Lunette huffed and stepped out slowly, her scale plate armor glittering in the sunlight. She looked annoyed, mainly because she had been caught, but otherwise did nothing.
 
"They contracted my Guild to remove a monster killing their people and taking their stock. They did not go into detail." She answered.
 
"They did not say that I was here before them? That they killed the rest of my kin?" He said.
 
"I did not ask who came first or who killed what, I came to complete the job and go home." She said, the tip of her tail flicking.
 
Then take care of the invaders and leave me with my land." He said. "I do not wish to harm you, nor do I wish for anymore of my blood to be shed on this land."
 
She slid into a semi crouched stance, eyes glowing bright blue, "Only a fool would stubnornly remain in territory he cannot maintain."
 
"I have maintained this land far better than those pests you blindly serve." He growled, his eyes glowing a harsh gold.
 
She scowled and rushed forward, "I serve no one but myself!" She proclaimed, unsheathing her sword at lightning speed and swinging it down on him.
 
He grabs the blade and uses it as leverage to slam her against the rock. "You are ignorant as well!" He roared. The blade cut deep, but he faired worse.
 
She grunted and brought up her legs, smashing the heels of her boots into his chest as hard as she could, pushing him back and giving her room to work. "I am not ignorant! I work for myself and aid those who need me, as do my brothers and sisters in arms. We weed out cowardly beasts like you who fear change. If you are strong, you will claim new territory, as the humans have and will continue to do."
 
"They murdered my family!!" He roared as he grabbed her head easily and slammed it into the rocks over and over.
 
Her helmet started to dent, she was so caught off guard that she couldn't fight back. "Adai, stop!" The sheep pleaded, "Stop, you'll kill her!"
 
Adai snarled loudly and smashed her into the rocks before tossing her back into the forest. "Do not return." He said. "I eill show no mercy."
 
Lunette tumbled and laid still on the forest floor, falling in and out of consciousness. Her horn was chipped where he pummeled her, an impressive feat considering how strong a dragon's horn was.
 
She didnt move for hours and the sheep just sat and watched her, "I-I think you killed her..." She said softly
 
He looks and sighs. He goes to check her. "No, she's alive.. I.. I'll bring her to the village.. stay in the cave." He said. He moved and grabbed her as he headed toward the village.
 
Lunette groaned, eyes fighting to open, "Come...come to finish...the job...halfling...?" She slurred
