"Nothing just worried about something is all. I am going to spend most of my day looking up stuff in the map room if you need me. " He took a deep breath his eyes never breaking from her's.
 
"In order to get what i want i have to do something incredibly risky. And ... I have to let the Germans think I am betraying the only woman i ever loved. "
 
Elise looked at him, her face seemed to furrow a little. He hand moved up to his chest and said "What are you talking about....What are you going to do" she said getting even more worried.
 
"There is someone i need to kill to get Adrien to com with us. With out him i can not get Annabelle and with out here i can not get you. I have to do this i just don't like what i need to do to kill him. "
 
Elise looked at him and said "Stephen, tell me what your going to do!" she said her hands balling into fists on his chest. She looked him in his eyes pleading for him to speak.
 
"I am going to tell them i am going to betray the resistance as long as I can meet the man who Adrien wants dead. Then when they come to find me i will step out shoot him dead and blow up the bridge. " He spoke softly hoping she would not hate him for coming up with this plan and putting himself in harms way.
 
"I am not going to make a move until i am certain i have planned it out." He took a deep breath looking into her eyes. "I am willing to take a risk to protect you all. "
 
Elise looked at him and said "Please....please...don't do it....I can't loose another person that I love" she said looking into his eyes, begging him not to do it. "If you were to die....I don't know what I would do".
 
"I wont die i am just to stubborn to die. " He smiled kissing her softly holding her close regretting telling her his foolish plan already.
 
Elise kissed him back and closed her eyes. She wrapped her arms around him and pulled away and said "Your so stupid...you don't have to do this..." she said.
 
"I do have to do this. It is worth the risk to keep those i love safe. " He kissed her lightly holding her close his hands running over her sides.
 
"I will I promise I just hope it is as a success. " He spoke softly standing up clearly he was extremely nervous. He got dressed slowly trying to calm himself down.
 
She looked at him at he got out of the bed. She did the same and began to get dressed silently. He didn't want him to go, but it seemed that nothing she could say to him could stop him from doing it.
 
"Elise... I love you. " He said softly as he took off the ring she had given him placing it firmly in her palm taking a deep breath. "I will be back for that. " He smiled kissing her softly if something happened he did not want to lose that ring.
 
Elise looked at him as he placed the ring in her palm. She looked down at it and accepted his kiss. She kissed him back softly before she whispered against his lips "You better be!" before she turned and began to do up her shirt.
 
Stephen turned from her and went quickly down to the map room. Once there he began making plans he would need to know every lay of the land in the area if he wanted to get back alive. He began planning out his flight back to the hide out knowing it could take a day or more.
 
He nodded and took the plate his hand reaching out pulling her into his lap holding her close. "I am sorry I have to do this but its the only way. "
 
"I will i promise. I almost have this plan figured out i just need to know what he looks like so i don't kill the wrong man. "
