I was.... sleeping. Seriously. I slept all morning, went to work at 1 am and someone said something about the news. Went to the break room and went 'No fucking way.'
Got off work early that day, incidentally (mall closed because of it).

I never watch the news heh

My stepdad worked there and I was gonna stop by and visit him. He got sick and slept in that day, to this day he's a bit cocky about his luck. My mom freaked out most of the morning because his cellphone was off and mine was off and I had told her I was gonna go visit him. I mean it was a terrible tragedy but it did bring some families closer together and frankly people got to see a bit of what happens in those other countries where thousands die over senselessness.
