What cannot be lost (me and Anjeru)

Ravalyn eyes shifted from her abdomen to his stretched out form beside her. He must have shifted back to human form sometime during the day while she had slept in her deep, cut off sleep. She smiled back to him and turned her head to kiss his lips softly, stretching out her own body; not moving for such an extended period of time sometimes she was forced to work out kinks when she awoke. "Good evening," she murmured. "How did you sleep?"

He smiled softly at her stretches, but he held the smile fakely when she asked how he slept. "Good." He lied, kissing her softly. "I hope you slept well." He nibbled along her lip, holding her to him. The dream's images were still flashing behind his eyes, and it was disturbing to see what the Ing had done.

She let him hold her against his body for a moment, before she decided to call him out. Mates couldn't lie to each other; they could see into each others minds and see inbetween the lines when they spoke. It was a trait of mates. "I can tell you're lying," she said softly as she pressed a kiss to the side of his neck. Lingering there a moment, before lifting her head to look down at him. "What's wrong?" she asked.

Damn, he was caught. She could see his lie like it was thin air. He sighed slightly, closing his eyes and burying his face against her shoulder, arms holding her closer to him. "Bad dreams. I don't know what it means, but I see things that the Ing have done, terrible things."

Ravalyn held him close to her body, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of his head, her hands softly caressing his back. A slight frown curved her lips downward; she had never heard of vampires dreaming, much less of such things, and when she had heard of lycan's dreams, she still hadn't heard of something such as this to have been dreamt. "I'm sorry, Raziel," she said, tightening her arms around him, nuzzling to the top of his head as she held him.

He held her, his cheek gently nuzzling against her as he felt her warmth on him. "It's ok." He said softly. "But, it's like there is a meaning, there is a reason why I am having these dreams." He was talking more to himself than to her, but she was a part of him, so... "It's weird, but I know that there is something I must do about this."

Ravalyn listened to his words and continued to hold him close. Once he was finished, she placed a gentle kiss to his lips and ran her hand over the soft strands of his hair. "Some vampire have been known to have prophetic, meaningful, dreams, that often either - came true, or was extremely useful in some situation or another. Maybe Alexander, or a vampire that's had phrophetic dream, can help us shed some light as to why you are having such nightmares about the Ing," she said as she playfully nipped his lower lip, wanting to help make him feel better.
