Another whine puffed up his chest as his ears were uncovered; but mostly it was because their warm moment, as well as that warm body, seemed to be so cruelly torn away from him. The pout he landed up on his redhead as he fixed himself wasn't the usual bubbly look he tended to offer. It was a bit pathetic; he was more sad than angry at the damned noise maker. "I didn't set a timer," he huffed as that hand was offered to him.

How weird. He thought as much after it happened but the simple little offer brought a little smile back to his face. "Hang on," he chuckled as he squinted out the awkward thought while taking the help up. "Shouldn't that have just been the other way around?" Despite saying as much, they'd both been rocks for each other just now. It was a small, simply tease toward the thought that he was supposed to be the one supporting Shuichi. But he did know it wasn't actually like that.

He took the lead as he stood and used the hold to pull himself in close to the redhead. A smirk crossed his lips again, able to think now that the timer had stopped ringing. "Hey~" he purred heatedly. Finishing that lean he drifted toward Kurama's face. And he placed a quick peck on his nose and huffed a hurried "Race ya!"

The kitchen was like two feet away or something so it wasn't much of a race at all. Although he did have a small hop in his step as he made his way in there. And he was quick to check the oven before tugging out the cucumbers he'd pulled aside, dissected them, and tossed them into the pan sitting atop the stove. Butter and seasoning was added; salt and some lemon pepper.

Braised cucumbers would be the veggie that made their balanced meal. And he was sure to balance it. Because despite wanting to keep that moment from before he remembered quite clearly how good it would be for his boyfriend's recovery. As the pan warmed he turned to shine a silly smile on his foxy human.

"I am just as surprised as you. That is something you usually neglect; and yet, the evidence speaks otherwise," the fox assured in a warm purr as he helped pull the man up onto his feet. It was so tempting to just pull Yusuke back in so they could snuggle amongst the fluffy green fabric of his robe. Instead he followed the man into the kitchen on silent feet while correcting his robe a bit more; he'd been left quite disheveled after that display. Shuichi flinched slightly when cloth ran over the scabbed over bite, but the expression melted into utter delight. He loved when Yusuke marked him as his; and watching said demon practically bounce into the kitchen was more than enough to have him smiling.

The smell that drifted into the room when the oven was opened was mouthwatering. The former detective had cultivated his culinary skills well over the years. He knew his mother had been teaching him for years, and many of Yusuke's meals were on par with hers; and, while he'd never admit it out loud, there were a few dishes that outmatched Shiori's.

"Yusuke," he purred when the man turned to shine that brilliant smile his way. He slid close and touched his palms to the other's waist while nudging their cheeks together. "If you are conflicted on our positions," his words were teasing as he slid his hands over Yusuke's lower back. "I have no qualms over switching." Shuichi punctuated that statement with a firm grip, gaining himself two handfuls of muscular ass cheeks and using the hold to press them flush together. Kurama playfully growled against his lover's neck, a sound that wavered with laughter.

That silly smile he'd landed on him came with words. "Maybe it means I'm getting u--" Words that were curt off by a suddenly very curious ex deviant. He knew that look. 'used to it', he'd been about to say. Not that it mattered now. Wide chocolate eyes blinked several times as the fox swooped in on him.

He didn't have time to question it. A shiver rolled through him as warmth returned; a lot of it. It had to be perfectly obvious. He was so near melting at the reversal that was posed against him that a hot breath puffed from his chest. But then...

The tone should have been enough to tell him as much. But the growl that faltered due to laughter hit him even harder than the previous action against him. And whether it was due to the action itself or a sudden horrible upheaval of new embarrassment as he recognized he was being teaaed, a sharp flush draped over his face and a short, complaining whine bubbled from his chest. "No fair," he huffed, quickly turning back to his task of cooking. He would have hidden in Kurama's neck if he'd had the choice. But the high simmer of the stove wouldn't let him keep his attention away for long enough. And it only burned him deeper that he knew that Shuichi could see that horrible flush along with the pout that now accompanied it.

As was usually the case when such a thing happened, Yusuke's opinion on having his own 'stuff' turned against him did a giant flip. It so wasn't fair!

He didn't want to, but the fox released his lover from that hold to let him turn and tend to the food. "I could say the same to you," he countered, watching as that cute flustered face was taken out of view. It only took a few moments for him to hum a devious note and close the distance between them all over again. From behind Kurama nuzzled his nose into the former detective's neck and placed his palms right back over the powerful swell of Yusuke's backside. This usually was the other way around, but that didn't mean he couldn't find enjoyment in being the one to do the squeezing and groping.

"There is no need to be so shy," he cooed between light kisses to Yusuke's neck. "But I suppose, if you really want me to stop," his lips pressed along a long dead pulse point to the area behind an ear lobe. "All you would have to do is request it," his teeth scraped over thin skin. "And I would set you free." Careful nibbling and well trained suction tormented all the right spots while sharp, green eyes kept tabs on his lover's hands.

Shuichi inched back little by little, pulling the man away from the dangerous red hot eye of the stove. He rubbed his palms up and down over the muscled globes, memorizing the feel of them in his hands. Then, once he was sure Yusuke wouldn't be in harms way, a mischievous glint came to that emerald gaze, and his stroking hands became sharply pinching fingers. Kurama pinched straight through the man's pants to get a good grip on his ass. It only lasted a second, and the fox was stepping back with that perfectly innocent expression he'd mastered over the years. His hands clasped behind his back, his eyes looking up and to the side, and the tip of his tongue poking out of now kiss swollen lips.

Yusuke stirred and flipped the cucumbers as he'd known there was the need to. But a moment later he grew tense as his boyfriend pulled back up to him and went right on back to plying him with touches that were usually reversed. His neck was assaulted lightly; his ears not so much. There was no stopping the horrible embarrassment from creeping down his spine even worse for the teasing words. Just as their was not stopping thrilling shivers from doing the same.

The tensity slowly drew out of most of his body and soon had him leaning heavily against his mate as he melted. Shuichi knew all the right things to do to have that, and a heavy groan permeate the air surrounding him for the sharp spike in arousal the attention garnered. It was a horrible distraction but he was still doing his best to make sure he didnt spoil or burn their veggie. A shaky hand drew over and salted the crisping food as the other did it's best to keep up its stirring. It wouldn't be long at all before they were done. It was why he'd left it until now. They'd be nice and hot for when he pulled the chicken from the slowly cooling oven.

Forcing himself to think on the food in order to lessen the distraction wasn't helping. And he lost sight of it in yet another unavoidable move that had his eyes closing and his head tilting invitingly got more room for affection. He didn't notice. He also didn't notice when working hands had ceased their movement; or as he was backd away from the stove. Hell, he was even forgetting to be embarrassed. That was just how good his vixen was at stirring him up just right.

A low moan rumbled from his chest happily and he wouldn't have minded being lost to the world just a little longer. If only those hands were groping more than just his ass. It was a slow uptake but Yusuke's hands pulled back and fell behind him in an attempt to find his own grasp on the redhead. "That's--"

A sharp yelp cut him off entirely. It was just as sharp as that pinch and possibly more shocking than the sudden kisses he'd been faced with previously. "Dammit Kurama!" He managed the frustrated growl before needing to take the heavy breaths to calm himself in more ways than one.

Sizzling caught his ears and he was quick to shove the pan from hot burner over to cold, give it one last quick stir, and them turn on the redhead with that harsh, bubbly look if his. He knew he really didn't have much of a eight to get pissed off. And he knew he probably more than deserved the mean action...

Maybe that was why it was so easy for him to fall away from that bubbly glare of his even as he took a big breath to no doubt whine or holler at him in that exuberant way of his. What melted away that look wasn't the fox. It was what caught his eye as he turened. And that angry look morphed from harsh to somewhat mortified almost flawlessy as he stated over the redhead's shoulder.

The television was still in viewing range from the kitchen and dining room area. And it just so happened to be perfectly placed in just the right proximity to Kurama for the punk-looking kid of the movie's horrified expression to catch his attention. That wasn't what drew his own features into coming a little too close to matching though.

The 'creeped out', as that was the only way one could describe it, look that fell over Yusuke's face was for what he recognized the boy was reacting to. "You're sure This is a kid's show?" The adamant question sounded just as it looked as he watched horrifyingly mangled toys pop out of places, revolt, and all around attack with possessed head spinning action and all. "It's a freakin nightmare fest! What the Hell is this movie?!"

Of he'd ever considered there could be a cartoon horror movie he had to guess this would be it. Nearly every scene he'd actually watched hadn't been in context in the least. And for whatever reason he seemed to be only catching the worst possible scenes to take out of context; not that he realized as much. The only thing he could focus on after a moment was turning right back around toward the stove and quickly stooping to pull out the bulk of their meal.

No way was he gonna keep watching that shit. Someone was bound to be slaughtered by renegade toys any moment!

That yelp was worth it. There had been some rather enticing reasons to keep his touches sultry, but hearing his lover's response to the cruel pinching assured him that he'd made the right choice. The snapped curse of his demon name pulled the fox out of his innocent expression; because he suddenly needed to cover his mouth and bite down on an exuberant bought of laughter. His eyes were positively sparkling with mischief and amusement when Yusuke finally turned around to look at him.

If Yusuke's expression hadn't gone from funny to horrified, Shuichi would have been perfectly happy to kiss away the expected pout and possibly take care of that rowdy scent that he could just pick up over the aroma of cooking cucumbers; but it had, and the fox blinked curiously at his lover before turning to look over his shoulder and follow his line of sight. Then his snickering began anew. "Yes, I can assure you that this is a film intended for a younger audience. Though I can see your point." He watched the scene unfold for several moments and faced forward again to find Yusuke had returned to his cooking.

"We really should watch it from the beginning. It will make more sense that way." Stepping up again, Kurama nuzzled himself back into the crook of his lover's neck again and slipped his arms under Yusuke's. This time, the fox rested his hands harmlessly over the man's stomach and he refrained from growling or kissing. He was content with the simple contact, but would be willing to step back and away when ever it was needed. "Supper smells divine, Yusuke. You continue to out do yourself."

"No thanks," he huffed quietly, the slightest bit of attitude shoved in there for being laughed at again. Despite the creepy scene the chocolate eyed demon had in no way settled down. He'd get over the ugly shudder that roamed him soon enough. But it was sure to be replaced by a heated shiver. Like hed be able to focus on the movie like this. Now he had a bigger problem in his pants than he did on his plate... Which he wasn't gonna be able to reach very easily standing there leaning against the redhead.

But he couldn't help it. Even with the mean pinch the moment he felt him move closer he was drawn right back toward him. Honestly that pinch hadn't upset him nearly as much as he could make it seem. It probably showed now. But he was still glad arms wrapped around him securely instead. "Yer killin me man."

Still heated, there was no helping the stutter that almost seemed to drive through his veins. Pulse or no pulse he could still feel a happy flutter in his chest and stomach as Shuichi's warmth permeated the robe between them to offer such feelings. This guy was way too damn hard to be upset with. The praise he received over an untouched meal only made it harder; and caused some of that flush to return. "Yeah tell me that after the taste test," he chuckled out.

One hand cupped the ones holding on to him as the other went for the reach. He did move enough to grab the plates but wasn't willing to lose that warmth. In fact, when both hands weren't needed to dish those plates up it landed right back in that spit through a kind of need. The touch, the warmth, the near full body contact; yeah. He still needed that right now. Maybe for different reasons. But he wasn't willing to lose all of that until the plates were full and they would have to pull apart in order to sit and enjoy their meal.

A small, gleeful smile that held some pride of its own niggles its way onto his face as he found he'd made just enough food for perfect portions. Portions, as it so happened, were something he'd been working on lately. He had a problem with making too much or too little of one thing or another that ended up really confusing the meal sometimes. Especially when he cooked for more than just one or two. "Just enough." He couldn't help but mention it out loud for that pride in it before turning his head to look over his shoulder and find his foxy human.

It wouldn't work all the way in this position, but the movement was enough to signify his almost readiness to give up their closeness. "We should probably eat it while it's still hot." While excited to try it, he was reluctant for what he'd lose in turn. Reluvtance was what won out in his tone. So as he usually needed to, he now had to rely on his boyfriend to be the one to pull away so they could do that.

"While I believe that was an attempt to complain," he started, his words muffled against the man's neck. "I am not hearing one." The fox was clearly amused, and yet there was a husk to his voice that he couldn't shake away even if he wanted to. The thick musk of arousal that caressed his sense of smell had his eyes fluttering as he took in a long, deep breath through his nose. Long digits tickled over sturdy abs and a kiss was placed when Yusuke's pulse would have been pounding by his throat. "I will," he growled softly, a shiver rolling through his own body as his mind took a detour away from chicken and straight to another very tasty option.

Shuichi gave his boyfriend just enough, and only enough room to fix their plates. "I have no doubt that I will be showering you with praise," he paused to start another trail of kisses along the length of Yusuke's throat. "Over, and over," he nibbled at his ear. "And over again." He only stopped his advances when his lover tried to look back at him. The fox bit back a groan of want, and instead pushed their cheeks together in a childish nuzzle. "You're right," he admitted with a little reluctance... But not without a bit of fun to follow up.

When he leaned over to take his own plate, he gave Yusuke a flirty look and a sultry smile. "I apologize for leaving you wanting. I promise to make amends once we have finished our meal. Think of it as... dessert," he purred before pulling himself away from the warm body he wanted to wrap around. The fox occupied himself by gathering utensils before sitting at the table.

It was hard, but not as hard as before, to plate their dishes. He got it done thankfully. And he'd done a damned good job of holding himself back in the process too. All he really had to do to keep himself on task was remember that despite how much he was starting to want to play all kinds of fun games in the bedroom once again, Kurama still needed his 'recovery' meal. He'd been so good at it he even managed to make that comment about their food; though not so good that heavy shutters and huffy breaths hadn't left him for that attention. And he returned the childish nuzzle happily.

Chocolate eyes rounded a bit through a few blinks at the sultry tease he was offered. But instead of getting happy, embarrassed, or sultry right back, a frown touched his lips and his shoulders fell as he landed his face against a few fingers. "Aw maaaan." A deep huffpuff of disappointment came next. "I totally forgot about dessert."

That disappointment was short lived. "Oh!" The quiet little declination came with a realization that shouldn't have been needed. And that was when a sultry smirk crossed his face and turned on his mate. "I guess that doesn't matter now though. I'd totally would rather have you for dessert." That devious chuckle of his followed and he sat across from the redhead at the table.

Before they could dig in though he jumped back up. "Waitwaitwait! It's not ready yet!" He hurried back over to the counter and rummaged around in a drawer. Grabbing a small plate as he did his best to shield Kurama from viewing his deed he put the finishing touch on their meal. A flick of his lighter aaaand.... Turning around, he brought the small plate that held three lit tealight candles in a triangular order tp the table and set it between them. With that cheery, far too childish smile of his he gave it a happy nod after taking his seat again. "Perfect. Now let's hope the foods as good as it smells. That's be awesome." He chuckled giddily, possibly using the heavy noise as an attempt to cover up the color that had touched his cheeks again.

The fork and knife in his hands were set down and Shuichi gave his lover a curious look. He watch the man rummage around, and curiosity became recognition with the flicking on of the lighter. His expression became warm as the small plate was set on the table, and the fox watched the tiny flames dance on their wicks. An outsider might find the choice of tea candles to be strange, a date would usually consist of taper candles, but for Kurama they made perfect sense. They brought back images of careful touches and passionate embraces, and a first time that left him feeling warm and fuzzy all over again.

"I am sure it is," the fox stated, eyes finally pulling away from the flickering lights to land back up on his boyfriend along with a sweet smile. Kurama still had that placating smile that was reserved for the outside world, but it hadn't been settled on Yusuke in a long time. It took several seconds for his eyes to fall back down onto his meal.

The utensils back in his hands, Shuichi cut off the first of many bites and lifted the chicken to his mouth. He hummed in delight and hungrily, but politely devoured several more. "As expected, the chicken is perfectly baked and seasoned; moist and flavorful." Kurama continued to eat, picking at the cucumbers and potatoes with a composed eagerness. "The cucumbers are a bit... salty, but no less delicious for it; and the potatoes are just the right ratio of crisp and chew." Playful eyes searched for brown again. "As I said before. You have outdone yourself Yusuke."

He chuckled once more as he was assured of a taste that hadn't been tried yet. Acting on a ritual he didnt entirely recognize, yusuke lifted his utensils and peeked down on his food. It was perfectly likely the man would never grow 'proper' table manners. But to his merit along with learning to cook better he'd been slowly working at at least exuding some. While he would end up using the utensils, it was also likely he'd still be shoveling large bites of a mixture of everything once he inspected each item for himself. However; that ritual kicked in and he only stared at it for a long moment while listening to his boyfriend begin to pick apart his first bite.

Chocolate eyes snuck up to watch his reaction to the food rather than just hear that praise. He didn't like it when he was praised over something he'd done poorly. At least, not when he knew he had anyway. Usually Shuichi wouldn't do that. Sometimes he was overly critical about stupid small things that are at the man-boy bit by bit. But the honest attitude toward his work had been something he appreciated for a long, long time now. The redhead didn't preen, or pause, or show any of those very very subtle hints of his that he might try to hide in normal company.

And then came the praise. After watching the redhead try each thing he quickly moved back down to his own meal. Kurama may search for his eyes when he looked up, but as usual they were trained down on his own plate. It wasn't an attempt to hide that he'd been staring in wait. It was in recognition; in knowing from past experience that he wouldn't be able to look him in the eye long even if what he said weren't what yusuke was expecting after judging what he saw. And that was because, as he picked at his first few small bites himself, plenty of color that showed off the heat that permeated him over that praise rose to his face, neck, and chest. Vaguely he wished hed put on a shirt as well if only to be able to hide some of that flush of his. But it wpuldnt have mattered because a shirt sure as Hell wasnt going to hide the quickly spreading 'done good' grin of his that made it harder and harder to take the large bites he wanted to once he'd tested his food.

He didn't say anything back, simply nodding a bit shyly. Though his silence was nearly as exuberant as his yelling could be. When he took a bigger bite of cucumber he cringed himself. It was way salty. And on top of that, he'd also put way too much lemon pepper on it for his own liking. All he could think as he slid the portion away from his potatoes and chicken as not to contaminate them, was that it tasted like a crispy, slightly mushy lemon that had been dunked deep in salt and left sitting there. The cucumbers themselves were under cooked. But he'd done that on purpose. He didn't like them to lose their stuffiness and become too mushy. He couldn't stand the texture. And while other people tended to love his food when he cooked it, he still cooked that food to his own liking.

"Thanks," he finally mumbled between quarantining his cucumbers and taking his first large bite of chicken and potatos. Yeah. It was still pretty hard to chew with his mouth shut with that grin trying so hard to pull his mouth in a different direction.

He would never lie to Yusuke. If he didn't like the food he would politely tell him so; and he'd done just that in the past, even if it pained him to see the disappointed look on Yusuke's face. The following determination always made up for it; but it paled in comparison to the rare shyness his lover exuded under deserved praise. Kurama soaked in that flushed appearance, even pausing in his eating to watch the color spread from his cheeks to his ears and down over his chest through the parted robe.

After appreciating the view, Shuichi returned to his meal with delight. As he'd said, the cucumbers were salty, but he didn't notice the over use of lemon juice and ate them just as readily as he did everything else. Yusuke's table manners had long since been accepted, so they gave him no pause and the two ate in relative silence, the movie still playing and creating decent background noise.

Halfway through his chicken, the fox faltered. He rolled his shoulder and put down his fork to reach up and push the fluffy robe out of the way. The bite wound had been left unattended by the both of them, so the blood had crusted over and the punctures looked red and displeased. Gentle fingertips touched over them, but instead of flinching Shuichi smiled. "Do you know why you have the urge to bite me during out encounters?" He questioned simply. He hadn't meant to, but the memory of their scene in the shower had the words just sort of popping out. The surge of Yusuke's energy still gave him shivers, and he wondered just how much the human turned demon had learned during his time in the makai.

They had been so close... Yusuke had been seconds away from a demonic marking that would have been agonizing yet euphoric, and while Kurama was coming to the conclusion that it really was something he wanted, it would be dangerous for them to continue without Yusuke knowing what he was doing. It was a decision that should be made together, and probably not during a frenzy of sex, power, and love.

That happy silly look of his faded a little as he became more interested in his food. And it drew away completely as he reached under the robe to scratch his back and annoyance hit him. The stinging scratches kurama had left on him were beginning to itch as they healed. That wasnt what annoyed him though. That he was used to. But the slight loosening of the silky material had it sliding down over his shoulder. When he pulled it back up and went to tighten the robe again the shift only brought it back down again.

Kurama's robe was soft and silky, but his was warm and fuzzy. And he was being reminded of why he liked this sort of material a lot more when it was on his fox than when it was on him. There was a chance the loose fabric was catching on thise marks and making the itch worse. But if that were the case he didn't realize it. But anyway it was warm in the kitchen thanks to the oven and stove. And the heated shower along with the faint heat that still remained from happy embarrassment went a long way in keeping him that way anyway. So he set down his utensils and slipped the robe off. He was wearing pants. It was enough cover. Hell, with just the two of them there it was more than enough cover.

Reaching over to hang the robe on the chair next to him so he wouldn't forget to take it back up gave him the chance to see his boyfriend's movements from the corner of his eye. When slender fingers brought his attention to the wound he'd left on his mate in return for his own his chin lowered all over again and a far too childish look of guilt that often captured his features return to sit in them. "Does it hurt?" When he pulled his hands back up to the table they didn't grab for his eatery again. Instead they wrapped around the edge and fidgetted lightly as he peeked up at him from under his lashes with that guilty expression.

It wasn't just something he hated; hurting his boyfriend. He had a pretty well placed worry there too. Although he tried hard not to think about it and only make himself feel worse at the moment. "I'll tell you why," he offered lightly as that guilty look let up just a little. "But you gotta promise you won't laugh at me cause it's kinda hard to explain."

And that was another nice sight. The redhead allowed himself to be distracted by the removal of his own silky robe from Yusuke's body. The man was the epitome of eye candy, and Kurama made no effort to hide his addiction to it. In fact, the fox released an appreciative hum and even considered doing the same; but, if they were to have any chance at a conversation he would need to remain covered. The former king had no restraint when it came to the kitsune's naked form, and while said fox had no qualms about it, they really did need to focus.

"In a good way," he assured his guilty lover. "I have no complaints," and he didn't. Shuichi loved to be marked as Yusuke's, it gave him a special sort of fuzzy feeling after the fact, and exhilarating feeling during. "You have my word," he assured, because he knew why the man had such an urge, so he was more than interested in how Yusuke perceived it without any instruction. "I will not laugh at you."

"Kay," he huffed lightly as he placed a squinty eyed pout on the redhead. "You said it, so don't forget." To be perfectly honest he could understand many of the times that promise had been made and broken. Yusuke had a lovely skill with words. But he also had a horrible lack with them. And sometimes the way he explained things was absolutely ridiculous and deserved a hefty chuckle if not more.

But when it came to hurting his not-so-delicate human Yusuke was almost always serious. Almost. Right now represented the greater portion of that. He didn't know exactly how to describe it. But he'd wondered the same thing several times in the past; every time he'd done it actually. Though guilt and a heavy embarrassment for doing something so easy with little or no control had stopped him from bringing the subject up with the redhead. Actually, they hadn't talked about it at all. And now that he realized that he wondered why it was. Kurama was a curious creature by nature. Biting into his flesh sharply enough to leave a bleeding wound seemed like a thing that should probably have gathered a lot more attention than it had now that he was thinking about it clearly.

A quick shake of his head had him clearing it of all the oddities and questions that suddenly popped into his mind. It wouldn't do him any good in trying to focus on explaining this. When he landed his sights back on forest eyes the curious stare that was reflecting back on him warmed him up in yet another way. It was nice. And it tugged a little at serious lips to start to pull them into a smile. But he looked away quickly. With what he had done and the probably crappy explanation of it he just sorta didn't feel like he deserved that warmth right at the moment.

Staring down at his half eaten meal the corners of his mouth tugged again; down this time. It wasn't a full frown but for his usually carefree silly demeanor it probably might as well have been. "I really don't like hurting you," he offered in a soft tone comparatively speaking to his norm. Not that his redhead didn't know as much but it fed to the point. "But sometimes when we fool around I get really excited."

He paused thoughtfully got a moment and then broke into that crooked smirk of his that was only a little softer than usual as he looked back up at him. "Well I mean obviously I get pretty excited every time we fool around." It was followed by that cheeky chuckle of his that cut short when he realized he was about to throw himself off track already. "Uh..." A bit of that heat from earlier returned and this time avoidance landed his sights on that robe as he continued to fidget and tug at the table's edge a little.

Okay. There was no need to be all wordy about this. It didn't have to come out all fanciful or well placed like he usually tended to work at. He'd warned him already it'd be hard to find the words so all he needed to do was.come out with it. "Alright, so when I get a little too excited I guess I sorta get the urge to hurt you even though it don't wanna... Mnn. No." He shook his head and chocolate eyes landed on emerald gems once again to ground himself. "Not hurt you. Bite you. But I know it's gonna hurt..." He lifted his fork and poked at his food a bit, the quiet tune in his voice growing toward it's norm the as he looked at him while owning up to this odd thing.

"So but, even though I know it's gonna hurt I really really feel like I need to do it anyway." Come on. Get to the why already. Why did he feel like he'd been explaining this for ages already? He'd only said a few sentences really. "I think it's cause it's sorta like if I don't do it, then it's gonna hurt even worse." Dammit. He was right. That didn't really make sense at all. Neither did the fact that even though that was exactly what it felt like (amoung a few other, smaller things), he couldn't place exactly who he felt like it was going to hurt more if he didnt. Not even when he had the feeling.

Nope. It didn't make sense. And now that he'd tried he was pretty sure he wasn't going to be able to say it in a way that did make sense. "Mph. N-nevermind," he offered with a heavy sigh as he looked back down at his food and continued playing with it. "I don't think I can actually explain it right." Here he'd asked and everything. And yusuke didnt have a thing for him on it.

The issue with this, the one he didnt realize was there, waz that he misunderstood the question to begin with in thinking that Kurama was genuinely asking him why he did it and not asking if he actually knew about the instinctual need. Because he neither knew or understood that it could be an instinctual need. He simply figured it was just one of those certain ways in which he was 'screwed up' as they now lovingly called it. "But, I mean..." He peeked up at him again. The beautiful, tolerant man sitting across from him had said he liked it but if there was even a little chance he was saying that for Yusuke's sake he wanted it to be perfectly clear. "I can stop doing it," he told him in a tone that was supposed to sound a lot more definitive than it did. At least, he thought he might be able to.

He was told often enough that he needed to practice better self control. Doing that in order not to hurt Shuichi should definitely be within the realm of possibility. There were other things he managed to avoid in that sense. So why not this?

The explanation was hard to listen to. With every fumble Shuichi wanted to stand up from the table and pull his lover into another fluffy embrace; but he waited patiently. With his meal forgotten, the fox rested his elbows on either side of the plate and rested his chin on laced fingers. His eyes were cool and calm to assure the man that he was listening carefully to his words, and he did so quietly until the final statement. "Don't stop," he answered with a hint of desperation that he quickly reigned in.

Shuichi cleared his throat and sat up a little straighter, scooting his chair in closer to the table in order to do so. "What you are feeling is perfectly natural." His tone was firm in its attempt to reassure his lover. "Demons are possessive creatures by nature, as you are aware," he said simply, flippantly. Yusuke already knew that, but it was an important point in this conversation. "Biting me in such a manner is something most sentient creatures do to their partners in the Makai." Shuichi paused as he looked over his lover, and the calm collection melted into something loving and wanting. It lasted for several long moments before he sucked in a breath and shook his head to return to himself. He could get lost in his desires later.

"What you are doing is marking me as yours," he continued in his collected, teaching tone. "This mark is meant to ward off other suitors, it tells them that I am already taken and any attempts to coerce me into bedding them, consensually or non, will likely end poorly; and while I am perfectly capable or taking care of myself..." The fox couldn't stop the pure adoration that soaked into his voice. "Having your mark gives me a sense of safety. It is a sign of your devotion to me, that you are willing to fight to keep me, an assurance that you want me. It is a carnal, feral desire; and it would pain me greatly if you stopped."

Another pause; this time to reach out a hand in search of Yusuke's. "Do not feel guilt over this pain. It is something I desire just as strongly as you do, if not more. In fact..." Shuichi stopped mid sentence, his mouth open to speak but no words forming. Yusuke looked so distraught about causing him this much pain, how could he possibly ask for more? Soft lips pursed together and his hidden teeth worried the inside of his cheek. "Do you remember," he blurted, then hesitated. Well now he had to finish. "In the shower, your energy spiked and you stopped biting my shoulder? Why did you pull away?"

Chocolate eyes lost in thought as he looked for words despite his defeat came back to themselves and rounded a bit. He gave the fox a questioning look, the thoughts that flew through his mind a bit silly. 'Don't stop? But I really don't have the words to-- Oh. He didn't mean--Ohhhh! Right. Duh' And once again heat cruelly marred him. Why did he feel like Shuichi had just been able to hear those ridiculous thoughts? He probably just needed to stop thinking.

In order to do so he'd need to listen. And in order to listen he'd need to do so. It was a good thing. And that stern-not-stern look that screamed 'I'm listening' plastered itself over his face as he sat himself up and his fork down. As Kurama went on to explain this need he had.

It was natural. It was a common practice(in the demon realm). It was a way to let people know his fox was his fox. It was something kurama enjoyed.

It was something that made him feel safe, a desire, would hurt more if he didnt do it... That he wanted more of.

Actually the guilt had slid from his face a bit ago to fit on that ridiculously serious look of his. But the more Kurama spoke the less guilty he felt. And not just because that shy, harsh embarrassment started blanketing him again. But definitely because what was replacing it was a fast growing want, need, to march on over and do it all over again just to fulfill the desire his lover was talking about. Well, maybe it was just his own desire getting the better of him. Damn was the room heating up. Amd was he a milliom times better at explaining things than Yusuke, or what?!

Sharp focus that had just begun narrowing his pupils as he shifted from staring at to staring down his fox was wiped away quickly. Just before that change in him had hit he'd been posed with a question. The change in focus had him blinking widely at the redhead before tilting his head and forcing his mind to go over the last few words he'd said.

Why had he stopped? Well... sure, why not? Even though his explanation from before hadn't made sense to him at the time it turned out it actually did make sense. So even if he didnt understand exactly how this one worked maybe Kurama would get that too. "Cause," he told him solidly, falling away from his quiet demeanor and allowing allowing himself to take in every viewable inch of his fox as far as the table so inconveniently placed between them would allow. It landed on the mark he'd left just near his throat and he found himself having trouble pulling it back over to land it on the forest just above that was waiting for him to finish his response.

He tore his attention away and placed it back on those emerald pools. "Because I got a really bad feeling. It was a surge of... everything . Feelings, wants, possessiveness," he started. He understood the feeling of possessiveness well now. He used to explain it almost as awkwardly as this had been so far. "And not just that stuff. My energy too. The power startled me though. It was crazy strong. Maybe even stronger than anything else of all this weirdo stuff that keeps happening to me. And so I got a really bad feeling, like I said. I felt like if I didn't stop biting you right now something really bad was gonna happen to you."

This 'weirdo stuff', of course, referred to the insane changes that had occurred in him since inheriting his lack of humanity. Another phrase that had become the affectionate use over time.

Yusuke sucked in a breath and puffed it out heavily, but smoothly. His tone for the following words came out a bit muted and fully mocking toward himself. He was pretty bad at guessing this stuff right. "So let me guess. It wouldn't have been such a bad thing, right? It was just another thing that's supposed to be natural and you woulda been just fine." He chuckled lightly and looked down at the table. He was surprised to find that their hands were together and fingers had twined gently. He had no idea that he'd put his hand out automatically the moment Kurama's reached out toward him. It showed too. But he turned his attention back up to Kurama again, pretty sure it would be time to listen again any moment... if talks like these in the past were any indication anyway.

If Kurama were an impulsive man he would have whined at that predatory look Yusuke was giving him. He would have tilted his head to further expose his throat. He would have shrugged off his robe and offered himself to that hungry gaze; but he didn't. Instead he suffered through his desire with a careful, calculated poise; and listened once more to find his earlier thoughts to be correct. Yusuke stopped, in order to keep him safe. It was a warming thought, but one that also created a small amount of distress. He kept that to himself.

"That is not entirely true," Kurama admitted with a small amount of reluctance. "I would be fine but... Only eventually." The fox paused to collect his thoughts and consider his words. He thought of ways to soften the information so it would be easier to convince his lover to follow through, but that wouldn't be fair. In the end, the blatant truth was best. "That surge of energy would have been transferred into my body through your bite. It is a more permanent form of marking, leaving traces of your energy mingling with my own for a lifetime." And he wanted it. He hadn't realized it until that moment, until he felt Yusuke's spirit and demon energy so close to his own. The thought made him shiver, it made his fingers squeeze against his lover's tightly. "No matter how far apart we are, I would feel you with me; however, that comes with a price." Shuichi stopped and cleared his throat before continuing. "I have not experienced it before myself, but from what I understand it is an excruciating experience. I have seen powerful demons writhe in agony only to be left bedridden for days; though, I have also seen demons recover within a day. In either case, the initial bite is always agonizing."

The fox sighed softly and looked up and away from his lover. "It was something I never understood. Aside from the pain it marks one as property. A bite means I belong to someone and only temporarily. That bite would mean I belong to Yusuke Urameshi." It was finally his turn to gain that color and shyness his boyfriend had been exuding so far. "That bite... Would mean you own me; and I have never understood such a want... Until now."

When Shuichi looked back at the man across from him, it was through thick lashes and with an incredibly submissive posture. "I would not mind being owned by you, Yusuke Urameshi."

He was kinda glad to know his senses were still on track considering what he felt. But the silly smile that had come along with the joke at his own expense slid from his face as Kurama continued. So he'd be okay, but only eventually. Of course he realized before he said as much that it meant he wouldn't be initially. His own grip coiled tighter as it was turned on him.

A frown slowly replaced the straight face as the details of this 'price' were brought in to light. However. It was definitely more thoughtful than upset. And to be honest it was mostly due to the fact that despite what was being said about the pain it would put his redhead through he was still wanting to do it more and more as he talked.

By the end of his explanation heat had returned to a previously settled face. A lot of it. Kurama would be happy to be owned by him...at least, that was what he heard and saw over what was said. It brought about a hungrily possessive feeling to ring through his veins. This was something he recognized as part of what he'd been feeling in the shower just before letting go of the grip his teeth had; just before that bad feeling. The warning sign he'd received for his want earlier almost felt unfair.

It had stopped him from giving Kurama something that it seemed like he really wanted. But he hasn't recognized that want then... At the same time he was also glad for it. If he hadn't pulled away and had simply done this without the self control he'd exibited... "I'm glad," he told him candidly. "I'm glad I had enough sense to pull away before."

He could easily imagine how the scenario could have turned out. How horribly he would have felt and the regret that would hit him for doing such a thing without this understanding. A small nod hit his head as he reassured himself that he actually was glad about that. "But at the same time as it sounds really sucky, it sounds really nice too," he added through an extra nod.

His free hand lifted and covered the two clinging together so adamantly as he turned his attention just as strongly into those forest eyes. "I definitely wanna put a mark like that on you. The way you say it, it's sorta like when humans get married, right?" He faltered a bit, but forced himself not to look away. "But atbthe same time I really don't wanna hurt you like that. This sounds like it would be way more permanent than a ring after all. And that part I don't have any problem with. I've told you that you're stuck with me forever now and I meant that..." But he had an idea. One that might make this whole thing in general more tolerable.

"So a propose an optimum." Ultimatum. Although the other word fit if not for the tense it had been put in. "Cause even though I would love to tell the world who it is you belong to, I want them to be able to see something else too." His smile returned, warm and brimming with affection this time. "Cause it ain't just you that belongs to me. I want everyone to know that I belong to you too. So If I'm gonna do this, you gotta be willing to do it right back." Not 'right back' as in right away. But he could assume Kurama caught on to what he meant. He was pretty damned good at that.

The fox looked from the brown eyes boring into his own, down to their clasped and now covered hands, and back up again as excitement built in his chest. He'd expected to have to talk his lover into it, to convince him that a few hours or even days of pain was worth a lifetime of comfort and bliss. To hear him say that is 'sounds really nice, too' was enough to have his heart thudding heavily in his chest. Apparently, it also caused him to hold in a long breath, because the moment Yusuke admitted to wanting to mark him Shuichi exhaled, the air hot and heavy. "A bit like that, yes," he answered. The likeness to marriage had not gone unnoticed by him either, and that caused a whole new flutter of emotions that he put of until later.

"Ultimatum," he couldn't help but correct. Doing so wasn't just for the sake of correcting his partner and helping him climb that non-existent cliff he'd spoken about earlier. It was a compulsion that the fox had that wasn't likely to go away any time soon. It was similar to his issue with ornaments on Christmas trees. He'd even made such corrections when the fate of the world had been at stake. That didn't mean Kurama wasn't focused intently on Yusuke's words, however. Quite the contrary, in fact.

Shuichi felt a wave of possession of his own, though it was likely less potent than Yusuke's. His own demonic aura had been dampened over the years, but that didn't take anything from his desire. He released a low growl and his lips parted only a fraction, but enough to show the white of his teeth. "And it is one I accept. It would be my honor, to mark you as mine." In fact it looked as if the fox were willing to spring across the table and start work on that 'ultimatum,' but he kept himself in check. Shaking his head he cleared his expression as well as his throat. "However, this is something you should carefully consider. I know forethought isn't your strong suit, but when it comes to matters such as these it is critical."

His free hand met with the pile of limbs so they held both of each other's hands. "When your energy spiked in the shower I felt a desire so strong it was painful, and I knew there was nothing I wanted more then for you to sink your teeth into my flesh and brand me as yours. I knew the pain it would bring, but in that moment I also knew it would be euphoric. I want you to have the same experience. I want you to become so utterly mine that you need my energy coursing within your own. You must know for sure, that this is truly what you desire." Through his explanation, Shuichi's eyes never left his lover's face, so he could commit his expressions to memory.

He didnt mind being corrected. As usual hed attempted to speak over his own head and it had turned out wrong. At least, that's what he gathered. He wanted to ask what the difference was, as was also a norm by now, but the response that was tossed at him after that correction had him stopping. Because suddenly there was no way he was willing to take their words off the subject at hand.

Kurama was basically saying that he wanted to go ahead and get married right? In this demonic way anyway. It made him want to think on it more; want to veer off into his own line all over again even though he didnt want want to. So he couldnt help but be grateful, even as it drew a slight meekness into the humid stare he was returning, that Kurama's hungry gaze kept him stuck on the conversation. He really did ground him so well.

When the 'however' was released though he couldn't help but automatically feel himself dipping into disappointment. If the fox were deny him for some reason despite the obvious want over the gesture he probably would have been devistated. So how glad was he that he just seemed to be getting a small lecture on his overt obliviousness instead? An amused smile drew across his face heavily enough to crease his eyes. It was pretty funny even though it was totally true. His knowledge of that fact kept him from pulling that smile into something sheepish too.

His attention drew down to the touch, looking over theinhands curiously before catching on the admission he was openly being provided with once again. His boyfriend really was on a kick with that tonight. He really liked it. And he also really liked the way he described how much he wanted this from Yusuke.

Except maybe the branding part. It brought about a silly question as well as a dumb, but kinda cute image of the two of them as cattle. He scrubbed it away quickly with a heavy closing of his eyes and a deep breath that was let out when they landed back on his lover. "Ya know," he mentioned lovingly in that teasing tone of his. "For such a smart guy, sometimes little things you say sound pretty dumb." It wasn't all of it. And as it was a tease, his expression was jovial as he chided it.

But it drew back into that seriousness quickly and his eyes landed down on their hands again. More specifically, they landed on Kurama's ring finger. It really was too bad he hadn't been able to get a ring for it yet. He'd been so busy working at finding just the right way to propose in the human way that he hadn't gotten around to it. Damn. His attention shifted back up and landed on those pretty gem eyes all over again after raking over the bite wound he'd left previously. "Well," he added lightly. "You know what I mean." He chuckled lightly. Because he obviously planned on explaining that.

Secretly Yusuke had been seeking out advice on the perfect proposal. Before returning to the human world he'd come to the decision that he didnt ever want the possibility of them being apart for so long to happen ever again. And upon his return marriage was what he'd come up with. Of course there were a million more reasons than that, but that was what had started it. How come no one ever told him the perfect opportunity could totally just present itself out of the blue without all this plotting and planning?... although he wasn't sure if this would be perfect or not anyway. Or if his boyfriend was even interested in--Nah. Surely he'd be even more interested in something like that, right? His deep seeded want for everything human probably included it.

After adding to his joke his head tilted just a bit. This was even more though; what they were talking about now. And he really did want it pretty bad. And he dove right into that explanation of bis. "You gotta know by now I need you in just about every way possible, right?" That was for the teasing part. Because he knew his redhead hadn't meant that in such a roundabout way.

"Why does it have to be something I have to think so hard about?" The addition came out in that serious tone that his face had pulled into previously. He didn't notice that he'd started petting at the fox's ring finger as he spoke. "We've been together for a long time, ya know? Or maybe it hasn't been that long. But it feels like forever. And it's probably because we been through so much together in that time. We've been intimate," Really intimate; pretty quickly too. "We been separated more than once for a lot of reasons, pitted against each other, had to hide and sneak around just to get time together in this world and the Makai..." He huffed a warm sigh. "I bet I could go on and on but since that isn't the point I'll get to it."

Petting finger ceased it's movement and landed it's gentle grip back in place under the one still capping it as chocolate eyes melted and beamed their warmth heavily toward his foxy human. "The point is that everything we been through hasn't even come close to making my feelings about you change." A small shake of his head as he rethought that didn't change the look in his eye. "Actually that's not true. Cause no matter what's happened I just keep loving you more and more every day. When I wake up with you in my arms in the morning I get to fall in love with you all over again. And when we go to sleep the same way at night I don't want anything but to be as close to you as possible." He realized as he was talking that a need had hit him. It had made him reach out in search of the energy his other half exuded so he could feel exactly what he was wanting right then.

That warmth melted away the rest of that serious look of his and simply made it soft as he gazed at his mate. "This thing would do that, right? We'd be closer than we ever been before even if we were a million miles apart. I want that," he told him. "It's not just about needing it. Just now I could tell. I wanted it so bad that I could practically taste it for a second. Honest."

The warmth and comfort emitted from his features drew back a little. And they pulled back because an unsure, questioning look took it's place as he thought about what Jed just said. Not because it was in any way inaccurate. But because he just didn't know if... "Isn't that enough? Do i really need to think on it so much more?" He was willing too if he did, but he didnt exactly understand why he should. Because it was more than a need. The need was there for sure. But... There was just more. But now that he'd rambled on about that, he wasn't sure if he'd gotten off track or answered the wrong question entirely. Because there hadn't actually been a question posed in what was said to him.

The tease had Shuichi puffing at him in one of his many purely human expression. It exuded offense, and at the same time assured the former detective that there was none. The fox had gotten used to, and had come to enjoy those 'you're real smart, but can be real dumb' moments. They started to make him feel that it was alright not to be perfect. Just one of the countless reasons he loved this man. The slight puff of his cheeks deflated and emerald eyes flickered back down to their hands. First Yusuke mentioned marriage, and now he was petting over his ring finger like... No, he had to be putting connections and dots where there were none. The comparison was valid and the placement of the caress was only a coincidence.

Kurama returned his gaze to his boyfriend's quickly enough to hopefully avoid detection; and the thoughts of anything outside of this one important conversation melted with his heart. He loved this man. Dear Inari he loved this man. So much so that his throat clenched, his eyes burned and the usually well spoken fox was left unable to speak for seconds longer than he'd like. The easy answer was 'no.' They were so deeply in love with each other it was sickening. They both desired a closeness that could be given with a mating bite, and it would be so easy to just...

"Yes," he answered with a strain. "Yes this bite could give us that," he elaborated, forcing his throat to relax so he could speak more clearly. "And yes, you do need to think on it. Even if only for a few days, doing so would put my mind at ease." When had his grip on Yusuke's hands become so painfully tight? "I belong to you, and you belong to me. With or without this mark that fact will remain true for as long as I have breath in me, and I am sure you feel the same. But, there is a strong difference between belonging to someone, and being owned by someone. Making the decision to become property is not something that should be done over dinner, and neither should the decision to turn me into your property be." A huff of laughter left his nose. His next blink was slow and purposeful. "I suppose that makes me sound like a hypocrite, with how quickly I agreed to return the favor. I should think on it more as well, despite what I want so desperately."

It was no secret that Yusuke was a rash man; even to himself. But just because he didnt know about this thing ten minutes ago and really really wanted it now didn't mean it fell under that, did it?... regardless he did want it. And he could tell that even If he were given a few days to make sure his answer wasn't going to change. And whether or not it was because was already so ready to propose didn't have anything to do with it.

Did it?

Still, that pour he'd perfected so well years ago pursed his lips and put that far too childish look on him. He wanted to argue. He wanted to be able to explain just how adamant he was about this. And he wanted to make it clear that he wouldn't be changing his mind. But at the same time he got the feeling that he really shouldn't push this too much. Yes he was a little over elated about how close this was to the thing he already wanted so badly. And yeah, he could kinda see why it wasn't the best idea to just suddenly decide he wanted something he knew little more than nothing about. But he was also really excited to learn about this thing that wasn't a thing until now.... And he was really really close to making a full circle in this and begin to complain heartily.

He could tell. So he took another breath.

Capped hand was shaken loose. He pushed the plate holding the candles even closer to Kurama's, nearly touching the sides. And then he pushed his own plate into the empty space next to him. Without loosening the laced fingers that were still together he rose and sidestepped his way over to that chair in a silly way that was all his own before taking his seat. Now seated next to each other he tilted his attention up the small way thay was needed for the new angle. The pout had left his face in his movement for the silly one that hax taken its place for the awkwardness of the move. But it drew into a rare but not sternness as he regarded him.

"Okay," he conceded graciously. Of course, that simplicity was rarely ever enough for Yusuke when his brain was in proper gear. "I really wanna have this with you. And I already know sitting on it ain't gonna change my mind," he told him seriously. "But okay."

A warm smile bloomed brilliantly over his face and only added to his assurance. And, seated a bit sideways in his chair as he was, he sat up and leaned forward to steal a peck from the corner of his lover's lips as well. To the outside world it may seem ridiculous that Yusuke literally had to 'put on' his serious face for others to know he wasn't taking something lightly; something big like this anyway. But it has been a common practice for him for ages. Because most people had difficulty believing he could honestly take anything seriously.

That carefree nature of his could only get him, and only went, so far. However after a small pause that had him remaining in that position just long enough to rake over close up, soft features he sat back down normally in that chair and his expression changed yet again. Yusuke had always been quite expressive. What touched his face now was bubbly curiosity for a question that had come up in his mind. He had no problem asking it. "But does that mean we're gonna wait for me to do it to you too?" Was that also something he needed to 'sit on' and allow to sink in? The logic of it was sound, but it brought about a disappointment he couldn't quite describe to himself. Because that was also a thing that hadn't been a thing until now. And even though he could tell he wouldn't change his mind on that either, he already had a feeling he knew what the right answer for that was too.

It kinda sucked.

Shuichi was happy for the change in position. He scooted his chair a little closer to Yusuke's so their arms could touch while resting. "Thank you," he breathed when his lover relented. It really was a decision that needed to be taken seriously, and even if his answer wouldn't change no matter how long he sat on it, the reasonings behind it might. Taking the time to consider his options could very well make that joining even stronger. He hummed and shut his eyes with a silly smile at the quick peck, and the fox turned his head to capture Yusuke's lips for a brief kiss. He would have been happy to make it more, but he knew that face, and he was more than willing to answer any and all questions his lover had.

Green eyes went wide for half a second, and color returned to his cheeks. He didn't want to wait... He'd be happy to work Yusuke back into a frenzy to mark him here and now; but that wouldn't exactly be practical. "For a little while," he answered smoothly while turning his head to touch his nose to the other's cheek in an affectionate poke and nuzzle. "To do so right at this moment would force a pause in our current plans; and, perhaps it is a bit selfish, but," he searched out those lips for a nice, long embrace with his own. "I am not willing to stop our experimentations just yet. We have not even gone through the entire bag of toys."

Shuichi chuckled softly as he sat up straight again. "Do you think you could wait at least until then?" The smile one his face was a little more than teasing. "I know it must be such a burden."

He could tell. Even if it was just for a flash of a second he could tell that Kurama liked the idea of having to wait about as much as he did; which wasn't at all. He couldn't help but lean in to every touch, nuzzle, and any other affection that was showered on him. They stopped that rowdy pout of his from perfecting that pathetic look of his. In fact they managed to keel his face calm in general despite the sinking feeling being asked to wait even more pulled through him; like less in the belly.

Kurama ended with a tease. But before that he was given a lengthy, lovely kiss. And melting into that was so so much easier right at the moment. It pulled an appreciative hum from him even with that sinking feeling. He supposed he could understand that lind of selfishness though... But at the same time thinking that way might put it off a lot longer than what was being said now.

The tease came, and he simply couldn't help himself. Of course he had to return it. He picked up Shuichi's hands in his own and leaned forward in a flop to nuzzle his cheek against his fox's breast. "Yeesh~" He only didn't find the crook of his neck because he wanted him to be able to see that teasing pout on his face as he whined, "It is, it iiiiiis," out pathetically.

When he sat up a little to give that bubbly pout of his up at him from the still lowered position as those hands loosened and rough fingers spread over his chest there was no hiding the smile still playing in his eyes. "And you know the more I think about it the more I realize that we sure do end up doing things 'your way' a whole Hell of a lot more than we do them 'my way'." He huffed, those fingers sliding upward as they spread over his chest only to slowly come back together to land in a coil over his shoulders. I'm startin ta get the feelin something funny's goin on here." He gave him a snubby huff, lifting his nose and turning his face away as he gave off the snobbiest air he could muster. "I don't think it's very fair."

He held the pose for a long moment but there was no keeping it that way in an attempt.mto garner a 'guilty' response from his fox in making it better he couldn't hold it long enough for that. "The more I try to figure, the less sense that makes." Instead those fingers spread once again. They pushed forward and slithered their way right over his shoulders and down his back slowly. The movement brought Yusuke closer and closer until they were barely a kiss apart. A sly smirk had curled his lips and sultry brown eyes were peeking down on his lips pretty heavily. But they flicked back up to look through the forest in his mate's eyes after a few moments. "I'm thinking you might need to make something up to me," he purred out heatedly. "Whadda you think?"
