Dungeon of Bad Ends (Homebrew System)

Scarlett let out an audible sigh as her foot crashed against the wood of to the door to as little effect as she imagined it would.
"No luck...! Hopefully you can find something over there Cassie..." The girl would slowly shift out of the way of the door before leaning back against a wall beside it before her bold blue eyes caught the sight of Dwarf breaking from her brood corner to join in the party's efforts [Rest]. With a soft smile Scarlett's gaze followed the Dwarf and she silently hoped for her success. At this rate it was going to be a shameful trip back home when Red and her companions were defeated by the front door: it would likely be terrible for her reputation, not that she cared about that!

Rest: Scarlett intends to wait until the beginning of the next scene in this location without taking any more actions unless the circumstances change.

Cassie only shook her head as she turned her back to the large double doors and gave an exasperated sigh. “No…I found nothing,” she admitted wryly. “Nothing useful, anyway. However that door’s locked, we’re not getting out of here anytime soon.”

The rogue moved to stand next to Red, watching with vague interest as Kerrish stepped up and attempted to kick the door down. “If that doesn’t work, I can always have another go at the lock. Maybe I’ll have more success next time.”

Mechanics
STR -1 / AGIL +3 / WIL +0
Action: none, pending the outcome of Kerrish's action and the start of the next scene.

Louella leaned against her hammer and stared at the door, before glancing around at her current companions. She knew that if the kept hammering at the door, it would have to give way, but to do so without rest was tantamount to suicide, since no one knew what awaited them. So since she wasn’t going to try again for a few minutes, she decided she may as well get to know the folks she traveled with. She turned to Kierish and extended a calloused hand, smiling. “Since we’re going to be working together, we may as well make nice. I’m Louella, but my friends call me Lou.”

Kerrish's powerful assault splintered the door further, but not quite enough to get through it. As they struggled with the door, the heroes took a few minutes to think about their options. However, it soon became clear that time was not on their side. Although not as dramatic as the massive cloud that had rained on them when the double doors had first slammed shut, or the dusting Scarlett had recieved when she tried to pull the vines free, pollen was still slowly drifting down from the cieling. Although they did their best to cover their skin and avoid breathing it in, lone motes of pollen would slip through their defenses, gradually building until even the hearty dwarf was feeling the effects.

It may have been almost a relief, then, to hear noise from the other side of the door. The jangling of metal against metal may not have been the most reassuring sound, nor was the sound of claws scratching against the wood. But, before long, there was the distinct metallic scraping sound of a key turning in a keyhole, and the lock on the door came undone. It swung open, flooding the room with the sullen orange light of the setting sun, and silhouetting two figures that stood in the doorway--a man and a hound.

Although his exact features were hard to make out, the man was short, stout, and bald; his thick torso and arms were wrapped in chains, some of which dangled against the ground. One of the chains, which he gripped tightly, led to a heavy collar around the hound's neck. The dog was large, but clearly emaciated, and oddly quiet. Its posture was tense, with its hackles raised and its body lowered.

"And what have we found today?" the man asked, his voice deep and scratchy. He dropped the chain restraining the hound with a loud clatter.

We are beginning a new scene in this location. At the start of the scene, the continued pollen fall means another attack against everyone's Strength defense. 14 succeeds on all, so all characters take 1 Will damage.

A new scene also means a chance of being discovered by enemies; a roll of 19 beats the target number of 15, so you are now engaged in combat with two enemies: Chain Keeper and Keeper's Hound. They are in a melee group together. The PCs go first.

On the bright side, the door is open...

Louella steps back, caught by surprise but not hesitating to swing her hammer at the hound, seeing it as the bigger threat. It was faster, had sharper teeth, and while the man may be dangerous, she doubted he could rip her throat out quite like those jaws could. She let the weight of her hammer as she lifted it up off the ground provide the force, aiming at the dog’s lower jaw.
ATTACK THE DOG!

As an endless assault of gentle pollen fell down upon them Scarlett slowly slid down to a seated position with her ass against the back of her heels, her knees up, her feet pressed flat against the ground, and her back leaning loosely against the wall beside the door; this position would've revealed her panties from beneath her miniskirt if the view wasn't blocked by her closed legs. The girl had taken the worst of toxin's effect thus-far due to her exposing clothing and the process that she took to acquire a makeshift torch: by now she was noticeably drowsy. Her bold blue eyes drifted closed as she sat at the border of falling asleep [-1 Will].

It wasn't until Scarlett heard the unfamiliar sounds of scraping metal and scratching claws that her eyes shot back open and dashed over to the door beside her, attempting to look past it and identify what exactly was happening. Soon she rose to her feet but without the force that she had in prior times when fighting off the toxin. She didn't even bother to clean the pollen off herself this time despite taking such great care to remove it in the past.

As the door swung open Scarlett shifted from the wall beside the door to in front of the doorway with a rekindled morale and a soft smile on her dusted countenance, ready to thank whoever it was that opened the door for her and her party; however, the moment she saw the man and his hound, wrapped in chains that fell from them like the robe of a wraith made of metal, her smile turned to a determined smirk and she yanked her thick backsword out of it's sheath and raised her cherry buckler to defend herself [Reposition to melee group w/ Chain Keeper].

When Louella charged past Scarlett to heft her hammer at the dog the girl followed suit, waiting patiently for the woman's blow to complete before striding towards the dog. She approached until she was close enough to the beast that from it's vantage it could peer beneath her skirt, before attempting to slash down at it with her heavy blade, her hair mimicking her movements like a crimson after-image [Rose's Thorns = 18 vs the Keeper's Hound].

Seeing the boot of Kerrish thud into the door was of no great surprise to the rogue; she’d half-expected the door to not give way. She sighed softly and began to reach for her lockpicks when there were other, more metallic sounds, coming from the other side of the door. It wasn’t enough that more of that damned pollen managed to get itself stuck to her, no, and that flush just kept at her even as she tried to focus on what was coming up…

When the door swung open to reveal a man dripping in heavy chains and his pet hound, Cassie froze for a moment. She hadn’t expected to be spotted so quickly – before they’d even entered the Holy City. But here they were. As Louella and Red strode into battle, Cassie pushed her lockpicks back into their sheath and pulled her short sword form its scabbard at her back and tried to position herself to attack the man in chains.

She had no doubts that things would not go well for them in he wasn’t taken down first.

Mechanics
STR -1 / AGIL +3 / WIL -1
First action: try to reposition herself for Backstab attack against Chain Man (Roll + Agility - 5 + 3 - target = 12)
Second action: attack Chain Man (Roll + Agility - 17 + 3, deals 1 STR damage)

Kerrish growled low, her boots holding up well despite the toughness of the door. As another blast of that powdery stuff landed amongst them, she could feel the heat and drowsiness rising within her. Rubbing her thighs together in frustrated and ashamed at the feelings she could not control. As the door swung to, the chain-covered man awakened something within Kerrish. An urge to fight, dominate and defeat him was almost uncontrollable, but her instincts rose to the fore once more.

Staying right in the face of the thick man, she feinted a swing towards his neck, and followed up with a swift punch towards his solar plexus.

As her fist connected, she descended into an infuriated rant, yelling and shouting in her pent-up frustration at the chain-clad man.

(Str +3)(Agil +1)(Will -2)
Action 1 - Sucker punch - Rolled 16+3, 1 Str damage and -1 action next turn.
Action 2 - Distracting Tirade - disadvantage on next attack roll next turn.

The hound nimbly dodged out of the way of Louella's sweeping hammer blow, but its reflexes seemed a bit more sluggish when Scarlett brought her blade down, cutting a long gash across the beast's back. The dog yelped, then snarled as it snapped at Scarlett's ankles. It struggled to gain purchase on her sturdy boots, but was not easily deterred. It circled around her and clamped its jaws down on her calf, pulling with a desperate strength. The famed heroine was swept off her feet, her hands and knees brought down to the hard stone floor. The layers of dirt and pollen did little to cushion her fall.

Meanwhile, Cassie and Kerrish rushed the man wrapped in chains. Cassie maneuvered carefully, trying to slip past his defenses; while she couldn't find an opening for a lethal blow, she did manage to drive her blade between the chains and into the flesh of his upper arm. Kerrish's followed up with a feint; the man leaned back just a bit too far to avoid the supposed attack on his throat, shifting the chains around his chest just enough for her to get a clear shot to his solar plexus.

The man doubled over with a gasp, and for two women so skilled at exploiting weaknesses, it may have seemed like victory was almost at hand. But before either of them could take advantage of his condition, he swung his uninjured arm, expertly coiling a chain around Kerrish's neck, just below the collar that marked her as a prisoner. He pulled, the metal links digging into her throat as he hauled her up towards his face, nearly lifting her off of her feet, close enough to feel his breath on her face.

"So you wanna play?" he growled. Although the combination of dim light in the room and brighter light filtering through the door, it was hard for even Kerrish's eyes to adjust and make out fine details, but she could at least see that the man's teeth were exposed in a cruel grin.

Louella's attack misses; Rosina's attack hits. The Keeper's Hound has taken a total of 1 Strength damage and 1 Purity damage.

Cassie's backstab setup fails, but the attack lands. Since the party did not start in melee range of the enemies, Kerrish needs to take a reposition action before attempting either of her Sucker Punch or Distracting Tirade. Given that, I'm going to go ahead and say that she only used the Sucker Punch this turn, which does hit. The Chain Keeper has taken a total of 2 Strength damage and is limited to one action on his turn.

The Hound's trip attack of 7 missed, but his 18 connected. Scarlett is now on her hands and knees; she may not reposition, and melee attacks have advantage against her. She may take an action to get back on her feet, which does not currently require a roll.

The Chain Keeper's attack of 15 hit, and Kerrish takes 1 Agility damage. Until she undoes the damage, she can not reposition, and she can be Teased as if she were helpless. To Break Free, she can take an action to roll +Strength against a target number of 11 (or use her Sensual Struggles ability).

All characters are now in a melee group, and you can make melee attacks against either opponent without having to reposition.

As a reminder, Cassie and Kerrish still both have inspiration. You are free to use it at any time, or save it for later if you prefer.

The attack was good…but not good enough. Cassie just knew it. The man had obviously taken some damage from both her attack and Kerrish’s, but it clearly wasn’t enough to stop him…or, it seemed, even slow him down. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Red brought down by the hound, but Chain Man was her first goal…especially when he had somehow managed to wrap chains around Kerrish’s neck and was using them to lift the dwarven woman almost off her feet.

“Come on…you can get this, Cassie…” The rogue mumbled to herself as she tried once more to better position herself behind Chain Man, searching for that weak spot that would allow her to land that telling blow…

Mechanics:
STR -1 / AGIL +3 / WIL (+1) -1

Action 2: attack - Roll + Agility -> 16 + 3, deals 2 STR damage if hits

Scarlett's uncharacteristically menacing blade was splattered with the hound's blood as her strike hit it's mark; however, it wasn't long until the hound retaliated. The girl managed to fight off it's first attempt as it tried to sink it's teeth into her thick, red boots but when it came in for a second strike the beast caught her unprotected calf and sent her plummeting towards the ground. Scarlett let out a soft yelp of surprise as she crashed down onto her hands and knees,
"Ah!" Upon landing her position easily revealed the girl's cute, pink panties and luscious thighs--the cloth tight and exposing against her skin--to Louella [Inspiring Beauty], the hound, and anyone else behind her that had the time to gaze upon them whilist her red hair rained down over her.

The girl barely missed a beat despite her tumble, clutching her backsword in one hand and her cherry buckler secured to the wrist of her other. She witnessed the Chain Keeper's attack on Kerrish. Her bold blue eyes widened as she saw the man expertly coordinate his chains in an assault against the Dwarf, as if even the metal was animated by the corruption of this place. Despite her ally's peril Scarlett had her own problems to deal with seeing as she was reduced to being eye level with her canine adversary.

Suddenly Scarlett would kick out at the hound with her injured leg: less of an attack and more of a way to gather momentum as she twisted on her uninjured leg and lounged back at the hound trying to drive her bloodied blade into the beast once more with a powerful thrust [Rose's Thorns = 9 vs the Keeper's Hound]. Regardless of her attack's result she was ultimately still on her hands and knees; her body was now vulnerable to attack and her backside vulnerable to ogling or perhaps more.

Action 1: Special Action: Inspiring Beauty
Action 2: Special Attack: Rose's Thorns

Condition: Hands and Knees

Special Action: Inspiring Beauty -- Give an ally inspiration. You may use this in or out of combat, but in combat you may only use it once per turn. You may only use Inspiring Beauty twice per scene and not while Easily Embarrassed.

Special Attack: Rose's Thorns -- Roll +Will to hit. Deals 1 Strength damage and 1 Purity damage. This attack targets the opponent's Purity Defense and has Advantage. This attack may only be used once per turn and not while Easily Embarrassed.

Louella swings her hammer twice, the first blow coming out quick and hard, crashing down towards the hound and causing her short hair to rise slightly from the momentum, her face bearing an expression of irate concentration as she glared at the hound. unfortunately, her first swing has the side effect of leaving her off-balance, making her second swing clumsy, but no less powerful. She managed to steady herself, growling at the hound fiercely.

Although Scarlett kicked at the hound behind her, it easily avoided her attack and began to lunge at her. Before it could reach her, though, Louella caught it in the ribs with a mighty blow. The beast yelped again in pain as it staggered to the side, but did not seem especially deterred--it evaded Louella's follow up attack and leaped at its fallen prey. Its front paws crashed down on Scarlett's bare shoulders, shoving her down so roughly her limbs ached from the weight of it. The hound was lean, malnourished, but perhaps it was its hunger that drove it to such desperate strength. Then again, perhaps there was more than one hunger driving the beast; Scarlett could feel its hardening shaft grinding roughly against her backside as a thin stream of drool drizzled down her back.

The chain wielder watched his pet's vicious attacks with cruel satisfaction, not bothering to hide a lusty groan. His distraction was more than enough for Cassie and Kerrish to land powerful blows, but still he did not fall. Kerrish resumed the tirade that had previously been interrupted by the chain around her neck, and the man narrowed his eyes to glare at her.

"Shut up," he snarled, his eyes and chains glowing red. Kerrish could feel his magic bearing down on her mind, demanding her compliance, her submission. Her words caught momentarily in her throat, and her knees buckled for just a moment, but her fury bolstered her will, and her mind did not falter under the mental assault.

Louella's first attack hits, the second misses. Scarlett's Rose's Thorns misses. The Keeper's Hound has taken a total of 2 Strength damage, 1 Agility damage, and 1 Purity damage.

Cassie's backstab setup hits and her backstab lands. Kerrish's Sucker punch lands. The Chain Keeper has taken a total of 5 Strength damage, is limited to one action on his turn, and has disadvantage on his first attack.

The Hound's pounce attack of 11 hits. Scarlett takes 1 Strength damage and 1 Agility damage. Standing up from her fallen position now requires a +Strength roll; her target number is 9. Until she stands up or recovers the Agility damage, the Hound may Tease Scarlett as if she were helpless. To Break Free, she can take an action to roll +Strength against a target number of 9; this will undo 1 point of Agility damage, but not the Strength damage.

At the start of his turn, the Keeper takes 1 Purity damage from his sadistic tendencies.

The Hound's tease action of 8 fails.

The Keeper's attack of 3 fails.

Louella grabs the hound by the back of the neck, snarling in a manner not too different from the beast, then attempts to lift it off of her, using her left hand and the curved hook on the back of her hammer, not satisfied with her grip with just a single hand.

First Action: Grappling the wolf (to lift it off of Scarlett). Roll+Strength= 9
Second action: Another grapple. Nine, again.

She couldn’t get a firm grip, but hopefully it was enough.

Scarlett slid a few inches across the dirty floor, toxic dust defiling the milky white and bold reds of her calves and boots respectively; while she recovered from her missed blow she was completely open to the hound as it charged at her. Thankfully as the bloodthirsty hound began to lounge for the girl Louella bat it out of mid stride with her greathammer and sent it staggering backwards in pain. Yet as the girl tried to climb back up to her feet a strong impact forced her down onto her hands and knees once again and forced a surprised yelp of pain to escape her sweet, red lips,
"Ah!" Scarlett nearly fell face first into the ground as the startlingly strong hound crash-landed directly on her shoulders and forced her arms to bend downwards and her ass to lift revealing her cute, pink panties even more obviously than before. At this point even in the shadowed orange light there was a clear impression of her cameltoe in the fabric of her panties.

The girl grit her teeth but suddenly a soft pink blush grew on her dusted countenance and her bold blue eyes widened in shock as she felt the growing canine member pressing against her ass and dampening her skirt with pre. The lascivious scene forced upon Scarlett would've absolutely been the most erotic thing a commonplace person might've see in their entire life--especially since it was, in fact, the beautiful, famed Red being pinned down--if it weren't happening in the middle of combat and obviously against her will: even still the sight of the girl being mounted and made tantalizingly vulnerable must have been arousing regardless of her disposition. None were in a better place to witness Scarlett's form than Louella as she charged forward to aid the girl [Inspiring Beauty].

Scarlett could feel the warmth growing inside her and on her cheeks as she heard the Chain Keeper's lustful groan and every second that she felt the hound's rod against her only made it worse. The girl had fought the corruption for the last five years of her life so she had been in similar situations before and she knew that once her embarrassment was burned on her face she would freeze up. So with the knowledge that this might be her last few moments of conviction she struck at the hound: pressing her ass unintentionally back against his cock in the same movement as she lifted her right hand off the ground and attempted to thrust her backsword up into the beast [Rose's Thorns = 11 vs the Keeper's Hound].

Several things occurred to the young rogue at approximately the same time; they were registered as knowledge, but not so much as things she could immediately do something about, given her current proximity to a man who was wrapped in now-glowing chains and apparently intent on choking the life out of Kerrish. She noticed that Red had been brought down and was on her hands and knees; the hound was looming over Red, almost as if it was trying to mount the warrior; she knew her attack on the Chain Man had been a good one, but he still was not looking like falling; his chains were glowing, although she didn’t feel any heat from them; and that lusty groan he’d made as the hound seemed to mount Red was resonating in her, amid a mixture of revulsion and arousal.

“Dammit…!” she hissed to herself as she tried once more to find a good chink in the man’s wrappings to land another telling blow. She’d never directly encountered the Corruption before now, so the effects were all new to her; clearly the Corruption seemed to drive its victims to a more-base level of action and thought.

She moved around the man slightly, enough that he was directly between herself and Kerrish, or so she hoped; at the same time, she tried to position herself to keep any eye on Red and the hound, and she hoped that Louella would be able to get the dog off Red before anything untoward could occur.

Action 1 - setup for Backstab: Roll + Agility = 15 + 3 vs Target 12 = success
Action 2 - Backstab attack (with Advantage) = 11 + 3, deals 2 STR damage if successful

Pressed to the ground as she was, Scarlett couldn't lift her sword-arm high enough to reach her assailant, as the hound pressed itself down on her, grinding her knees and elbows into the dirt and its cock against her backside. Even Louella's furious strength was not enough to dislodge the beast, although by hauling against it with all her might, she was at least able to stop it from pinning Scarlett any more securely than it already had.

Grabbing the glowing chain, Kerrish yanked the man off balance and planted a heavy blow into his gut. That created more than enough opening for Cassie to strike true, sinking her blade deep into his flesh. Whatever strength had kept him fighting through his injuries up to this point seemed to evaporate, and the man sank to his knees, clutching the bloody wound in his side. "Ggghh..."

The hound's ears twitched at the man's voice, and for the first time since it had set its sights on Scarlett, it tore its eyes away to glance at its fallen master. Its ears flattened against its head and it whimpered, although it made no move to dismount its luscious prey.

Louella's attacks and Scarlett's Rose's Thorns all miss. The Keeper's Hound has taken a total of 2 Strength damage, 1 Agility damage, and 1 Purity damage.

Cassie's Backstab and Kerrish's Low Blow are both successful. The Chain Keeper has taken a total of 8 Strength damage and 1 Purity damage, and is helpless. He's not dead yet; you can do what you like with him. Additionally, even though the keeper has fallen, his chains are still binding Kerrish and she has not undone the Agility damage. She still has the option to Break Free, either by rolling +Strength against a target number of 11, or automatically succeeding with her Sensual Struggles talent. Alternately, she can wait until combat is over and remove the chains at her leisure.

The hound makes two pounce attacks against Scarlett, rolling a 0 and 2; both miss. She takes no further damage but her various debuffs/action restrictions still apply.

With no remaining allies, one of the hound's weaknesses is triggered. Starting this turn, all rolls against the Keeper's Hound have advantage, except for Kerrish's Low Blow. (Since the hound is non-humanoid, the advantage and disadvantage cancel out, and it would be a single roll instead.)

Also as a reminder, you are all still in melee range of the hound; Cassie and Kerrish don't have to reposition before attacking.

When Scarlett realized that the weight of the hound prevented her from being able to lift her arm up enough to strike she swiftly spun her backsword around in her right hand until she was holding it in a reverse grip. Her eyes glanced to the other half of the battle for just a moment as she witnessed the Chain Keeper fall to his knees from the combined blows of Cassie and Kerrish, yet his glowing chains still held purchase on the Dwarf. However the bulk of the girl's attention remained on the hound currently mounting her to the dirty floor between all her allies, and she stabbed back at it with a flurry of blows and a confident scream [Valiant Cleave = 13 vs the Keeper's Hound][Valiant Cleave = 9 vs the Keeper's Hound],
"Ah!!!"

Action 1: Basic Attack: Valiant Cleave

Louella set her hammer down, not wanting to risk a miss, and proceeds to start punching the dog on the head and in the ribs, with the intent of deterring it. Her two leather gauntleted fists came hard and fast, one going for the side and the other swung down like a hammer on its head.

First action: Attack.
Roll: 20!+2=22
Second action: Attack
Roll: 16+2=18

The fight finally seemed to have left Chain Man – Cassie watched with some satisfaction as he dropped to his knees as his blood seeped from the wounds he’d sustained. He still held onto the chain – the chains that were still glowing, the chains that were still firmly wrapped around Kerrish – but there no longer seemed to be the strength that he’d first had in his hands.

The hound was still a possible danger, though – it was still in a mounted and compromising position over a semi-prone Red, and Louella had dropped her hammer in favour of fists in effort to remove the hound. With Chain Man no longer an immediate threat, Cassie turned her attention to the hound; she took a small step towards the on-going melee, lined up the hound, and snapped her blade in two sharp arcs at the dog, hoping to connect enough to convince it to focus its attention elsewhere…

STR -1 / AGIL +3 / WIL (+1) -1
Action 1: Basic Attack (with advantage) - Roll + Agility => 12 + 3 -> 1 STR damage if hits
Action 2: Basic Attack (with advantage) - Roll + Agility => 13 + 3 -> 1 STR damage if hits

With the man subdued, all four women turned their attention to the beast assaulting Scarlett. In a matter of moments, the assault of fists and blades robbed the hound of its desperate strength, and they were able to haul it off of the heroine, letting it drop to the ground with a pitiful whimper.

The chain wielder coughed as Kerrish unwound his restraints from her throat, glaring at the dwarf. "Shoulda given up," he said, his voice still cruel and mocking even as his words began to slur. "Fighting jus' means... you'll hurt more, 'fore you fall. Y'fates were sealed with the door." He jerked his head towards the double doors in the back of the room, then chuckled. "They're gonnna," he paused, sputtered, then pressed on, "gonna turn every one of you into a drooling whore. Jus' wish I could live to see it..."

Scarlett's attack of 13 hits, but her 9 misses. Louella and Cassie's attacks all hit. Because she rolled a natural 20, Louella gains inspiration if she did not already have it (I think she did, though). The Keeper's Hound has taken 7 Strength damage, 3 Agility damage, and 1 Purity damage, and is helpless. All enemies are defeated and combat is over. As a reminder, neither enemy is dead; their fates are now in your hands.

Scarlett and Kerrish recover the Agility damage dealt to them and are back to full. (Scarlett does not recover the Strength damage she took.)

The door remains open; you may advance at your leisure.

Louella picks her hammer up and drags the dog off of Scarlett before walking over to Chains, squatting down to face him before saying “explain. What are we going to find in there?” Her scowl made it clear she didn’t have the patience for vague riddles or stubborn silence, and she looked fully willing to slug him in the nose if she didn’t get an answer soon.

The moment Louella tossed the hound off her backside Scarlett surged up to her feet with a renewed vigor and a confident grin. Her bold blue eyes stared intently into the now unimpeded orange light that flooded over them, clearly satisfied that the door was now open, and that her company had won their first battle together (even if it almost got awkward for her towards the end). The girl's matching, skimpy, red clothing was splattered with crimson blood from being under the hound when the whole parties attacks switched to it; however, the gore was relatively unnoticeable under the various red hues her outfit already contained. As if to support the conclusion that part of the reason Scarlett wore red clothing was to hide blood the girl unceremoniously cleaned both dirty sides of her backsword against her skirt, right below the sheath, before putting the blade in it's container at her hip.

Scarlett glanced back at Louella before letting out a calm,
"There is no point interrogating him, the corruption has already taken his mind. He won't tell you anything that you want to hear... Just put him out of his misery." Despite her words making it seem as if anything corrupted was better off dead the girl crouched beside the injured hound lying on the floor and looked it over to see if it had sustained lethal injuries or if it could be saved.

Agility: +1/+1

"What you'll find... is truth." The man's sneer gave way to a blissful smile. "Though you... nng... though you trespass... in God's domain... we will guide you... to your true selves. You could embrace it... but I can tell, yer gonna fight. Until, one by one, you break." He laughed, coughing, and the cruelty returned to his eyes. "It'll be... a hell of a show..."

Ignoring his rambling, Scarlett examined the whimpering dog. Its wounds were severe, but not necessarily fatal. If they could staunch the bleeding from Cassie's finishing blow, and set its broken jaw after Louella's hammer blow, it might survive. Although, none of the heroines had much expertise in this sort of animal husbandry.

“Hm.” Louella grunted at the man’s reply, before punching him in the face. Twice. “That wasn’t informative at all.” She then got up to look at the dog. “Hm. Well nothing looks broken too bad. I’ll hold him and you can try and dress his wounds? Shouldn’t be too different from a human.....probably.”
