Love is a Bare-Knuckle Brawl ((PoisonousIvee/Mr.Aznable))

He stalks to the hut and lays her down in the bed. "I did not want this." He said. "Feel better. I would hate to have killed you." He said before he left.

Every time she showed back up, he sent her back bruised and beaten. The sheep ended up leaving. She couldn't atand to see the hunter bruised and tattered, nor the stress of possibly seeing Adai killed. After she left, Adai refused to even come out.

Lunette came back, standing at the mouth of the cave, "You have nothing now, Adai. There's no point..."

She moved in slowly and sat in front of him, "Listen...you know as well as I do how stubborn humans can be...they will not stop until they get what they want...and since you have proven to be too stubborn to die, why don't you join my Guild instead...?"

"Join you? And what reason would I have to do that? I did not have much but now I have less. You sided with the village but now you wish for me to join you?" He asked.

"I side with no one. As I have told you many times, I was contracted. That means they paid me to come out here and kill you. But since I have been unsuccessful in doing so, I must return their payment and leave. And since I cannot best you either, you would make a very worthy companion and battle brother...only if you wish." She said, "When I leave, it won't be long until another comes to carry out the job I have failed...you will tire...and you will die..."

He made a noise of protest before giving in. "I might as well.. I have already lost all I had. Might as well give up on my land.."

"You will gain new land, new kin who will protect you as you protect them. You are powerful for being part wolf, I would hate to see it wasted.." She said.

"I brought little with me, so no. Just to return their coin, then we can leave." She answered, standing up.

She made a noise and nodded before heading out and back to the village. She grabbed her gear amd her horse and moved to the elder, dropping the sack of coin into his hand, "The beast is still your problem. Good luck." She said and mounted up before heading into the woods.

He was standing outside of the cave, now blocked off with massive stones. "Let us get on with it then.." he said.

"I know it is hard, Adai...but it is best..." She said. She looked when she heard footfalls and saw the sheep stopping a few feet away. "You...You're leaving...?" She asked softly.

"I didn't want to see you die...!" She protested before rushing over and throwing her arms around him. Lunette gave them their moment looking away respectfully. The sheep wept softly, "I love you so much, Adai...please be safe..."
