Oydis followed him, thankful he covered her unlike his father. She moved. Watching the looks she got, seeing the house, going inside to see the bed..and looked at Lugos. No, the man was not joking about her bedding him.

Drifa grunted when he pushed her aside. Yes. That was what he wanted. He wanted her to live to know how his wife really felt. Had she broken his heart by making him question Oydis? Drifa smiled and nodded. "Of course."

A month later.
A month had seemed like a terribly long time. Oydis had been alone inside the walls. Within the first week of being there after taking the vial..she had undergone insane amounts of pain as he stomach turned, until she had bleed once more. Tear had tormented her at night for the month, and sleep had forsaken her for the most part.
Still, she had found it easy to seduce both men. Though, she had to fact orgasm and use lube to get them inside. At least..when she had found them fighting for power, she thought it would be fine. Lugos against Jarl Jom. At first it was nothing more than quarrels, and she had been happy..until Lugos had challenged the father to a duel.
The fight had been long, drawn out, until one had fallen. Victorious, Lugos thought himself..until a man had emerged from the crowd and pulled out a blade, slicing his throat open. Oydis had watched in horror. No. This was not what she had wanted. She had thought..had one or the other won, she could get word to Harald that she was fine..but now? No.. The man had pointe dher out, blaming her for all of this, though he was blessed by the Gods his family was now in power. Still, they had seized her, telling her it would be the end.
"You know of our defenses...and of Jarl Harald's.." The man had spat, an ugly thing with scars that littered his whole body. "You will tell us everything!" Oydis grimace, only to find herself being taken by soldiers away. She had thought...this would be the end of her torment.
The seer's words rang into her head. Drip. Drip. Oydis could barely think, or move after a week or two of torture. Still, she had not budged. Drip. Drip. "I see..that blood will bath your body..and you will walk the line of life and death." Oydis replayed the words over and over in her head. Yes..the seer had warned her not to go, if she feared for her life. As well as the dreams had shown her this..this moment....
Oydis was bound, arms spread out on both directions and tied in a manner she could not move them. She was naked, bruised, beaten, her stomach had been punched many times to ensure that she did not carry either Jarl Jom's child or Lugos, and wounds littered her arms, back and legs. She was on her knees, head forward, blood dripping off her nose to the ground. In between life and death she remained, though they made sure to keep her there. Now..now she was alone as they often left her. Bloody, breathing shakingly, a bucket of water above her head dripping down to aid in her torment.
"Please...just kill me Odin." Oydis whispered the words. She had not felt her arms in the past two weeks. She only ate and drank what they gave her, and only if she spoke. They commanded her to release Jarl Harald's secrete, but she had refused. Still. They needed her alive, for if she knew something she would be helpful. Her hair was on the ground in front of her, and she could barely tell where she was anymore. A shack of some sort on the edge of town, guards outside the door. "Let me enter Valhalla.." Oydis whispered the words, on the brink of death.
