Contracting a Fenrir (Kinky Bunny and Archet)

Rana's fur bristles slightly as the teacher just says, "It's more her size than behavior...But, knowing you, I'm assuming it was the Fenris' doing for the large blizzard suddenly on our doorstep." he waves his hand a bit dismissively. "I trust you to keep it in line, but we'll have to talk later about this creature." he says, standing back and motioning for the guards to stand to the side. "Another form?" he asks as she mentions it, raising an eyebrow. Rana just nods a bit at Maven. "Eheh. I may have made a few changes. At the very least, they'll be less on guard about me." she says as she stands up and howls, wind and ice flowing around the large wolf form before condensing slowly.

Instead of the normal form she had seen and talked with the last 3 days, the new form looked a lot younger. Instead of black hair with blue tips, the hair was all a soft, navy blue. Her hair was still long and unkempt, but she was wearing something familiar. The uniform they had found in the coffer now fit on her. At the same time, Maven would notice she was about the same height, possibly an inch or two shorter than Maven, and a lot less buxom. Her chest was reduced to about C cups, and would pass off as a normal human if it wasn't for the wolf ears, wolf tail, and the face her hands and legs were covered in fur and ended in paws. The uniform fit perfectly fine, though she seemed slightly uncomfortable, "...Gonna take some time to get used to this form, but having some large, savage wolf woman was going to be a lot more threatening than this." she grumbles telepathically to Maven.

She then gives a cheeky grin at Kowal, who looks a bit stunned, "...We'll definitely have to talk later then. Not all Familiars can do that. You've definitely found something amazing." he says but just nods at Maven, "Go on in then. Try to make sure it- she is well behaved." he says with a sigh as the massive doors creak open once more.

"I'm sorry for that she must have sensed the guards and as just trying to protect me. I will keep her more in line on school grounds." Maven said doing her best to defend Rana in the best light that she could. She did her best to his the curiosity from her face hearing that she had made a few changes, though once she saw them she approved as she was more cute and adorable now." See now you'll fit inside just fine. And I'm aware that she is a unique familiar and let me know when you wish to discuss that matter." She added smiling at him as the two of them were finally allowed to pass through and get back on to school grounds as the gate shut behind them.

"Yeah your other form might have caused more panic not less. Sorry if it's uncomfortable, but you look so cute now. One the bright side it will make sharing a bed easier. Unless you want you own.And I think I'm taller now" Maven messaged her back as she took the lead guiding Rana to the banquet hall where the others from her class and the upper classes where gathered. The banquet hall like most buildings in the school was made of stone and lit up y various magical candles. There was a few long tables most of which had a small feast on each one. "I don't plan on staying long just enough to get a quick bite and then we can head up to my room." Maven messaged to her as she picked up a small pastry and stuffed it into her mouth before offering one to Rana.

She was a bit worried about having to talk to the school about her as clearly they weren't thrilled with her choice. But the contract the two of them made would be hard for an outside force to brake. She trusted that her companion would behave if left alone by others in the school.

Rana just chuckles a bit and Kowal just sighs a bit and nods. "Enjoy the feast." he says simply as the guards finally stand down at his orders. After they walked through and Maven started talking, the now shorter wolf girl's ear tilted towards her and she looks at Maven as she speaks. "Only barely taller. Ever heard that "Height Denotes Power"? People would have a harder time believing you control me if I was in my older look." she says with a shrug. The banquet hall, while made of stone, was incredibly gorgeous. It wasn't usually dressed up for a Banquet, but when it was like this, the tables were lined with rich colors for each of the years, the walls hung with banners denoting each of the schools of magic, and enchanted instruments played themselves creating a soft ambient song that was rather relaxing and no doubt helped calm people down after 3 days in the wilderness.

Rana just chuckles and says, "Quick bite, huh? I'm not going to deny that." she says, reaching forward as she sits down next to Maven, taking the pastry in her large claws and lightly bringing it to her mouth and biting in. A pleased look spreads onto her face, "Aaaah~ It's been so long since I've tasted sweets...Still prefer meat, but damn I've kinda missed this stuff." she says as she starts taking pickings of other food items, eating slowly as it was obvious she was savoring eating something other than flash-broiled, charred, or lightly seasoned meats. The connection was going haywire as Rana was obviously incredibly happy as she eats.

Rana was not even stopping as Lieze also enters the banquet hall, the nervous girl seeing Maven and waving slightly as she walks over, flanked by 4 small creatures Maven even would recognize as young Elementals. The Earth one, a 'Gnome', was sleeping lightly on her shoulder. The water one, an 'Undine', sat quietly on the other shoulder, giving a soft smile. The fire one, an Ignis, was busy romping around in the air behind her while the Wind one, a Sylph, excitedly floated over and starting to play with Rana's tail. Rana didn't mind it at first but soon looks at Maven a bit angrily, only to realize it wasn't her and turns her head to the young Sylph.

Lieze then speaks, "Sylla, please ask permission first next time." she says, only for the wind spirit to look at her, stick her tongue out and hide in Rana's hair. Lieze sighs and says, "I see you got something you w-wanted as well, Maven." she speaks in her usual soft manner as Rana at first tries to fish the wind elemental out before deciding it wasn't worth her time and turns back to the food.

"I'm sure you could still overpower me and most students and maybe a few professors, even if your in that form. Besides anyone who believes that power comes purely from size hasn't done enough research. Sure it's a good base to judge but can be misleading like with you for instance." Maven said more thinking out loud though she continued to to speak so only the two of them could hear each other.

Maven smiled her own happiness being lifted as it was cute to see the once savage looking woman she knew stuffing her face and over loading on sugar. "Hehe yeah thought you might enjoy this part. The food is usually pretty good and not having to cook each meal is a plus for sure." Maven said grabbing her own pastries and continued to munch on them. It felt good to be back in the civilized world not having to worry too much though with Rana around her time outside the barrier wasn't too stressful.

"Hey Lieze." Maven called scooting over a bit to make room for her to sit next to her. She didn't have many friends at school as she always had a book infront of her face. Though it was nice to see a friendly face every once in while and her successful trip had put her in a better mood. She glanced over noticing the four little creatures she had floating around her. All of which she could easily point out from a distance and made sense given the plan she had told Maven from the start.

Maven threw up her hands half a pastry still in her mouth as it was clear from her expression that she wasn't happy." Yup took me a while to find her but it was worth the effort." Maven said with a smile."I see you got your hands ful, though the others seem calm. Oh this is Rana, Rana Lieze a classmate and friend."Maven said standing up and went behind Rana as she began to coax Sylla out of her hair. "How long did it take you to find these four cuties?"

Rana giggles slightly at the idea of overpowering most students and a few professors, "Hm...Probably. Depends on if I can get the drop on them, really...Though, if nothing's changed, the Headmaster would probably..." she says, seeming to think a moment before diving back into the sweets and eating the occasional bit of meat. It was safe to say whatever she was about to say, it didn't matter. The headmasters of Taillteann have always been incredibly powerful mages, and only got more powerful as they became Headmaster and gained access to some of the most secretive tomes in the school, and with them, some of the most powerful spells that only had rumors around them since they're normally forbidden to cast outside of emergency situations.

Rana at this point, while annoyed, did her best to just ignore the wind sprite currently playing around in her already messy hair, not coming out at all for Maven. At the introductions, Rana just nods at Lieze, and with a mouthful of pastry, "Nicsh tuh meet yu." only for a giggle to come from the Undine.

Lieze just smiles slightly and says, "It was more a matter of earning their Mothers' favor to allow them to join me. Long story, but Greater Elementals can be a bit loath to relinquish their younger siblings to anyone they deem untrustworthy. Especially the Undine's mother, Aqua. She was a bit scary. Ah! Right, let me introduce them. The one currently playing with Rana is Sylia, this one," she reaches over her shoulder to pat the sleepy looking Gnome's head with a finger, who just looks at it a bit dimly before leaning back against Lieze's head again. "Is Tiere, the one on my head is Mira." at their introduction the Undine gives a small bow. "Last but not least is Etna, the stubborn hothead." she says, coaxing the flame one who seems to pout as it sits in Lieze's lap.

It was then Maven would watch as the little Sylph pokes her head out of Rana's hair before sitting on the Fenris's shoulder, who looks at her a bit. Rana speaks quietly, but Maven could hear it faintly, "...You done playing with my hair?" she mumbles only for Sylia to make a few wind-like sounds and Rana looks at what she was eating and shrugging, "Sure." as she takes off a piece and the wind sprite eagerly takes the small piece, which was big enough to look like an entire cupcake for her given she was at most half a foot tall and starting to nibble away at it. The three other elementals of Lieze took notice as the Undine seems to speak to them. The fire one immediately jumps up on the table and tries to lift an entire cupcake on her own. When Lieze was about to offer help it just puffed up its chest and seemed to say something, "There's no shame in help, Etna." she giggles before the sleepy Gnome and the proper Undine climbs down, Lieze helping them onto the table for all three to lift the cupcake and carry, with the Gnome seeming to contribute the most to carrying it, the pastry in front of Lieze before sharing it between themselves. Lieze just smiles softly and seems very pleased who finally asks back, "What about you? How'd you find Rana?" she seemed puzzled about Rana, even as the girl with claws who would probably be able to just crush these Elementals in her giant hands was instead lightly feeding Sylia small chunks of cupcake, which coaxed her out to sit on the table next to Rana.

At the same time, more students were coming in, most looking well rested and refreshed as they came in. Most had normal familiars. Cats, bunnies, dogs, wolves, but even a few had Pixies or even two or 3 had Bears that she could see outside the door after their masters brought them some good chunks of meat. The three who owned them being siblings, that much was obvious by their appearance. Someone even managed to find a Salamander, the decently sized Fire lizard wrapped around their shoulders.

Despite the fact that her efforts were having no effect on Sycalia Maven kept trying the best she could only stopping to fully listen to Lieze as she explained. "They couldn't have entrusted a better person to watch after these four young ones." Maven comented once she was done figuring that pleasing over four older elemental must have taken the better part of the three days. Hearing Rana mumble something she glanced over happy to see her getting along with the wind elemental that was bugging her. She knew the two of them would have to keep their heads down for a bit as they were barely let back inside.

Maven glanced over at Rana deep in thought as how to condense the two day ordeal the two of them went through in order to break Rana free from the old binding. More importantly she didn't want to go around telling everyone about what she had found in that cave as it would make investigating it a lot harder. And there was the odd chance that who ever did it was still on school grounds. "I found her up in the mountain region a rock slide had trapped her legs, so I helped free her and it allowed us to build up our trust for each other." Maven lied doing her best to sound as convincing as possible and kept the story as close to the truth so she could easily remember her false story."She's harmless for the most part." Maven added wrapping an arm around her for a quick hug while stealing a pastry off her plate.

Glancing around the room Maven was glad that she had a unique familiar though her eyes were drawn to the glimpse of the three bears she saw through the door. She recognized the siblings though like most students she didn't know much about them but guessed that getting bears was something that ran in the family. She let out a soft yawn as she pushed her plate away already having her full and was looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow.

Lieze smiles brightly at Maven, "I'm glad you think so, I honestly am not entirely sure myself." she says, lightly patting each of the three young Elementals in front of her. The Undine gives a kindly smile, the Gnome just relaxes a bit more, and the flame one seems to say something and sit there looking slightly fumed. Each keeps eating a piece of Cupcake at varying speeds and styles. The Undine was eating it softly and as messless as possible, the Gnome was just nibbling on it and slowly pushing it into her mouth, and the Fire one was taking big, fierce bites.

Lieze looks over as she talks about how she found Rana, the (false) story making her very curious. "Her legs were trapped under a rock slide? Oh no...Are they alright?" she asks, looking past Maven to Rana, who was silently sharing a cupcake with the Sylph. She looks at Maven then at Lieze and quickly covers for Maven, "Constant use of Healing magic, a splint, and water helped a lot. Thankfully I had nothing broken." she says, not really minding the hug or the pastry stolen from her plate. At the mention of being Harmless, she leans over to grin at Lieze, showing off her sharp canine teeth made for ripping meat apart. "Mostly." she teases. Lieze just nods slightly though seems a bit nervous. Though, the fact that there was a wolf girl and four small elementals playing around eating cupcakes was a very neat spectacle and just looking around slightly there were a few people chattering about them, but looks away when Maven's eyes looks towards them. Another thing to note was that creatures she had seen in the winter area were keeping a wide birth away from Rana, obviously recognizing her somehow.

It was about then that there was multiple gasps and a suddenly large amount of noise coming from near the doorway and when they turn around, it was someone Maven would know quite well who was thankfully in a different group/line for the beginning of the trial. She was one of the Top students of her year, but had a bit of a superiority complex, being one of the main girls who mess with Maven for her lower grades, even if it wasn't exactly her own fault. The creature she had next to her was a large drake, which was essentially one of the lesser types of dragons, but a dragon was a dragon. She gazes around until she spots Maven and Lieze, a mischievous smile spreading across her face as she traipses over, her greenish silver twin tails bobbing behind her. "Well, well, Maven! I didn't expect to see you actually get a Familiar this go around. Which one of these small fries are yours?" she asks with a teasing smile as Lieze seems to suddenly become particularly interested in her Elementals, who all look a bit confused at her reaction as the girl, Lara looks between the Four Elementals before looking at Rana, "And who's this?" she asks as the Drake sits calmly behind Lara.

"Yeah took a bit of work but was able to get her back to her old self at the end of it all." Maven added going along with what Rana said thankful she had an answer ready. Especially since she didn't have one of her own and saved her from an awkward silence while she tried to think of something. "She's joking." Maven explained giving Rana a small shove as her joke seemed to have missed it's mark completely with Lieze and was not helping the fact that the teachers were already skeptical of her. It wasn't till the room got a bit more full that maven noticed the odd looks the two mages and their familiars were getting. Though she assumed most of them were staring at the hers as elementals weren't exactly uncommon as far as familiars went. the more she looked around the worse things seemed to get as she spotted the ice sprite that was being chased a few days ago go out of her way to avoid the pair of them. She felt a bit nervous and was about to try and get Rana out of there when the room seemed to grow quiet as Lara and the drake walked in.

Maven let out a long sigh as she was tired and didn't want to deal with one of her bullies especially the worst one she seemed to have for the time being. She hated everything about her especially her complex as Maven could beat her in a few test but it didn't matter to her as her reserve kept her from succeeding. It did seem a bit fitting that she would end up with a drake as she expected her to accept nothing less then the best. And that both were known for being nasty and hard to get along with."None of them actually, they all belong to Lieze."Maven answered calmly though Rana would be able to feel her tensing up a bit. Though at the same time she was looking forward to this and being able to show off a bit for Lara. "Familiar introduce yourself to my classmate." Maven said a grin on her face as she touched the command sigil. She was tempted to go for something more flashy but she didn't want to start something at the moment

Rana could sense the tenseness easily, it wasn't hard to tell, though her own annoyance was evident. She simply looked at Lara and said, "Rana." before turning back to get some meat. Lara just chuckles a bit, "This is your Familiar? A werewolf?" she teases only for Rana to correct her, "Fenrir. Or Fenris if you prefer." she states, not even looking at Lara, who stares at Rana with a flicker of annoyance. Lieze however raises her head, "W-wait, a Fenrir? S-seriously?" she stutters, looking wide eyed at Rana. Rana just shrugs a bit as Lara says, "You remember what they are?" she says in mock surprise. Lieze just sighs a bit, "Yes. Fenrirs or Fenris are legendary wolves who are regularly believed to be descended from and serve gods as Guard Dogs or Chained to sacred places to guard them." she says, looking between Rana and Maven a bit nervously before burying her head back into watching her little Elementals eat, who all, except the sleepy Gnome, seem to sense the atmosphere and looked a bit nervous themselves.

Lara however just chuckles, "Oh, some little Guard Dog you got then?" she says teasingly, "I thought you were going to get something strong, Maven." she taunts, and Maven could sense through her connection that Rana was a bit angered at that, but more annoyed by her presence.

Maven looked between the two of them feeling a bit odd as her knowledge about the legends of Fenrir was a bit lacking as she tended to study what could be studied. Though it did make Rana's earlier predicament a bit more clear as who ever did it must have been quite familiar which the legends surrounding these creatures. The chuckle unfortunately was what Maven expected as Lara was nothing but predicable which tended to make her more annoying while teasing the blonde mage. She doubted that she would have been impressed with anything even if she had found a full fledged dragon. "Easy she's not worth it" Maven said softly resting a hand on her shoulder softly.

"I'll just let you want and see how strong she is and if the legends are true or not. Come on Rana let's leave. I've lost my appetite looking at that ugly beast and it's drake." Maven said getting up and began walking out as she really couldn't stand listening to her voice for much longer. also the fear that the banquet hall would become a small dueling ground if the two kept going at it. Normally she would have just ignored it all but now that she had Rana on her side she felt a surge of confidence.

Rana's eyes glared slightly over her shoulder, "You sure?" she says quietly, transmitting a small idea of teleporting her on top of that frozen lake. However, she just sighs, getting the jist and turns back to the steak she was devouring, at least until Maven got up saying she wasn't hungry anymore. Lieze says, "Ah- but...th-the ceremony...?" she says, before quieting down. Lara then speaks up and says, "Oooh, ugly beast? A lot coming from some Apothecary thinking she's a mage who's trying to worm away." she says as the drake circles and blocks their way. Students were all staring at them at this point as Rana's annoyance went off the charts. "You could have told me your bullies were like this..." she grumbles over the telepathic connection as her claw raises, the other chewing still on the meat.

Before Maven could stop her, the claw flashed forward and grabs the Drake's throat, lifting it off of its front slightly, causing a loud murmur over the crowd as she stares it dead in the eyes. For a short while they stare before Rana's claw releases it, revealing a sore around its throat where she grabbed it as it backs off. Lara growls, "Making her hurt my Familiar are you?" only for Rana to turn to her, "No. It pissed me off." she says, about to reach to the side to conjure her sword, which Maven could sense, but stops herself.

Before it could get any further, teachers were about to get involved only for a loud clap to fill the chamber and the lights dim massively. Seems something was about to get started as the doors closed.

Maven ignored Lieze as her mind was more focused on getting the two of them out there as soon as possible."Sadly I've gotten used to it and forgot how stuck up she was." Maven messaged back stopping giving a good distance between her and the drake.Normally she could let things like that roll off her but today not so much as she wanted things to change. She could sense Rana's emotions and knew things were getting out of hand and before she could react she saw the drake being lifted slightly by the fenrir. It was clear now that there was no running away as she glanced around room seeing a few teachers get up and head over.

"No sword just your claws. We're in enough trouble as it is."Maven messaged Rana turning around and now standing by her side."That was all her, be thankful I stopped her." Maven lied a bit as those around her needed to think the young mage could control and keep her familiar in line."Not my fault you picked an over sized lizard with no bite."Maven added getting a bit more into it as she could sense and feed off her companion's emotions. She only glanced at the sound of the clap and the lights dimming."That wasn't you right?" Maven asked keeping it between the two as she glanced around once more.

Rana's main intention with the Drake was to intimidate it, which she succeeded, but she let Maven say she stopped her. Lara scoffs angrily, "Says the one who chose what amounts to a dog with a human body." she growls as a few teachers and professors finally make it over, keeping them apart. Rana's claw was down at her side and she did her best to seem Docile as her sharp teeth tear apart the steak that still sat in her hands as she shook her head, "No. I believe that was her." she says, pointing towards the head table where the top teachers usually sat and there stood an elderly man who Maven would recognize from a few events- Headmistress Baldereon, Baldereon being her last name.

"Well, I see we have some lively students. If you'd be so kind as to take a seat so we can begin." she says curtly, Rana glaring at her for a moment before Maven could sense her immediately a lot less inclined to misbehave. She keeps eating her steak as she sits down, the Sylph looking at her with confusion before Lara and her Drake was pulled away to sit elsewhere to avoid conflict. Once Maven was sitting next to her, Rana just cuts looks towards the Headmistress. The Fenris who had just intimidated a Drake into backing down seems to have been intimidated by the Headmistress.

With the teachers blocking the pair of them Maven cooled holding her tongue as she clenched her first a bit to burn off the last bit of rage she had in her body. She glanced up at her head mistress and looked down as a teacher coaxed her back to the spot she had been sitting at. she didn't know the head mistress well as that was a privilege who students got. though like most before her she was not one to be messed with. Even Rana seemed to get that impression though it was a bit odd given her lack of knowledge about the school. Though Maven was starting to question who she could trust her teacher wise as they were the most likely candidates.

Maven let out a bit of a sigh as she ran a few fingers through her bangs as she looked around the room as a few lingering students were looking at them before the head mistress drew the attention to herself. "Sorry to get you involved like that Lieze." Maven whispered before she leaned against her familiar. "Thanks for holding back during all that." She messaged not wanting to actually speak and draw attention to herself once more and interrupt the ceremony. She hoped having Rana around would ease her bully problem but after tonight it seems like it was just going to get worst but at least she wasn't alone anymore.

Lieze just smiles shyly, "W-well...She's picked on me before as well, so I probably would have gotten involved anyway..." she says as the Undine and the Gnome that were previously occupied with the cupcake sits on her hands and comforts her while the FIre one, in her own way pushes the last bit of cupcake to Lieze. Rana just gives a nervous nod. "...If Balderon wasn't so powerful, I probably would have done something to Lara, but..." she shifts a bit and speaks again Telepathically. "I...Peeked at the Headmistress' prowess using a spell...Her signature is familiar, but she's also incredibly powerful...I would be hard pressed and probably have to do desperate things to win if I had done something. The teachers are one thing, but her...Her presence is terrifying." she says it all Telepathically as the Headmistress started to speak.

The Headmistress' speech starts much like many other speeches of hers, mostly being about the proud history and heritage of Magic and how Taillteann was one of the Oldest and most Powerful Schools. However, once past the first few bits, she starts, "...And now, as you're all sitting in this hall, you are all part of the vast number of magicians, witches, and warlocks who have a Familiar. Some of you may have started small with intent to get more powerful ones later or raise them yourself," she pauses a moment, "Some went straight for the big ones and gained a truly powerful creature that must be tamed before it'll be fully yours, and some of you managed to gain creatures many would not expect. However, many have given up and gone home before even reaching this point. It may not seem like much, but finding a good familiar is a skill all on its own, as a Loyal Familiar is more Valuable than one that's powerful and Selfish. Now that you all have Familiars, you've probably noticed by now that they share a link with you if your Contract is decently powerful. You can share emotions, thoughts, feelings, and much more is possible as well- That link is still not truly fully explored even now. But no matter how much your Familiar trusts you, the important thing is to respect them and have them respect you. While the courses of many of you are shifted now and we must adjust, we do give you all 3 days to rest and unwind after that stressful ordeal. But be warned to not slack off too much. Now that some of you have possibly doubled in power, we expect you to spend some of that time learning to control the abilities given by your newfound bonds." she stops for a moment.

"But for now, Eat and Drink to your hearts' content! A celebration is here for good reason. Use these few days of rest to retrain and keen your minds as well as Strengthen those bonds with your new Familiars. A good Mage is only as strong as their bonds and intellect, after all." she finishes, and with a wave of her hands the tables were refreshed with new food, this time being foods a lot more appropriate to a feast. Entire baked birds such as turkies and chickens, pigs on a platter, vegetables, fruits. Where before it was mostly pastry and the occasional meats, it was now much more colorful.

Across the table, Lieze seemed massively relieved, "Oh thank goodness...My body could definitely use the rest..." she says with a shaky breath. Though she didn't look horrid, it was a bit obvious from the gaunter look that she had than before the 3 days began that gaining the trust of 4 Elementals was not an easy trial.

"Most that have held that position are, you don't get the job simply because of favors. And even if they weren't the job opens a whole new assortment of perks and things to learn from." Maven messaged back not really focusing on the speech as she really couldn't care less she about the generic nonsense she was rambling on about. Though the line about ones not expected seemed to be aimed at Maven and Rana directly. " I don't want you starting a war here I know it's frustrating but we need to play by their rules for the time being. At least until we find out what more information about your past. Gonna be real hard to do if we're kicked out." Maven messaged back as the speech was wrapping up and she did her best to look interested but like most students she just wanted this to be over and have be able to unwind for a few days.

As the food shifted Maven grabbed a bit more going for the more festive things that weren't always available during the regular school days "And please don't give into Lara's game we need to beat her where it matters. But it was nice having someone stand up to her with me." Maven added looking over at Lieze for a quick second. She couldn't fault her for not joining in even though if the two had before it may caused her to pick someone who was alone."Yeah sleeping on a bed will be nice instead of a cave floor."Maven joked as she dug into her plate savoring it as she glanced around the room noticing the teachers we're still hoovering around her and Lara. "Alright you ready to go Rana?" Maven asked once again standing up and pushed her plate away. "Good night Lieze, enjoy the rest days."

Rana nods a bit, "Yeah...I remember a headmaster before that was really scary as well...Not sure of the name though." she says with a grumble she however seems really nervous and her ears lean downwards at the 'not starting a war', "I was just trying to intimidate her...It worked on the creatures in the forest." she practically mumbles through the Messages. it looked kinda cute, but it was strange how she not only knew intricacies of magic, but then had some rather...bestial outlooks. However, she grins a bit, "Her own game, eh...? I have my own game I could do with her that might fix that bitchy attitude of hers." she says, though judging by the strange heat being shared by the connection, it was a lewd idea, and given the size of Rana when Maven gave her virginity to her and how strong she was...

Rana did however nod cheerfully, "Ah yes~ A proper bed would be great for once. Don't get me wrong, I loved my furs, but it might be nice sleeping on something with more than Hard Stone under it." she telepathically says back as she was eagerly eating food off of a plate in front of her, not even bothering with utensils- Her large paws would make it too hard to actually use them. It was after only a few moments that she was done and eagerly laid her head on the table after pushing the plate away. Lieze was watching with wide eyes as the Sylph decides to lay down on the big warm wolf girl's arm.

It was cute to see, but when Maven asks if she's ready to go, she just gives a nod with her eyes closed. She rather softly lifts the sylph off of her elbow and pats its head before standing up. She had noticed the Teachers as well, but not seeing them actually trying to harm them...She wasn't worried. She then waves at Lieze, Sylia the Sylph, Tiere the Gnome, Mira the Undine, and Etna the Ignis goodbye, speaking slightly in Primordial- Which was notoriously hard to learn, though some creatures knew it naturally. Whatever she said, the elementals all look at her, including Lieze looking very surprised to hear the Fenris speak Primordial, only for all of the Little Elemental to say the same thing, which Rana seemed pleased with before following Maven.

Maven smiled as she watched Rana say her goodbyes to the small elementals even letting out a soft aw as she spoke to them though she only recognized the language. It was nice seeing the sweet side of her as she really seemed like a gentle giant unless provoked. "I don't think it worked as intended she doesn't get intimidate easily, if anything she probably saw it as a challenge." Maven explained not messaging her as the two where outside of the banquet hall and practically alone in the school corridor. "And what ever game you're thinking of no. Besides you might catch something." Maven joke as her curiosity was peaked but not enough to pursue as she didn't want to think of the two of them together.

Maven remained quiet for the rest of the short walk as she led her don an smaller hallway which lead to the second year dorms and were divided again as the boys had a different wing from the girls to try and prevent sleep overs. All the doors had on visible handles only small plaques with their names on it. Thankfully her room was near the enterance as only a few doors down Maven stopped placing her hand on the door as it glowed softly and opened up slowly. "Here we are home sweet home." She joked as she held the door open for Rana making a small motion with her hand as a few candles lit up on their own.

Inside the room was a decent size allowing her to have a few bookshelves most of which were filled with old texts from her prior year and even a few of her own collection which were more suited for the grade above her. Against the back wall was her bed a queen sized one which would easily fit the two of them even if Rana was in her taller form. Across from the bookshelves was her desk which as in a rather chaotic state as a few books were piled on it each having smaller slips poking out of them. Next to that was her dresser and lastly at the foot of her bed was a large trunk for her more personal belongings. Taking her cloak off and hanging it by the door she walked over to the chest unlocking it with quick touch of her hand. She unloaded the journals from the cave and staff part before she locked it up again. "Do you want me to request a separate bed for you? Or are you fine sharing?" She asked as she sat down on the trunk.

Rana frowns, "Oh...She's one of those people then. What a pain. And don't worry about that second thing. I was joking...Mostly." she says with a rather grumpy scowl as she held a single chunk of meat with her, eagerly taking bites still. It was a surprise she still had room for any food, though...given the large pile of bones in the corner of her cave...She probably had an appetite. As some guards tried to tell her food should be left in the Cafeteria, a single fierce glare at them made them back off. Rana finished off the chunk of meat by the time they reached the room, licking her claws clean as she radiated heat from her digestion and her satisfaction. Though she didn't mean to, Maven could hear a single thought rise through her head, "Man...I missed having decent food~" she says with an almost cheerful and carefree tone as she follows inside.

She looks around with great interest as she wanders around the room a bit, taking peeks at each little object. "Damn, they don't skimp on student rooms at all still, do they?" she says with a soft laugh. However, unlike Maven, she started pulling away her entire line of clothing, looking relieved as she stood there almost stark nude except for the 'underwear', which was practically some underwear she found in the Coffer, but strapped with the badly stained cloth she had worn before to keep them in place. "I'm fine with sharing. I was actually going to ask you if you'd prefer to sleep with my taller form, or this form?" she asks with a chuckle. "My wolf form is out of the question, I'd break the bed unless you'd rather use me as your bed instead." she teases, but by the way she was now barely clothed, only wearing some undergarments around her crotch and hips, probably out of simple courtesy. There was no bulge though and if prodded would give a simple answer: "Magic! It'd reappear if I take these off. Think of it as a spell similar to 'dimensional door'- I'm essentially using magic to 'vanish' a single part of me for a short while." she says with a grin.

(Apologies about the wait- Monster Hunter: World and FFXIV's newest patch have been keeping me busy)

(it's okay been playing Witcher 3 while waiting for replies)

It was odd feeling Rana's thoughts as Maven wasn't use to the deeper connection the two of them had. It felt almost like an invasion of her privacy but thankfully it was a rather tame thought. "Yeah they tend to spoil us, room is self cleaning too." The young mage added though given the stacks of books everywhere she didn't use that feature too often, mostly just to make the bed in the morning. "It's tempting to use you as a bed but had my fill of sleeping on fur for the time being. Taller, it's kind of odd seeing you like this, and may have a slight preference for that one."Maven answered chuckling a bit as she noticed her companion was rather quick to disrobe herself now that they were alone. She was curious about the whole change in her body though she had chalked it up to it her being in the smaller form not just hiding that one part.

"Clever but no need to hide it here." Maven said following suite as she removed the rest of her clothes tossing them in a small hamper by her dresser. She got changed into a simple dark blue silk night gown that ended just above her knees. She glanced over at the desk seeing her studies that had been put on hold for the familiar trip and let out a small sigh before she laid down on the bed. She was already a little ahead in the class giving her a small window where she could slack off for this next few days. " We should get you some newer clothes tomorrow . Don't see much sense in you continuing to use those old things." Maven said scooting over a bit to give Rana enough room to curl up next to her taking the position as the bigger spoon. She had never really craved sleeping next to someone but after doing it for three days in the cave it felt odd not having a body and heat source next to her.

Rana chuckles a bit, "Yeah. Kinda fits though- This place was pretty much a castle before and treated its students as its Heirs." she says, softly walking over to inspect the stacks of books. "Taller, hm? Alright." she says, nodding before standing up. However, instead of changing form, she actually strips down completely, tossing aside the stained cloth and underwear, back still turned as Maven watches her softly glow, dark blue hair with bright tips shifts and the colors 'expand', the dark blue and bright blue stretching down and squishing as the dark blue fades to black and the rest of her body grows to fill out to the familiar appearance. As the changes calm down she lets out a sigh. Her voice was noticeably more 'mature', making Maven realize her voice before was a lot higher to match her more childish appearance. She turns around with a wide smile as she puts the books down before pulling the straps back on.

"I wouldn't mind, but I'd say an outfit for each form will do. Despite how messy these straps of cloth were, it's the result of many years of me being in that cave, trapped dormant in my own head as I lived not much better than a beast." she says with a shrug. "And I can be quite good at self-cleaning if I hadn't been Bestial." she says with a grin. "However, I may have glanced over something you said just now...A 'slight preference for that form', hm?" she asks, crawling in, still naked as she pulls the smaller female against her, Maven able to feel the light thunk of the large tail smacking against the bed slightly. "What about this form?" she asks as she teasingly wraps the large, strong paws around the front of Maven. It was easy to get even a strong sense Rana was playing with her a bit and just wanted to tease a bit.

Maven smiled softly her eyes watching Rana as she glowed and took on the shape she knew and loved. "In a way we are, and in some cases defiantly as most of the teachers here were students. Don't think i want to go down that path. seems kind of boring to use all your knowledge just to sit around and teach others. Would much rather travel and help those who I can." She explained softly as she folded her arms over Rana's her own hands barely covering half of hers.Even without the bond between the two of them the young mage could tell her companion was teasing her. She didn't mind it and played along as she nuzzled into her softly petting the fur on her arms. "I know what I like and besides kinda got used to sleeping like this." Maven joked back.

It was nice just laying there as Maven motioned once more and the candles blew out on their own leaving a wisp of smoke illuminated by the moon light shining in through the one window. "I'm curious how much of the legends about your kind are true. and if you watch over the gods does that make me a goddess?" Maven asked truly curious. Legends were an area that she didn't really study as she focused on the magics that she could learn and see and not break down tales she heard as a child.

Rana giggles a bit as Maven speaks about not wanting to become a teacher, "Hehe. I don't blame you. A Teaching position isn't entirely fun and can be very boring- That's essentially a role I took up with our contract, isn't it?" she says, jokingly, "Though, in my case, I'd probably have not run around helping others. I might have sat in that cave trying to remember and would probably have ended up coming here once I recognized the symbols." she says, seeming to be putting some thought into this as the fur on her hands and arms was rubbed by Maven. She blushes slightly but says, "Ehehe, I don't mind sleeping with you a bit like this either."

As the lights fade and only the soft glow of moonlight dimly lights the room, Rana seemed to be relaxing quite well in the soft bed and blankets, the thumping of her tail slowing down. At the talk of the legends of Fenrirs, she softly rubs her face against the blonde girl's hair. "Hm...In a way, I guess? I'm sure a number of the strongest Fenrir served the gods, but a number also fought against them. I even remember a legend about the Grandfather of all Fenrirs is chained up by the gods and when those chains break would release a Calamity. I'm sure we served Gods as us Fenrir can be very strong. Just like that Drake, I'm very young in comparison to others, that much I know, and will only get stronger as I get older. The chaining of me in that cave was probably them emulating that "Great Father of all Fenrir". Just like Humans, some Fenrir probably just choose to roam quietly, some try to find a higher purpose, and many find purpose in service." she finishes before smiling. "Basically, I'm sure some of our kind watch over gods, just like others fight against them. We're in a spectrum, but we all tend to fall into Service, whether it's to bind down her destructive tendencies or to find an outlet for them by Serving." she says,

However, even as she goes back to relaxing, her warm paws wrap a bit tighter, "That may not make you a goddess, but Fenrir are fiercely loyal- Make me adore you and I may treat you as one." she teases, chuckling a bit and sticking her tongue out.

"Really? Lore and creatures is probably the area of my studies that I lack the most. It's not that I don't care I would just rather improve myself before looking into the tales of others.Used to like them when I was little " Maven answered just listening as Rana gave her a bit more insight into the history and lore behind her kind. She was a little shocked to hear she was still considered young considering how old she already seemed by comparison along with what they found in the cave. "I'll try and make you being my teacher as fun as possible and it already comes with a few perks." Maven nuzzling back a bit more causing her cheek to get licked as she had her tongue out.

Maven left out a soft yawn as her eyes began to feel a bit heavier blinking a few times before she kept them closed completely. "I'll always work towards that. You're more then my familiar you're my partner and will be here whenever you need me." Maven added her fingers locking slightly, her words a bit heavy as it was clear she was ready to pass out any second now. And not even a few moments later she fell asleep still cuddled up to Rana easily drifting off to sleep as the extra body heat soothed her and eased any worries.

Rana just nods softly, "I don't blame you. Most probably don't consider Lore as that important outside of research, but knowing the past of special species is pretty good to keep in mind later on in your schooling." she teases, but as she sits still she says, "Partner and Teacher, huh...? Well then, I'll be sure to treat you well, Student." she teases, only to kiss Maven on the forehead before pulling the smaller girl to lay in her chest, the combined warmth of her and her blankets was intense to say the least. When Maven wakes up, she finds that thankfully since there was no classes for her today, she was free for the day. At the same time, she would also get a good look at Rana, the large Wolfgirl Fenrir- A species that either bring destruction or work under gods themselves- Was sleeping like a puppy with Maven wrapped in her arms. Their grip wasn't nearly as tight as the night before, so if she wanted to, she could shift them out of the way if she wanted to go take care of something and she wouldn't wake if the fact Rana was almost completely still apart from her soft snoring.
