Ancient Ways

Aten didn't even flinch, he remained perfectly calm "Now now your supposed to be helping yourself im fine." Aten took her hand as casually as ever and place it on her chest. " Here is another place that can give you the feeling." Aten watched and waited seeing what she would do.
 
She frowned sighing. She let go of herself and sat up, sliding off the bed carefully, and headed for the bathroom, mumbling something about needing a bath... She couldnt understand this... no wonder girls relied on their mothers so badly, this was all so confusing, and Aten wasnt helping matters... If she felt this way, then shouldnt he? and if these movements he showed her helped it, then shouldnt movements of a similar fashion help him? But why would he not want help? This was so frustrating... she started the bath, stripping down and jumping in, the water luke warm the way she liked it... she absent mindedly grabbed her chest again, and gave a small squeeze, playing with the nipple a bit. Gods this was going to be difficult, she thought as she started to wash
 
As soon as she enter the washroom he let out a sigh and his whole body relaxed as it was tense the whole entire time. He stretched out and sprawled over the bed and closed his eyes for a bit he was sure Azura would wake him when she was done. He had hoped when he woke the herbs effects would have worn off.
 
After her 'exploritory' wash, she rinsed off and got out, draining the water. She went out of the bath without drying herself off, her bath having washed all the paste from her wound, and the warm water making it hurt, she didnt want to rub a towel over it as well, so she flopped onto her belly on the bed, still kind of wet, and lay there, trying not to cry...
 
Aten woke up from his nap seeing he still had his problem but wasn't concerned with that, he looked of to where he heard the small noises coming from and got off the bed and headed straight for the medicine cabinet making sure he grabbed the right herbs, not needing to make the same mistake and added a lot more aloe vera this time. He grabbed the flat headed stick he carved and the motar and headed over to her on the bed. "Its going to be really cold this time. So prepare yourself." Aten scooped out a blob of the paste and spread it on the wound making sure not to get any on himself. He ran a hand up her side to see if she was still affected by the herbs or if it was just him. He would be able to tell by her reaction.
 
She winced when the paste hit her wound, but soon the pain was just a throb, not really bad as it was before... She didnt flinch when he touched her, her body getting over the herbs fast from the pain, but she did put her hand over his, just holding it. She closed her eyes and breathed carefully, her chest moving her back ever so slightly. "..thank you, that feels much better..." she said quietly, a thin bit of sweat on her brow...
 
Aten sighed "That's good were finally ready to head to the forest just give me a second." Aten sat down on the toilet and pulled the knife from his pocket and pierced his pinky finger and watched the blood drip to the floor. He put the knife back in his pocket and tasted his blood, bitter sweet as usual so everything was out of his system. He looked between his legs and saw that he was no longer flying high. He put a small bandaid on his finger and headed out of the bathroom. "Ok this time there should be no problems, ready to go meet everyone again?" Aten had walked over to the medicine cabinet and pulled out a cloth bag filling it with the extra paste he made and put it in his pocket heading over to Azura.
 
She gave a small nod, still naked. She honestly didnt want anything to touch her back, it hurt to much... but she knew that shed have to put Something on... She smiled. "Do you still have my robes from the forest, the ones i came here in? They have an open back, so it will be better than a full shirt..." she said, getting up to sit on the bed carefully....
 
Aten looked by her feet where he had left the clothes from back a night ago and went and picked them up. "Ill be right back with these. He took the clothes outside and shook the dirt out from them, amazingly the dirty came off without a problem and he brought them back in to her placing them in her lap. "There you go ill be waiting outside ok?" Aten went back outside and sat in the sun while waiting for Azura to get changed.
 
She got changed quickly, not tying the ties in the back and went to the door to look out for him "Ready.." she said, not sure if she really was or not... she was clothed, a little hungry but she could wait, and she hurt still, but what do you expect from being shot in the back?!
 
Aten picked her up and headed to the forest straight away not wasting any time. He reached the outskirts and stopped just inside the forest placing Azura on the ground "Now we just need to find out where they went." Aten sniffed the air not getting any scents "I got nothing how about you?" Aten said looking back towards her.
 
She shook her head "Nothin, though my range of hearing has gone down a bit.... if we were a group of newly freed demons with families, where would you go?" she asked, trying to think logically, sifting through thoughts that some of the families and guards were going through... an odd story kept coming up, but other than that, no clues...
 
Aten felt the wind pass by him and gave another sniff "Wait a minute I think I smell them on the wind there up north east" Aten said pointing in the direction he smelt them from. He picked up Azura and ran through the forest until they came to a small clearing where he found everyone, little houses and what not already being built some in the forest and some on the desert. He placed Azura on the ground and looked back to her "I have a little something I have to take care of for a minute ill be right back. Aten gave her a nice long kiss before he head off in search of the one he would need to chat with. He found her in no time and asked her a favor it shouldn't be a problem with her "Alright then ill leave that part to you then mother." Aten brought his mother over to Azura "Alright you have both already meet so ill leave her in your care for awhile. Azura have fun now." Aten went behind her making sure not to touch her back but let one hand travel down her waist and one hand across her chest as he whispered in her ear "Shes going to teach you everything you need to know for the honeymoon after the marriage, don't have to much fun without me now." Aten gave her neck a quick nibble and her chest a quick rub before heading off to find Bura to see how the new town was coming.
 
She blushed beet red as she he left, facing her mother-in-law-to-be... This was going to be interesting... Mother led her to one of the houses in the forest and drew the curtain, and started to talk to her about things, showing her if the demonstration was needed.... It would take a while, until sundown at least. The families had made a bonfire on the sands, bringing fallen trees to sit on around it and loading it with the dead branches, singing and dancing around it, children running around free after a long time inside walls... She came out of the home and was less blushing, but knew what she had to do now at least... Her back was quite sore now though, and she was starting to sweat because of it again, so she started to look for Aten, ignoring to the best of her ability all the noise and thoughts from everyone...
 
Aten had found Bura earlier and had been helping around the town with the construction of the houses and planting new trees. He was working hard talking to Bura about different things like training, a chapel, and construction for the water line as they had picked the perfect spot with a little waterfall and a hole that had been made by the falling water. Aten looked up in the sky the sun was close to setting he looked around wondering where all his time had gone "Hey Bura I think thats enough for today." Aten said leaning against one of the newly built houses.
 
Bura gave a nod "Yea, i was just thinking the same thing... Say, do you and Azura wish to meet my little son? His names Asur, hes a young one, only a few summers old. Id like you to see why i endured all of the servatude for, to protect my family" he said looking around for Azura. "Where is your lovely wife to be? She came with you, no?"

Azura went to the fire and danced with some of the girls, since they sort of dragged her there, and chased the kids on her search for Aten, who she couldnt seem to really find... She evaded the next few people to walk the darker edges of the forest, her back hurting bad now... ~Aten, where are you?~ she sent to him, sitting on the ground in the outskirts of the forest by the desert, just outside the ring of light cast by the fire
 
Aten gave a little chuckle "Umm she did you see but I sent her away with my mom to have her learn the teachings of life. But I should go find her now he said looking down at the pouch. As soon as I find her i'll meet you at your house we'll enjoy the night have a few drinks." Aten gave a sniff and caught her scent, he had grown so accustomed to it he could always find her. He ran off waving to Bura as he left. He snuck up quietly behind her and hung down from the tree so that his face was right in front of her. "So how's it going did you have fun?" Aten said with a small smirk.
 
She gave a small squeek, not hearing him come near, and smiled as she looked through his eyes "Hey there you are... It was, uh, educational... I think i am more comfortable with the idea now that i have a base understanding of what exactly is going on.... What did you do while i was there? And why are you upside down?" she asked, smiling and chuckling a bit. She looked tired, and a bit pale, a small bit of sweat on her brow from being near the fire and the pain making her overheat.
 
Aten giggled a little letting his arms fall limp and swaying back and forth a little with a smile on his face "Im up here cuz I thought it would be fun and I was just with Bura talking about random things while helping around the town keeping my promise and what not. Now if you lean forward I can put some more cooling paste and when you wake up in the morning the burning will be gone just a little pain." Aten took the pouch from around his waist and waited for her to lean forward so he could put it on.
 
She leaned forwards, giggling a little "So everyone is settled and happy, i take it?" she asked, wincing as the paste hit her, but sighing as the burning started to fade...
 
"So far there haven't been any complications everyone is just glad to be free." Aten licked what ever paste was left on his fingers and shuddered a bit after all he wasn't used to cold. He lifted Azura back to the upright position and gave her a nice long kiss giggling a little since he was hanging upside "So Bura has invited us over to meet his kid I told him we would swing by after I found you, that is of course unless you had something else in mind?" Aten said back to swinging arms dangling as he did.
 
She chuckled "No not really, i was just wanting to find you and maybe something to eat..." she said as her stomach growled a bit. She didnt know what to do around so many people, and honestly she didnt know how much longer she Could stay around this many people... her head was already starting to hurt, which considering shed been there all day was saying that she had gotten much stronger... she was able to block more now, but still there was alot to think over...
 
Aten looked at her carefully "You know if the voices are to much we can go out for a bit and come back tomorrow after all I dont need you straining yourself to much it could kill you or so Bura told me, something about using to much to block things out and then having them come at you in a swarm or something. So what do you want to do?" Aten said not swinging anymore. " I can always make some food back at the house now that im wide awake and wont put anything funny in it."
 
She chuckled again "No, im fine, just i dont think i can stay the night here... we can meet Bura and his family, and then maybe we could go after that? Id like to meet the family of the man that helped us..." she said with a smile.
 
"Ok then" Aten said swinging forward and grabbing onto the tree and letting his legs drop but they didnt hit the ground, he was using his strength to keep his body straight to hover above her. "Im ready to leave when ever you are, and I learned a few tricks can you tell?" Aten chuckled while flipping around so he was looking down at her.
