It was a late Fall evening in Kabukicho, the entertainment and red light district. If you were looking to be involved in seedy business, this was the place to go. The Tokyo district was most known for being the location of many hostess clubs, love hotels and nightclubs. Due to the type of area it was, the yakuza were rife in the area. And no one was more feared or infamous than the Renaissance gang.
The Kabukicho Renaissance gang was known for dealing in sex trafficking and drugs as their preferred manner of making money. Territory, naturally, was a big concern for them. And in order to ensure that their interests were best protected, they had no issues making sure to secure the best assassins that money could buy. They made sure to have an elite staff of at least 5 killers, having a good source to replace them should they ever die or need to be eliminated. To them, human life was worthless, unless it was making them money.
The organization they purchased their trained killers from had no name, as they preferred to keep things as secretive as possible. The organization was led by a former yakuza boss, who stepped down in order to train adept killers. The boss had lost his family in an attack by a rival gang, and felt he had nothing to lose. So he was sure to ensure that it wouldn’t happen again under the watchful eye of one of his proteges. But the price for a fully trained assassin was steep, causing them to be severely limited in number due to the harshness of the training and the length of time it took to train them.
Of course, getting human lives when they were babies was an expensive endeavor. Generally, the organization tended to buy the time of former drug addicts, living homeless on the streets. They would promise a steep sum in order to have a year of their lives and womb. From there, they would be weaned off the drugs for the duration of the pregnancy, with the promise of enough money to fund a lifetime of a bad drug habit. Then, the women would be artificially inseminated with the semen of mercenaries, hoping to breed a superior killer. After the child was born, generally through c-section, the women were sold off through the sex slave trade or killed.
The children would proceed to enter a life of training and challenges. Generally, a training group started with 30 children, and was lucky to finish with a third still alive. The challenges of their life was too much for many of them, dying of various causes. Most commonly tended to be multiple injuries due to the brutal training. Their bodies were then burned and ashes tossed away, having no family to claim them.
Once the children reached the age of 13, they were then taken to auction and sold off for millions of dollars. Buyers came from all over the world to purchase the product. There was never any shortage of buyers, but there was a finite supply of product. From that point on, they belonged to the organization that purchased them, no better than slaves themselves. Products of the organization were suspected in the death of world leaders, billionaires, drug kingpins and even a few actors that ended up on the wrong side of someone very wealthy.
Kaiya Shino was the result of such an upbringing. Her last name was the only gift she ever received from the organization, the same last name all the graduates got. She was one of the most rare specimens produced from the facility, a twin. What was even further inspiring, was that she and her brother both succeeded in surviving their training. The pair of them were very close, which the organization viewed as a weakness. So even though many interested buyers wanted them as a pair, they were sold separately and lost contact with each other.
The 24 year old beauty was the star assassin for the Renaissance gang, their go to girl. She had long, black hair so dark that when the light hit it just right, it turned blue. She had blue eyes, obviously only half Japanese. Her body was tight and toned, poured into a black leather cat suit that zipped up from the crotch to her bountiful breasts. Perhaps, if life had been kinder to her, she could have been scouted for a model.
Tonight, her target was the owner of the Fruits Hostess Club, one of the most popular ones. Unfortunately for him, he had fallen on the wrong side of the gang due to stealing a shipment of raw materials destined to be cocaine. And to top it off, when he was initially approached about it, he chose to instead murder 3 members of the gang. So there was no other choice than to “cash him out”, as Boss Tanaka used such a term for what his elite killers did.
She was smoking a cigarette, waiting outside the back door of said club. The dark haired woman had performed reconnaissance for several weeks leading up, disabling the security cameras and ensuring that any guards were given ample distraction around 4 am, when the owner left with the day’s earnings. The man was a bit of a skinflint, only trusting himself with the typically large sum. A car was always waiting for him, but Kaiya had prearranged for said car to be involved in an accident two streets away from the club.
At precisely 3:55 am, the guards would have to be involved in a fist fight inside the establishment, where knives were to be used. A few prospective members of Renaissance who had to prove their mettle in order to become a full fledged member would be responsible for the distraction. That way, they wouldn’t be recognized. The owner would still leave, as he couldn’t do anything for the problem, slipping out the back with the money. From there, Kaiya would strangle him to death, and take the money in order to make it look like a robbery.
Kaiya tossed her cigarette to the ground, extinguishing it with a quick grind of her heel. Even if she knew a laundry list of ways to kill a person, she knew that her appearance was her most powerful weapon. That’s why she dressed in tight clothes, high heels and let her cleavage be so exposed. Around a beautiful women, even hardened criminals could let their guard down. Her fingers lightly danced over the large wrist band to her finger less gloves, where the garrotte was kept hidden. Her delicate fingers knew exactly how to grab it and choke a man in less than a minute. All she had to do now was be patient and wait for it.
