Contracting a Fenrir (Kinky Bunny and Archet)

Maven slept soundly on;y stirring a little in her sleep as she nuzzled into her companion though never enough to wake herself up. The soft light of the early morning caused her to wake up blinking a few times to get her eyes working. She let out a small snort as she looked down seeing Rana was still cuddling up to her. An odd set and one not many would believe given her size and rather fearsome appearance at the moment. She felt a bit gross as she had sweated a decent amount in the night making a note to ditch the blankets tonight as Rana provided enough heat. She laid there for a moment softly rubbing her arms before she gently lifted her arms out of the way.

She made her way over to her desk rearranging the books piling them up to the side to make room for the next one she had to get through. she worked for a bit before she walked around gathering a small kettle and filled it with water. A simple heat spell was all she needed to get it up to temp before pouting some into a cup for herself and tossing in bag of tea her mother grew. She continued working her energy and emotions focused as she continued reading on more advanced ward spells for her self defense class. She wanted to get this out of the way now so she could enjoy the rest of her break with Rana and begin to look for answers for her.

Rana hardly stirred as Maven rubbed then moved her arms, simply grasping around slightly before grabbing one of the pillows and hugging that instead. Every once in a while her snoring was interrupted by some mumbling, but otherwise she slept like a rock. Aside from a few noisy bursts from Rana's sleeping form, Maven would be able to read peacefully. The spells were familiar, though there were multiple types. From passive wards that give increased defense for a longer time to wards that work like a shield, able to appear at command and block in a direction. There were some that worked against all elements equally, while some were particularly powerful against other elements, able to almost effortlessly allow even the weakest person to take no damage or recoil from it. There was also a familiar ward meant to keep things from leaving an area- which she'd retroactively recognize as the yellow ward that they had run into after completely breaking the manacles in the cave. It was a very powerful, very difficult spell to cast on a spot in an instant, but much less difficult to set up if given enough time. It was typically used to temporarily hold or, in the case of stronger versions, to permanently Seal a creature into the 'cage' it created. It could target everything 'in' the cage all the way to just a single creature. The spell itself took up at least a page, a difficulty that was up there with a Contract- Which while easy for creatures to initiate, between Humans was a much, much harder ordeal.

Her dreams were lucid, but dizzy- like a frustrating maelstrom of sensations, emotions, and images that she found familiar but couldn't figure out. Some made her a bit embarrassed, others angry, others happy, but she couldn't figure out why. At the same time, she looked in the mirror and saw a familiar sillouette- She knew it was herself instinctually, but something was...Off. She couldn't see it specifically, but the only thing she could notice was her hair was shorter in the mirror. She couldn't even see her own body when she looks down. Suddenly, something grabs her from behind, her arms and legs unable to move. She turns around to see another silhouette, instinctually different from the last and only feels a jab in her stomach and the strange, familiar sensation of magic. Her mind panics, her heart rate increasing. Outside of her dream, Rana starts to squirm in the bed, starting to sweat. She tries to speak, but nothing comes out as she found her mouth was gagged before there was a single 'clank' as the strange familiar manacles were put on her wrists and things start to go fuzzy.

It was as her mind goes fuzzy and she starts panicing more that she wakes up, bolting up as she looks around frenzied and agitated, looking around and looking a bit pale. She sighs a bit as she calms down and shakes her head, running her large hand through her hair as she goes from Panicked to just a little bit on the shaken side.

Maven slowly sipped on her tea as she continued on with her studies absorbing the information about the wards fairly quickly. But that was always her skill was being able to understand the theory behind it. The last page caused a small flare up of anger as she looked back at her familiar who was still sleeping soundly her anger lessening as she watched her sleep using the pillow as something to cuddle. She returned back to her studies going over a few of the more intricate wards even practicing a few though she would need Rana to truly help her practice them. Quietly she closed up her books and shifted them off to the side happy with her progress for now.

Maven nearly drop her cup as her companion shifted rather drastically from a peaceful slumber to a nightmare. She set the cup down and crawled back onto the bed wrapping her smaller body around her. "You're safe that's all over and behind you." Maven said softly trying to calm her shaken friend. She laid there with her gently caressing her arms and nuzzling into her as to serve as a distraction from what ever was running through her head. "Guess even fenrirs have nightmares too?"

Rana just stared for a moment at nothing before she finally acknowledged Maven, "Y-yeah... I mean, I'm sure dragons do as well..." she mumbles as color begins to return. Maven could sense the panic that was racing through her mind calmed down drastically and once Rana realized the connection after a moment she turns to Maven, prying the smaller girl off to press her forehead against hers, sharing the dream. The strange, familiar sillouette of herself with what seemed like shorter hair, the turning towards another silhouette, the locking on manacles around her arms and legs and then the jolt of magic shooting into her. As she shares it, Maven would share the sensations that happened too. Rana pulls back afterwards and says, "S-sorry about that...But...Dreams are Ephemeral and if I put it into your head it'll stay a lot less so...It might be a hint and I can start sifting through that initial influx of familiarity..." she says, smiling bashfully.
