Voidwar (Causeway / Theris)

Adrian nodded his head at the woman, his breathing still labored from the nightmare, plus other things. After a few moments he was able to calm himself down. "It's nothing, just a bad dreams" he said to her, though not convinsed of it himself. Her soft hand around his cock kept him from dwelling on it however, and he let out a satisfied sigh as she contined to handel tool.

Giselle smiled at him. "Well, I hope I can clear your mind of such things," she said, and resumed her sucking, continuing up until she felt him tensing beneath her, thrusting his hips upwards as she began to slurp his seed out of him, drinking him down with gusto. Once she was finished, she wiped her lips off. "Feel better now?" she asked.

Adrian grinned back at the woman when she started suckling on him again, his head falling back as the sensation engulfed him. Her warm lips on his cock, and her soft tongue rolling over the organ was quickly taking him to the brink. He started to thrust up, fucking her mouth as Giselle took him over the edge, his breathing quickening as he released, coating her throat with his warm cum. He lay there for a moment, letting the euphoria pass "Indeed, Much better" he answered her. Standing, the Half Elf quickly started to gather his gear and began to dress. "Depending on how my business goes today, I might be needing a room for the next day or so" he said as he dressed. "Do you think you could hold one for me?" he asked, looking at the girl and grinning.

Giselle continued to lay there, smiling up at him as he dressed. "I think I can manage such a thing," she said, before climbing off the bed. "I wish you well, in whatever business you have today." Her tone then turns slightly more worried. "Be careful out there, Queensport is not a safe city."

As he headed for the temple, once more he got the feeling he was being watched.

Adrian nodded his head at Giselle's words, "I will" he said, before stepping in and giving the girl a kiss. His actions surprised him a little, much like the girls concern. After all, he was little more then a client. Yet his dreams were another thing to consider, and depending on how he looked at it, if she wasn't involved already, she would be. He'd need to stick close to her during his stay in Queensport, just in case.

Leaving the Busty Mermaid the half elf made his way to the meeting location. As he made his way over his awareness picking up on something or someone watching him. He discreetly checked his surroundings, looking to see if he could spot whomever it was.

Perception 14

Adrian looked around, but could not find the source of the discreet feeling. Even so, his elven senses knew for certain that there was someone regularly trailing him.

The city was... rather desolate at this time of day, the sun only just starting its ascent into the sky. A handful of hobgoblins milled about, but turned their heads as Adrian walked by, noting the two longswords strapped to his back. By the time he arrived at the temple district, there was hardly anyone about.

Entering the temple of Luminai, he saw Castiana there, waiting for him. Her platinum-blonde hair was put up in a crown braid wrapped around her head, and her armor looked freshly polished. As she noticed him, the corner of her mouth pulled up slightly, a hint of a smile. "Good morning, Adrian. Pleasantly punctual, I might add. Was your night restful?"

Adrian couldn't help but grin at the woman's words "Good Morning Castiana, Indeed it was" he replied. He walked over to one of the temple walls and leaned against it "so, where are we going for your mission?" He asked. "The more I know, the better I can prepare" he said.

Castiana looked out a stained glass window at the city. "I've been attending to the downtrodden of this city. Not as forthrightly as I would wish, but there is more injustice here than one paladin can correct, I am aware. Thus I must work my good deeds as a means to an end, in addition to an ends themselves." She glanced at him. "Somehow, I feel as though that lessens them, despite the greater good I seek to attain. But regardless, I have heard from someone that seems willing to aid us. A self-proclaimed psychic named Anyara."

Adrian gave no outward signs as Castiana talked, though internally his heart had sped up some. He tried not to get his hopes up, he knew that it wouldn't be Teleyna in disguise, but still. he nodded his head at her words "One must keep an objective in sight, especially in a place like this, every action must have maximum impact, to have any lasting effect" he said. he gestured with his head, "shall we go?" he asked.

"Indeed," Castiana said. As they walked, she added, "Have you by any chance gotten the impression that you were being followed? I've noticed recently that my movements seem to have drawn... someone's attention, and I do not know if they have extended their interest to you yet." She looked with genuine concern at him.

Adrian nodded his head "Yes... though I haven't seen whomever it is" he said. He walked along side her, his eyes scanning the nearby rooftops. "I've got a few tricks up my sleeves if they decide to make a move against us". he said, causing a little spark to crackle between his fingers.

"Indeed," Castiana said. "I've never feared simple thugs, but it is always nice to have a second set of eyes to watch my back." After a few moments, she added slyly, "and I don't mean like that..."

The city had picked up significantly since Adrian had arrived in the temple; in that short of time, all sorts of folk had emerged and were now busy going about their morning business; a huddled mass of dirty, malnourished humanoids struggling to stay alive in the shadows of crumbling monuments to long-lost glory. The platinum-blonde paladin could only shake her head sadly as she went about her business.

Adrian chuckled a bit at the comment "Agreed, two heads are better then one" he said.

As the pair made their way through the streets of queensport when the pair heard something on the wind. A high pitched cry came from a nearby ally, sounding like a small child "HELP!". The ally was a tight fit, and would make anything other then a single file line difficult to say the least.

Adrian turned his head, his hand rising to his mithril sword, "Sounds like somethings going on" he said.

Castiana's eyes narrowed, and she turned her head to the source of the scream. "Indeed," she said, drawing her gilded sword. "I intend to investigate, and intervene if necessary." She turned her head to look at Adrian. "Will you assist me in this manner?"

"Naturally" Adrian answered, drawing his sword, his other hand started to crackle a little as he drew power, ready to cast should the need arise. "Lady's first" he said with a grin.

Castiana drew her shield, affixing it to her left arm, and entered the alley. The lady-paladin, clad as she was in shining armor covered with holy texts and the symbols of her order, did not conceal either her purpose nor her intent. As she entered, her eyes scanned the scene, to take in precisely what is going on in this alley, and whose, if any's, ass she needed to kick.

Adrian followed the Sister Paladin as she entered the ally, sticking close behind her as the advanced. Rounding the corner the pair came across a small area, likely built to provide access to the sewers judging from the manhole cover in the middle. On the other side stood two cloaked figures, and a small boy. The thugs were holding the boy up by his hair, one pressing his knife into the boys throat and holding out his hands as though expecting something. They turn their heads at the sound of creaking steel from Castiana's armor. "Well well, looks like we've got company" the one on the left said, stabbing his knife into the boys shirt collar, leaving him to dangle from the ally wall. "Don't go anywhere now" he says before turning He turned to face the woman and her companion, and new knife appearing in his hand as he did so, his compatriot turning with him figuring the blade. "I suggest you move on friends, nothing to see here he says.

Castiana's eyes narrow, and tilting her head at the pair bringing her sword to bare "Who do you think you are speaking to. Do you have any idea who I am" she said, her jade eyes piercing them. Both men flinch at her words, and take a few steps back only to bump into the ally wall. "Look... Miss, we don't need any trouble, just let us finish our little... transaction and we'll be on our way" the spokesmen said, clearly rattled. his partner stepping to the side so that he his not standing right next to his friend. "Transaction?" The Paladin said, taking a step forward and, then another "I think not. I have little doubt that there is anything lawful occurring here. Depart this place, at once, or face my wrath".
The man lets out a sigh, as though he expected as much, and snapped his fingers "Done" he said. Before grabbing the boy and tearing him off the wall and bolting down the other end of the ally. His partner meanwhile reacted to his friends snap, throwing a bag of caltrops to cover a very thin line in-front of the two would be heroes before following the other thug. Castiana reacts far faster then either man could have anticipated rushing after them with shield raised. "Then pay in blood " she calls out even as one of the caltrops pierces the bottom of her foot, causing the paladin to limp as she ran after the pair. the warrior woman slammed into the first one, shoving him out of the way as she tore after the one with the kid, the thugs knife of little effect against her armou. "Adrian! Stop him" she calls out, unable to fully get past the first thug.

Adrian is not slow on the uptake either, and gathering his power, and unleashes a ray of enfeeblement on the thug holding the boy. Causing the man to stumble as his arms begin to shake from the sudden weakness, before racing after him, slipping between both the paladin and the other thug. His blade coming up and piercing the kidnappers back as the man continues to run, pulling himself off the Half elf's blade. When the other thug tries to run however, Castiana rams her sword into his chest, pinning him to the wall and causing the man to quickly loose consciousness as he bleeds out. Pulling her blade from the mans chest, the sword sister pursues the remaining thief, grabbing his arm to arrest his movement.

Adrian raises his hand for a second time, striking the thug with a ray of frost, causing him to drop the boy and stagger. Struggling with Castiana the man is unable to free himself, and looses consciousness, falling onto the boy before he has a chance to crawl away. The paladin reacts quickly, pulling the man off the boy and quickly examining their injuries. She finds that the thug is bleeding out from a sever injury on his back, while the boy is unharmed. In fact, while inspecting the child, the sword sister realizes that the boy is actually a halfling.

The man was bleeding out, from a severe injury on his back, while the boy seems unharmed, and while examining him, Castiana realized that he was a halfling. She worked to stabilize both men; she was not yet certain that their deaths were necessarily beneficial, either to herself or to others, even if they were justified by attacking a paladin. As she bandaged them, she turned to the halfling. "What is your name," she said, "and why did these men accost you?"

"Call me Falien, and these ruffian's were looking for an easy mark" the halfling said, kicking the man's shin while Castiana worked to stop the bleeding. She worked on both men, and was able to stabilize the one that had tried to kidnap the halfling. The other one that she had stabbed was another story, he continues to bleed out as she applies pressure on his injuries.

Castiana nodded as the halfling spoke, taking in his words. Meanwhile, she concentrated on the second man; his wounds were grievous, most likely deadly, in fact. She considered her options carefully, and at last decided that mercy should prevail, and gently removing a gauntlet, placed her bare hand upon the wound, which began to glow with a soft light. "Adrian, watch this man," she said.

Adrian nodded his head, moving next to the man and placing his sword against the mans chest. He held it there and kept his eyes on the injured man. The Halfling seemed to be fidgeting as the pair watched the Thug. "Anyway, thank you for rescuing me, but I must really be going" he said, slowly edging away. The Thug's flesh stitches together, his eyes rolling open as he lets out a groan of shear pleasure. Attempting to sit up the man lets out a surprised cry of pain as he finds Adrian's sword against his chest. "what the fuck!" he cried out and then froze, seeing Adrian's cold stare.

"Fare thee well, Falion. If you ever find yourself in need of assistance, seek out the Shrine of Luminai," she called out to him as he left, then turned back to the man she was healing. He let out a moan of pleasure as she infused him with the nurturing energy of her goddess; she did not blame him, receiving this touch was like suckling from the nipple of the goddess herself. As he awoke, though, she pressed down harder on his chest, pinning him, and drew her dagger from her right hip. "I asked you once before," she said, "but received no answer. Do you know who I am?" She held the blade of her dagger against his throat.

The Little halfling gave his rescuers a quick bow, before rounding the corner and vanishing from their sight. Meanwhile the thief held himself very still as the paladin held a knife to his throat, his Adams apple quivering as he attempted not the swallow with such a sharp object near it. "You are the Paladin that's been messing with Rotmonger" he replied, his eye glancing over to where the Halfling had gone, before quickly returning to Castiana

Adrian lifted his head to keep an eye on their surroundings, resting the tip of his sword on the thugs chest.

"That is somewhat accurate," Castiana said, keeping her blade at his throat. "The operative word in there, being that I am a paladin. This being the case, I hope you realize the gravity of your mistake. Now, if you are willing to be civilized, then I am prepared to put these blades away and discuss things in a more eloquent fashion."

The man, for all his fear couldn't help but laugh before spitting on the paladins knife, "your in the wrong city for civilized behavior" he said. Before getting a pensive look "But I'm not going anywhere... So how about we cut a deal" he said, smiling at the woman holding him down, yellow teeth prominently on display.
