face.
She wanted blood of more wolf blood for killing her new clone friends.

Hopefully if she found out she could some how put an end to all of the madness!

It was a rather short funeral. A simple prayer with the body being returned to the sea. The sea gave them life, and thus they give back what was given to them. The sky was at dusk, soon turning to midnight. Many of the cats were returning to their village around now with whatever they were able to collect. Some came with fish, others came with crops. However, almost all of them walked back around the same time.

Gealach's little fish charm glowed as the sky turned darker. The beasts in the woods began to howl and growl, moving about. The once friendly and peaceful look of the forest began to change into something more sinister. Shadows danced on the floor, moving from one object to another. The light faded, giving the forest a much darker, dreadful appearance. Then there was a roar. This roar was something Gealach and her kind never heard before. A large beast awoken.

The ground shook and trees fell. Whatever this thing was, it was shaking the entire region. Gealach was able to see what was occurring with her fairy of the night eyes. The mountains were moving. This move wasn't subtle but rather heavy and violent. There was no grace in their steps. The beast was awake.

At the little town of Der Ocea

A paladin stood at the town gate, guarding his small brethren as they passed through. His armor stood strong, and his weapons was as bright as the morning light. His hair was white like snow, and his eyes red like wine. Some fairies and beasts were able to capture a glimpse of the knight. He was different compared to the others in his region. His armor was made of metal rather than cotton and leather. His sword broke the darkness that covered the town. He was a light in the darkness, a crack under the covers. A being of light.

Nearby, smaller demons began to come out the ground, chasing the cats to the gate. The knight stood in between them, sword high and head lifted up. He was ready. One by one, the smaller demons were slain. Beheaded, slit in half, purified by holy light. Evil did not stand against this being. For this being was a divine paladin.

In the small village of Rose Forest
Homes were finally being finished. Even a few shops began to open among the small districts that formed around the single path. Although it was small, it was a step in the right direction. Maybe they can finally rebuild from what they lost, even if much of their time, effort, and technology was destroyed in the previous war. This was their new home.

"Eleodoro, get the guards into defensive position around the feline village. Establish a perimeter in groups of two and leave two with the children! Let all those who can summon a familiar summon." She commanded and pointed Elo to their settlement.
He saluted to her and nodded. "Yes ma'am I will do so at once." He replied and flew off as Gealach flew toward the paladin and though not exactly next to him she stood some feet away as her night eyes picked up on what could not be seen.

She was a creature of the darkness, even in the earthly history and mythology books it depicted her as the darkness it self. The night manifested into the body of a woman which was a fairy.
To be honest it wasn't far off at all actually. As far as she knew she did rule the darkness like the books stated.
She only hoped that not too many people had read it, she remembers how her scouts had brought a copy of that book back and how they drew her in a similar fashion. It made her wonder how they got her right, she also remembered how it was her mother instead, after all the two looked almost like sisters if you lined them up.

Gealach even inherited the white hair too. The white hair she absolutely loved.

She snapped back to reality quick, the point was although she was of pure darkness it didn't mean she was evil. She would do anything to protect her people and these new feline friends too. So she stood and fought despite her dress being torn.

It had left her naked except for the underclothing, a simple bustier with a thong and garter belt. It was definitely not the most appropriate attire for battle, but right now decent clothing was the least of her worries while whatever lurking in the forest was still present.
Since it was a simple dress there wasn't much to be done with it anyway.

Gealach held her long sword as her dragon stared off into the distance with her. Her night eyes picking up anything she wanted to practically, or more accurately, what ever was in the woods to begin with.

Elo had come running back to the scene. He had done exactly as she told him and now wanted to join whatever was about to go down.
He even had his familiar with him as well, a half grown up lion cub ready for action. It was just not growing out it's mane too. How cute right?

Thoughts raced through her head. She still thought of the scouts... wait.. the scouts!

A fleet of fae and beast who had traveled back and forth to earth to know the people and places. Her course mage and her fiance was here!

Unfortuneatly what she did not know was that turning the war the life of her future husband was extinguished and burnt out.

It explained why nature couldn't control itself back home. Why plants and animals got even more hostile towards the variants. He met his demise when mistaken as a vampire and was impaled on a silver spear. If only she knew....

Luckily that left her court mage alive and some others of the fleet.

The were lucky to have someone familiar with this new world. Someone or multiple someone's who could translate certain languages and show what was what. She was hoping and praying to her ancestors before her that she woukd be ok and that she woukd find her soon.

Her Uncle was also alive on that fleet too... if only she could find them... if only...

Gealach continued to stare into the darkness of the forest and held her breath ready for what ever the monster was to show itself so that the could hopefully leave soon.

She wanted to find some sort of home to call and her court mage and guard captain once again.

She woukd go crazy without them! She also had hoped that the other remaining divines were ok too... Becquereal... Andaria, Noir, Frost and Ugh! So many... She just hoped that they didn't meet their ends either.

It was nice to have Eleodoro, but it didn't stop her from being frightened of what was to come. She was more than. Scared at this point. At least of their whereabouts, but now she just had to focus on the path ahead. She felt the fish charm and remembered the dead Fisher cat.

She would at least fight for all the fallen, far and feline included. Now it was most likely time for a battle.

Nearby the feline guards stood watching. Their little spears had lanterns on the ends to light their way. Although it was a dim light, enough of them were posted around the perimeter, effectively giving their village a barrier of candlelight. One light stood the brightest out of all of them. A light that matched the sun blasted through his sword, irradiating the ground around him. The paladin's sword brought light to the darkness. Any demon that got too close felt the heat of his resolve, the fire from his passion, the light from his angelic sword.

Go, Short but simple was his orders. It was more than enough to tell the little ones what to do. They ran into the night, following their formation to fight against the lesser imps. One after one, the demons were slain. The cat's spears brought death against their enemies. Soon, the demons began to flee. Spears were raised in the air to symbolize their victory over the small beasts.

Large stomps began to shake the ground. A hole began to appear from underneath the new path between Der Ocea and Rose Forest. Something large came out. What was that? A arm? Once the clouds that covered the full moon split, letting rays of moonlight come in, the thing began to get clear. An arm! Multiple arms! They all began to come out of the ground. The cats looked scared, looking back at their neko knight. They ran back, fleeing behind the small walls erected around the village with their tails in between their legs.

Don't be afraid. He looked back at them. I'll protect you all. Before eyeing the creature's many eyes. I promise. He dashed forward, taking one good slash at the behemoth. The slash bled the creature, birthing a holy light from its wound. It's eyes bled, covering the area around it with a black, molasses-like substance. Underneath the neko paladin's steel boots slowed him down. The substance grabbed at his shoes, holding him in place.

Some of the fairies were caught inside the black tar. Their wings ripped out, but as they tried to escape, the tar splashed onto them. It held them down, pulling them deeper. The goo is alive. Shinji yelled. Step back! He began to cut his way through with limited success. The substance was malleable. One slice was not quite enough to cut clean through it.

The beast laughed at their struggle. Glowing red orbs lit the ground where they stood. Something was being siphoned from those trapped within the tar's grasp. It was only a matter of time before this situation would turn dire.

Shinji attacks for 7(1d6 + 2 strength)

Elo's shield now covered in a holy light was almost blinding to those not used to it. Like Gealach a single tear rolled down his cheek as he heard of the several fae and beast get their pride and joy ripped away should their wings actually be out.

Gealach took no time and quickly stood in a defensive stance. The moon was bright a d full and she was ready.
On that note her dragon wanted to help to and had puffed out a ping pong ball sized fire ball but many at once.

.:. Moonfire attack rolls for 2 out of 2 .:.

It was small and nearly looked pathetic, but it was far from weak.
Gealach then charged for the beast with her lightning blade and sliced at it.

.:. Lightning blade attack rolls for 5 out of six .:.

She struck at the beast but kept her wings closed ssoit couldn't rip them away and Eleodoro had done the same.
He stood with his block and waited for the beast to attack him and he and Gealach uttered no words a d fought in complete. silence as if they knew what each other was going to do already.

One thing was for sure that noth stood tall, strong and ready for war. And the two wanted nothing more than to vanquish the creature and save the kitties.
Their ears did perk though as they heard the stranger and his fiery sword speak in a way where they could understand... it was best that they noted that for later.

But for now their only focus was battling and nothing more. The two were fucking furious and were determined to take it down at any cost.

They wouldn't let it attack theirpeople again. They simply refused.

Although the attacks were strong, they seemed to have no effect against the demonic creature. This sludge behemoth had a distorted laugh, spreading the goo out even further. However, the neko paladin kept trudging closer to the impending beast. It's long reach was enough to reach the lights of the village, stopping at it's perimeter. Glowing bright orbs surrounded the village, holding the darkness back.

The sword plunged into the creature did not come back out. Gealach was stuck inside, slowly being absorbed inside of it. The fairies that were once fighting it were now struggling for survival as the creature drained their energy away from them. It seemed to get stronger the more living things that were stuck inside of its range. Shinji breathed in, channeling his energy. Whatever the knight was planning, it was going to be something big.

The kittens began to throw spear from the safety of their walls, meanwhile, some of the priest cats walked towards the sludge, fanning the orbs of white light into them. The sludge seemed to be repelled from the light, escaping their small range. Once the cats figured out its weakness, they began to meow. The neko paladin's ears perked as they did, his sword glowing brighter slowly. It would take time for him to charge his attack.

The creature realizing it's weakness was now known, sped up the draining process. Many of the fairies wouldn't last another moment longer. It was do or die for Gealach. She was the one who was right in the center. She needed to either fight her way out of it, or kill it before it kills anyone else. It was her choice. Her choice was now. Shinji looked over at her. "Protect me!" Arms slammed his back like a tidal wave. The beast really wanted Shinji out of the picture quick.

The creature used spirit drain.
Creature is immune to fire, physical, and electric damage
Fairy drained by 1hp (2/10)
Fairy drained by 1hp (2/10)
Fairy drained by 2 hp (1/10)
Fairy drained by 2 hp (2/10)

Creature gains 11 hp (20/20)
Creature uses arm wave of Shinji 5(1d8)
Shinji takes 5 damage (16/23)
Shinji charges for Holy Sword Flash (

Gealach screamed out and didn't know what to do. She couldn't risk her winks being torn off and she had no light abilities. All she could do was punch and kick and hoped her impressive strength did something. She was pretty sure her shadows wouldn't do anything, but she tried to anyway.

.:. Gealach use Shadowclaw .:.
.:. Gealach has rolled a 4 out of 6.:.
.:. Minus 5 energy.:.

But one did have the power of light that could prove to be as fervent as the kitty swords men.

Eleodor stood tall and strong, His shield wasn't just made for defense though, but he decided it would be best to take the time to heal his companion.
"I got your back!" He yelled to his feline fighter and dashed over as he casted his spell.

.:. Eleodoro used Lifeline.:.
.:. No dice roll required, Shinji healed for 3 Health.:.
.:. Minus 5 energy.:.

Eleodoro backed up as he studied the creatures movements as he gritted his teeth hearing the fae fall.

The four fae fought back against this creature despite being captured.
One of light, two of gemstones, one of water.

They each tried to use the basic of attacks on their dying breaths.

.:. Fairy of light uses sphere of light and rolls 5 out of 6.:.
.:.Minus 6 energy.:.
.:.Fairy of gemstones uses her crystal rod to impale. Rolls a 4 out of 6.:.
.:. Fairy of gemstones uses crystal of light..:.
.:.All Light based attacks increased +2 for the next turn.:.
.:.Minus5 energy.:.
.:.Fairy of Water uses Hydro blade on the creature and rolls a 2 out of 6.:.

"Dammnit... What the HELL am I going to do?!" Elo cursed as he watched the others. He decided quickly that for now he would keep his watch over Shinji as his shield glowed faintly.
