She was rather attractive, almost addictive. Was it the cliche predator/prey attraction? He didn't know what it was about her, but he couldn't get enough.

He shook it off and got dressed for work, having to go represent the company well. He sent her a 'Good morning' like he always did, making sure she was ok before he left.

He made a noise and sighed softly. She was acting strangely, but he remembered that she wanted to keep it casual. He was bored out of his mind, in a meeting he didn't even belong in as he texted her. "How you holding up?"

"Keeping things casual with you is really difficult.." She muttered. She made a noise and picked up her phone again.
"mom do you have a minute to talk?"
 
Sena bit her lip before texting back.
"don't tell dad but...i met this guy...hes a predator as per usual...but like...i cant stop fucking thinking about him...i hate it..."
 
Ayani responded after a while. "I won't tell your father, but I do think you should discuss it with this boy. Is he nicer than the others, at least?"
 
"so much nicer. but i think its only because hes actually respecting the boundries i set. i wanted to keep it casual because i didnt want him becoming like the others. but i...idk mom...was it like this for you and dad?"
 
"Well.. your father and I had.. a different way of going about it. But, if you feel like you want to try a more serious relationship, maybe ask him?"
 
"yeah. ill keep testing the waters for now. i know dad is gonna freak when he finds out. thanks mom. i love you. tell dad i love him too."
 
She was distraught for a while, but soon managed to calm herself. The two of them continued their friendship for a while, neither one taking it any further than it needed to be.
