Rumors always circulated of a special pet shop, a store with creatures much different than your common house cat. Creatures with special...abilities. Appendages. Perks. They would say that these pets were cuddly, comfortable, but very mysterious.

Not much was known about where these creatures could be found, or where the shop set up...shop. Some say it even moved at will, finding the perfect people for their pets.

In this particular instance, the shop found a spot right in front of a route frequently traveled by a particular person. One suited for an exotic pet.
 
Mana sighed as she casually walked down the street luckily that it was the weekend and she didn’t really have anything to do other than mostly explore that which was the boring outside world away from home as always save for the few times of the year with holidays she actually cared about mostly stuff like Halloween or christmas at the end of the year for of course being some of the obvious reasons but also liking the fall seasons the most out of the other three with spring, summer, and winter being the others in that order of preference.

Walking down the busy street and passing a few allies, mana made it through to see one very odd looking shop indeed that was hard not to think about going in besides dumb curiousity, never really seeing a pet store accept for a mostly few rare times she could actually check one out than seeing one out the window of a car as she usually passed by it when she was out with her parents. The girl would decide to cautiously check then at least as her footsteps could be heard as well as the odd door slowly be pulled open as she walked in very nervous and importantly as cautious as she could.

“ hmmm...” thinking quietly seeing a few mostly common ones at least in the front then a few creepy and exotic ones before slowly moving deeper into the shop and seeing a few more exotic ones until finally out of the corner of her eye she could see a few weird colors of jelly like masses being blobs....looking on confusingly whether they were food, a weird pet bed or an odd floor decoration.
 
“Ah, I see you have great taste, bro.” An oddly dressed man, who spoke way too loudly, had 6 fingers on each hand, and had larger-than-normal nostrils, gave her a weird smile. He, or at least he looked like a he, smacked the top of the case holding one of the creatures. “Don’t let appearances fool you, that is one smart bitch.”

The creature looked up at the person smacking the cage, and if it had a face, one could have sworn it was staring daggers into the man. It looked back at the girl in front of it, hoping it would take it away from this idiot.

“So, did you want to take it for a spin? Because we have more to talk about if you want this fine creature, my homeboy.”
 
She sighed crouching down a bit to get a closer look wondering if it had eyes or anything beside being a blob before quickly standing up straight and backing up as she turned to see a very very odd looking man that didn’t look normal at all with obvious features missing or something else generally odd.

“Uh...u-ummm sure....” responding awkwardly but keeping her guard super up than when she walked in before tilting her head and slowly seeing it start to move as it was actually a real blob and not something else that made it appear like it. “ well first don’t call me that...” crossing her arms a bit annoyed, “ and second what would be special though beside being ‘smart’ I would want something like that...” deciding to ask to know more at least before making a decision, “ and beside I don’t have much money, I just came here from my rarely dumb curiosity.”
 
The man? itched his shoulder and pondered for a second. Then it jolted from an idea. Ignoring her complaint about his language towards her, he? continued to speak loudly. “How about this, you could borrow it? Try it out, see how you like it for the next 1000 years or so. If you don’t like it, no problems. If you do, at the end of the 1000 year’s, just pay me full price, plus half, and we’ll call it even.”

The blob nodded at the girl, trying to give it ‘sweet eyes’. It really REALLY didn’t want to be here with this bafoon.
 
she couldn’t help but smirk a bit seeing she would probably be dead anyway and technically it was free with very few risks for now and there was probably no way she could get out of her anyway without doing something at least. “ fine, if I’m getting it for free anyway for a long while...so how does it even work? It can’t be as simple as that especially having a weird blob thing as a pet that’s not fake? So how does it work then....” crossing her arms and stepping back away from him again glancing over at the box again.
 
He? smiled, figuring he got a sucker. “Real simple, take this Pet Phone and this brochure” he slid over both. “And look through this book if you have any questions about your editing choices. Choose them now, and we will get to the...other part afterwards.” He rubbed his hands together, which apparently was the only universal gesture for successful creepiness.

The blob started hoping up and down, changing colors wildly. It was definitely excited. It had been too long that it was cooped up in this thing. Being fed so little. Now it would leave this place forever!
 
She didn’t really pay attention, turning her back on the cage and looking at him making sure to keep her distance, “ hmmm they really put everything into this didn’t they...but putting them in a mostly dumpy place like this? Well...” shrugging deciding not to think too much about it for now as she slowly dragged the brochure toward herself before picking it up and reading a few things just as something to show her ignoring him at least but not being dumb and paying attention to what he was saying but not seeing his creepy actions this second.
 
“So, whenever you’re ready, Just sign here, here, and here, ya dig?” He? held up a rocker symbol and a pen. Apparently, he was just that confused on human culture. At least he got the language right.

A couple of hours later, the blob found itself lounging in the sun of the room of the girl, whose name it learned was Mana, and giving off a contented orange and blue swirl.

The girl looked over at, not helping but laugh a bit at least with some of his oddness at least calming down a bit as she had one hand in the pocket of her jacket before taking the chance then and signing it.

With all the odd damn craziness she decided to quickly buy something to eat and just stay at home for the rest of the day along with her very odd pet, letting it roam around and explore of course like common sense when it came to things like this as well as not knowing what to do at all but of course going through the odd device and reading on various traits as well as the oddly good idea that there was a service that turned out to be free for a pet sitter then. “ well I get why I guess...” shrugging as she laid on her bed only wearing black colored panties and a sleeveless blue shirt with a red design laying on her bed casually.
 
Watching Mana playing on the device made the blob curious. It worked it’s way to the side of the bed and, awkwardly, climbed to the top. It rolled around, loving the comfortable bed as opposed to the floor, and came right up next to the girl, trying to see the screen from her side. It mixed in a purple color for curiosity as it snuggled next to the pants less girl.
 
Mana continued to see what she could really find out about this weird damn thing besides most of the settings, seeing that it was all genetic stuff that she could turn on or off things like shifting its colors and that it had the oddly but really cool ability to glow in the dark, a pet sitter thing like before and some general stuff like even a mood reader as well when she wasn’t directly in contact with it at least. Feeling something on the bed she turned to glance over at ignite not helping but smirk at the odd cuteness of its curiosity as she went back to her phone before actually feel it against her completely this time but didn’t bother to look at it just because she didn’t feel like it but didn’t mind as well.

With a yawn and a stretch she put the phone down before switching to her normal phone and just relaxing, pulling the blanket up to cover herself at least for the rest of the day until she had to or felt like doing something else.
 
Blob felt her pull the coverings over herself. It snaked it’s tendrils out to pull the blanket to see what was underneath. Looking down, and then back at her, it squirmed underneath until it found a comfortable spot beside her legs and popped it’s, well, what you would consider a head, out of the covers. It looked at her with that same purple color.
 
“ jeez...” pulling it back up a bit though not much as before and relaxing for a while before finally getting up with a stretch for the bathroom then coming back for a moment to get her phone and deciding to go down to watch tv then not minding if it would follow or not then as she didn’t really have real feelings towards the thing yet though didn’t hate it.
 
It decided to stay, relax beneath the covers, and wait for when she would return. After waiting around, bored, it followed the girl down to the room where the tv was. It scrambled up on top of the couch and curled up again, settling to watch the weird images projecting.
 
Mana mostly just relaxed for a while again seeing there wasn’t much to do as she mostly figured it out especially when she read a few “suggestive” and of course obvious words like vibrator, sensitivity, or even tasty, having a weird feeling but not really hating it as it also just had some random cool things like being able to regulate its body temperature and being comfortable to probably even sit on. Taking the other phone again she looked through deciding to test it out then finally at least as she stood up, “ ummmm....seat?” Giving a command wondering if it would know what she meant thinking like a living bean bag chair or something, never having a pet at all with having to really train it as it had to be a lot smarter than it really looked.
 
It looked over at Mana, and shrugged, getting down and forming into a perfectly comfortable looking bag chair. It changed its density down below to stay sturdy, softer up top to stay comfortable. At the end, it would be a comfortable orange chair.
 
She watches of course confused but also seeing how awesome it was, “ well damn...if it’s this smart it should be like easy like a dog or something, but kinda cuter mostly and useful....” giving a chuckle before stretching and turning around before falling back to plop dat ass onto the top and sink into it a bit as it usually worked but being comfortable. “ well at least I don’t have to deal with that damn weirdo...” relaxing and feeling kind of a lot better now as she turned to the tv.
 
When Mana plopped down, the blob squished and, if it could speak, would have “oomphed!” Mana’s ass was comfortable to hold, a nice roundness to enjoy. It positioned its head to make her head a bit more comfortable and supported.
 
Of course she leaned back a bit at least, feeling the fluid like softness of the jelly blob now surrounding which actually still wasn’t that bad at all, eventually standing up to stretch and go to the bathroom as she sat there on the chair for a while until it was already dusk out already and getting dark as the room around her got dark before giving a yawn but still either watching the tv or using her regular phone.
 
As it got darker, the blob got more tired. It didn’t move or anything, just got a bit softer. The color changed to a greenish blue color the further they sat in front of the tv. The girl on her phone, the drone of the box, and the comfortable feeling of freedom just kind of lulled it to sleep.
 
Soon she fell asleep a bit as well before waking up after a while and already seeing how late it was, giving a yawn as she stretched and got up to get some water before slowly walking back and stretching for a moment before just staring at the blob and leaning over to gently pick it up and walk up to set it on her bed before leaving and coming back again of course after getting her phone and charging it at least before finally making it into the shower and dressing in the same outfit as she crawled into bed with a pillow between to separate them just so she wouldn’t have to roll onto it or anything finally falling asleep.
 
Horrible, terrible light shined in, causing the blob to go further under the blankets. It just wanted to stay in the comfortable bed all day. In the dark. Where there was no man slapping the top of his cage and speaking way too loudly. It looked around for the girl underneath the blanket and found her, content to lay there for the rest of the day.
 
Of course it was odd but not very surprising that the two shared something in common st least and that they weren’t both someone and something to really be up in the morning at all than just be mostly lazy and lay down all day. Yuma eventually pulled herself off from under the covers with a stretch and a sigh before deciding to go to the bathroom but also take a shower as hell since it had been mostly hot for a long while before coming out with a towel to slip on the same panties but a different shirt then.

“ jeez that feels better already...” giving another yawn before opening the door then and walking down as she would leave him alone then for a while as she got something to eat.
 
If the blob could hiss, it would, as the blankets were shifted. But soon it was cuddled up and resting peacefully. It wasn’t ready to move just yet. It heard the water going and was curious as to why humans bathed so often. They didn’t do anything like rolling around on the ground all of the time, like it did.

After a while, it wondered where she went. Reluctantly, it slipped out of the bed and went down to the kitchen.
