He moved to open the door and smiled. "Hey, come on in.." he said.

She smiled and stepped inside, "Aw, you cleaned~"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Yeah that happens every once in a while..~" he teased.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She laughed softly and moved to the bedroom, "So what game are we playing today?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"I dunno, maybe a fighting game or something.." he took a breath. "I uh.. wanted to.. talk first.. if that's alright..?" He asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He could see her tense for a moment, "What about?" She asked, turning on her phone.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"It's uh.. it's about.. us.. this.. thing that we have.." he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She gripped her phone tight. "Mhm?" She refused to look up from her phone.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"I know you.. wanted to keep things.. y'know casual.. but.. would you.. ever consider.. taking it further...?" He asked.

Her ears wiggled, "I...might have mulled it over a couple times..."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"And..?" He asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"To be honest..." She set her phone in her lap, "I've been really scared to bring it up..."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Yeah.. same.." he said. "Well.. good to see we're on the same page.." he laughed softly.

"I want to explain to you more about...why I'm happier with having a friend with benefits than a commitment..." She said hesitantly.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He gently pat her hand. "Like I said.. any time you wanna talk, I'm all ears.." he said.

She smiled softly and made a noise, "It kind of started with...when I moved from the bulls in my home to the predators that visited. A lot of them were really nice and a lot...not so nice. My last relationship..." She stopped and lowered her gaze, "My last one put me in a hospital...for a long time...after that, I just..." She bit her lip, "Fuck..." She was crying.

He held her hand tight and hugged her. "Hey hey hey.. it's ok.. you don't have to tell me any more if you don't want to.."

She started shaking before she began to sob, holding onto him tight. She couldn't bring herself to speak anymore, she was so shaken.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He just holds her close, trying to relax her. "Shshhshhh.." he said, trying to calm her down.

She eventually calmed down, her makeup smudged and running down her cheeks, "S-Sorry..."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He shakes his head and holds her close. "Just know that I would never hurt you.." he said.

She looked up and sniffed, carefully wiping her smudged makeup clean, "Are you saying...you wanna go out with me...?"

"I've uh.. been wanting to.. for a while now.." he said.

She laughed softly, "My mom has been telling me for a month now to go for it...cuz I keep telling her about this really nice tiger I was interested in.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He laughs softly. "So.. is that a yes..?" He asked.
