Let's see 8 years ago I was in class, and no TVs were allowed to be on. My sub said he was going to get fired for it and turned it on for us to watch the towers falls. Kinda creepy considering I'd been there quite a few times.
After that they quickly evacuated all the schools in my area since several large trucks went missing earlier in the morning. Kept saying they were heading for the oil processing areas. It was big Houston news, about the trucks, but not much elsewhere.
Oh by the way...the sub was infact fired for the incident. Tried to get him rehired.
 
Normly I take longer to ease in to a board and get to know the people but to try and get my post count up guss I will jump in head first *Hits a rock* @_@ ....knew that was a bad idea......

Fact: I've always figured that the simple fact that as a country we look at September 11th and go, "Boo Hoo! What and aweful day!" and stare at it in dread means that the terrorist action was effective. If not super effective.
 
Haha how well put. Seems I've not been the only one around here to think that. Personally, I think of it as a tragedy but no more tragic that any other loss of life. Many people think it's so terrible because we are Amerikkka. Well, fuck you, you ignorant fucks. We're no better than any other country that has lost lives.
