That's What I Like (1x1 w/ Mr.Aznable)

It was a relatively silent dinner, it wasn't uncomfortable or awkward but it was nice. Sena poured Theo some rose wine and smiled softly.

"So...how have you both been since we were here last?" Sena asked. Magnara nodded, "Good, things are doing good."

Ayani smiled and pat Magnara's hand. "Yes, when your father isn't buried in work.." she said coyly. Theo smiled and laughed a bit

Magnara's ears wiggled a bit, "I have been quite busy preparing for the festival and though your mother would protest I do my best to make time for her." "Aw..." Sena smiled.

They finished up dinner with more chatter before everyone went their seperate ways. Sena headed back to the room with Theo while Magnara headed back to Ayani.

There was a little note on the table beside him. It was in Sena's handwriting, and she did in fact have to get up incredibly early to go prepare for everything. The festival would begin around the time the casino would open up, and that would be another couple hours.

He made a noise and continued to lay there for a bit, before reading and then finally getting up and getting dressed.

It would be a good opportunity to get a better look at the place, since the last time he was here he was watched rather closely.

The whole house was beautiful, Magnara had impeccable taste. The grounds were neatly cared for and decorated with exotic flowers. He could see the casino from here, and it was even more lavishly decorated.

Theo ended up reading, and playing some games on his phone for a few hours, before getting ready and heading out to the festival grounds.

Everything looked like he had stepped back in time but still modern. There was music all around him with some food vendors and educational groups. There were many heifers dressed in beautifully crafted fabrics with flowers all through their hair, the bulls bare chested with simple lower coverings. Overlooking everything was Magnara, dressed in much more extravagant fabrics, but there wasn't any sign of Ayani or Sena. Still getting ready, no doubt; Sena mentioned there was a special event she had to attend.

He learned a lot about Sena's culture, how her tribe had been here for centuries and how after new species coming in left them with so little of their own land left. It was fascinating to hear how they managed to continue to survive with so many others to share with.

You could hardly tell it was vegetarian, it was really good. There was a lot of fun games to do, and by the afternoon, there was a special traditional dance announced that all the heifers and cows were going to do. Everyone gathered around the extravagantly decorated stage and chattered quietly as they waited. Theo managed to get a spot up front.

The steady beat of a drum sounded and everyone quieted. The curtains parted and heifers and cows dressed in beautiful dresses decorated in feathers and flowers and beads began dancing to the beat and chanting of the bulls behind them. After a bit, Ayani and Sena moved to the front, dressed more beautifully than the others, both in matching dresses. Their hair was laid down and woven with hibiscus flowers and glass beads. They both looked stunning.

Sena looked through the crowd and spotted him easily. She smiled softly and put a little more sway in her movements, loving his expression.
