What cannot be lost (me and Anjeru)

He watched her slowly advance on him, holding his blade up in defense. She looked on at him as he just watched, a good grip on his blade. But he didn't anticipate the strength behind her attack, and he found his blade flying against the far wall, hitting with a clang before falling to the floor.

"You get this round." He said, walking over and getting his blade. "You'll have to think of your own reward."

Ravalyn watched as the contact sent his blade against the wall and then found herself staring at his rather nice ass as he bent to retrieve it. When he strightened and turned back, she raised her eyes quickly and blushed. "Um, yea, though you need to think of one too," she reminded him, "we're 1 for 1 at the moment." She was a little embrassed that she had been caught staring. "How should we break the tie?" she asked.

He flipped the sword in his hand as he heard her, contemplating their ordeal. "We have to split a tie... Hmm..." He walked past her, his sword smacking against her ass lightly with the flat side. "First to disarm the other?" He smirked as he watched her. It was too bad they weren't doing this in a more private area, or he would pull out some tricks on her.

She actually squeaked and blushed hotly as he smacked her ass with the flat of his sword. She mentally locked the doors to the training center, which flipped the light to red which meant it was occupied and off limits until they were finished. "I've locked off the the room, so this is a 'use all means necessary'," she said with a small smirk as she turned to face him, bracing herself. With the privacy, there were a great deal of tricks they could use against each other.

He gave her a 'or really' look when she said it was free for all since the doors were locked. He readied his sword, raising the blade as if to strike... and a strong air current came out of it, blasting against her. He took that opportunity to rush forward and do a heavy vertical slash on her.

The look almost made her laugh and she was ready, even when the strong wind current hit her. She didn't falter, only slid back an inch, still managing to block his blade and not lose her's at the same time, having to use more than just her normal strength to do so. She placed a hand on his shoulder and used the hold to flip over him, sending an air current just as strong at him as she landed with a thunk behind him. Blade still up and ready.

He wasn't expecting that, though he didn't stagger at all from the wind blast she sent at him. He turned around, looking at her quickly as he brought his blade up. This time, he simply sucked in air while the tip of the blade was at his mouth. His head came forward and turned to look at his left, then he heavily exhaled and turned his head to the right, a huge stream of flames coming out from his mouth.

It was her turn to be surprised and her eyes widened for a second, before she inwardly focused enough for an image. She focused hard on that image and just before the flames came to her, bat-like wings sprouted from her back and she jumped above the flames. They managed to dance across her clothes though and she lost a sleeve and part of her shirt and there was a singed hole in the thigh of her right pant leg.

"I wasn't expecting that," she admitted as she thought for a moment, before letting the wings go and dropping back to the ground to simply watch him now. She wasn't aware of what he was capable of and was suddenly wary of taking the offensive.

He heard her words, jumping back a bit before holding his blade to the side, and doing a low bow. But this was something to lower her guard, because it was from that position that he dashed forward, doing a heavy, long horizontal strike that would at least make her sword shake up her arm if she blocked it. He was going to win in the tie. It might let him go out hunting with her.

The bow was a little suspicious given the current circumstances and she didn't let her guard down, blocking his attack with blade. She grit her teeth as the hit jarred her whole body, and a growl deep in her throat, she used that sudden weight against her, to push forward with a sudden burst of power, knocking him back off of her. As soon as he stumbled back, she slammed her hilt against his own, to jar his hold on the blade enough to hopefully loosen his grip.

She did a interesting sort of charge technique to knock him back, then tried to hit him with the hilt. He simply dodged the latter after being staggered back, not wanting to risk it. She had everything over him: speed, strength, experience. The only thing he had was that he was a unknown. And he would have to use that fully.

He slowly moved back towards her, his blade in a defensive stance. Then he struck fast, a downward slash that could break her defense. Before it hit, though, he teleported behind her and slashed down, the blade only cutting through her shirt. Another quick teleport and he was at her side, his blade doing a stab and twist to loosen her grip.

He did stumble back, but managed to keep himself from taking the hilt hit, so she simply straightened and turned to face him. Watching him carefully. There was still so much they didn't know about him, and about what he could do. He came at her and she braced herself, but then he teleported again. On instinct, she turned her body and found the blade of sword slicing through the fabric of her shirt. Gone again, then striking at her, a jab and twist to try and knock the sword from her. She grit her teeth and moved her arm with the twist, though the angle put a strain on her wrist. She kicked her foot out and planted it to his abdomen to shove him back.

She slid free and jumped back, first ripping off the tattered remains of her shirt, then tossing the blade to her other hand, shaking out the throbbing wrist a moment. Her eyes narrowed some and she took hold of the sword again, waiting. At this point, defensive seemed to be the better option.

He jumped around the room, using his newly-learned versatility without teleportation to the most. Then he turned towards her. He sucked on the end of the blade before sending two large balls of flame at her. Then he jumped to the side.

This was going to be tough, he knew it. He needed to find a opening, and she wasn't giving him any at all. A little frustrated, he rushed forward, his blade at the ready.

The balls of flames made her sprout the wings again and she jumped over them, but decided the keep the wings for now. He got frustrated, she could tell and was rushing her now. She flipped her blade, holding it upside down and jumped up, flying down at him to strike from above with a powerful, fast downward strike. If it didn't work, she was bound for one hell of a recoil when he threw her off.

He watched her take flight, moving her blade to stab downwards and continually trying to strike him. He dodged a few of them before doing a heavy parry to the side, something that would make her spin in a circle. He jumped up, his blade coming the other way around to bounce off hers, hopefully to force it out of her hands.

The force of it not only made her lose her handle on the blade, but also her balance as she had nothing to brace herself on being airborn. When they clashed, she gasped out as they shock flew up her arm, numbing it enough to lose her grip. She bounced off and flew back several feet, landing with an 'oomph' and no wings now. The word clatted against the ground a few feet from her and she groaned, sitting up and rubbing her ass with a hand. "Ok, that one's all yours," she said.

He moved quick, gladly dropping his weapon to grab her before she hit the ground. He still spanked her lightly, though. "It was well fought." He said, kissing her cheek lightly as he grabbed his katana. "Well, what now? You have to think of my reward. And I still have restless energy.'

Ravalyn blushed as he spanked her bottom and she stuck her tongue out at him, before she just rested against him for a moment while she thought. "Well, you did very well. Not many people can stand up to my blade," she mused. "I haven't actually thought of anything to give you in reward. Unless there is something specific you want?" She cocked her eyebrow in question, using the oppurtunity to press a soft kiss and nip to the side of his neck, her hand resting against his chest over his heart.

He moaned softly as she nipped at his neck, tilting his head to give her more access. His free hand came and rested on her hand that was on his chest, letting out a soft sigh between her kisses. He turned his head and kissed her, a deep, passionate kiss. He broke it and pulled her close, nuzzling against her form. "I have nothing specific that I want." He said softly, nipping at her lip.

Ravalyn lost herself in the kiss for a good long moment, enjoying it to the very fiber of her being. It made her skin tingle and it was only then did she realize she was missing her shirt. She laughed softly as he nipped her lip. "I seem to have lost my shirt," she said as she turned all the locks over in her mind, allowing the training center not to be blocked off. "Well, how about this, the next time I'm sent out on a hunt I will ask that you come with. Is that an acceptable prize?"

He laughed softly with her when she said she lost her shirt, but his face went beaming as she gave him a more than acceptable price. "I would love that." He breathed, looking into her eyes before kissing her deeply. "Let's go back to your room." He said softly. "I want to lay down."

She nodded and hopped out of his arms, focusing for a second before another shirt of the same kind appeared on her body. She stretched a bit, and the sword came flying back into her hand as she walked to the rack to put it away. Doubling checking everything, she grabbed his hand with a smile and walked with him out of the training room. "Have fun?" one of the lab techs commented when seeing the singed hole in her jeans. She laughed softly and nodded her head, having forgotten about it.

No one seemed to bother them for the most part, and before long they came back to her room and, after following him, she shut the door. She stretched again, getting the kinks out of her arms as she licked her lips. "You're welcome to lay down anywhere. If you want to watch the tv, you can lay down on the couch."

He walked with her, holding her hand the whole way down. They reached her rooms, and he instantly went to the couch. But, he dragged her along with him, sitting her down and laying his head in her lap. He loved the physical contact, felt so close to her with it. "Is that temporal teleportation something common in vampires?" He asked in a soft voice.

She squeaked and giggled as he dragged her with to the couch, but sat anyway and ran her fingers through his hair as he laid his head in her lap. She mulled over his question for a moment and softly shook her head. "I can't do it. If it is, it must be something only someone as powerful as Alexander can accomplish, or higher ups such as he. I'm a hunter under the council, so I'm just short of the requirements it takes to be on the council itself," she said as she caressed his cheek with her fingertips. "It's impressive either way. Wasn't what I expected, but better. You're doing amazing."

The fact that it was at least uncommon, if not unheard of, sent a chill through his system. But her comment on how good he was doing made him beam in delight as he looked at her. He sat up, kissing her deeply, before moving to sit next to her. "I love you." He whispered, kissing down to her neck.
