What cannot be lost (me and Anjeru)

She stretched out next to him and smiled. After a moment, she stood up out of the bed and pictured herself herself in a long, almost medievil, sort of wiccan, long-sleeved black dress. She walked to her dresser and pulled out a necklace and head dress(basically, her original character picture). "Let's go see Alexander, we can talk to him some about what I've witnessed and about putting you on patrol with me. Sound good?" she asked, turning to face him again.

He nodded at her response, standing up and stretching more. Seeing her attire, he closed his eyes. The pants disappeared, to be replaced with a black shirt and pants, and a cloak. He seemed to be getting the vampire side down well. "Let's go." He said softly, moving close to her.

"Now, remember, when we go see Alexander in his personal company, it's polite to go dressed well. It's respectful, at least I believe so," she said with a small smile. She led him out of th room and back to the main hall. When there, they ascended the steps to the main council room. Creed was there, but he was forced to keep his tongue with Alexander present. Both Vampires and Lycans of high power were seated within the room.

Ravalyn approached where Alexander and his Lycan mate sat at the head of the council. She bowed politely. "M'lord Alexander, I wish to seek private audience with you for council," she requested, sending a meaningful glance over at Creed who she knew shouldn't be involved in the discussion because he was still bitter of her. She glared at him a moment as he bristled, then turned her gaze back to Alexander.

Raziel followed her, taking heed of her words. Well, this was the most formal clothing that he knew of. Hell, it was near enough to what Alexander was wearing when he first saw him. But they went up to the council chambers in silence. It wasn't long before they were in front of the whole council. Raziel shied behind Ravalyn as he felt all those eyes on him. He knew that they all could rip him apart in a instant, or, worse, throw him back into stasis, away from her.Alexander listened to her request, and nodded, standing. He bent down to whisper something to his lovers ear, before leading them out of the council room.

"I suppose Raziel want's action." He said, the moment the council door was closed and he turned to them. "I suppose I could let that happen, but... you have to be extremely careful, Ravalyn. We cannot let him come to harm..."

And at that, there was a knock on the Council door.

(I just got another idea for plot XD)

She followed with, expecting Raziel to follow her. She listened and nodded her head. "Nothing too out there, m'lord. I've witnessed a great deal of Raziel can do. I figured we could start him off easy and have him go on my patrols with me," she explained softly, respectfully. She glanced back at the sudden knock on the door and looked back to Alexander. "Someone seeks enterance m'lord. If it is important, I suppose I could talk with m'lord later..." she trailed off, looking at him expectingly.

Alexander turned his head at the knock, nodding at her words, before waving her off. "We were in the middle of a important meeting. But you have my acceptance." He opened the door, pushing Creed out of the way before closing it behind him.

Raziel watched Alexander leave before turning his head to Ravalyn. "I can go!" He smiled brightly, moving and giving her a deep kiss. "I'm sure nothing bad will happen."

Ravalyn nodded her head and bowed it politely as Alexander left them, mumbling a soft apology for having interrupted their meeting. She melted into Raziel's arms as he kissed her, wrapping her arms around his neck to kiss him softly again. "I'm sure it will be fine," she said with a smile, "it is only patrols. Nothing huge has happened lately...well, except for having to chase you." She chuckled and nipped his lip. "Though, that turned out to be the best thing for all of us."

He blushed at her first words, nipping back at her lip. Yes, it was a bad thing for him to have ran off like he did, but he couldn't have taken captivity like that. And it did work out, it made another couple for the Vampires and Lycans. It was momentous, even if he wasn't the only Hybrid. Her next words was exactly what he was thinking. "Should we get going?" He said, smiling at he nipped at her lip.

His mind reached out, and within moments his katana was at his side, fixing itself into his belt. "I won't be too much of a hassle, I promise."

She nodded her head and after a moment, she was wearing the leather jumpsuit she had chased him down in and her boots. She left the necklace on and the hair piece, before tying her hair up into a sort of messy knot on her head, random strands falling to frame her face. Her celtic broadsword felt good in her hannd and she smiled, sliding it into the sheath that now lay on her hip. 'Come on, then," she said, using the fast vampire flitting to end up outside the compound. Once there, she stopped and faced him. "Now, all we're doing is patrolling the grounds. The perimeter, keeping any unauthorized person from the mansion, the compound. And we're not the only supernatural creatures, either. Though, stronger than most others. Sometimes we get human, or otherwise, wandering here. We just got to keep the grounds safe."

He flittered to the outside with her, close on her heels. He stopped and listened, nodding to her words. He started walking around the near outside perimeter with her, keeping his eyes open. They had to be careful, or...

His head turned, snapping to look at his far right. He thought he heard something... But then the sound was gone. So he shrugged it off, until he heard it again. He turned his body now, looking towards the forest. Everything seemed to get quiet, very quiet...

A black puddle appeared from the shadow of the nearby bush grove that was at the base of the trees. But it was moving fast, more towards the open. Raziel turned his head towards Ravalyn, but it looked like she couldn't see it, even if she was looking pretty much right at it. He turned his head back to it, then took a step back, as the world flashed in a bright light for a moment, at least to him. He seemed to remember something about this thing...

Something rose from the black puddle... no, it was the black puddle. It grew out, gaining red eyes that pierced through him. The quintpedal (5, i know it isn't a word) creature was staring right at him, and Raziel growled as he lowered himself a little to the ground. His fingers extended long, sharp, strong claws, much like a lycan would. The thing lowered itself as well, before jumping towards him. Raziel rolled to his side, taking a swipe, hearing the cry out from it. He tried to claw at him with a fast swipe to the side, but he was able to jump over it, stabbing the main body with his claws and backing off, leaving a bloodless wound on it.

Meanwhile, Ravalyn would be seeing him fighting with air, it would seem.

Ravalyn was walking along a bit, just studying the treeline and the wide area around them. The blizzard had long dissipated but there was still a great deal of snow on the ground. Considering the council and the compound resided within the mountians, this really wasn't out of the ordinary though. She was about to turn and pace back the other way when Raziel seemed to well...almost lose it. He was moving around and transforming his hands into weapons-claws and sich as Lycans did- and seemingly attacking something the vampiress hunter could not see. That unsettled her and she drew her celtic blade, but stayed clear.

What was he doing? Raziel, what is it? she spoke to him through their mind link, hoping he wasn't losing his mind or something was wrong with him. After all, he was the only hybrid and there was no telling what he could do, or see. What was he seeing? Or fighting, really? It looked as though he was facing off with something, just not something she could see.

He heard her voice, but didn't even turn his head towards her. He was too much in a battle mind. You don't see it? The beast turned his head towards Ravalyn then, and that was when Raziel turned his head. The beast turned into a weird mist type form and barreled towards her, but Raziel was faster, tackling her out of the way. The thing overshot and hit a tree, forming into the amorphous blob again, quickly moving away into the middle of the snow before reforming.

Raziel was on it in seconds, claws wildly carving into it. It shrieked, and turned back into the blob, running off before coming back into his more physical form a good 20 feet away. Its 2 forward-most appendages started waving in the air, and two sonic beams formed, firing right at Raziel, but he easily jumped over them. He flittered to be under the beast, and his claws shot up through the head.

The beast fell limp after a final screech, dead. The body was finally visible to Ravalyn, though it wouldn't help her if another one came around.

She was about to answer him but then everything happened so fast. He was coming at her, not even a blur of speed, he was just there and she fell to the side, being tackled by his much larger form. She put her hand to the ground and used it to flip over and bring herself on her feet. She watched curiously as Raziel attacked...something. Then, as sudden as he'd started, he stopped and she could finally see what was going on. Her brows dropped overb her eyes and the color in her eyes swirled dangerously. Pulling her blade, she walked over to it and poked it experimentally. It didn't move and she turned her grim expression over to Raziel next. "What the fuck just happened? I've never seen anything like that before," she admitted quietly.

Raziel's claws retracted, and the dead body fell to the ground beside him even before Ravalyn got close to him. There was a set of images going through his mind, old images that weren't his own. But he recognized the creatures in them. "They're back." He said softly, a hint of a growl in his voice. He rushed off, back inside. He had to get to Alexander, warn him of the danger. These things were dangerous.

"What?" Ravalyn's attention snapped to him and she stared at him intently before he bolted off quite quickly. "Raziel! Hold up! Wait for me!" she snapped out after him as she quickly went after him, sheathing her blade as she went. It didn't take them long to reach the council room again and she rapped her knuckles on it politely, making sure she has acceptance to enter this time. She eyed Raziel, making sure he waited just the same. Busting in on Alexander was rude, even if it was an emergency. "M'lord Alexander! We must speak with you, it's urgent," she said loud enough to be heard through the door.

Alexander was quick to open the door, the council room behind him empty of other people. "What is it?"

"They have returned." Raziel's voice said, rather distant and haunting, even to himself.

"What returned?"

"The Ing. They have returned."

Alexander stared at him with a rather blank look on his face, before he started laughing. "Raziel, you must be joking! The Ing left centuries, milennia ago, before the Vampire and Lycan clans were created!"

Raziel glared at him, his eyes as piercing as any blade, before they closed, focusing. His hand shot out in time to grab the head of the dead corpse of the In Warrior that he had killed outside. And, if there was a face of fear, it was the face that Alexander had on at that moment.

Ravalyn just stood to the side, her arms crossed as she listened to them speak. When Raziel showed Alexander the head on the creature, she was in shock. In all the years, the hundred and some odd years, that she had served under Alexander as a faithful and skilled hunter, she had never seen him show an inkling of fear. It made her cold to her bones and she suddenly wrapped her arms around herself with a shiver.

"M'lord? What...what is the meaning of this?" She asked quietly. She wasn't an old vampire by any stardard, though skilled, and she had no idea what the Ing was. Though it seemed that Alexander did and it wasn't a good reaction he'd given when seeing the head.

Raziel simply crushed the beast, making it disappear, almost into nothing. There was a few black pieces left on the ground, but that was negligible. Alexander turned from them, leading them through the council chamber to the large library that was in the back, that was only for research for dangerous items and enemies. Only the highly ranked could get in there.

Alexander moved near the back of the library, searching a few shelves before pulling out what looked like a very old set of scrolls. He moved to sit down, opening them up and reading the ancient text, text that was in a language older than the Vampire themselves.

"The Ing are interstellar beings, marauders and pillagers. They suck a world dry before moving on..."

"They were repelled by a ancient race, one that was stronger than them, but lost many warriors. Almost all of them died." Raziel finished, looking over Alexander's shoulder to the scroll.

Alexander turned his head in amazement. "You can read this?" He was answered with a nod from Raziel.

She followed after them and watched as Alexander pulled out a scroll and laid it out, reading it to them before Raziel chimed in. Ravalyn stared at him wide-eyed for a moment, just as amazed as Alexander was that Raziel could read the ancient text on the scroll. He really was amazing. Her eyes moved back to her vampire leader and she frowned slightly. "I couldn't even see the damn thing until Raziel killed it. I'm pretty sure he saved my life," she murmured, smiling slightly to Raziel. Eyes again went back to Alexander.

"How are we supposed to fight something we cannot see? If there are numerous amounts of them, Raziel can't fight them all." She wasn't sure if that was entirely true, but she knew she could never let him fight alone, not as long as she had breath in her body.

"That was only one. Raziel said, cutting her off slightly. "They won't send more for a while. But, we must be ready when they do. More Hybrids need to be made. And we can make temporary warriors that can see them. Inject Vampires with Lycan cells, and do the same for the Lycans."

Alexander nodded. If Raziel knew what was going on, it was best to listen to him, even if he was inexperienced. Raziel turned to Ravalyn, a soft smile on his face. "As for me, I think I'm going to retire for the night. I need to feed and rest." He walked past the two, heading out of the library before flittering to Ravalyn's and his room.

She was a little miffed when he cut her off; she knew there had only been one, but the first always led to more. That was her point. It was like seeing a cockroach - if you saw one, you are going to see more. She continued to listen on though, silent, knowing he was right. Suddenly, she felt like the inexperienced one and she didn't like that. It made her uneasy. She was supposed to be the experienced hunter, the one teaching him. Suddenly, she felt so inefficient. Her eyes watched Raziel leave and she was silent a moment, before turning her head to Alexander.

"I will retire as well, I think. Don't hesitant to call if you need me, m'lord. I'm ever in your service," she bowed her head politely and left as well. Not flitting though. She decided to just walk back to her room, where she knew Raziel was. It took a bit of time, a good ten or so minutes, but before long she was opening the door and stepping in, kicking it lightly shut behind her. Taking off her celtic blade, laying it in the same spot as always.

Raziel was on the couch, face down in a pillow, and, surprisingly, completely nude. He felt sore from using his lycan powers on the Ing, his hands were a little red at the knuckles. He sighed as he heard her walk in, happy that she came. He picked his head up and looked over at her. "I'm sorry for interrupting you in there." He said softly, before he buried his head again.

His mind was in a blur of activity, trying to figure out how long they had before the Ing made it here, to attack. All his thoughts were inconclusive.

Ravalyn glanced at him, noting that he seemed a little...well, dejected, almost. "It's alright," she said, as she undid her hair and let the curls spill over her shoulders. She moved into the bedroom and took off her boots, just taking comfort in the almost mundane activity, since she was quite capable of just changing using her mind. She stripped off her suit and laid it all on top of her dresser. Pulled out some loose cotton, black pajama bottoms and a black tank top. The jewelry came off as well, before she padded on barefeet back into the livingroom. Her head tilted as she looked at him again, before she headed towards him.

She climbed onto his back, sitting on his lower back and bottom, using her hands to begin massaging and kneading at the muscles in his back, in the meantime humming some small melody she always did when she had been watching over him in stasis.

He noticed that she left for her bedroom, and his mind turned onto itself. What were the Ing doing back here? Was it linked to the dreams? He had had nightmares even before the stasis tank incident, and many of them had those monstrosities in them. Beasts of destruction, they wouldn't stop until they knew they couldn't win. But how were they...

His mind was cut off as he felt her soft body, in soft pajamas, straddling his hips and massaging his back. His mind went blank as he let out a soft moan. He felt so sore, and her hands were so good at working out the stress. Had he been still too sensitive, he would have orgasmed just from that in a minute or two. But as he got use to everything, he simply moaned out, getting hard and pressing into the couch because of it.

Ravalyn smiled softly to herself when she heard the moans, knowing he was enjoying it, which really, was the entire point. Her hands were skilled, pressing just hard enough to work out knots and sore spots, though her touch at the same time was soft and teasing. Continuing to hum as she worked at his back, up to his shoulders, his neck, then back down again all the way down to his lower back, then his hips, before repeating. In a stress releasing, repeatitive pattern. Leaning over at times to add more pressure, and then leaning back at times to soften her touch.
